What a great way to start off your Thanksgiving, and make it that much more memorable with the anticipated release of Lupe Fiasco’s new mixtape titled Enemy Of The State: A Love Story! The one track cassette style mixtape has a rock influence, and a more aggressive Lupe Fiasco flow. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Give thanks for the unreasonable happiness that is your life, and for all the people and things that make it so damn interesting.

Also as a special bonus, Lu’ is dropping another mixtape called Friend of the People on Christmas.

The last weekwnd was kinda slow-motion and not of the best ones, but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have a favourite tune of it. So for this one it was produced by Super Flu and called Shine.

So far I had heard of this duo only for a few times, but lately I found myself listening to their tunes/remixes pretty oftenly. One thing that stuck into my mind about them was their definiton @myspace of music genres they’re making – Tropical / Death Metal / Christian Rap – it says, hahaa, it made me laugh.
But now back to the topic – this very tune produced by german duo got me really psyched because of it’s simplicity and the unstoppable groove it makes inside you. They released it in the middle of this year on Monaberry label. Yes, the official video they made is also damn freaky, funny and positive thoughts bringing so together with the fantastic tune it is even better. Nothing more to add here, just watch n’listen to it, mates!

Since there weren’t any choices, it goes to Michael. It goes to him not because he was the best this year but because he died this year, let’s keep it real. This music industry is so politically inclined they couldn’t just say we are giving MJ the accolades we haven’t given out of guilt…maybe if more of us were supportive and loving toward one of the greatest to ever do it then maybe the people closer to him would have done more to protect and take care of him.

Looking forward to seeing who actually wins! Maybe the industry can take notes from the AMAs by giving awards based on sales and not politics since sales mean PEOPLE chose the winners! *Pardon me Grammys* but the voters are not necessarily in tune with the music…I’ll get on their case in another blog coming soon!

Yes, a long time has passed since I’ve written something down here. But finally the time has come again. So for today I’d like to present to you two sets/mixes of electronical music. As I’m totally into tech house for the moment, they both will somehow linked with this musical genre.
The first one is by Chris Lake and it’s called Wonderland. I found it accidentally while browsing myspace for the latest uploads of my friends. Chris had posted a link to it in his myspace blog, so I decided to check it out. The beginning of it is pretty techhouse, then it goes forward with some electro house tunes and the whole set is held in this kind of mix of styles. For today it’s damn suitable, so check it out by clicking on the name of it below!

And the second one is made by me myself. As I was kinda collecting catchy tunes for a while now, some days ago I decided to unite them into a mix dedicated to the passing autumn and apporaching winter feelings, so it’s called The PreChistmas Set. All in all it’s held in a techhouse/techno genre and contains some very fresh tracks as well as some classic ones, which sticked to my mind lately. Hope that the download link works, cuz I got some uploading problems and I haven’t used rapidshare before for my uploads. So I hope that you can feel the wintertime coming and tech into your hearing system, mates!
