Great for 4×4s, RVs, SUVs, and trucks, and inflates a mid-sized car tire in about 3 minutes.

Finally A Quality Tire Air Compressor.
This is a great air compressor that I have used multiple times on my minivan and sedan, as well as for blowing up smaller items such as yoga balls and kid pools. The product comes in a very useful storage case that can be easily put under a car’s back seat. It also has a screw on cap for the tire that stays in place w/o you having to sit and constantly hold it. The tire guage works quite well, as it is very easy to see the PSI.

I’m also happy to say that customer service is excellent -After accidently stepping on the ligher attachment and breaking it, I contacted Slime and they immediately sent me out a replacement. They got back to me within a day on e-mail and I had the part, which I think came across the country, within a week. The product works great.

The one thing you should do is watch how hot the unit gets- it inflates my minivan tire fine, but sometimes when I need a lot of air, it gets a bit hot. To avoid overheating, I sometimes turn on and off the unit, though I only need to do this unless the tire is extremely low.

I have no reservations about this product and will probably buy another one for other family members.

Excellent Learning Tool
We received this DVD for Christmas for my 2-1/2 year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it! She asks to watch it all the time, and she loves Huckle Cat. The characters are cute, and the songs are adorable. My daughter recognizes the numbers 1 through 10 with no problem now, and she is working on 11 through 20. We also got Richard Scarry’s Best ABC Video (DVD), and I highly recommend that one too.

Take A Spin With Me!
I purchased this item under the advice of my oldest son. My wife and I love to make a large salad that lasts for about 3 days but wouldn’t you know it, moisture from the different vegetables spoil it sooner. So I looked up different spinners and found this one. A bit pricey it thought at first but worth every penny. I chop, slice, shred, dice or drain and pour my salad content into the bowl. And like a little kid, make the excess water go away. Just pop up the plunger and giving it a few presses. (OK, so I’m having too much fun spinning it all around)
The water is on the bottom, and the salad is dryer in the basket. Just wash your items chop them up, spin them down, serve and eat. Our salads have lasted almost a week now saving us lots of money and time. Easy to use, easy to clean, sturdy but a bit large for some. A definite recommendation from me.

Yes Definitely The Best Tribute Cd Ever!
I was not expecting this to be a good CD…after all, who can do Frankie better than, or as good as Frankie? But I was very pleasantly surprised by this collection as each artist (all very skilled and true artists) made each track their own. They made them new again. The songs kept their original flavor, while bringing something new, whether it was singing in a different key, adding harmonies, adding riffs, or giving the song a new feel. My favorite was Kevon Edmonds’ rendition of “Never Let You Down.” It was so good, I think that might have to be my wedding song someday! Kem’s rendering of “Golden Time of Day” sent chills down my spine. I loved the new feel added to Musiq’s “Silky Soul” and “I Wanna Thank You” with The Clark Sisters. Raheem DeVaughn knocked me out with his vocals on “We Are One,” and Ledisi proved why she is a true artist and a powerful singer on “Happy Feelins.” Mint Condition, the only band on the LP, turned in a solid performance that paid tribute to the old while making it new, while Joe and Avant were smooth on their tracks. The only track I wasn’t impressed with was Mary J. Blige’s “Before I Let Go.” That’s a hard song to remake and have people accept, but Mary didn’t even sound like she was trying. But the song is not unbearable. This CD was so good, I HAD to write a review!

Everybody knows this is a Blu-Ray DVD player, enough of that.

I have to write about how this unit has impressed me with features besides the fact that it can play a Blu-Ray DVD. This unit is advertised that it can connect to your home network via wireless (or Ethernet) but what it doesn’t say is how well this was pulled off. First, the unit is running a Linux OS accompanied by some excellent companion software. When I booted this unit up, the first thing I did was setup the wireless network and downloaded the latest firmware update. Then I went to My Media from the default start screen if no DVD in in the player. It gave me a little warning about connecting to a wireless network may have performance issues (maybe I can disable this). Then I saw all the shared folders on my home network (multiple computers). The DVD player let me browse all our shared folders for all kinds of media. Let me tell you it does it all, I viewed pictures, played songs, watched music videos, some were HD but others were meant for iPod, so yeah it didn’t look to great on a 50″ TV but everything I could find played as good as could be expected.

Now for the real test. High quality videos over wireless. This is what impressed me the most. As long as your wireless connection is faster than this units need to feed on the media stream, it does wonderfully. I tested .avi files, .mkv files, mp4 files, and it eats them all with joy. I tried a wide variety of resolutions and file sizes and still it isn’t picky about what you feed it. Here is a good test to know if your wireless network is fast enough to feed this unit or not (requires two wireless computers). A typical HIGH quality (720p) one hour TV show is about 1 GB, so if you can copy a 1 GB file from one device to another in less than an hour, you’re in luck. Thus, in theory if you can copy over 4 GB an hour between devices you could watch a full length 1080p movie via a wireless connection. Trying this will be my next test.

Now for YouTube and actually accessing the internet with this unit, I have to say it works, but it isn’t really practical. It’s a great novelty item but wears off quick. Maybe someday all of our appliances will talk to the internet, but for now our best bet is to feed this unit from inside your home network via another computer. Oh yeah, did I mention it plays any media you can throw at it via the USB port in the front of the machine too? Basically this DVD player is a Linux computer with every CODEX I could think of pre-loaded. Last but not least it plays burned movies from common movie maker software. If you ever get bored discovering all the things you can do with this unit I suppose you can try playing a regular DVD, which I haven’t even tried yet.

Sharp Knives, At Last
I purchased these for myself and almost cut off my fingers a numbr of times. I wanted to give them as a gift but was afraid of the consequences. Anyway, I did buy a set for my brother, but made him promise to be careful. These knives are sharp! This is a great gift idea for anyone with stick straight lashes like myself.  This is the holy-grail of eyelash curlers.  It’s not heated, it’s not plated in gold and it doesn’t jump onto your face and curl your lashes by itself but what it does is this: It Works!  This gives you perfectly curled lashes without hassel and stress which is the one thing we don’t want in the mornings.

I Love This Alarm
I have had 5 viper products over time and this is the best one I have owned. I installed it by myself in my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it works great. This model remote has a better screen than my other car which has the 5900. The rechargeable battery is a must compared to putting a new AAA battery in every few weeks! What a waste. The range is good and combined with a CAN BUS module, install is much easier these days and integrates with the factory computer/alarm system. In fact, I can use the original unlock/lock remote and it arms/disarms the VIPER! I don’t use it because I need the remote start feature but it is nice to have an additional backup. Also, the 5901 (unlike the 5900) comes with a second remote. It is the 1 way remote, but is still great to have a second remote to go with the second key. DE also put the arm light inside the antenna. At first, I didn’t like this but I found a nice spot behind the rear view mirror and tucked in the roof that allows the light to shine yet be somewhat discrete. Also, the program button is on the antenna. Just make sure you can access it and don’t tuck the antenna to far way! Because of these changes, you have to have the antenna plugged in for the 5901 to even turn on. I had it all hooked up and thought I’d be able to test. No worky. Turns out the antenna has to be plugged in! Good to know. The shock sensor is now built into the main box too. Not sure what I think about that yet. Last thing is the remote is awesome. I already mentioned the battery, but the remote is now a mini computer. There are so many programming options such as, more feedback about the status of the car, current time, cabin temperature (which is currently stuck at 95 deg all the time!), several color options to choose, vibrate and several audible options (5900 had some of this), and a bigger screen. All in all.. love it. This is the best out there.

I Have To Agree!!!
this product is great for home use. it does take awhile to heat up, but is awesome. i use generic lamination pouches with it and the 5mil works better than the 3 mil samples it comes with. i’m using it to laminate letter size pages. Bible studies that i print on the computer, and then laminate so i can use in my hot tub. it works terrific! i’ve also made bookmarks using letter size pouches, and have put 3 hole punches so i can put lessons in a binder. the bookmarks and 3 hole punches work great and are waterproof, as long as the cuts and holes are in the lamination part of the pouch only, and not on the paper. so i cut the paper before i laminate it so i have room to 3-hole punch or cut into bookmarks. for the bookmarks though i had to round the corners as they were very sharp. this is an awesome product. it’s slow, so i wouldn’t recommend if you have high volume or little patience.

A Valuable Resource *****

Let’s get one thing clear. This book is not a comprehensive book on grammar, syntax, or anything else. It’s designed to be a handy little quick-reference for busy people. In this respect, the book succeeds admirably. It covers everything you might need to look up in a pinch–I’m a writer and it’s nice to have something that is even faster than the internet to use. That’s the goal of this book (I think).

The spiral binding is nice–it’s a bother to have a reference book that won’t stay open when you are trying to type on a computer. Hacker thought of everything to make the book more efficient to use. The trim size is odd. I think it’s designed to fit in a back pocket, although I don’t know any woman that would ever stuff a book into her pants, I guess it’s possible that a male reader might do it.

It’s a little pricey for a quick-reference, but I’m betting that Amazon will discount the book eventually. At least it qualifies for super-saver shipping at full price. Great little reference!
