Berbagai peralatan yang dibutuhkan adalah sebagai berikut:

Perlu anda ketahui bahwa kabel UTP memiliki 8 kabel (4 pasang) didalamnya yang memiliki warna yang berbeda. 4 pasang kabel itu adalah:
Pasangan 1 : Putih/Biru dan Biru,
Pasangan 2 : Putih/Oranye dan Oranye,
Pasangan 3 : Putih/Hijau dan Hijau,
Pasangan 4 : Putih/Coklat dan Coklat

Pemasangan kabel UTP sendiri terbagi dua jenis. Straight Through dan Cross Over. Perbedaannya adalah:
1. Straight Through
Jenis terminasi ini paling sering dipakai pada LAN Ethernet 10BaseT, untuk menghubungkan PC dengan HUB atau SWITCH, PC dengan outlet di dinding, ataupun untuk instalasi dari HUB ke outlet di dinding.
Secara warna, urutan kabel pada saat dipasang pada konektor RJ 45 adalah :
Pin 1 : Putih/Oranye
Pin 2 : Oranye
Pin 3 : Putih/Hijau
Pin 4 : Biru
Pin 5 : Putih Biru
Pin 6 : Hijau
Pin 7 : Putih/Coklat
Pin 8 : Coklat
**-> Urutan ini berlaku sama pada 2 sisi kabel.

2. Cross Over
Kabel jenis ini biasanya dipakai untuk menghubungkan HUB/SWITCH dengan HUB/SWITCH yang lain.

Urutan pemasangan :
Salah satu sisi kabel diterminasi sesuai dengan standard “Straight Through”, sedangkan sisi kabel lainnya, dilakukan “Cross-Over”, sbb :
Pin 1 : Putih/Hijau
Pin 2 : Hijau
Pin 3 : Putih/Oranye
Pin 4 : Biru
Pin 5 : Putih/Biru
Pin 6 : Oranye
Pin 7 : Putih/Coklat
Pin 8 : Coklat
Harap diingat bahwa yang di-cross-over hanya salah satu sisi kabel saja.

langkah-langkah pemasangan kabel UTP pada konektor RJ45:

• Lepaskan jaket luar kabel UTP dengan hati-hati tanpa merusak 4 pasang kabel didalamnya dengan menggunakan climpping tool.

• Potonglah dengan rapi 4 pasang kabel kecil itu sehingga hanya memiliki panjang setengah inci saja. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar kabel nantinya terpasang dengan erat pada konektor.

• Bukalah klip pada konektor RJ45 lalu masukkan kabel-kabel tersebut ke dalam pin-pin didalamnya dengan susunan warna yang telah ditentukan.

• Setelah itu eratkan konektor RJ45 dan kabel dengan menggunakan climpping tool kembali.

PENDAHULUAN
Periferal komputer merupakan peralatan pendukung dari sebuah PC. Periferal dapat meliputi keyboard, mouse, monitor, dan printer. Pada umumnya periferal mengalami masalah yang disebabkan karena debu, percikan air, dan kotoran.

I. Menyiapkan Perawatan Peripheral
Sebelum melakukan perawatan peripheral , pertama yang harus kita siapkan adalah peralatan dan bahan , seperti :

• Kuas
• Penyedot debu mini
• Kain kering atau tisu
• Cairan pembersih / cleaner

Kedua , kita harus tahu masalah apa yang terjadi pada peripheral tersebut , contohnya : – tombol keyboard yang sulit di pakai
- bunyi fan yang berisik
- printer tidak dapat mencetak , dll

II. Melakukan Perawatan Peripheral
Untuk melakukan pembersihan komponen pada periferal harus melalui cara atau prosedure tertentu. Prosedur yang diambil harus disesuakan dengan jenis periferal dan kotoran yang berada pada peripheral tersebut.

Berikut langkah-langkah pembersihan komponen periferal:

a) Keyboard
Prosedur membersihkan keyboard dari kotoran cair:
• Gunakan lap kering atau tisu untuk membersihkan kotoran cair.
• Bersihkan bagian tombol keyboard secara perlahan

Prosedur Membersihkan keyboard dari debu dan kotoran:
Gunakan kuas kecil atau vacuum cleaner dengan ujung sikat yang kecil dan sempit.
Sehingga debu atau kotoran dapat mudah tersedot.

b) Mouse

Prosedur membersihkan mouse dari debu :

• Gunakan lap dan cairan pembersih kotoran atau debu yang menempel pada bola maupun poros pada mouse.
• Bersihkan secara perlahan bola dan roda mouse secara perlahan

c) Monitor

Prosedur membersihkan monitor :

• Gunakan kuas kecil atau vacum cleaner dengan ujung sikat kecil untuk membersihkan debu.

• Untuk membersihkan monitor dari kotoran cair yang menempel pada layar, gunakan cairan pembersih kemudian dilap dengan kain kering. Terutama pada bagian sudut dari layar.

d) Printer
Prosedur perawatan printer :
• Gunakan kain lembab untuk membersihkan printer. Jangan menggunakan cairan yang mudah terbakar seperti alkohol, bensin atau thinner. Bila cairan yang mudah terbakar berhubungan dengan komponen elektrik di dalam printer maka dapat mengakibatkan kebakaran atau hubung singkat. Selalu lepaskan printer dari stop kontak pada saat printer dibersihkan.
• Jangan meletakkan printer di tempat yang tidak stabil atau mudah terkena getaran atau
goncangan. Printer dapat terjatuh dan mengalami kerusakan.
• Jangan meletakkan printer di tempat yang lembab atau berdebu, yang langsung terkena
matahari atau dekat dengan sumber panas atau api.

III. Memeriksa hasil perawatan periferal

Tool yang digunakan utuk mengecek peripheral :

a) Device Manager
Device manager digunakan untuk mengetahui keadaan secara menyeluruh. Untuk menampilkannya: klik kanan pada my computer  properties, kemudian pilih tab hardware  device manager. Dari tampilan Device manager dapat diketahui semua hardware yang terpasang pada PC . Tool ini dapat digunakan untuk disable/enable hardware yang dipasang dan juga untuk uninstall driver maupun update driver. Device manager juga dapat memberikan informasi apakah periferal tersebut sudah terinstall drivernya dengan baik atau belum. Apabila periferal tersebut belum terinstall dengan sempurna, maka akan terdapat simbol “!” pada periferal tersebut.

b) System Information

System information digunakan untuk mengetahui informasi bagian hardware. Untuk memanggil tool ini klik start programacessories system tools system information. Akan didapatkan tampilan seperti gambar berikut.

. Tool System information ini dilengkapi dengan fungsi cari yang berfungsi untuk memudahkan pencarian komponen dalam komputer. Selain itu tool ini dilengkapi juga dengan fasilitas yang mampu digunakan untuk mendiagnosa jaringan, hardware dan file system.

c) Direct X

DirectX merupakan tool bawaan windows yang digunakan untuk mendiagnosa semua hardware yang berhubungan dengan grafis, network dan multimedia. Tool DirectX dapat juga dipanggil dari tool system information.

Tampilan tool DirectX terdiri dari tiga bagian yaitu Device, driver, feature dan note. Dengan tool DirextX dapat diketahui ada tidaknya trouble pada periferal yang terpasang. Tool ini sangat mudah digunakan untuk mengetes kemampuan resolusi monitor, kemampuan dukungan 3D.

d) Printer Tool
Tool yang digunakan untuk perawatan printer dapat menggunakan software dari vendornya. Pada laporan ini menggunakan printer dengan merk Cannon S200Spx. Berikut tool yang digunakan untuk mendiagnosis printer.
• Cleaning dan deep cleaning digunakan untuk membersihkan head dari tinta yang menghambat jarum head printer.
• Nozzle check digunakan untuk mengecek pola dari head printer, cara ini digunakan jika pola printer mengalami permasalahan.

• Print Head alinggment digunakan untuk memperbaiki posisi head printer jika mengalami penyimpangan.
• Ink Counter Reset, digunakan untuk mereset indicator tinta agar penuh kembali. Tool ini digunakan apabila telah dilakukan pengisian tinta.

• Low Ink Warning Setting digunakan untuk menampilkan pesan atau warning jika kondisi tinta hampir habis.

• Customs Setting digunakan untuk operation mode printer dalam mengatur lama tidaknya waktu tunggu sampai tinta kering. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk mengatur kecepatan mencetak untuk tiap lembarnya jika waktu pengeringan tinta di percepat.

IV. Melakukan Tindakan Korektif dan Melaporkan Hasil Perawatan Periferal

1) Tindakan korektif

Tindakan korektif dimaksudkan sebagai langkah awal yang diambil untuk mengatasi kondisi abnormal. Gejala abnormal pada periferal dapat diketahui dari pesan kesalahan dalam komputer. Tindakan korektif yang perlu dilakukan adalah dengan mengenali pesan kesalahan yang muncul. Kemudian dari pesan kesalahan tersebut dapat diisolasi ke dalam lingkup yang lebih kecil, misal pada bagian input atau pada bagian driver-nya. Selanjutnya kita dapat menentukan langkah-langkah perbaikan.

2) Penyusunan laporan

Setiap terjadi kerusakan atau maintenance pada sebuah periferal perlu dilakukan pencatatan atau pembuatan laporan.

This is something I created September 26, 2009. I got inspired listening to Sugarland and this is what resulted. I just thought I would share it with the world. And yes, this is me.

N.W.A. [which stands for Niggaz With Attitudes] is the ILLEST rap group ever, in my opinion. They weren’t afraid to tell their story of life in California. They were often censored from the air because of their ‘no holds barred’ lyrics.The subject matter that most music artists were putting out around that time weren’t relateable. N.W.A. was a sound that you could listen to and say to yourself, “That happened the other day.”

But I believe that they just had the balls to say what was really going on in the world instead of sugar coating it like the news does these days. They were RAW and you can feel the pain, struggle and hurt in their lyrics.

I love their music. Absolutely LOVE it. I love it for the simple fact that it is revealing the brutality hidden from the world, that is still hapenning today.

Her caretaker, Mr. Mathew, a reputed psychologist was reported to be missing on the 2nd of June 2005.According to the local sources, a body was found in the dumping yard of the same apartment where Ms. Della Street had recently shifted to. It was suspected as murder by local people, who had reported the same to the police yesterday. The police suggested an autopsy to be done and the reports reveal that the body belongs to Mr. Mathew. “Ms. Della Street’s condition is also getting worsen. She speaks volumes about something unusual and abnormal, related to Mr. Mathew’ s death”, the doctors say. More details after the break”, a daily news reporter spoke in a husky tone .It was very unbelievable yet interesting to Julia Silverstone, a 26 yr attractive, bold and intelligent, woman who rested on a lazy bag watching the idiot box.   She is a dusky, young, not a little changed person since her teens, who does not believe in super-natural things. Working for a MNC, she finds 2 days a week to laze down and she manages not to waste those days working and running around the kitchen in the morning, as she always does, the rest of the days. She fags a lot but tries not to, at least on weekends, as suggested by her physician. Her modus Vivendi is modernized. She is contemporary yet conservative. She had many affairs in the past but dumped every man, to find her Mr. Perfect. She hardly had any friends. There’s nobody who truly cares a damn about her. Her  loneliness probably had taught her to deal with the world and filled a dare-devil streak in her. She is satisfied with everything life had offered to her. But the only thing which constantly nags her mind is that she needed someone to accompany her throughout her life’s journey, a truthful and a compassionate partner to share her life and self with.

She kept tuning the channels continuously to watch something interesting and fell asleep sometime in the midnight, soon forgetting about the news.

The postmortem report says that Mr. Mathew had a deep cut injury on his head and was murdered very badly. None of his organs were in place and neither of his limbs was in position. His eyeballs hanging out, face reddened as if, blood trying to force out in a quick splash. Not a single clue on any of the things that could help in the investigation was found. Mr. Mathew was a pleasing person and a happy man. Being a psychologist, he had a way with harsh people and would never hurt anybody. His presence always fills the surroundings with laughter, smiles and giggles. He’s a short, dignified and a stout man, resembling more like a potato wearing eye glasses. But very few knew his seriousness. He’s a strict professional.

When the radiance of the first ray of sun quietly fell on her cheeks, Julia slowly opened her eyes, struggling to wake up. She likes the sun rise very much especially watching it through her attic. She lives in the 50th floor of “Hill View” apartments, some 20 miles from ‘111’. As usual, she made coffee, breakfast, got ready, took her keys and closed the door, locked it, checked it twice and went to the elevator. Jason, who lived next to her flat always had a fascination for her. He specially got attracted to her magnetic body language and attitude, which made many males go weak in the knees. He waited beside her, for the elevator to reach their floor. 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 and they both got in. 49, 48, 47, 46…. ‘Hey!’ said Jason, expressing his enthusiasm in talking to her. ‘Hey!’ Julia responded. And there is a long silence between both.

He is a boring personality, complete contrast to Julia. The elevator came down to 1 and 0, and they got out, moved along the cellar and took to their jobs. Within this boring personality, there lay an interesting and a loyal person and also a wonderful human, exactly the way Julia wished her man to be like.

“He is Mr. Daniel, special officer who came down from New York, to handle Mr. Mathew’s case and he is Mr. Ben, a private detective and a helper to Mr. Daniel”, introduced a senior police officer to a local officer. They shook hands and sat down to discuss the case. Daniel studied the case thoroughly and thought about it for a long time in his office, smoking 8 to 10 butts of cigars. He is a black, a long and heavy man, with lot of strength and good physique. He thought about, how to initiate the investigation. By then, telephone rang and he picked it up after the 6th ring and, “hello! Daniel speaking, who’s that?” “Forget about the case and return back to NY”, said a female voice. “Or u will see the same end, as Mr. Mathew saw”. Without waiting for the reply the caller disconnected. Now, Daniel’s initiation problem solved. The caller gave a chance to Daniel to start from there. Daniel soon called up to the telephone enquiry dept. “Hello! This is Daniel, a special police officer, calling from the head quarters; can u give me the number of the caller who just called up here? It is very urgent. It’d help us in an investigation. Hurry up!” “Yes sir, please wait for a moment”, a polite voice replied. She checked and read out the number, “222-041-250”. He noted it down on his palm, not finding a piece of paper around. “Thank you very much” said Daniel and called up  Mr. Ben, asking him to quickly come to his office, with his laptop, which had snaps of local murderers.

I commented on one of the posts vatsap wrote today about – the world never needed anything. It inflamed the burning desire rick-rocketing in me from quite a few days now.

Everyone is looking for the answer – Where did the humans come from? What is our origin. We are building trillion dollar particle colliders to understand the “GOD” particles and another multi-trilion dollars in formulating( and then crushing) theories and insights into where we came from. We are looking at every deep-corner of the universe and waiting for signals from the outer-universe to tell us that we are not alone.

There are a counless number of movies with aliens coming to earth to smash it in thousand-million pieces just for fun!!! Aren’t we doing the same!!!

Just look around – pick up the newspaper, look at the carbon footprint, look at your own house and look at the population.

Now try finding out the data on how many harmful-microbes are required to kill a supporting organism(human being)? I am quite certain that a billion should do just fine to knock you off within a few-err-minutes.

Humans devouring earth!!!

I think we are the exzct same bacteria- virus-fungi-protozoa especially designed to kill our supporting organism( the goddamn – god forsaken planet). We are deisgned to destruct, devour and demolish. We have all the traits of an unanhilliatable pandemic virus. We consume resources at rapid pace, we multiply at even faster pace and we are very innovative to think of new ways to invent new methods to enervate and demolish a whole new set of resources.

On top of it we have the social structure and the professional paradigm. Right from the day we are born, knowingly and unknowingly, we are taught to feed up on the system. We are supposed to have everything that everyone else has. Everyone wants to have the highest amount of resources under his control. We race toe-to-toe and shoulder-to-shoulder with each other trying to race past each other in the competition of who can burn-up some extra resources to earn extra points.

And to top it all we are doing great. The job assigned to us is going at a real-fast pace if we compare the life-period of a human to that of the universe where among the trillil-to-the-power-trillion it will take a few light-years to reach the nearest star we are nothing more than a microbe.

A microbe that’s eating up everything and dying.

PS : If we look into the future, probably we will develop the technology enough to leave the planet earth and reach atleast the nearest planet and devour it and keep moving on. Now i really want to know who sent us organic-robots to earth.

After clearing IIT-JEE and then getting into IIT Madras I have been running almost aimless without any constraints doing anything and everything that this wandering mind aspired and allowed me to do. I did some of those things well screwed up a lot others, and here i am finally decided about my coming years. I am very happy and proud of myself that atleast i kept learning things when i was aimless.Well no more. I am decided, and ready the hit the bulls eye, and the bulls eye is:

The Indian shipping & Offshore industry is growing at a brisk pace after certain changes in the government policies and also due to surge in the amount of International trade exchange that is taking place.  Also India is also bestowed with the cheap labour Industry and a very large coastline, thus the opportunities in the Manufacturing Industry are very broad and are only limited by one’s imagination.I am very lucky to be a naval architect at this point of time and will leave no stones unturned to capitalize on this opportunity.How?

Envision and identify the coming trends in offshore engineering and ship design. Eg. Deep sea exploration. Read journals and build network with alumni and other known personalities in the field and use their knowledge and vision to look for possible problems and explore the possible solutions.

Well it’s not a one man job. I understand up to a certain extent the uncertainties and the expanse of the work. I will need help and that too a good one. I will need pure and beautiful minds to rub their shoulder with me. My ego might be a hampering factor. I am truly working on that part already. The completion of the task should be the only goal. This task will require extreme moral, intellectual and physical discipline. i am weak on all the three presently and there is ample inspiration inside of me to overcome these small flaws. I am Anuj Choudhary. The one who is born to be different.

No product can create a revolution unless it’s market friendly. To say better, worth commercializing and socially acceptable. The technology and the passion to do something new have to be complemented by the above mentioned factors. Remember it’s only  the winners who create history. I have to look only so far that others can see it is feasible though with marvelously herculean efforts. True success lies in the two fronged approach of

Explore the possibility of using the web as a platform to build and publish naval solutions for the potential clients.This have to be done alone for quite some time until i find some worthy partners. Well it’s a combination of certain things i want to do and a platform where i aspire to see myself in the coming future. Yes i am finally thinking long term after a huge gap.Richa knows it already.Parents will be told about it after inception. She had palyed a very vital role in the whole shaping up, though unknowingly and that’s one of the things i love her so madly for.I am not leaving her for anything.Behind every succesful there is an inspiring woman. Indeed!!
