ProStreet is a solid racing game, but it has some performance issues and is missing most of what made the previous games in the series interesting.

Hello once again. I was quite excited to get this game as the last Need for Speed that I had was Underground 2, and that game blew me away. This game on the other hand… not so good. Alot of what I like on this game is about the story line and gameplay, not the graphics. My PC is good but not great so I do get lags. This game was all about the graphics. Thats where EA got it wrong.

I can’t deny the graphics were pretty good but they skimped out on the storyline that you find in previous versions of the Need for Speed series. The speed challenges were my favourite.

Need for Speed: Prostreet brings some more NfS to the PS3. This game has great graphics with nice racing, cool online options, and awesome car damage that makes totaling your car a lot more interesting. However, the announcers are very annoying, the races can get very old after a while, missing a bunch of things that made the last games fun, and lastly, ads..a bunch of ads. Overall, this game can be fun, but I don’t think it is a good buy, might want to try it out first.

Pros:

+ Nice online options

+ Car damage looks nice and makes totaling your ride fun

+ Solid, albeit unspectacular racing

Cons:

- Ads, sponsored achievements, and the ability to purchase cars using real cash

- Missing much of the stuff that made the last few games fun
