Here’s #6. The challenge was to use pattern paper and a die cut machine. So I used my Cricut Tages, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge to cut out this cut box. The heart Tag is also from the TBBM cart.

Oh and guess what paper I used. Yep K&Co.

Base of card and Ribbon is Berry Sorbet from Paper Trey Ink, Pattern paper is from K&Co.’s Life a Party paper pack. I used very vanilla Cardstock from SU and Pocket Silhouette stamp set. Happy Mother’s Day is from the All Holiday’s stamp set, also from SU.

I used Rough and Tough pattern paper from K&Co. The polka pot paper is Stampin’ Up! matted with Baja Breeze. I also used “Boys Rule” from the Cricut Cartridge Locker Talk.

Oh and the cutie in the picture is my handsome and at that time curly haired son.

Here’s my finished project for Challenge #1

I used: Pretty in pink SU cardstock for the base, pattern paper from Paper Trey Ink, Whisper White Ribbon from Su, Oval Punches from SU and Mom is made with Studio G alpha stamps.

From the March “Nest of Treasure” Kit one of my favorite LO’s is this one of my Kitten, Sissy:

Everything on this Layout comes  from the kit, the ONLY exception is the “?” Mark, it is from my stash, and painted to match. What I love about this LO, besides the fact that everything came from the Kit, lol is that DH & I will always look at this LO in the future and remember. We’ll remember the fact her nickname is “Kitten”, and also our fascination with the Joker (played by Heath, even though I still love Jack’s version too)

It is one of my more simple LO’s and one of my favorites too:) It’s a 5X7 Photo, matted horizontally & vertically, inked and attached to the pretty Patterned Paper:) Added my Title and I’ve got my keepsake:)

And That is why I scrapbook to make sure I remember! lol With this memory I have in my thirties, I definitely need my scrapbooks when I’m older…rofl!

I wish all you Scrapbookers Out there a Fabulous Day Today! Scrap Lots!!

1. Attend a crop or scrapbooking party! Of course, this would be #1 on the list! There is nothing better, and more motivating, than to scrap with friends! If you didn’t plan to attend a crop, be spontaneous and consider inviting some friends over!
2. Go shopping! At Scrappin’ Good Times. How can you resist all the new paper and embellies the store has to offer!!
3. Scrap by yourself! We all do this on other days of the year, but at the very least, do some scrapbooking by yourself today if you aren’t getting together with others.
4. Learn a new technique! SGT has lots of great classes. Why not learn to use Copic markers–check out Chelle’s Copic Workshop in May   
5. Join a new email list/blog…..personally I think SGT is the best!!!
6. Submit your best layouts to magazines!
7. Organize!!!! A neat scrapping space is essential to creating your masterpieces.
8. Scraplift!! Come into SGT for inspiration & ideas. Or spend some time reviewing your favorite scrapping magazines.
9. Try something different! If you have always thought of using something non-scrapbooking related in your album, spend some time doing just that!
10. Teach! I think one of the best ways to spend Nat’l Scrapbooking Day is to teach a non-scrapper your favorite hobby! 

There is so much great stuff in those bags!  There might actually be two bags missing by this Saturday.  But don’t check my car or Barb’s… they won’t be in there either.  Have a wonderful time cropping!  Maybe I will stop by and say hi.
