While waiting for the bus I tried to get some shots that show how busy the High Street is around this time and something “typical Oxford”.

It was a bit difficult to get a handheld shot at 1/4 sec in all manual mode (my lens is an old manual one) but i think this turned out surprisingly clear.

And as a bonus it shows a bus, a bike and a crazy bus rushing by.

Today was very hectic at work and I didn’t see anything worth taking a picture of all day.

It was the kind of day when you forget to eat and drink and you end up at home after work and there’s nothing nicer than a cold glass of water with some lime in it.

We all headed up to Rose for the free rail jam on Saturday, and to our surprise had probably the most fun day of skiing this year. This was the best idea of a contest they ever had. Also the park features weren’t butchered as always and were made correctly. However, the judging was a little skewed. None of us went to the rider’s meeting so we all ended up with no score because we didn’t know you had to hit every feature in the lane to get a score. We just hiked every individual rail until we got our best tricks. All the skiers rode great and none of us even placed. It was dope too because we all learned new rail tricks or did some we haven’t done in a while. Here are some pictures i took at the end.

We were on the way to Bicester today to get some of that Christmas shopping out of the way.

Slightly out of focus but it turned out better than the other ones.

Manual focus lenses are fun but it takes some getting used to in difficult (shaky) environments.

Here’s another one I like:

photography has been rapidly becoming a more serious hobby.  i love that i can sometimes capture emotion and beauty in an instant and save it forever.  i tend to take random photos of things that people would not normally find beautiful.  a friend told me once that she could feel emotion from my photography & i love that.

my friends have gotten used to me having my tiny camera attached to my hand.  i want to learn how to develop my own film.  first, i need to buy a more professional camera because i get amazingly frustrated about what i cannot capture with my current one.

As it turns out, I took a very similar one almost exactly a year ago during my first 365 project:

…and by the looks of things, I haven’t improved much as a photographer and actually got worse in the last year. But I’d like to think that today’s photo just looks miserable because this morning was miserable. Let’s just pretend that’s the case…

Have you flown in or out of SFO and noticed this woman at check-in? She’s somewhat a tribute to the legendary San Francisco show Beach Blanket Babylon. She’s there to wish you well on your trip or welcome you home.

This weekend, I’m off to visit friends in Seattle, so I’ll be sure to stop by and say hey to her while I’m at the airport.

non è che il risultato finale mi faccia impazzire (anche perchè a levà tutti i difetti me so magnata un pò de luce sfanculando leggermente la prospettiva) (ma come cazzo parlo…), anche se quando avevo 16 anni i miei capelli erano proprio così, blu e scoloriti (e valla a trovare la tinta ai pigmenti blu nella calafrica del ‘99, quando ancora oggi te fanno le meches co lo scolapasta in testa).

vabbè, daje co sto primo piano di un brutto imbarazzante, che ritrae la sottoscritta durante un hangover della madonna, generato da 2 serate metal, na notte di pafffione, dai molti spinotti (come li chiama mia nonna) e dalla molta birra circolata nel suo povero corpo. l’espressione da rincojonita non sono riuscita a toglierla.
