I just listen to Nabucco – chorus of hebrew slaves.. and when music is indeed an indication for mood it might be the case: After being the whole day on the run coming home knowing that still one has not even touched the office work lying and waiting – one feels like one of those slaves yearning for a bit of relaxation and freedom. Meetings and a talk to our HOPE Cape Town staff was part of the days work. We published for the first time an internal employee’s handbook. After being so long in business as an NGO and having 27 employees it is time to bring together all the legal stuff and ethics for a work in this field. What are the do’s and don’ts? What means to be honest? How do I handle situation of danger? What means fraud? How do I handle donations?

There are so many challenges an NGO like HOPE Cape Town is facing up the question how we go about working place problems, what are the right channel of communications and so on and so on. HOPE Cape Town is meanwhile also a place for training. People are trained here, work for some years but then also moving on. So the “family structure” of HOPE Cape Town is also changing eventually with new people coming in. This makes it more important than ever to have a booklet to give guidance .
But todays talk was not only about the rules and regulations – we also talked about being proud to be part of such an organisation. What does it mean to identify with the organisation you are working for? How do we present ourselves to show our bond with the goals and achievements of HOPE Cape Town. Important topics and for me the possibility to touch base again with most HOPE Community Health Workers at the same time. I promised to get to all working places in the 17 township communities in the first half-year of 2010 again to visit them all in their daily environment. And I must say  I am looking forward to it. I guess, I learn a lot in doing so.

Le président syrien Bachar el-Assad vient d’inaugurer  un nouveau tronçon d’un gazoduc qui reliera la Jordanie à la Turquie, a partir de la ville de Homs en Syrie. C’est en 2002, que ce projet, qui  rassemble l’Egypte, le Liban, la Syrie et la Jordanie, avance, comme en a témoigné l’inauguration le 18 novembre 2009 par  le président Bachar el-Assad d’un tronçon de gazoduc qui reliera la Jordanie à la Turquie, sur une longueur de 320 kms. Cette nouvelle centrale gazière d’Al-Rayan, que Bachar el-Assad a inauguré a été construite par la compagnie russe StroyTransgaz.  Elle permettra d’exploiter trois champs gaziers d’une capacité de 7,56 millions de mètres cubes/jour.Sofiane al-Ala  ministre du pétrole et des ressources minières de la république arabe syrienne, a déclaré  que cette infrastructure permettrait aux pays qui  sont partie prenante de réaliser une “intégration économique arabe”, surtout si ce gazoduc est par la suite relié à l’Irak et au reste des pays du Golfe. Le gazoduc arabe, ou Arab gas pipeline, a l’ambition de transporter plus de 10 milliards de m3 de gaz naturel par an, provenant au départ d’Egypte, vers les pays voisins inclus dans le projet.Une fois terminé le gazoduc arabe ou Arab gas pipeline,  devrait permettre l’approvisionnement en gaz du Liban, à hauteur de 1,5 milliards de m3, de 3 milliards de m3 vers la Jordanie, et de 2 milliards de m3 vers la Syrie. Le premier tronçon reliant l’Egypte à la Jordanie, est achevé depuis 2004, pour un montant total de 160 milliards d’euros. En 2005 une seconde portion du gazoduc a été construite entre Aqaba, au sud de la Jordanie, et la frontière syrienne, pour un montant de 200 milliards d’euros. Il reste à installer la partie qui reliera le gazoduc à la Turquie. ll faut maintenant passer à la réalisation de la connexion entre le gazoduc arabe et le gazoduc Nabucco, et qui doit être terminé en 2013,  ce qui permettrait à l’Europe de bénéficier de ces importantes ressources gazières.

Acte I. Jérusalem. Le temple de Salomon. Les Hébreux supplient Jéhovah de leur venir en aide face aux troupes babyloniennes. Le grand prêtre Zaccaria qui a pris en otage Fenena, la fille de Nabucco, le roi de Babylone, excite la ferveur de son peuple. Fenena sera la garantie de la paix entre hébreux et babyloniens. Mais le neveu du roi des hébreux, Ismael annonce l’avancée des troupes babyloniennes. Les hébreux sont prêts à se défendre. Ismael se retrouve seul avec Fenena: ils chantent leur amour réciproque et sont prêts à s’enfuir ensemble. Nabucco surgit dans le temple. Zaccaria menace de tuer Fenena, s’il ne capitule pas. Mais Ismael s’interpose et empêche le grand prêtre de tuer la jeune fille. Nabucco peut ainsi reprendre sous son aile sa fille, piller le temple et emprisonner les hébreux et leur meneur…

Acte II. L’impie. Nabucco, omnipotent à Babylone, désigne sa fille recouvrée, Fenena pour diriger le royaume des vainqueurs. Mais il ne sait pas qu’elle s’est convertie à la religion juive. Abigaille dévoile son appétit de puissance tout en ne cachant pas sa naissance adultérine. Alors qu’il se déclare l’égal de Dieu, Nabucco est foudroyé par le tonnerre. Il devient fou. Abigaille en profite pour prendre le pouvoir.

Acte III. La prophétie. Abigaille réalisera le voeu de Nabucco: exterminer le peuple hébreu. Sur les bords de l’Euphrate, le peuple soumis pleure la patrie lointaine (célèbre choeur “va pensiero”…). Zacaria prédit l’imminence du châtiment divin.

Acte IV. L’idôle renversée. Nabucco comprend que Fenena périra avec le peuple dont elle a épousé la foi. Le roi parvient à se resaisir et délivrer sa fille. Un miracle fait tomber la statue de Baal, le dieu des babyloniens.  Nabucco pardonne aux juifs et permet leur retour dans leur terre. Abigaille , coupable et repentante, met fin à ses jours, en implorant le pardon de Fenena.

La semaine dernière, la Slovénie, membre de l’UE, annonçait son adhésion au projet South Stream qui boucle ainsi le futur gazoduc qui permettra au gaz russe de contourner l’Ukraine et d’arriver au cœur de l’Europe. La Slovénie ferait-elle cavalier seul alors qu’un autre projet Nabucco, est officiellement soutenu par l’UE dans le but de diminuer la dépendance énergétique européenne envers la Russie ?

Un gaz nécessaire à l’Europe

Aujourd’hui, le gaz couvre 25% de nos besoins en énergie. C’est une énergie flexible, peu couteuse (subventionnée en France) qui se trouve à nos portes. Nous utilisons ainsi les ressources de la Norvège, de l’Algérie et de la Russie non seulement pour produire de l’électricité mais aussi pour notre chauffage, pour nos voitures et bien sûr pour la cuisine. Comme les écologistes refusent le nucléaire et que les énergies renouvelables ne peuvent répondre à l’augmentation de nos besoins, le gaz reste indispensable. Ainsi, selon Eurogas (The European Union of the Natural Gas Industry), l’Union européenne devrait voir passer ses besoins en gaz, de 440 millions de tonnes d’équivalent pétrole actuellement, à 625 millions de tonnes en 2030. Avec l’épuisement des gisements de la mer du Nord, l’importation de gaz seule permettra de répondre à cette demande.

L’UE est trop dépendante du gaz russe

Le gaz russe est en effet à l’origine de 12,5% de la consommation énergétique européenne. Mais cet approvisionnement n’est pas sécurisé. A tout moment la Russie peut décider de couper les vannes qui passent par l’Ukraine ou la Biélorussie si un différend survient. Les coupures de l’hiver 2006 en sont un exemple flagrant. Pour réduire sa dépendance envers le gaz russe, l’UE a soutenu le projet Nabucco développé par de 5 pays de l’UE et la Turquie, un gazoduc à 8 milliards d’euros pour relier la mer Caspienne à l’Autriche donnant ainsi accès au gaz du Caucase et de l’Asie centrale. Avec sa mise en service prévue en 2014, Nabucco doit pouvoir apporter 31 milliards de m³ de gaz par an soit 7% de la demande gazière européenne.

Mais quel gaz faire transiter dans ce tuyau ?

C’est bien là la principale faille de ce projet.

• Les réserves du Caucase et de l’Asie centrale ne représentent que 15% des réserves russes. Il faudra encore installer un gazoduc au fond de la mer Caspienne.
• L’Asie centrale et le Caucase restent sous influence russe. Le voyage de Sarkozy au Kazakhstan en octobre dernier n’y fera rien, ces pays préfèrent livrer leur gaz à la Russie comme le montre l’accord entre l’Azerbaïdjan et la Russie signé en 2008.
• Les Turques essayent de monnayer leur participation dans Nabucco contre l’intégration dans l’UE. Par exemple, la Turquie a refusé l’entrée de GDF-Suez dans le projet.
• Pour le gaz irakien, il reste à régler le problème des Kurdes qui contrôlent les régions du Nord de l’Irak, riches en gaz.
• Enfin, il est pour l’instant exclu que l’Iran nous fournisse les mètres cubes manquants pour remplir Nabucco.

Encore un exemple de division entre Européens

Ce n’est pas le premier et ce ne sera sûrement pas le dernier.

Face à un acteur unique, Gazprom, contrôlé par l’Etat russe, les Européens doivent apparaître unis pour négocier sur un pied d’égalité. Malheureusement, chaque pays et chaque compagnie a sa politique : franchement hostile ou plutôt conciliante. Certains jouent même sur les deux tableaux pour être sûrs de miser sur le cheval gagnant. On remarquera que ce sont ces derniers qui profiteraient le plus de l’ouverture de Nabucco (90% du gaz consommé par la Bulgarie est russe).

Concilier les deux projets ?

Pouvons-nous passer à côté de la Russie qui possède plus d’un quart des réserves mondiales de gaz ? C’est une source d’énergie dont nous aurions tort de nous priver : plutôt bon marché, à nos portes alors que le prix du pétrole flambe.

La Russie a déjà obtenu des accords pour son projet North Stream en mer Baltique. Le South Stream est en bonne voie et le Blue Stream doit envoyer du gaz russe directement vers la Turquie. De plus, Gazprom va participer au développement du terminal pétrolier à l’issue du gazoduc Nabucco en Autriche.

Au lieu de nous braquer, nous pourrions profiter de l’occasion pour développer avec les Russes le projet South Stream tout en développant des branches annexes venant du Caucase et de l’Asie centrale qui permettront d’aider à remplir South Stream. Une coopération sur un pied d’égalité avec les Russes n’est pas impossible. Il faut simplement parler d’une même voix qu’elle vienne des Etats ou des compagnies d’énergie, et faire valoir le fait que l’Europe représente 42% des exportations de gaz russe.

De plus, les Russes ont besoin des investissements européens pour développer l’exploitation des gisements de la Sibérie. Aucun gisement n’a été mis en exploitation depuis près de 20 ans, et les Européens pourraient participer aux 300 milliards de dollars nécessaires d’ici 2020 pour tenir les objectifs du gouvernement russe (contre une dizaine de milliards par an actuellement).

L’Europe et la Russie sont donc forcées de coopérer. La meilleure solution serait que les Européens apparaissent unis face à Gazprom et développe Nabucco comme un embranchement de South Stream (ou inversement) en direction de l’Asie centrale.

Astăzi mi-a atras atenţia un articol de pe Hotnews.ro care prelua cele mai importante afirmatii pe care Zbigniew Brzezinski le-a făcut în cadrul unui interviu în Republica Cehă. Principalele sale afirmatii au fost urmatoarele:

• a criticat Rusia pentru incercarile sale de a-si recapata puterea prin preluarea controlului in companii strategice din sistemul energetic, spre exemplu. Oamenii n-ar trebui insa sa dramatizeze problema si ar trebui sa se gandeasca ca este responsabilitatea lor sa rezolve problemele. N-ar trebui ca oamenii sa se astepte ca altii sa le rezolve problemele
• a afirmat ca a prognozat inca din 1968 dezintegrarea sistemului comunist, dupa ce trupele sovietice si cele din Pactul de la Varsovia au invadat Cehoslovacia. Brzezinski a spus ca atunci a afirmat ca acela a fost inceputul sfarsitului pentru sistemul comunist, din cauza ca disensiunile interne erau evidente si aveau efecte devastatoare
• a spus ca cehoslovacii nu aveau o “atitudine revolutionara” evidenta, precum ungurii sau polonezii. Brzezinski a spus insa ca a vizitat Cehoslovacia in primavara anului 1968, iar contextul politic era foarte “intens”
• relatiile actuale ale SUA cu Polonia si Republica Cehia nu difera fata de cele existente in urma cu doi ani, in ciuda faptului ca noua administratie americana a decis sa nu mai instaleze un radar in Cehia si interceptoare de rachete in Polonia
• a afirmat ca este o realitate ca politica externa a SUA vizeaza acum cu precadere zona Pacificului, in detrimentul Europei. “Suprematia Occidentului asupra restului lumii este in plin declin, insa nu pentru ca Occidentul isi pierde valabilitatea, ci pentru ca Asia este in ascensiune”, a afirmat Brzezinski
• relatiile SUA cu China sunt caracterizate de cooperare, iar americanii si chinezii rezolva impreuna probleme importante: Coreea de Nord, dosarul nuclear iranian, dependenta financiara etc. “Este pur si simplu o chestiune de responsabilitate publica”.

Din tot contextul interviului, punctul forte al acestor afirmaţii gravitează în jurul văicărelii ţărilor est-europene în ceea ce priveşte politica agresivă a Rusiei. Lucru cu care sunt perfect de acord. E greu sa vorbesc în numele tuturor tarilor est-europene, dar vorbesc in numele Romaniei. Dupa 20 de ani de la caderea comunismului politicienii români şi est europeni ar trebui să aibe prestanţă, verticalitate, să nu plece urechea la orice mârâit al lui Medvedev.

Când America a renunţat la radarul in Cehia şi instalatiile anti-racheta din Polonia toţiau început să urle, chiar şi în presa românească, “America ne-atrădat” s.a.m.d. Ceea ce vreau să sesizez este faptul că atunci când SUA au decis să renunţe la acele instalaţii, răspunsul Rusiei a venit prompt: a renunţat şi Rusia la instalaţii similare în apropierea Poloniei pe teritoriul Belorusiei. Nimeni nu a comentat mişcarea Rusiei, deşi a fost salutară.

În ceea ce priveşte politica externă, ţările est-europene (o parte din ele cel putin) fac parte din UE. Conform tratatului de la Lisabona care intra în vigoare de la 1 decembrie 2009, UE va avea un ministru de externe, prin urmare, UE va avea o politică externă bine definită, ceea ce nu exclude impotanţa politicii externe a fiecăre ţări în parte.

Est-europenii au însă darul de a aştepta mereu să le rezolve alţii problemele pe care le-ar putea rezolva chiar ei. Rusia duce o politică agresivă pe plan economic? Foarte bine, de ce nu se pun tările est-europene să facă un plan comun de combatere a acestei agresivităţi economice? Există, pe de altă parte nenumărate programe energetice care tin să minimalizeze importanţa Rusiei în acest aspect: ex Nabucco, South Stream.

Noi îi aşteptăm încă din al doilea război pe americani. Ioan Gavrilă Ogoranu îi aştepta pe când făcea rezistenţă armată în munţii Făgăraşului, iar noi continuăm să-i aşteptăm cotcodăcind şi văicărindu-ne pe la porţile străine.

Îmi vin acum în minte toate problemele iscate în Republica Moldova, teritoriul care va ieşi foarte curând de sub influenţa “marelui URSS”. Dintre toţi politicienii români, în acele momente, cel mai vertical şi cu picioarele bine înfitpe în pământ a fost Traian Băsescu (ceea ce nu înseamnă că îl voi vota ). Nu s-a sfiit să susţină opoziţia liberală de la Chişinău. În schimb Geoană a mers la Moscova cu capul plecat şi limba scoasă ca să “normalizeze relaţiile cu Rusia”. De normalizat da, dar asta nu trebuie să însemne plecarea capului. Contrar proverbului, capul plecat la un moment dat va fi tăiat!

NorthStream, SouthStream, Nabucco. Apparenze da guerra fredda:  la nuova sfida energetica ha diversi giocatori e altrettanti campi di gioco.

In terminazione il gasdotto Northstream, probabilmente in funzione dal 2010, porterà sotto il mar Baltico il gas Russo sino in Germania. Senza intermediari. Da tempo la Germania rappresenta uno dei maggiori investitori in Russia. La stessa Porsche a suo tempo era stata tra i primi a capire questo nuovo mercato e a costruirci uno stabilimento produttivo per le sue carrera. Ora la Cancelliera Merkel porta a termine un importante progetto energetico a braccetto con l’ex Schröder, ora  a capo della società – russa al 51% – costruttrice del gasdotto.

Il percorso del gasdotto

Intanto sul mar Nero si pensa a posare i tubi a 2000m di profondità, con la sicurezza del gas Turkmeno.

Primo nato del gruppo di nuovi gasdotti russi sarà già in funzione dal nuovo anno mentre nell’altro mare “Russo” , – il mar Nero – Gazprom prepara il secondo, questa volta insieme a ENI.  Southstream questo il nome, partirà dalla Russia meridionale per arrivare in Bulgaria e da qui dividersi una volta giunto al confine opposto tra un percorso diretto in Puglia e uno attraverso Serbia e Ungheria, anche loro partner del progetto, fino al CEGH di Vienna per la sua distribuzione. Tutta la costruzione è in mano all’azienda Russa, l’ENI italiana è presente più per assicurarsi la terminazione del progetto che per altro.

Con la conclusione di questo secondo gasdotto la Russia potrebbe coronare il sogno di fornire il suo gas ai famelici clienti Europei senza però dover avere a che fare con il vecchio blocco, ormai isolato sotto diversi punti di vista. Prima l’ingresso nella NATO, poi schieratosi con decisione a favore di quello scudo spaziale anti-Iraniano ma percepito da tutti come anti-Russo, le repubbliche Baltiche, la Polonia, la Romania, l’Ucraina si vedono ora tagliate fuori anche dalla strada energetica. I due gasdotti russi ora arrivano direttamente dai propri clienti e uno solo dei due attraversare altri paesi, ma comunque “amici” di Mosca. Fino a poco tempo fa minacciato dai dubbi del persistere dell’indecisione Turkmena su a chi vendere il proprio gas, rappresentava sin dall’inizio il principale sfidante di Nabucco.

Questo era infatti il nome del progetto di Washington per inserisi in europa con una politica energetica aggressiva, fortemente voluto dalla Clinton. Purtroppo il progetto è rimasto tale. Un gasdotto non si costruisce con il fervore politico. Anzi li si costruisce in genere con gli anticipi dei clienti. Qui si sperava invece di coinvolgere grandi banche, ma ancora oggi non si può dire da dove Nabucco prenderà il gas da trasportare. Quello Azero non è molto ed è da lì che dovrebbe partire, ma non potrebbe nemmeno trasportare quello Iraniano perchè gli USA hanno già detto di no. Insomma è un disegno politico sulla carta che lì rimarrà a lungo temo. Ragioni unicamente politiche per la sua creazione sono seguite da ragioni politiche per la sua inoperatività, mentre ovviamente senza clienti sicuri non ci saranno nemmeno investitori e la Casa Bianca da sola di soldi non vuole metterne.

Ciò che viene messo in risalto da questa nuova organizzazione logistica europea e che spaventa decisamente qualcuno, è l’affidabilità di Mosca ora che da un certo punto di vista può chiudere i rubinetti ai propri singoli clienti senza doversi preoccupare degli altri dipendenti dallo stesso gasdotto. Da questo punto di vista una soluzione pratica verrebbe dai Rigassificatori già presenti anche in Italia, che possono funzionare da polizza d’assicurazione nel caso il Cremlino faccia il maleducato. La vera alternativa sarebbe Nabucco, ma a parità di condizioni, e qui le pari condizioni non ci sono.

The race between the two EU’s eastern gas pipelines is going on while next winter can again show some supply problems via Ukraine. South Stream got latest boost on 11^th November 2009 as Russia’s Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko and Slovenian Economy Minister Matej Lahovnik signed an agreement on the passage of the South Stream gas pipeline across Slovenian territory. Same time shareholders in the Nabucco have started talks with two European top lenders over borrowing almost €1.5 billion for the pipeline’s construction; a €5.6 billion loan is needed for the construction first stage of the project and the shareholders have also started talks with two credit insurers. Besides loan Nabucco still desperately is searching gas for its planned pipe.

With South Stream Russia is looking a more reliable route for its gas exports to Europe as it bypasses Ukraine and Belarus, where price disputes have in the past led to gas shortages. EU Commission tries with Nabucco provide a supply of gas not subject to Russian control.

The competition

The competition over gas is coming harder. In my article “New Player in Caspian Sea Power Corridor” I described how China has came to game to take big share of Turkmenistan gas.

For contest between EU’s Nabucco and Russia’s South Stream China’s actions favor later. Today’s arrangements are securing gas for South Stream while Nabucco still is searching supply. It is more clear that Nabucco should be filled with Iraqi and/or Iranian gas and political aspects related to this may delay finding(private) investors and the implementation of project as whole. In bottom line while Russia is taking its part from old gas fields and China from old and new gas fields the Nabucco pipe still is more than half empty.

Bulgaria?

From 2015 South Stream is scheduled to take gas into the EU via Bulgaria. A northern branch ends up in Italy via Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia and eventually Austria. A southern route takes the gas through Greece and under the Adriatic Sea to Italy. With Slovenia Russia has all the necessary European partners for us to be able to complete its project. During Summer 2009 there was discussions if South Stream could pass Bulgaria. Russia however agreed on 6^th August 2009 with Turkey about energy cooperation with South Stream and also development of Blue Stream pipeline between Russia and Turkey under Black Sea so South Stream has secured also an alternative route. After that the discussions between Bulgaria and Russia got a new boost.

Austria?

Austria has officially backed Nabucco even some of Austrian companies are also partners in South Stream. On 11^th Nov. 2009 Russia and Austria had meeting. PM Putin said after talks with Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann that they agreed to draft an agreement on cooperation in South Stream. Faymann said South Stream is in Austria’s interests and that Austria’s government had given a mandate to start negotiations two weeks ago. He said Nabucco and South Stream shouldn’t be viewed seen as competitors: “We believe that this is diversification as well as a chance to make the energy supply more secure,” Faymann said. Bottom line

Russia made already on May 2009 a proposal including the South Stream gas pipeline to pump natural gas from Russia to the Balkans and onto Europe in a list of EU priority projects. The U.S./EU backed Nabucco project had been included in the list, but South Stream not yet. From my point of view I would like to see EU to change priority status from Nabucco to South Stream. Nabucco could still be kept alive in case to wait stabilisation in the Middle-East.

DAVUTOĞLU’NUN STRATEJİK DERİNLİĞİ NE KADAR

Azerbaycan Cumhurbaşkanı İlham Aliyev’in dış politikasının bileşenleri şöyle tanımlanabilir: 1. Batı yönünde bir adım atılacaksa, mutlaka Rusya yönünde bir adımla birlikte atılmalıdır. 2. Türkiye ile Azerbaycan “tek millet iki devlettir.” 2007 yılında kabul edilen Milli Güvenlik Stratejisi de bu sacayağı üzerine oturuyor.

Azerbaycan’a kaos coğrafyasında görece bağımsız hareket etme olanağı sağlayan bu çizginin son çarpıcı uygulaması, geçen Haziran’da kayda geçti. Azerbaycan NABUCCO projesine katılırken, Azeri devlet petrol şirketi SOCAR, 29 Haziran’da Aliyev ve Rusya Federasyonu Başkanı Dimitri Medvedev’in gözetiminde, Rus petrol şirketi GAZPROM’a yılda 500 milyon metre küp doğal gaz satma anlaşmasını imzaladı.

Azerbaycan, Sovyetler Birliği dağıldıktan sonra bağımsız olan devletler içinde en şiddetli istikrarsızlık yaşayan ve en ağır kayıplar veren ülkelerin başında geliyor. Topraklarının beşte biri Ermenistan tarafından işgal edildi. 30 bin kişi kayıp verdi, 800 bin kişi yerlerinden yurtlarından oldu. Haydar Aliyev, yukarıda tanımladığımız dengeli dış siyasi hattı o koşullarda çizdi. Rusya Federasyonun başını çektiği Bağımsız Devletler Topluluğuna katılmak da, NATO ile Barış İçin İşbirliği (BİO) kapsamında ilişki kurmak da bu hattın gereğiydi. Ama örneğin NATO ile ilişki, bu güne kadar BİO çerçevesinin ötesine geçmedi.

Azerbaycan, bu siyasi hat sayesinde, 15 yılı bulan istikrarlı bir dönem geçirdi. Ermenistan’la “ne savaş ne barış” durumu bile Azerbaycan’ı değil Ermenistan’ı istikrarsızlaştırdı.

KAFKASYA’DA SINIRLAR KALKACAK

AKP hükümetinin “Ermeni açılımı” bu durumu tersine çevirdi; Haydar Aliyev’in maharetle kurduğu dengeyi bozdu. Açılım Azerbaycan’ı ve Kafkasya’yı istikrarsızlaştıracak bir unsur oldu. Açılımın “mimarı” Dışişleri Bakanı Ahmet Davutoğlu da bu durumu teyit ediyor. Fatih Çekirge’ye yaptığı açıklamada, “Attığımız bu adım Kafkasya’ya getirmek istediğimiz yeni düzenin adıdır. Bu düzen içerisinde sınırların kalktığı, ekonomik ilişkilerin yoğunlaştığı, karşılıklı bağlılıkların arttığı bir vizyon vardır” dedi.

Davutoğlu’nun bu açıklaması, ABD eski Dışişleri Bakanı Condoleezza Rice’ın “BOP ile 24 ülkenin sınırlarını değiştireceğiz” sözlerine ne kadar da benziyor!

Davutoğlu, karşılıklı yaşanan bayrak bunalımından sonra Azerbaycan yönetimini “Türkiye ile Azerbaycan arasına nifak sokmakla” suçladı. Azerbaycan’ı istikrarsızlaştırma siyasetini tehditlerle açığa vurdu: “Güvencelere rağmen böyle nifak sokma çabaları ortaya çıkarsa buna en doğru cevabı Azerbaycanlı kardeşlerimizin, kaderdaşlarımızın, tarihdaşlarımızın, soydaşlarımızın vereceğinden eminiz. Bu konuda tereddüdümüz yok ve bu konudaki çabalarımız da bundan sonra daha da artarak devam edecektir.”

DAVUTOĞLU-BRYZA EL ELE

Davutoğlu, Stratejik Derinlik başlıklı kitabında, Balkanlar’da Arnavutluk’un, Kafkasya’da Azerbaycan’ın Türkiye için vazgeçilemez olduğunu yazıyor (Küre Yayınları, 31. baskı). Madem Azerbaycan Türkiye için vazgeçilmezdir, öyleyse AKP ve Davutoğlu neden Azerbaycan’ın istikrarını bozucu bir siyaset izliyorlar?

Davutoğlu, “Politbüro üyesi” Haydar Aliyev’in, Ermenistan’ın Dağlık Karabağ’ı işgal etmesini de kapsayan bir Rus komplosu sonucunda Azerbaycan cumhurbaşkanı olduğu görüşünde. Kitabında yazdığına göre, Ermenistan’ın işgaliyle birlikte Azerbaycan’ın Rusya karşıtı “seçilmiş cumhurbaşkanı” Ebulfeyz Elçibey’in tasfiye süreci başlamış, Suret Hüseyinov darbesiyle Elçibey devrilmiştir. Arkasından oluşan boşlukta Aliyev cumhurbaşkanı yapılmıştır. Bu görüş, Tansu Çiller’in Haydar Aliyev’e karşı bir darbe tezgâhlamasının da fikri temeliydi. Çiller’in darbesini bizzat Cumhurbaşkanı Süleyman Demirel Aliyev’e haber vererek başarısızlığa uğratmıştı.

Davutoğlu’nun “Ermeni açılımı,” Haydar Aliyev’in cumhurbaşkanı olmaya götüren süreci tersinden işletmeyi amaçlıyor. Mademki Haydar Aliyev Ermenistan’ın Dağlık Karabağ’ı ve çevresindeki yedi bölgeyi işgal etmesiyle iktidara geldi, İlham Aliyev de Ermenistan’ın işgal altında tuttuğu toprakların tamamından değilse bile beş bölgeden çekilmesiyle gidecek. Bir kez Ermenistan’ın beş bölgeden çekilmesi sağlanırsa, AKP’nin de desteğiyle Sorosçular vs harekete geçirilecek ve bir “turuncu devrim” gerçekleştirilerek, Azerbaycan’ın NATO’ya girmesine onay veren bir Amerikancı iktidar kurulacak. İşte AKP’ye göre Azerbaycan’ın Türkiye için vazgeçilmez olmasının anlamı bu. Yandaş kalemşorların yazdığı gibi, halk tabanı olmayan Aliyev diktatörlüğü altında Azerbaycan Türkiye için zaten kayıp. Açılım, Turgut Özal’ın George Bush ile birlikte Irak “diktatörü” Saddam Hüseyin’i devirmek için çevirdiği sinsi manevralara benziyor.

Ermenistan’ın beş bölgeden çekileceğini ABD Dışişleri Bakan Yardımcısı Matthew Bryza açıkladı. AGİT Minsk grubu eşbaşkanı olan Bryza, Ermenistan’ın Karabağ’daki beş bölgeyi derhal, iki bölgeyi ise beş sene gibi bir zaman dilimi içerisinde Azerbaycan’a vermesi gerektiğini söyledi. Bryza’nın açıkladığı plana göre, özel bir idari statüye kavuşturulacak bölgeye uluslararası barış gücü yerleştirilecek. Bryza’nın açıklamaları, Davutoğlu’nun “Ermeni açılımı”nın bir ABD projesi olduğunu kanıtlıyor.

NEREDEN ÇIKTI BU AÇILIM?

Rusya 2008 yazında Gürcistan harekâtıyla NATO’nun doğuya doğru genişlemesinin ve ABD’nin Orta Asya’ya Kafkasya’dan koridor açarak hem Rusya’yı hem İran’ı kuşatmasının yolunu tıkamıştı. Bu harekâttan sonra Azerbaycan’da NATO’ya yönelik isteksizlik daha da yükseldi. Büsbütün çöken ve bağımsızlığını ilan ettiği 1991’den bu yana nüfusu bir milyon azalan Ermenistan, tamamen Rusya’ya mahkum oldu. Türkiye’de ve 4 milyon Türkün yaşadığı Avrupa’da Talat Paşa Komitesinin “Ermeni soykırımı emperyalist yalandır” kampanyası geniş yankı buldu. Bu zemin, İran’ın 1994 yılında ortaya attığı bölgesel çözüm planının yeniden gündeme gelmesini ve destek bulmasını sağlayabilirdi. İran, ABD ve Fransa gibi emperyalist devletlerle bu devletlerin etkin olduğu Minsk Grubu vb örgütleri devre dışı bırakan 3+3 formülünü ortaya atmıştı. Yani Türkiye, Rusya ve İran ile Azerbaycan, Ermenistan ve Gürcistan bir araya gelerek, bölgesel bütün sorunlara herkesin ortak yararına çözümler bulmalıydı. Böylesi bir olay Türkiye, İran ve Rusya’yı birbirine daha yaklaştıracaktı ve Avrasya’nın batısında bir ortak iradenin yolunu açardı. Böyle bir gelişme, ABD için stratejik önem arzeden bir yenilgi olurdu; Rusya ile İran’ı kuşatma ve Orta Asya’ya koridor açma hesapları çıkmaza girerdi. ABD Başkanı Barack Hüseyin Obama, Nisan ayındaki Türkiye ziyaretinde “Ermeni soykırımı”nı kabul etme sopasını sallayarak, ABD’nin ayak sürümeye tahammülü olmadığını bildirdi. Davutoğlu ve amirleri, daha önce başlattıkları “açılım” programını hızlandırdılar.

60 YIL ÖNCEKİ KOMPLO TEKRARLANIYOR

AKP’nin “Ermeni açılımı” ile üstlendiği ABD politikası çok yönlüdür. Bu sürecin devamında, Türkiye içinde millici kuvvetlere daha ağır baskı uygulamaya ve yeni bir bölücü fay oluşturmaya ek olarak, Azerbaycan’ın iç istikrarı bozulacak ve Azerbaycan ile Ermenistan’ı NATO’ya dahil edilecek. Bu ise, Rusya ve İran’ın haklı olarak “düşmanca” diye algılayacağı ve karşı önlemler alacağı bir mevzilenmenin başlangıcıdır. Zaten Davutoğlu, Rusya’nın iç çelişkilerini kullanmaktan, “Kuzey Kafkas cumhuriyetlerinin Rusya Federasyonu içindeki statülerini kademeli bir şekilde güçlendirmekten” açık açık söz ediyor, Türkiye’nin savunmasını kuzeyde Grozni’den başlatıyor.

Kısacası, “Ermeni açılımı,” İkinci Dünya Savaşı’ndan sonra Amerikan muhipleri tarafından uydurulan “Sovyetler Birliği Türkiye’den Kars, Ardahan ve Boğazları istedi” yalanına benzer bir komplodur. Rusya’da güçlenen Avrasyacılık ve Türkiye’de milli kuvvetler üzerinden hızlanan Türk-Rus yakınlaşmasını bozmak ve iki ülkeyi yeniden düşman konumlara sürüklemek istenmektedir. Komplo bu kez İran’ı da kapsıyor.

O komplo nasıl “Küçük Amerika” sürecini başlatmışsa, şimdiki komplonun mafya-tarikat rejiminin tam anlamıyla kurumlaştırması umuluyor. Ancak düşüşteki AKP’nin nefesi buna yetmeyecek gibi görünüyor.

Gm non cede Opel, l’ira di Mosca e Berlino

«Inaccettabile la decisione di Detroit»

L’IRA DI BERLINO E LA SORPRESA DI MOSCA – La scelta di Gm non convince poi i governi tedesco e russo. Da una parte Berlino definisce «inaccettabile» la decisione della casa di Detroit e chiede che la casa automobilistica americana rimborsi gli 1,5 miliardi di dollari di prestito ricevuti per concludere l’operazione con Magna. Il governo tedesco aveva spinto affinchè Gm raggiungesse un accordo con Magna, il suo candidato preferito. E ora che la casa americana ha deciso invece di mantenerne il controllo chiede a Detroit di «rafforzare Opel» e di limitare «al minimo indispensabile» i cambiamenti. Berlino fa sapere anche che considera «definitiva» la decisione di Gm, aggiungendo che la casa di Detroit ha chiarito che l’insolvenza «non è un’opzione» per Opel. Sempre secondo il portavoce, è «verosimile» che nei prossimi giorni il cancelliere tedesco, Angela Merkel e il presidente Usa, Barak Obama, si sentano per discutere della questione. Gm, ha detto ancora il portavoce, ha promesso di presentare velocemente un nuovo piano per Opel. Da Detroit fanno sapere di essere pronti a rimborsare alla scadenza a fine novembre il prestito-ponte ricevuto dal governo tedesco. Al rammarico di Berlino si aggiunge la sorpresa del premier russo Vladimir Putin. «Secondo informazioni in nostro possesso il consorzio Magna-Sberbank intende in tempi rapidi consultarsi ed effettuare una approfondita analisi giuridica della situazione» ha spiegato il portavoce Dmitri Peskov . «Il governo russo non partecipa a tutto questo», ha aggiunto.

     On a visit to Tehran, Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan defended Iran’s nuclear program and criticized sanctions, fueling ongoing speculation that Turkey is “leaving the West”. However, Gulnur Aybet argues that Turkey’s improving relations with Iran are based not on Islamic identity politics but on the need to secure gas supplies for the Nabucco pipeline [previously covered here] (Today’s Zaman). Turkey hopes to increase its growing trade with Iran, China and Russia by switching to payments in national currencies instead of US dollars (Daily Star).
     The Christian Science Monitor’s editors, while giving credit to Ankara’s intention to act as a regional mediator, criticize its “emotional, populist condemning” of Israel in favor for stronger relations with “wily, autocratic Iran” (Christian Science Monitor). Flynt Leverett and Hillary Mann Leverett praise Ankara’s regional diplomacy for its success over recent years, arguing that Ankara is serving Western interests better than Washington by seeking to ensure the success of the Nabucco pipeline. The Leveretts add that Jerusalem need Ankara’s support, not the other way around (Politico).

Obwohl es immer wieder von dem Nabucco-Konsortium bestritten wird, sehen Experten eine sinnvolle, wirtschaftliche Auslastung der Nabucco-Pipeline erst mit Einspeisung von iranischem Erdgas als gegeben an. Der Iran räumte nun erstmals vertrauliche Gespräche, oder Verhandlungen(?), mit Europäischen Abnehmern ein. Auch aus dem Nordirak wäre eine Einspeisung kurdischen Erdgases möglich. Sollten diese Verhandlungen zu einem positiven Abschluss gebracht werden, dann hätte Nabucco einen großen Schritt zu einer gesunden wirtschaftlichen Basis getan. Europa hätte als Abnehmer seine einseitige Abhängigkeit von Russland durch eine Abhängigkeit von den zentralasiatischen Staaten, dem Iran und dem Irak und natürlich der Türkei ersetzt. Die Verlässlichkeit dieser neuen Partner muss sich dann in der Zukunft erst noch erweisen. Schließlich zählen die Erdgas-Quellen und die Transitrouten zu den gefährlichsten Gebieten der Welt. Immerhin hat Russland, Vertrags getreu seit dem Ende der sechziger Jahre, mitten im Kalten Krieg, seine Verpflichtungen erfüllt, bis zuletzt die Ukraine und teilweise auch Polen – ermutigt durch die selbstlosen USA – Störungen im Gas-Zufluss verursachten. Diese Störungen wurden von unseren stramm ausgerichteten Konzern-Medien hauptsächlich nicht den Verursachern, sondern Russland angedichtet, analog zur Schuldfrage im Kaukasus-Konflikt mit Georgien.
Was würde nun eine “drohende” Lieferung iranischen Erdgases an die Europäer für Folgen haben für den Iran? Es könnte das iranische Regime stabilisieren? Es würde aus Sicht der USA zunächst dem Mantra-mäßig geforderten Embargo zuwiderlaufen und die zweitgrößten bekannten Erdgas-Reserven der Welt ihrer Kontrolle und (vermutlich auch) dem Dollar-Kreislauf entziehen. Es würde wohl auch Israel nicht besänftigen bei seinen Bemühungen den Iran militärisch anzugreifen. Ein folgender Regime-Change, ein Austausch von iranischen Politikern gegen Marionetten vom Schlage eines Hamid Karzai, könnte eine Entwicklung verhindern, die den USA so sicher nicht gefällt? In diesem Sinne ist die Lage für den Iran sicher nicht sicherer geworden. Ein anderer wichtiger Punkt ist, dass die Realisierung von Nabucco noch Jahre dauern wird und solange dürfte Israel mit Sicherheit nicht still halten?

Die Nabucco Gesellschaft selbst sieht folgenden Zeitplan:

The first construction phase, starting in 2011, will cover the planned route between Ankara and Baumgarten, corresponding to the construction of approximately 2,000 km of pipeline. After this phase, the existing pipeline facilities between the Turkish / Georgian and Iranian borders could be used for an interim period of 2 years, in order to link the new pipeline to the Turkish borders. This will enable the project to start operation and marketing of the pipeline to start in 2014 with an initial pipeline capacity up to 8 bcm, while the construction of the rest of the pipeline will be finished in parallel.

A following construction step II will consist of installation of further compression stations at key points of the pipeline in order to continuously increase the pipeline capacity up to 31 bcm/y.

Für diese letzte Konstruktions-Phase II wird zwar kein Zeitraum angegeben, aber es darf wohl vermutet werden, dass vor 2018 bis 2020 die Maximal-Kapazität von 31 Milliarden Kubikmeter pro Jahr, technisch nicht geliefert werden kann?

Grande scalpore ha destato l’intervento di Berlusconi a Ballarò

Siamo veramente alla frutta.

In questo momento l’Italia è vicina alla Libia di Gheddafi e alla Russia di Putin.

Ormai tutti lo sanno ed è l’impegno di tutti quello di riportare l’Italia nei paesi dell’Occidente.
L’Italia è un paese democratico e la sua collocazione non può essere che l’Europa, a fianco dell’America di Obama.
Ormai votando non si sceglie più tra destra e sinistra, ma si sceglie se si vuole stare con l’Europa e con Obama oppure se si appoggia la politica di Berlusconi di collaborazione stretta con Gheddafi e Putin.
Destra e sinistra è un concetto senza senso.
Un esempio? Berlusconi che osanna Putin, vuole Putin, fà affari con Putin come considera Putin? Un uomo moderato di centro?

Putin è il capo e l’erede del comunismo russo.


Merita rispetto, ma io voglio stare con Obama non con Putin.
Berlusconi costruisce con Putin il più grande gasdotto d’Europa ed ha come concorrente il gasdotto costruito dai paesi europei insieme ad Obama. E’ in ballo l’egemonia sul gas.


Questi sono i fatti incresciosi e gravi, altro che chiacchere.

LA TV ITALIANA E’ IN MANO ALLA SINISTRA.

Ma Berlusconi non è il padrone di tutte le TV?
Si scaglia contro la trasmissione che considera priva di contraddittorio.
Dice a Floris «Lei fa dei processi pubblici nei miei confronti e senza contraddittorio nella tv pagata da tutti i cittadini. Ho assistito agli interventi degli esponenti della sinistra, ho assistito al festival delle falsità e della calunnia. La tv pubblica italiana ha una prevalenza assoluta di giornalisti di sinistra e di programmi di sinistra e attacca il governo»
Al conduttore Floris viene naturale ribattere: “Mi domando quale sia il ruolo dei suoi ministri, visto che sono qui e possono replicare…”.
Due Ministri in studio sono zero? La Russa è anche uno dei tre reggenti del PDL.

La Bindi prova a dire “nessuno contesta il consenso che il premier ha avuto dagli italiani nè il fatto che questi abbia legittimamente governato. Ma il consenso popolare da lui ottenuto non lo solleva dal dover sottoporsi al rispetto della legge, della Costituzione e del giudizio della magistratura”.
Apriti cielo.

CASO TREMONTI

Berlusconi sul caso Tremonti «Abbiamo chiarito ogni equivoco con alcuni esponenti del governo e si prosegue con la politica di rigore» . Confermata la nascita di un comitato economico che affiancherà Tremonti, il quale si dice contentissimo. Insomma ha meno potere ed è contento. Vallo a capire, prima scalciava imbufalito.

IRAP

Sull’Irap: «Si farà entro i tempi possibili e questo dipende da come si evolverà la crisi». Nessuna data, nessuna indicazione precisa. Rimane una promessa.


CASO MARRAZZO

Alla domanda di Conchita De Gregorio (direttrice dell’Unità) sulla storia Marrazzo si viene a sapere che “Mia figlia Marina mi ha detto del video di Marrazzo come parla una figlia al padre. Mondadori l’aveva già rifiutato perchè Mondadori non è né Repubblica né l’Espresso”
“L’ho informato (Marrazzo) ma non gli ho dato alcun consiglio – spiega – l’ho lasciato libero di scegliere se chiamare i numeri telefonici che gli ho fornito o di fare una denuncia”
Insomma considera lecito per un Presidente di Regione acquistare i filmati per ridurre al silenzio tutta la vicenda. Considera lecito per un presidente di Regione continuare ad amministrare anche sotto ricatto di alcuni carabinieri deviati.

FIDUCIA ED OTTIMISMO

Continua a sostenere che l’azione di contrasto alla crisi sia quella “d’infondere fiducia e ottimismo, perché anche l’aspetto psicologico è importante”. Sarebbe interessante sapere cosa ne pensano gli imprenditori in crisi, i cassa integrati, i precari, i pensionati…. occorre per loro una cura psicologica?

BATTUTA FINALE

Floris. «Presidente, come va con la scarlattina?» gli domanda il conduttore. «Se viene a casa mia sono felice di attaccargliela» replica il premier.

Insomma, se il popolo incollato alla TV che decreta il 30% di share al Grande Fratello, deciderà di riconfermare Berlusconi alla guida d’Italia abbiamo solo due opzioni:
O cambiare Paese, oppure imparare molto bene il russo e dire che Putin è un grand’uomo paladino della democrazia.

Ha mandato in onda un servizio su Putin che è durato diversi minuti.
Il servizio elogiava Putin in maniera sperticata.
Il servizio, come ha detto un Fede distrutto, è stato ripreso pari pari dalla TV russa.
Anche per Fede una cosa del genere comincia ad essere troppo.
E’ enorme il potere economico che Berlusconi potrà ottenere alla corte di Putin.

Non ha nessuna remora a vendere l’Italia per ottenerlo.

Il gasdotto South Stream da 64 miliardi di mc di gas/annui costruito dal Comunista Putin ci vede come principali soci.

Dobbiamo però battere la concorrenza degli Europei schierati con Obama che vogliono costruire il gasdotto Nabucco.

Shroeder, che era stato cancelliere di sinistra tedesco tra il 1998 ed il 2005, ha lasciato la politica ed e’ ora presidente del consorzio per la costruzione del gasdotto. Si è messo in affari con Putin.


Grazie ai buoni uffici di Shroeder l’Opel tedesca è andata a Magna e non alla Fiat.

Magna è di proprietà di Putin.

Berlusconi nell’occasione era introvabile.

Berlusconi è entrato anche lui nell’affare South Stream.


Se il gasdotto guadagnerà 0,1 euro/mc il consorzio si metterà in tasca 6,4 miliardi/anno.

Se guadagnerà 0,2 euro/mc il ricavato sarà 12,80 miliardi di euro e così via.


Altro che Mediaset !! soldi e potere a palate !!

Speriamo Berlusconi si ricordi del suo fedele amico Scajola che tanto si è prodigato per instaurare buoni rapporti con la Russia di Putin.


Intanto il nostro Premier non è potuto arrivare in Italia per presiedere alla riunione del Consiglio dei Ministri.

E’ quindi saltato anche l’incontro con Tremonti che nel frattempo è imbufalito per la sparata dell’Irap da terra russa.

Il nostro Premier preso dall’euforia ha tagliato con una telefonata 30.000 miliardi di tasse/anno.


Il gasdotto ed i piaceri del soggiorno in dacia sono stati fatali a Tremonti.

Il nostro Premier ha telefonato da San Pietroburgo dicendo che la causa del suo ritardo è stata una bufera di neve talmente forte da bloccare gli aerei.
Il mondo dei blogger si è messo in moto e ne giro di pochi minuti hanno documentato con webcam che a San Pietroburgo non c’era traccia di neve.

Giulio Tremonti ha commentato «Tempesta di neve? Direi invece che è stato bloccato da una nebbia fitta, molto fitta…».

Noi invece abbiamo scoperto che la tempesta c’è stata.

Dopo la “Puccini collection” dello scorso inverno ecco la Verdi DVD Collection, in edicola allegata ai settimanali del gruppo Mondadori. Si parte con Aida, cui seguiranno Traviata, Rigoletto, Trovatore… ecc. fino a tutto gennaio, salvo ripensamenti editoriali.

Quindi primo numero Aida, in una edizione ripresa all’Arena di Verona circa 30 anni fa. Maggiore attrattiva la presenza di Maria Chiara, soprano che nel ruolo di Aida eccelleva in modo particolare, e di Fiorenza Cossotto nel ruolo di Amneris. Radames è Nicola Martinucci. A dirigere Anton Guadagno, direttore siciliano, scomparso nel 2002,  attivo soprattutto all’estero. Aveva una predilezione per Aida e spesso era chiamato a dirigerla. Un estratto dall’edizione: il duetto tra Aida e Amneris.

Come già avevo annunciato, il secondo numero è La Traviata. Si tratta della celeberrima edizione diretta da Georg Solti con Angela Gheorghiu nel ruolo di Violetta. Edizione già distribuita più volte in edicola in altre collane sia in VHS che in DVD. Scelta comunque sempre azzeccata, in quanto è forse la migliore edizione in video dell’opera. Spettacolo del Covent Garden del dicembre 1994 fu un successo strepitoso al punto che la BBC cambiò la programmazione tv per trasmetterla in diretta. La Decca ne fece immediatamente CD e video. Merito di Solti, che alla veneranda età di 82 anni debuttava in quest’opera e scelse per il ruolo principale la Gheorghiu, curandone in modo capillare la interpretazione. Accanto alla Gheorghiu l’ottimo Germont padre di Leo Nucci. Meno riuscita la scelta di Frank Lopardo come Alfredo. Comprimari che cantano in itanglese, come di solito alla ROH, almeno in passato. Allestimento tradizionale di ottimo gusto di Richard Eyre.

Due estratti dall’edizione:

Terzo numero: Rigoletto. Come avevo già scritto, edizione del Metropolitan di New York, direttore James Levine. Ripresa il 7 novembre 1977 è un esempio di che cosa era il Met nell’era Levine. Spettacoli molto tradizionali, non sempre belli e spesso vetusti; cast che accanto a vecchie glorie del teatro vedevano star del momento e comprimari di buon livello; direzione d’orchestra di Levine, spesso criticata per mancanza di idee originali, ma sempre fortemente teatrale, di passo incalzante, mai noiosa. In questo Rigoletto nel ruolo eponimo c’è una vecchia gloria del Met: Cornell Mac Neil che a 55 anni riesce ancora a essere un convincente Rigoletto. Accanto a lui due star: Placido Domingo e Ileana Cotrubas, allora presente in molti teatri e incisioni. I due saranno protagonisti della incisione dell’opera diretta da Giulini un paio di anni dopo. Justino Diaz è Sparafucile Isola Jones Maddalena. La regia di John Dexter è quanto di più tradizionale si possa immaginare, ma forse meglio così: si va sul sicuro. La ripresa tv di Kirk Browning è secondo gli standard del tempo e oggi potrebbe sembrare superata. Però si tenga presente che gli USA e il Met in questo campo erano circa 20 anni avanti a noi nel tempo.

Un estratto dall’edizione:

Quarto numero: Il Trovatore. Anche in questo caso edizione del Met. Conosciutissima e già distribuita in edicola in varie collane sia in VHS che in DVD. Trasmessa anche in tv lo scorso anno dalla rete Iris nel digitale terrestre free to air in un ciclo di opere in prima serata che purtroppo non ha avuto lunga vita. I pregi maggiori di tale edizione sono la presenza di Luciano Pavarotti e la direzione di James Levine. Il resto non è, a mio avviso, sullo stesso alto livello. Sherril Milnes nel 1988 cominciava a dar segni di stanchezza, Eva Marton ha voce potente, ma non mi sembra adatta al personaggio di Leonora,  Dolora Zajick canta bene, ma ha una dizione italiana che ne compromette in parte l’interpretazione, Jeffrey Wells è un Ferrando forse da dimenticare. Lo spettacolo ha la regia di Fabrizio Melano con le scene di Ezio Frigerio e i costumi della Squarciapino: nulla di memorabile, più che altro sembra il riciclaggio di altri allestimenti già visti all’epoca. Buona la ripresa tv a cura di Brian Large.

Quinto numero: Otello. Di nuovo Metropolitan, nuovamente James Levine. Nel ruolo eponimo Placido Domingo, che nel 1995 (anno della registrazione dello spettacolo) ne era forse il miglior interprete. Al suo fianco la Desdemona di Renée Fleming e lo Jago di James Morris. La regia dello spettacolo, molto tradizionale, è di Elijah Moshinskij e proviene dal Covent Garden. Se devo esser sincero non ho mai particolarmente apprezzato questa edizione: forse il tentativo del regista e del direttore di depurare l’esecuzione dell’opera di ogni possibile eccesso ha finito col produrre uno spettacolo corretto, ben cantato, ma tutto sommato un po’ carente di pathos. Comunque, al di là dei miei gusti individuali, è una produzione di buon livello, con momenti anche molto riusciti: fra tutti il finale del terzo atto, dove finalmente si riescono ad ascoltare (e anche vedere) le trame che nel concertato generale Jago continua a tessere.

Sesto numero: Nabucco. Un’edizione per certi versi storica. Teatro alla Scala 1986: spettacolo inaugurale. Segnò l’inizio dell’era Muti (se così posso definirla) e presenta il Maestro in un momento particolarmente felice . Muti è in luna di miele con la Scala e con il pubblico milanese e dà il meglio di sé in questo Nabucco. A mo’ di esempio questo video in cui un pubblico osannante chiede il bis del Va’ pensiero e Muti con “soddisfatta rassegnazione” lo concede.

A vederlo piange davvero il cuore a pensare al divorzio insanabile tra il Teatro milanese e Muti dopo un connubio di 19 anni. Renato Bruson è Nabucodonosor ed è veramente esemplare. Ghena Dimitrova (Abigaille) e Paata Burchuladze (Zaccaria) erano tra le presenze abituali della Scala di quegli anni. Voci torrenziali, tenute comunque a freno da Muti. Lo spettacolo ebbe la diretta tv Rai il 7 dicembre, la ripresa tv è di quel mago della regia televisiva che risponde al nome di Brian Large. Insomma un’altra Scala, un’altra Rai, un’altra Italia…. Migliori? Fate un po’ voi…
