This is my mini music station. I set it up just before my second year of Med school started. It is a make-shift music station in which I made use of what’s available for me right now. My plan was to only arrange my albums. They’re in such a mess and I can’t stand looking at them like that. No specific arrangements like by genre or by artist, I just placed them according to their size. As you can see, the traditional glass cases are at the bottom part of the shelf and beside it are the albums with CD cases larger than the traditional ones and others of irregular shapes. Larger ones are on the top part and most of these are Korean albums. I usually play them on the component dad set up in their room but I wasn’t able to do that after they moved it to the first floor. After that, I’m keeping myself satisfied with the sound produced by my old and reliable CD player connected to stereo computer speakers. Then I had a great idea. I connected the amplifier of my bass guitar to a jack and then to the CD player, then, good music filled my room. I stayed for almost 3 hours that night equalizing the sounds of that amplifier. It gives off a deep sound with, of course, excellent bass, good mid tones but the trebles are a bit off. Then the next day, another idea struck me. I plugged the amplifier for my electric guitar to a jack that can hold to speakers and connected both of them to the CD player. And a much vibrant and crisp sound was coming out of those speakers. And I never thought I could hear my albums this way and this good. The electric guitar amplifier improved the mid tones and balanced the bass sounds with the crisp and cool treble it’s producing. And throughout the process, I’m playing my most beloved Sugarfree album ‘Sa Wakas’. IU‘s Last Fantasy album is the one being played when I took the photo. I also used it to fix the midtones because of her vocal range and there are a lot of string instruments in the tracks.

Here me checking the sounds of my mini music station through the ears of Miss Cheese. The song is Mariposa. Does it sound good? The sound it produce live is far better than the recorded clip. But I think my amateur ears says that it’s still good. When I play with these speakers, it rings throughout our humble home so I make sure it’s not that loud. You can even here my brother, Ivan, singing some parts of the song. This is the beginning of my dream to have a well-equipped and a beautiful sounding music station in the future. For now, I’ll just keep on collecting more albums.

On June 22nd, Girls’ Generation performed “PAPARAZZI” live for the first time on TV Asahi’s “Music Station”. Dressed in black and white outfits with pink gloves from the music video, the nine members delivered a flawless performance of the fast-paced and complex choreography.

Before their performance, “Music Station” aired an introduction showing Girls’ Generation’s recent activities, including their release of “The Boys” and their participation in “SMTOWN Live World Tour III”. Girls’ Generation then took part in a talk segment in which Sooyoung spoke in Japanese and mentioned that the members of Girls’ Generation have been waiting and looking forward to once again meeting their Japanese fans. Taeyeon, who spoke in Korean, discussed the camera pose in the song’s choreography and said that each girl gave the dance her own flavor. Finally, Yoona spoke in Japanese and said that the members were nervous because it was their first time performing the single. After their performance, Girls’ Generation also left their autographs in thanks to “Music Station”.

In addition, Girls’ Generation has released the “GOLD” version of the “PAPARAZZI” music video, the third of five music videos for their latest single. This version of the music video features the members in the black and white outfits and pink gloves seen in the previous music videos and on “Music Station”.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu recently apologized to Kanjani8 fans on Twitter.

On the June 15th episode of ‘MUSIC STATION’, Kyary was about to perform and was sitting in the front row. However, her huge ribbon blocked the members of Kanjani8 who were sitting behind her.

After the broadcast, a fan of Kanjani8 tweeted Kyary, “Isn’t your ribbon too big? I couldn’t see Kanjani8’s faces. It’s okay to stand out, but please think about the trouble you may be causing other people.” To which Kyary responded, “I’m sorry about that ( ; ; )”.

On that day Kyary wore her Rubik’s Cube outfit, since she knew her fans would enjoy it. Afterwards she tweeted, “From now on, whenever I am on TV programs with other artists performing, this 19-year old will pay attention to what she wears. However, when I think about it the cute outfits are usually Huge! Bulky! Heavy! Let’s come up with a smaller design next time.”

TV Asahi’s popular music program, ‘MUSIC STATION’, has revealed the guest lineup for their June 22nd broadcast!

For the June 22nd episode, KAT-TUN, Shoujo Jidai (Girls’ Generation), and Maeda Atsuko will take the stage with their new singles, while Kuwata Keisuke prepares a special medley.

In addition to that, American band LINKIN PARK will also be in attendance.

On the May 25th broadcast of Music Station, a variety of artists as AKB48, GLAY, Ieiri Leo, Hirai Ken, and UK singer Noel Gallagher took to the stage to put on exciting performances.

AKB48 performed the latest single Manatsu no Sounds good!, they also showed little kids seeing Kojima Haruna, and baby pictures of AKB members.
