Kate Moss fue con un vestido negro transparante que dejó mucho que ver, fue ganadora del London 25, creado este año para reconocer el espíritu de Londres y que sea considerado embajador internacional de la capital de la industria de la moda.

Y estos son parte de los demás galardonados: A esta lista se agregan Christopher Bailey, creativo de Burbery, que se llevó los premios Diseñador y Diseñador de Marca del año; El Logro Sobresaliente en Diseño de Moda fue para John Galliano.

I have to say I am quite disappointed at the lack of style at British Fashion Awards. Unlike Met in N.Y models and stars really didn’t take this opportunity to wear something uber stylish. I would have loved to see a few Couture dresses at the event but, I don’t think there were any. At least not worn by big stars. Not to say Couture is the best but, it’s often more out there and intricately made! I’ve only shown a few of the ‘good’ looks, if even the nice ones are boring, there’s no hope for the not so nice ones. The best dressed is actually Daisy Lowe, although her dress is black it had enough twist to make it interesting to look at. It also complemented her persona very well, it’s like her and the dress are one. Kate Moss was a disappointing act, if I had known our once super stylish maven would become like this after she signed up with Topshop, I would have petitioned against it! It breaks my heart to see her one after another passe outfits….. Victoria Beckham actually looked nice here, the dress suited her slightly sulking facial expressions, her hair and make up suited the dress too! Natalia Vodianova is my fav model and I love her dress sense too however, she’s worn something similar to this blue dress at Met this year, if I remembered it correctly. It looks good on her but, a little imagination would go a long way. Claudia always looks the same, classic and clean, she adopted that formulation once again. Eva is the goddess of the night. The black dress is not too revealing but, still quite exposed hence, the goddess part. Not too bad, overall.

I remember when this issue of Vogue came out six years ago. The transformations of the designers into kooky wonderland characters and the fresh interpretations of the classic “Alice” dress were mesmerizing! Who doesn’t love the whimsical story of Alice in Wonderland? It’s so easy to get lost in-enjoy!

though the cover is the worst i’ve seen, the editorial model casting shits on anything i have ever seen for a while in fashion publications. the cast is completely untoppable. every model that is a supermodel appears for the meisel created spread. though the creative juice is, for the most part, absent from this concept- the models make up for any lacking elements. this set of chicks is fuckn devastation to the model game. how can anyone top this- real shit, its ill. i posted increments of this edit but wanted to post the full editorial- i mean, how could i not? these are the top females in the game & some are legends. fuxwidit!

The balance of December’s Vogue Italia’s Twitpic-lovin’ editorial is out and while not as salacious as it could be, it’s still amusing. Gisele’s shown covering her baby bump, Freja celebrates with a Sexy Beast birthday cake and the married Natalia hooks up with YSL design Stefano Pilati in a hallway. Random.

And the magazine’s creative guru and enigmatic photographer, Steven Meisel frames the concept of models capturing themselves with the message “feeling a touch swine flu… so not coming to work today. I’m sending you some clothes… wear what you like, Meiselpic it back to me. xxSteven.” Ummm Meiselpic would seriously be amazing, don’t you think?

the influence of technology in fashion is rapidly increasing. whether its the live streams from paris for alexander mcqueen or michael kors being inspired by lady gaga enough to inject lucite into his spring collection- the future is now. the december cover of italian vogue pays tribute to our current digital age with the tag line, “meisel pic” referencing the infamous “twitpic” site, which is among the sister sites of the entire twitter.com conglomerate. personally, i think it is the role of publications as reputable as vogue italia, to produce original concepts that, if anything, would inspire others. you have to look at the cover & wonder, “how much creativity is lacking here?” it almost downgrades the magazine’s creative reputation. its understandable that fashion publications need to provide a certain element of shock value with emphasis on the unexpected but real shit- dont sacrifice creativity completely. the cover features supermodels christy turlington, gisele bunchen, kasia struss, lara stone & natalia vodianova in reportedly self-shot images. while kasia gives you the online profile signature of shooting into the mirror, christy gives you the ‘im a bad bitch in shades’ shot. lara stone lends her face to the unsuspecting overhead candid, while we see gisele with her amrs out in a pose screaming, “i shot this image myself & didnt take time to fix my hair beforehand.” the only image that reflects any form of creativity is natalia’s & seen to the left, its obvious. after first seeing the cover on monday, i thought it was a fake & honestly dismissed the cover script as a poorly selected font of a tacky watermark. myself, as well as many other readers & fashion blogosphere residents, have tried to give the cover a chance. sometimes you dont appreciate the cover when confronted with it head-on & it takes time to soak in- i mean, why wouldnt you try & bend your perception for steven meisel? but this cover, is – without a doubt – horrible. i’ve compared it to a high school yearbook friendship collage. case in point, that type of shit is not chic. in my own blazing opinion, i feel that fashion is provided to inspire us- not imitate us. does this creative option glorify twitter? because it most certainly does not elevate the creative potential of italian vogue. does this dismiss the fashion credibility of steven meisel? because in many forms it seems careless. it seems like this is the easy way out. all shade aside, im sure this saved italian vogue some money- as cover shoots aren’t cheap. but still, in the sake of saving finances, true artists should never spare any ounce of creative drive, at any cost. i judge things on how i can produce them myself & this isnt even a creative twit-pic concept, when looking at the cover you think- “are you fuckin kidding me?” the sad part is, they arent kidding. the good news is that they have the rest of 2010 to redeem themselves. [SOURCE]

Vogue Italia has always been quite aware and referential of pop culture and societal trends (see their webcam ed in January ‘07), so this Twitter-devoted cover and ed for their December issue isn’t much of a surprise. Gisele, Christy, Lara, Kasia and Natalia get the collage cover, but a slew of others join them for the Twitpic-style editorial. It looks a little amateur in design, but the concept is refreshingly fun and ironic.

The beautiful Natalia Vodianova is a model both on and off the runway. She’s one of my favorites because she’s so naturally beautiful and has this sweet essence air about her, but looks aren’t all she has. She knows how to work it like none other in any runway or photo shoot. Even besides her modeling career, Natalia has so much going for her. She’s the wife of Justin Portman and the mother of 2 beautiful children. One thing I really admire about her is that she is a founder and the president of the Naked Heart Foundation, a philanthropic organization that aims to give a safe and heartening environment to play in for every child that lives in urban Russia. As you can see, a model on and off the runway in more than one way.

Il fait froid, il fait gris et nous commençons à manquer de lumière, alors je fais particulièrement attention à toujours avoir de jolies fleurs dans la maison pour qu’elles nous offrent leurs couleurs et leur gaité.

Forcément les anémones ont ma préférences, avec leurs jolies robes colorées et légères.

Forcément je passe un temps à certain à les contempler et les photographier. A chaque fois que mon regard se pose sur elles je ne peux m’empêcher de m’émerveiller devant leur charme et leur grâce.
Amoureuse des anémones, voilà ce que je suis.

Du coup j’en ai même mis sur ma robe. Ma chemise de nuit devrais-je dire!

Aperçue sur notre fan de rose préférée, je me suis précipitée chez Etam pour voir cette merveille en vrai.
Et bien en vrai elle est encore plus jolie, quelle beauté cette soie!!!

Et même si je n’ai pas l’impeccable silhouette de Marie, et bien ces jolies fleurs m’ont valu une pluie de compliments sympathiques. Forcément bons pour le moral!
