Natsume Takashi, the main character of the story, is born on July 1st. Natsume is 15 years old, and like his grandmother, Natsume Reiko, he has the ability to see spirits. He has inherited the Book of Friends, a book of youkai (spirit) names that no one but Reiko, Natsume, and other spirits can read. Because of Natsume’s strong resemblance to his grandmother Reiko, he is often mistaken for her, causing spirits who hate Reiko to chase him constantly. He decided to dissolve the book by giving all the names back to their owners. He is accompanied by the spirit Madara, nicknamed “Cat” because of the spirit’s appearance. Natsume promised that to pass the book on to Cat when he dies, if the cat serves as his bodyguard until then.

Natsume is an orphan. When he was younger, his parents died, and he was constantly sent to live with relatives. Because of his ability to see spirits, he would scare his relatives since they don’t understand what he was talking about. Eventually, Natsume moved to an old couple’s house from his father’s side. He loves them, and does not want to cause them trouble, so he keeps quiet about his problem. Natsume has developed a good punch, since he constantly has to escape from spirits.
His punch is extra effective against spirits since he has strong spiritual power, like his grandmother. He also has a bit of a short temper with nyanko-sensei (the cat). In the anime, he is more cheery and good-natured, while in the manga, he is slightly more dismal and short-tempered.

Natsume is able to return the names inscribed in the Book of Friends by first picturing the spirit in his mind in order to learn the spirit’s name, then the book flips to the page on which the name is written and then he takes the page and places it in his mouth while breathing out. The spell which originally enslaved the spirits used Reiko’s saliva and breath; as Reiko’s grandson and one who bears a strong resemblance to Reiko, Natsume is able to use the spell as well. The cost of releasing the name, however, is that his energy is almost completely drained in the process.

That little blurb about the game comes directly from the Natsume Facebook page.  The game looks like an interesting twist between Harvest Moon and Cooking Mama . Natsume, probably best known for their work on the Harvest Moon franchise has announced that Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition has gone to processing and will launch later this month. We’ve contacted them for some more information on the title so look for that in the next few days. Until then, enjoy the press release and a few screens of the upcoming safari adventure.

game ini dirilis pada tanggal 18 november versi USA-nya dan merupakan sekuel dari seri rune factory sebelumnya. bagi yang belum memainkan sekuel sebelumnya tidak usah cemas karena cerita dari rune factory ini tidak berhubungan dengan sebelumnya dan kamu tetap masih bisa menikmati game ini.

untuk selanjutnya bagi yang belum tau ama game rune factory itu apa?, disini saya akan sedikit menjelaskannya, jadi rune factory ini hampir sama dengan seri – seri harvest moon sebelumnya tapi sedikit ditambah elemen – elemen rpgnya. selain menjaga perkebunan, kamu juga harus menjelajahi dungeon – dungeon atau gua gua dan bertarung melawan monster untuk menaikkan level.

ada beberapa peningkatan dalam hal kontrol sebelumnya seperti fitur touchscreen yang lebih dioptimalkan. perbedaan yang paling besar dalam game ini dengan sebelumnya adalah sekarang kamu bisa memainkan dua generasi dari karakter tersebut, jadi setelah karakter utamanya menikah terus punya anak, nah anaknya itu nanti bakalan meneruskan ayahnya untuk menjaga kebun. waduh, kayaknya bakalan lama nih tamatnya ^^;.

nah bagi kamu yang ngaku sebagai fans berat game harvest moon series maupun yang baru tau game rune factory itu tidak ada salahnya untuk memainkan game ini. jangan terpengaruh dengan rating gamespot yang hanya 6.5 untuk mendownload gamenya.

A polêmica Miku Natsume

Yo, minna san. Konnichiwa!

Desculpe pela ausência, mas ultimamente eu ando empenhado em conseguir patrocínio para o evento que ajudo a promover todos os anos na cidade de Fortaleza no Ceará, o SANA. Pois é conseguimos algo inédito para um evento como esse que foi entrar na Lei Rouanet, a chamada lei de incentivo a cultura. Essa lei faz com que empresas possam doar até 4% de seu Imposto de Renda para a cultura. O valor é descontado do IR e é como se elas não estivessem gastando absolutamente nada obviamente.
Como é a primeira vez que um evento como esse ganha o respeito do governo como incentivador cultural é complicado conseguir que as empresas que efetivamente trabalham com esse tipo de coisa entenda o objetivo do evento. Acho que pior do que isso é a ignorância de achar que a lei Rouanet só serve para angariar fundos para filmes nacionais, restauração de obras históricas, eventos de caridade e etc… O SANA investe em música, dança, concursos e atrações que atraem a atenção do jovem da nossa geração, aquele cara como eu e você que entra na internet e lê tudo o que vê pela frente. É a chance de fazer algo legal e atrair a atenção de todos.

Enfim, mas não é disso que eu vim falar hoje. Uma notícia que me chocou a semana passada foi a demissão da apresentadora japonesa Miku Natsume. A jovem que teve uma foto particular (essa aí em cima!) misteriosamente estampada em uma revista, o que lhe custou o emprego. Na foto que virou polêmica, ela segura uma caixa de camisinhas (da marca Sagami).
Essa imagem rendeu a garota muitas reclamações de quem que assistia a seus programas (donas de casa em sua maioria) o que a fez perder o emprego na emissora. Dizem os boateiros que numa conversa interna, ela chegou a chorar para os responsáveis do canal pedindo uma segunda chance que lhe foi negada. Sendo demitida do canal, dizem que ela já está condenada porque a polêmica deve impedi-la de trabalhar nas mesmas condições novamente.
Pessoas daquele país que acharam essa história toda um absurdo se uniram para formar um comitê chamado “Salvem Miku Natsume”.

Olha sinceramente o que eu posso dizer? Absurdo total. Sem falar que tem uma cara de teoria da conspiração. Publicaram uma foto dela sem mais nem menos numa revista gerando crítica da massa e fazendo a garota perder o emprego, sem chance de recuperação.

Aí eu penso. E aquele cara do Smap, o tal do Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, que fazia cara de bonzinho na tv, mas que um belo dia bêbado como um gambá resolveu tirar a roupa e dançar e gritar peladão numa praça de madrugada. A vizinhança chamou a polícia, o cara foi preso, se desculpou e pronto tá aí na mídia japonesa novamente. Vai entender?

Você reparou na foto? Tem algo demais? Uma mulher segurando uma caixa de camisinhas não é uma foto pornográfica! Na pior das hipóteses, a tal apresentadora mostrou ao mundo que se preocupa na hora de transar. Aliás, ela chegou a dizer aos chefes que ela se preparava para fazer uma campanha sobre o uso de camisinha, mas a desculpa não colou.

Sabe o que isso parece para mim? Que queriam demiti-la por justa causa, mas como não tinham nada pra mandar a mina embora resolveram fazer algo a respeito. O que você acha? Seria o Japão uma cultura machista? É mais um daqueles choques culturais…

Nos textos que eu li por aí, eles dizem que ao segurar a caixa de camisinhas, a jovem apresentadora dava a idéia de que tinha feito sexo e de que, infelizmente, havia gostado. O fato de uma mulher ter a liberdade de fazer exatamente aquilo que um homem faz, gera uma reação negativa da sociedade japonesa. Essa é só uma teoria das muitas que eu vi esta semana. Obviamente, essa foi a que mais me chamou a atenção, por causa do post sobre a pílula que está logo abaixo.

Pra evitar que se exponha a uma coisa desse tipo, a Rede Globo anda proibindo seus funcionários de terem blogs, twitter, sites de fotos, orkut e outras coisas pela internet. Saca só!

Aliás uma coisa interessante no Japão é constatar que todos os atores, atrizes, bandas, apresentadores e gente da mídia em geral possui blogs na internet. Descobriu-se que essa era uma forma de aproximar virtualmente o fã de seus artista preferido. O que não deixa de ser uma verdade.

Before Super Robot Taisen, Summon Night and other Game Boy Advanced games that gave me musical inspiration, I just so happened to play a game called Lufia: The Legend Returns on my Game Boy Color, about the same time I bought Power Quest. If you’ve read my post about the original soundtrack, the inspiration from there applies here more than anything else. This game was the first unique handheld RPG I’ve ever loved, and still do. The game itself was incredible; it had interesting characters, multiple areas, skills, monsters, weapons, story and beautiful music (thanks to one Yasunori Shiono). Hell, one of the tracks in the soundtrack has a very noticeable similarity to what may be the one song that defines my composing style.

…bah, I’m kinda lazy and if you noticed I didn’t even bother spamming links in the last LEAF XCEED Music Division release, and same here. Not unless it’s really necessary. XD

El dia de hoy les traigo dos canciones de old school rockabilly para que muevan un poco los pies, el primero es i got a woman de elvis presley. La primera vez que la escuche fue con ray charles y suena genial, pero el rey se lleva las palmas con esta interpretacion.

el segundo tema es de santo & jhonny. Fue una de las primeras canciones rockabilly que escuche, de hecho no se si se pueda considerar como rockabilly, mas bien la llamaria oldie, pero lo que importa es que es buena y es parte de mi soundtrack diario xD

lo se, me habia tardado, pero al fin, el tributo al hombre que, haciendo a un lado los escandalos y los tambos de caca tirados a su persona logro marcar a toda una (o unas?) generacion con su musica y forma de bailar. En lo personal nunca fui fan from hell, pero al ser fan de los zombies y la onda retro, siempr estuve al pendiente de su musica,quiza no toda pero si la mas notable y pegajosa.
tambien cabe destacar que fue de los primeros en utilizar imagenes de anime en sus videos, asi como tambien aporto varias cosas a la cultura geek y a la cultura pop en general
donde quiera que este seguro ah de estar jugando poker con los grandes de la musica (menos richi valens, nunca me cayo bien el tipo xD).
