<p><strong>Breakfast</strong>: milk and oat gran, vanilla yogurt</p>
<p><strong>Lunch</strong>: meat ball and sausages with mustard and fromage frais</p>
<p><strong>Snack</strong>: Dukan muffin with sweetener (not a good idea, I got so hungry afterwards!)</p>
<p><strong>Dinner</strong>: Dukan muffin (since it is not sweet at all) with fromage frais, scrambled egg with low fat ham, vanilla yogurt.</p>
<p><strong>Activity</strong>: Running 30 min.</p>
<p>Not a good day today, I have to study a lot and I am feeling hungry the whole time. I think I have to reduce the amount of sweetener I am taking, I guess that is what is making me hungry. Good thing that I can eat vegetables tomorrow again. I am drinking a lot of milk and tea lately, but I think I will return to water, since I hardly make 2 liters a  day. I think pure water is better than anything else.</p>

<p><strong>Late Dinner</strong>: I tried Dukan Muffins (oat gran, wheat gran, egg whites, cococa powder, sweetener) &#8211; AND: they tasted horrible, such a disappointment!</p>
<p>I am feeling quite hungry today, I don&#8217;t know why. But I am so happy with all the dukan food. I don&#8217;t have that much cravings for starky food anymore. And with my self-made cocoa I am very content too.</p>

Plus I have almost no jeans that I can wear anymore, they are all too big now. It truely must be that after having excercised my body either gains muscles or retains more water (or I drink more water, therefore increasing weight). According to my true weight calculator I only have 12 more days to be on the Cruise Phase. But only if I am under 9 stone I will actually start with the Consolidation Phase.</p>

<p>I was feeling extremely tired this day. Probably because I woke up really early and had to work a lot. But still, I am continously feeling kind of weak. It is starting to annoy me. I hope that it will get better once I have more time off. Fortunately my cravings for starky food have reduced and now I am actually feeling pretty happy with the meals I am eating. And I think I am starting to become a better cook <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  too.</p>

<p><strong>Activity</strong>: 1.5 hours of aerobics</p>
<p>I actually wanted to do a PV day today, but I did not have time to eat that much. I am drinking more water and feeling less hungry. Also, my cravings for sweets have reduced. If I get them now I drink chai latte with sweetener. Works perfect. I will have to go shopping tomorrow and get new yogurts. Soon is my birthday and I am planning to celebrate it in the consolidation phase. I don&#8217;t want to ruin everything. It is working so good now. I am not even missing the alcohol (I feel smarter since it is not destroying my neurons, haha <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  ). I already know that I am going to go for a big brunch with my friends in the consolidation phase. I am already excited about it.</p>
<p>I am also feeling less tired and happier. I think the body finally got used to it not getting any carbs. We shall see if it continues this way (I do hope so).</p>

<p>There was a birthday party today, with alcoholic drinks and barbecue. But I was able to resist all that. It is kind of hard staying on Dukan when everybody is closely watching what you eat and when.</p>

<p>According to the true weight calculator I am supposed to stay in the cruise phase around 30 days. You can either do 1/1, 5/5 or 2/5 alternating vegetable and protein days (PV) and pure protein (PP) days. I decided to go for the 2/5 combination (2 days pure protein and 5 days vegetable and protein). I decided to do so because it is very hard for me eating pure protein every day. Since I am very busy it is hard to cook all the time, so my meals aren&#8217;t that creative. I do not have that much weight to lose, so according to Dukan this should work too. Now the amount of oat gran increases to 2 tablespoons per day.</p>
<p><strong>Breakfast</strong>: yogurt, oat gran</p>
<p><strong>Snack</strong>: egg + peppers</p>
<p><strong>Lunch</strong>: salad + shrimps, vanilla yogurt</p>

<p>I felt no clear difference waking up today, okay my scales said 9.6 Stones, but since it is not a very precise one, I am not so sure about that. It is quite hard for me to stay only on proteins, I have a lot of cravings for a huge salad. But since my attack phase only lasts 2-3 days, I will follow it trough.</p>

<p><strong>Breakfast</strong>: 2 eggs and coffee. I first tried having the oat gran in the cottage cheese, but I kind of did not like it that much, so I decided to throw it away and eat some eggs. The oat gran really makes you feel full!</p>
<p><strong>Lunch</strong>: 3 eggs, smoked salmon and coffee.</p>
<p><strong>Dinner</strong>: turkey breast</p>
<p><strong>Activity</strong>: 1,5 hours aerobics</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is this new diet in France, that seems to work just fine and keeps you from regaining lost pounds. It is called after a French doctor, Dukan. It is basically a protein diet, but not something like Atkins (Atkins lets you eat a lot of fat). The Dukan Diet consists of 4 phases: the first two phases make you lose weight and the last ones make you keep the lost weight at a constant level. If you want to learn more about it go to<a href="http://www.dukandiet.co.uk"> dukandiet.co.uk</a> or <a href="http://www.dukandiet.com">dukandiet.com</a> or google &#8220;Dukan Diet&#8221;. Starting tomorrow I will try to follow Dukans magic and restrictive rules. This means I will start with the first phase for 3 days (the first phase is called Attack and it lasts between 1-10 days depending on your initial weight). As calculated on the website I will reach my target weight around the end of July of this year.</p>
<p>My inital weight: 62 kg / around 136 pounds / around 9.7 stone</p>
<p>Target weight: 55-57 kg</p>
<p>Height: 165cm / 5&#8217;5</p>
<p><strong>Attack Phase:</strong></p>
<p>You are allowed to eat as much as you want of pure protein: eggs, non-fat dairy product, meats (depending on how fatty they are), all kinds of fish, etc. You are supposed to eat 1,5 spoons of oat bran every day. There are a lot of recipes and sugggestions for meals in Dukan&#8217;s book to make it bearable. Dukan says, that you are not supposed to feel hungry during this phase. And you should drink 1.5 l water a day. I will try to report on a regular basis. Plus, you should walk at least 20 minutes a day.</p>
