December 9th marked the anniversary of the 1981 murder of Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner. Journalist and former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal continues to sit in prison for the crime, which he maintains that he did not commit.

Earlier this year, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to consider an appeal by Abu-Jamal, thereby letting his murder conviction stand. The appeal argued that some blacks had been unfairly excluded from the jury. Prosecutors are currently seeking to reinstate Abu-Jamal’s death sentence in follow-up to a 2008 order by the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeal for a new capital sentencing hearing over concerns that the original jury was improperly instructed.

Let us pray for Officer Faulkner and his family and let us not forget those ignorant individuals who stand up and support wesley cook (aka mumia abu jamal,) a cold blooded cop killer.

It is disgusting that these individuals choose to support jamal, despite the overwhelming evidence against him.

And while everyone is entitled to an opinion, to simply dismiss the facts of the case and stand on the other side of reason, is not acceptable. Remember this next time you support these idiots.

A clear case of open-and-shut guilt is how Philadelphia police and prosecutors describe the first-degree murder conviction that sent journalist Mumia Abu-Jamal to death row over a quarter century ago.

However, just a quick peek underneath the surface of this case reveals a litany of errors and wrongdoing by police, prosecutors and judges that implode all claims of Abu-Jamal’s absolute guilt.

The case against the world’s most famous death-row denizen arguably contains compelling aspects of apparent guilt, albeit circumstantial and lacking the conclusive forensic evidence normally expected in such a high-profile prosecution.

Exista o distorsionare / contradictie intre lucrurile pe care vrem sa le credem adevarate si lucrurile care sunt adevarate (desi “precise” ar fi un termen mai bun), toate provenind din informatia pe care o acceptam ca fiind corecta, fara a-i confrunta veridicitatea.

Modele deficite sau insuficiente ale realitatii sunt doar un produs a ceea ce Walter Lippman a enumerat ca factori ai economiei efortului: “… limitarile contactului social, timpul comparativ insuficient disponibil in fiecare zi pentru a acorda atentiei la treburile publice, distorsionarea care rezulta datorita evenimentelor care trebuie comprimate in mesaje foarte scurte, dificultatea de a face un vocabular mic sa exprime o lume complicata, si in final teama de confruntare cu acele notiuni care ar parea sa ameninte rutina existenta din viata oamenilor.”

Proiectul poate avea un scop educational, ideal ar fi sa repare erorile cauzate nu de fictiunea sau realitatea prezentata, aici, cu o concluzie evidenta, ci de fictiunea din mintea noastra, cauza, precum si mediul tuturor informatiilor inselatoare. Si, deasemenea, trebuie adaugat, daca nu face parte din istoria noastra, sau din prezent, ce ar fi mai intelept de ales, luand si lipsa timpului in ecuatie, empatia sau indiferenta?

Ioana Nitu (n.1986) a absolvit Universitatea Nationala de Arte, Bucuresti, a fost assistant director la Pavilion Unicredit. Din septembrie 2009 a fost numita director executiv al Bucharest Biennale.

Silvia Vasilescu (n.1986) a absolvit Universitatea Nationala de Arte, Bucuresti, si in prezent este publication and educational manager la Pavilion Unicredit si Bucharest Biennale. A fost assistant curator laproiectul “Exploring the Return of Repression” si este project manager al proiectului educational Free Academy.

Mumia Abu-Jamal est dans le couloir de la mort depuis 1982, condamné dans un simulacre de procès pour l’assassinat d’un policier de Philadelphie Daniel Faulkner.

Son importance pour la communauté noire et ceux qui lutte contre l’injustice et l’oppression est inestimable, comme l’illustre ce magnifique hommage avec une collection d’artistes sur ce double album de Black Waxx intitulé: «On the Move”.

D’autres musiciens ont fait des hommages dans le passé pour Mumia, mais Black Waxx a compilé une liste impressionnante li d’artistessur cet excellent album.

Black Waxx est également à l’origine du documentaire novateur «Disappearing Voices: The Decline of Black Radio», dirigée par U-Savior Washington.

On the Move met en vedette des artistes légendaires tels que Public Enemy, Abiodun Oyewole de The Last Poets et le Black rock group Living Colour. Du Jazz fusion standout Kafele Bandele; Neo-Soul Soul chanteuse Nana et les rappeurs Immortal Technique, Hasan Salaam et Kahlil Khan sont partis d’une tournée musicale honorant Mumia.

Abu-Jamal, connu comme «la voix des sans-voix» a été rebaptisée «le plus connu prisonnier dans le couloir de la mort dans le monde.”

Des organisations comme la NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, ainsi que d’innombrables célébrités et des dirigeants communautaires ont longtemps protesté contre la procédure injuste et inéquitable dans le cas Abu-Jamal.

De nombreuses personnes soutiennent que le journaliste primé à eu procès à charge pour avoir été un journaliste militant et ancien ministre de l’information des Black Panther . Cela comprenait la pénétration dans la corruption politique à Philadelphie et la guerre de cette ville contre la MOVE Organization, un groupe pour le retour à la nature, dont les locaux ont été réduits en ruines dans un attentat à la bombe autorisé par l’ancien maire de Philadelphie, Wilson Goode, en 1985.

Les militants et les journalistes, comme le journaliste de Philadelphie Lynn Washington, ont mis en évidence de nombreuses incohérences et d’irrégularités dans l’affaire de Mumia Abu-Jamal’s like: subornation de témoin, témoignage sous la contrainte et a créer un précédent judiciaire connu comme « l’exception Mumia »,

Par ailleurs, le présidant le juge Albert Sabo est connu pour avoir déclaré qu’il allait aider les procureurs à “fry the nigger.” ».

Les gens impartiaux peuvent contester la culpabilité ou l’innocence d’Abu-Jamal.. Toutefois, le fait que sa condamnation était injuste est indiscutable. Son cas représente la plus grossière deS violations de l’équité dans la jurisprudence américaine. Basé sur ceLA, sans parler de ses 30 ans dans le couloir de la mort, il devrait être libéré immédiatement

There is right now a very dangerous converging of forces committed to the execution of Mumia. Lynne Abraham, the current District Attorney in Philadelphia, is calling loudly for the Supreme Court to reinstate Mumia’s death sentence so that Governor Ed Rendell can do what he has repeatedly promised to do: sign the death warrant. The US Supreme Court is currently reviewing a death penalty case that could have serious implications for Mumia. A ruling on Mumia’s case could come anytime.

To cover up the obscenity of their trying to murder an innocent Black man, a great thinker and revolutionary, they now have a Black man, Seth Williams, leading the race for those running to replace DA Abraham. Williams, who is expected to be the next DA of Philadelphia, has stated that he believes Mumia is guilty and should be executed. He is being actively supported by the Fraternal Order of Police.

Finally, on December 9th, the 28th anniversary of the original incident that led to Mumia’s incarceration and death sentence, a new film, a hit-piece, called “The Barrel of a Gun” also produced by a Black man, will premiere both in the US and Germany.

This is the left-wing cop-killer apologist for Mumia Abu-Jamal. Both  he and Van Jones were also associated with the George Soros-funded Center for American Progress. Hill had also spoken before a black communist group-something he had proudly listed in his official curriculum vitae. He was frequent  paid guest on O’Reilly, as well as other evening hosts.

Back in 2007, he wrote an article, “Why I Support the Fairness Doctrine,” hyping a study by the Center for American Progress on the alleged need to challenge conservative domination of talk radio. A graphic by the article depicted Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh as the targets of this effort (O’Reilly then had a radio show). In addition,  he lectured on “The Importance of Ideological Training in the New Millenium (sic)” at the Polymathematic University, also known as the “Political Education Program for the Poor Righteous Communist Party.”

Come on, Bill O’Reilly. Did you recommend hiring the pinhead? If not, why did you put him on the air so many times? It’s time to emerge from your own no-spin zone.
