The Neocon Republican Terrorist vision of a divided and segregated America, where everybody that is not a white Anglo-saxon Christian is considered cannon fodder and trash, is coming to fruition. It is reminiscent of the reaction to the new population of freed slaves that the white former slave masters had after they were soundly defeated in the Civil War by the Union army.

This is the period in our history called Reconstruction where,for a decade after the Civil War,blacks gained political power, and some attained financial wealth as well.

During Reconstruction, southern whites turned violent when they saw blacks making major gains.

 Reconstruction was followed in the South by domination by the Democratic Party and the enactment of Jim Crow laws, grandfather clauses and similar measures. The bitterness and repercussions from the heated conflicts of the era lasted well into the twentieth century.

Southern state governments quickly enacted the restrictive “black codes“. However, they were abolished in 1866 and seldom had effect, because the Freedman’s Bureau (not the local courts) handled the legal affairs of freedmen.

The Black Codes indicated the plans of the southern whites for the former slaves.^[24] The freedmen would have more rights than did free blacks before the war, but they still had only a limited set of second-class civil rights, no voting rights, and, since they were not citizens, they could not own firearms, serve on a jury in a lawsuit involving whites or move about without employment.^[25] The Black Codes would limit blacks’ ability to control their own employment. The Black Codes outraged northern opinion. They were overthrown by the Civil Rights Act of 1866 that gave the Freedmen full legal equality (except for the right to vote).^[26

 There were many reported murders of blacks in the south during reconstruction, but many killings of blacks went unreported, and by all accounts, millions upon millions of African-Americans were killed by the hands of bitter southerners, as reported in this account taken from Wikipedia by a soldier visiting from the North...

The number of murders and assaults perpetrated upon Negroes is very great; we can form only an approximate estimate of what is going on in those parts of the South which are not closely garrisoned, and from which no regular reports are received, by what occurs under the very eyes of our military authorities. As to my personal experience, I will only mention that during my two days sojourn at Atlanta, one Negro was stabbed with fatal effect on the street, and three were poisoned, one of whom died.

In todays modern post-racial world, we have organizations and groups that have a mission to keep track of, and to investigate the existence of, the number of racially motivated,or bias motivated crimes against minorities,religious groups, gay Americans.

Currently, America is going through another Reconstruction like era,as we are experiencing the racial backlash of hatred based on the election of our first black president,Barack Obama.

The election of Barack has caused a rise in all forms of hate crimes, as well as the emergence of the Ku Klux Klan as a force to stoke the flames of hatred and encouraging physical action of violence against blacks, Gays, and all other religious groups that are not Christian.

What is most distressing is that the tide of racial violence is being egged on and financed by the foreigner Rupert Murdoch, and the entire Republican party,that at one time represented the opposite of what they believe in now.

For a group that, centuries ago, used to be the main supporter of civil rights, they currently are the main driving force behind this increasing tide of racism and bigotry that is the rage in most of the states in America.

The racist are moving from the south, and invading the once liberal California, in order to spread their southern tradition of hatred and illiteracy. Hate crimes based on sexual orientation shot up 21 percent in Los Angeles County last year, while religious crimes increased 14 percent, because the southern bigots have moved in.

The Daily News in Los Angeles reports that...in 2008  in the Valley,James Shamp, an African-American man who worked as a janitor at a bowling alley in Canoga Park, was shot to death as he was throwing out trash. According to the report, three members of the Canoga Park Alabama gang, which has a long history of violent anti-black crimes, were arrested and charged with murder and hate crime enhancements.

The San Fernando Valley had the most amount of hate crimes in the Los Angeles area.

"Whenever I look at a map of hate crimes, I find there is a great diversity of hate crimes that occur in the San Fernando Valley," said Robin Toma, executive director of the commission. "You have anti-Semitic hate crimes, homophobic hate crimes and racially motivated hate crimes. There is also the phenomena of racialized gang violence."

Sexual orientation hate crimes rose the most last year, with more than 80 percent targeting gay men and at least nine crimes traced to Proposition 8.

The mother of a white tourist family from Arkansas told them, "You are going to burn in hell!" and dumped her water bottle on one of them and punched one in the face...

Please keep that level of ignorance in Arkansas,...and my family is from Arkansas.

The election of the first black president and hot-button issues such as abortion and gay marriage contributed to the spikes, anti-bias groups say. Public figures like Sarah Palin and Glen Beck have done a lot to cause the current racial hatred that whites are visiting on all others.

The two of them have been quite effective when it come to rallying sympathy for groups like the KKK and the Nazis.

USA TODAY is reporting that the number of attacks on blacks increased 8% to 2,876, accounting for seven of every 10 race-motivated crimes.

"There is this kind of extremism going on," says Hilary Shelton, director of the NAACP Washington bureau. I say to the world, this is a good look at the so-called ''Post-Racial'' America, a country where race relations and the unity of the races has been usurped by the in vogue traditional American practice of racial bias,hatred and division.

Our country has been going through this cycle for well over a Hundred and 8o years, and by the looks of things, that sad tradition will continue.

What do we do to end this....will we come together, or will we have to resort to our primal instinct, where only the strong survive.

I think that based on 200 years of data and statistics, the tradition of racism is alive, well, and thriving in the United States, and that we are guilty of the same atrocities against humanity...our own people, that we so blatantly accuse our so-called enemies of doing to their minority populations.

One of the great boogeymen of Jew haters is the Israeli secret service, the Mossad. To give credit to all of white power nuts, klanboys, holocaust deniers, white supremacists, bible belt thumpers and other Aryan type detris as well as Islamists; you would think that Mossad has am iron grip on the world. They dont consider than tiny Israel has tiny resources and in not involved in world subjugation. The Mossad are just very efficient and effective. They HAVE to be.

One of the biggest manufactured exaggerations are the famous dancing Israelis. Now these Israelis were across the harbor from when the planes hit. They were in a van with surveillance equipment. But they werent guiding the planes. 19 Arabs were in those planes. Remember how Arabs in general consider Israel’s existence an insult to their honor? No they dont work together on massive attacks.

A woman named Maria lived in an apartment building west of Liberty State Park. She reported men with cameras jumping in an excited fashion. She elaborated they were dancing, holding up lighters and dressed like Arabs. Not too smart for Mossad guys right? Well many people had camcorders that day. Most onlookers jumped around in an excited fashion.They thought they were watching the deaths of 50 thousand people.The police took them into custody. There were reports of explosives found. All that was found were possible traces of explosives. Most reports were erroneous in the hours after the Twin Towers fell; people were edgy and many mistakes were made.

But they were 5 Israelis. They said that since they were there they documented the event. In Hebrew the bad translation resulted in “we were there to document the event” as if they were there as recorders the hijackers conspiracy. They inferred that now “Americans know what its like”. Since it was Arab shaheeds attacking America in a more dramatic but similar version of what suicide bombers were doing in Israel, indeed now Americans knew how it felt to be like Israelis.

And so after 911 there was a profusion of documents saying that it was Zionists who were behind the 19 Arabs. Remember how radical Islamists like Mohammed Atta feel about Zionists?

One argument parroted was that Israel benefited from 911. I have yet to hear about these benefits??? What were they? Were they oil pipelines to Haifa from Iraq? No pipelines? That Saddam was eliminated? Saddam’s funds to suicide bombers families was negligible. Israel had suicide bombers and gunmen attacking Israelis in the streets; funded by vast amounts of money none traced to Saddam. After Iraq was taken, these attacks still continued another 3 years.

In the end there were no sane reasons for Israel mastermind 911.

Jew haters of all types didnt followup this story for years afterward. I was amazed how no news was invented about this. Perhaps because 911 was well documented they shied away from inventing stories. They tried to connect stories like the attack on the Mexican Congress, roaming bands of Israeli Art Students penetrating high security installations with their portfolios (ha!!!) and the Jewishness of Larry Silverstein. And for the next 8 years they repeated these stories obediently and incessantly in forums, groups and blogs

But there was no new hoaxes invented until recently.

They were working on projects for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Arts Program. Why some were Asian is not explained. How theses artists worked with the hijacked planes is not explained. Nothing is explained fully. Whats inferred is a new aspect of 911 to blame on the Jews. The idea that explosives were placed on all along the floors of the WTC to created the demolition pancake effect is one idea gaining some press later. To so confuse, update the hatred and make honest inquiries into 911 look fringe the Jews needed to be blamed. So artists working in the WTC had to be associated with this. I do hope they sue core of corruption. There is just suspicion placed and the rest is left up to Jews haters to fill in the spaces. It’s just the latest hoax trying to blame 911 on Zionists (code for Jews) since making Jews into scapegoats makes Jew haters well Jew haters.

Now much about 911 needs to be reopened but fringe elements like bigots blaming Zionists or saying the Jews never showed up for work that day make all questioners of the 911 tragedy look like nut cases.

Due to the neo Nazis being in Chippendale, I refreshed my mind yesterday on concentration camps by reading Viktor Frankl’s account of his time in Auschwitz and Dachau and others in Man’s Search For Meaning.  It was completely dire. He outlines the various ways people mentally coped.
He took the fatalist approach and a couple of times he made what seemed to be the “wrong” choices but luckily, those ended up being the right ones and he survived. (eg. to go on a truck or not; to look after typhoid patients and die of that …) It was impossible to know which way to jump, everything was so unpredictable.

When he got out his life was sh*t and his pregnant wife had died in the camps. The thoughts of his wife had been the only thing keeping him going. Basically, it was miserable all the time and excruciating, with just a few brief moments of joy. He said the extreme physical pain and hunger didn’t necessarily reduce everyone to animals — it just unmasked what they were really like: decent or not. He reckoned everyone from all races can be put into those two categories and that being decent takes more effort.

He wrote 20 volumes about his theories afterwards, but it’s condensed as the second part of this book.  When the camp was liberated, he was one of the few Jews to stay in Vienna and he died there. He strongly believed that a whole race wasn’t bad, just individuals.

AUSTIN, MN – When Giselle Stern Hernàndez finished writing her one-woman show, “The Deportee’s Wife,” not in her wildest dreams did she imagine she’d one day perform it for neo-Nazis. 

That would have been like a sick joke or an awful nightmare.

After all, Stern Hernàndez is the daughter of a Polish Jewish father and a Mexican mother – and her play tells of her struggle to bring her Mexican husband back into the U.S. after he was deported to Mexico. 

Yet when Stern Hernàndez took the stage last Thursday at the Riverland Community College here, she found herself standing before a crowd of 120 people – including four neo-Nazis.

Sitting about ten feet ahead of her in the theater’s front-row-center seats were two men and two younger companions wearing black stadium jackets and T-shirts emblazoned with symbols of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), a group that advocates the deportation, “peacefully or by force,” of all people in the U.S. except citizens of “pure White blood.”

Bullhorn Rants

Stern Hernàndez delivered her lines while looking almost directly into the eyes of Sam Johnson, the NSM’s “Unit Leader” in Austin and the organizer in recent months of several attention-getting rallies opposing liberal immigration reform. 

Burly and bald-headed, Johnson is known throughout southern Minnesota for his bullhorn rants at public rallies, his racist outbursts and for wearing swastikas.

In a typical appearance last July, he disrupted a pro-immigration event in Albert Lea by standing close to Mexican migrant workers while shrieking, spittle-mouthed: “You think America’s going to let you get away with this? Not a chance! You don’t belong here, this is our country! Stop taking food out of our children’s mouths! Go home! Good-bye! You’re illegal, get out!”

As the minutes ticked by before her show started, Stern Hernàndez paced around stiffly backstage, sipping bottled water, frozen with fear.  Nervous aides came by periodically, providing her with updates. 

“It didn’t hit my body until someone came and told me they are really here, sitting front row center,” Stern Hernàndez said. “I opened the door to the stage a few times to take a peek and I saw them sitting there. They are big guys and I’m up there by myself. If they wanted to tackle me they easily could.”

Extreme Example 

She took deep breaths and steadied herself by recalling a solemn vow she’d made while writing “The Deportee’s Wife,” which dramatizes the need for progressive U.S. immigration reform.

“I promised myself that I would start entering spaces that were a little more unfriendly,” Stern Hernàndez said. “This was an extreme example of that, but it’s all about walking the talk. It’s a part of my role.” 

So at 7 p.m. sharp she strode to center stage and delivered the play’s first line: “I wasn’t really listening for many years.” She told the story of meeting her husband, Mexican-born Roberto, and falling in love with him because he “smiled with integrity and he laughed honestly.”

She confessed in her monologue to sometimes less-than-noble motivations for hooking up with Roberto: “I loved having an undocumented boyfriend. I thought it made me look edgy, cosmopolitan.” At the same time she admitted that back then, “Mexico to me was a scary, dirty country my mother had had the good sense to leave.” 

Her play recounts how in 2001 Roberto, married to her but without a valid visa, was during a single shattering day discovered, deported back to Mexico, and barred from re-entering the U.S. for 20 years.

Automatic Pilot 

The couple’s ensuing Kafkaesque struggles with the U.S. Immigration Service to win permanent residency for Roberto – while at the same time trying to save their marriage from a system straining with its every fiber to break them apart — is the play’s gripping theme.

Her mind racing and her heart beating, Stern Hernàndez was on automatic pilot for the first 15 minutes of the show, she said. 

She was just mouthing the words as her mind raced, trying to decide whether to catch the gaze of the neo-Nazis in the front row, staring at her intensely.

She was even calculating the odds of her survival. 

“I was wondering ‘Are they going to jump me? Do they have a gun?’ Their body postures were scary. They wanted me to see their T-shirts and they were very open in their postures, as if they could jump up any time.”

But then, quite suddenly, something changed.

In an instant she saw the men sitting in the front row not as neo-Nazis but rather as human beings, perhaps suffering ones like herself. 

Soft Eyes 

“At that point I got my control back,” Stern Hernàndez said. “I said to myself ‘I’m going to start looking at them, and I’m going to look at them with love in my eyes.’ I looked at them with soft eyes for the rest of the show and it was a conscious decision, very purposeful.”

Whatever happened, it did the trick. The show ended without a hitch. That included the Q&A at the end of the show, when Stern Hernàndez sat on stage and answered questions audience members had written on cards. 

Kirsten Lindbloom, the chairwoman of the Austin Human Rights Commission, which brought Stern Hernàndez to Austin, said “The Deportee’s Wife” fulfilled the commission’s goal to offer a “soft voice” forum for discussing charged immigration issues in public.

“This year we’ve had four rallies which were loud, where people are standing with bullhorns yelling at each other, and people are getting arrested,” Lindbloom said. “As a commission we are not willing to be in discussion at that level.” The show last Thursday was co-sponsored by the The Advocates for Human Rights.

Immigration is a major issue in Austin because several large employers in town rely heavily on immigrant labor – mainly Hormel Foods, which is based in Austin, but also Quality Pork and Weyerhaeuser.  

Swastika Patches

The non-white population of the Austin Public School District has doubled in the past eight years, to 31.8 percent this year from 15.2 percent in 2001, Lindbloom says. Young families account for most of that increase, and one elementary school already has a majority of non-white children, she said.

Long a site of anti-immigration activity, 2009 was an especially busy year in Austin with Johnson and other neo-Nazis, garbed in all-black paramilitary fatigues and swastika shoulder patches, staging multiple rallies there and throughout southeast Minnesota.

The rallies have captured widespread attention in the blogosphere; inspired local newspaper editorials decrying Johnson and the NSM; and sparked a debate between bloggers and newspaper journalists over how to responsibly write about racist provocateurs like Johnson and the NSM.

The progressive Minnesota blog Bluestem Prairie published a three-part series documenting the NSM’s activities, as well as quotes from a 90-minute interview with Johnson in which he asserted that “minorities should not be citizens,” that “white people are better than black people in terms of intelligence,” and that the Talmud is a “filthy” document that advocates sexually abusing gentile girls.

During the Q&A at the end of “The Deportee’s Wife,” one or two of the questions sounded as if they’d been written by the men in the front row.

Greater Hopes

One of those questions was: “Is this play an attempt to gain sympathy for your Marxist ideals and to push for open borders?”

To which Stern Hernàndez replied: “I’m not here to change anyone’s feelings. People come feeling one way and leave feeling that way. I’m here to make people think. I want you to feel uncomfortable.”

The next day though, after an early morning run, Stern Hernàndez admitted to harboring higher hopes for her art.

“I was thinking ‘You may pretend to not be listening, but something of what I’m saying will make you think of me and Roberto in the future. It’s going to bump up against everything you know and believe in. It’s a love story. So if you love someone or ever loved someone, you know.”

What else was she thinking on her morning run?

“I’m happy to be alive and to be here. I was always told that my physical safety was not at risk. But it’s different when you are on stage, and Roberto was so far away.”

Unlike David Duke, these characters aren’t even trying to hide it:

A year after President Obama’s election, hate groups are feeling bolder than they have in over a decade, and their usually insular anger is beginning to spill into the public realm. This weekend, the National Socialist Movement, a neo-Nazi organization, held rallies in Arizona and Minnesota. Those demonstrations came on the heels of similar actions in Southern California, where epithet-spewing white supremacists were forced to disband by rock-throwing counter-protesters. The upsurge in visibility is more than anecdotal—law-enforcement officials are monitoring levels of agitation among extremist groups that they say are the highest since Timothy McVeigh’s deadly attack in Oklahoma City nearly 15 years ago.

The outcries of right-wing tea-partiers, death panellers, birthers, and the like are accompanied by increased activity all along the paranoid fringe.

AS racial tensions in Adelaide escalate, a white supremacist group is planning family fun days and using music to lure young people to its cause.

The South Australian chapter of “white racialist” group Blood and Honour Australia will hold a Christmas barbecue for like-minded people this month, in a “family-friendly environment”.

The group is promoting the event as its “white Xmas”.

The like-minded apparently excludes Asians, Africans, Indians, Jews, Arabs and other racial groups, as well as those with partners from these groups.

The national group, linked to international chapters, promotes music as the “powerful medium” of white resistance.

“We hold regular gigs around Australia for all those interested to attend and subsequently help a strong resistance grow,” its website said. “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”

Social Inclusion Commissioner Monsignor David Cappo has highlighted racism as a growing issue.

YouTube clips linked to Blood and Honour Australia feature violent clashes and highlight anti-Australia protests overseas – apparently to justify vilifying ethnic groups.

“In these dark times it’s our children’s future that is paramount and ultimately that’s what we’re all working for,” the website said. The group also holds regular “community building functions”.

Forums on its website and others linked to it have drawn comment on the stabbing death of Sudanese father Akol “Alex” Akok, 25, at suburban Ottoway last month. A spokesman for acting state Multicultural Affairs Minister Paul Holloway said he was reluctant to comment and give publicity to any such group.

Police could not say if they were monitoring the group, or its website. The group did not respond to interview requests yesterday.

Blood and Honour South Australian Section did not respond to email requests from The Advertiser for comment yesterday.

Melbourne media reported this weekend on a meeting of the group attended by members from across the country, particularly Adelaide, describing it as “resembling a scene from Romper Stomper”.

It was during the Gaza War. On the forums I frequent there was a major offensve by Jew haters to report every distortion, disinformation, outright lie and negative report from Arab, and White Supremacist sources.
It was an avalanche of bad PR. I was  prepared for the content but not the volume. This was generally a repeat of the 2006 Hezbullah War in terms of Jew hatred actions on the forums. Jew haters in forums are a melange of White Supremacists, Christian Identity, Klan types, White Power types.Aryan Nations fans, Neo Nazis (can leave them out),  Bible thumpers, independent bigots, outraged leftists (the naive ones), liberals (more naive types) and some who pretend to be liberal but turn out to be fring right wing. There a almost no Muslims or Arabs. Most cheer for blood and more blood. Many cheer for Jewish blood.
The clarion call was to boycott Israel for its “crimes” in Gaza. It was repeated in in hatefest perpetually.
I read some new press on Israel model Bar Rafael. So all I added were the words. “GO AHEAD BOYCOTT ISRAEL”. You neverheard such misogynist and sex cries of horror. Studly flesh gazing bigots were all turned into ministers and priest instantly. I was amazing. And that quieted the remarks perceivably.

Nun-sense

Via Secret History, comes a link to an introduction to the work of Sor Teresa Forcades, a Benedictine nun from Barcelona with a doctorate in Public Health and a Masters in Divinity under her habit. Sor Teresa in the 21st century, like the great Mexican nun Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz in the 17th century, is annoying the official church with her intellectual defense of the rights of woman and of free inquiry.

“God has placed the life of the fetus while it is not viable in the hands of its mother [...] Because of this intimate link of the mother and the child while it is not viable outside of her, the decision to abort is inseparable from the mother’s self-determination, from her personal freedom. This intimate link between two lives means that the life of the child cannot be saved against the wishes of the mother without violating her liberty.”

These statements come from Sister Teresa Forcades, who … has already expressed similar opinions in other public appearances and has gone twice to Venezuela to participate in activities related to liberation theology and feminism, where she was well-received by the chavistas.

Nonsensible solutions

One has to wonder what Sor/Dr. Theresa would say about the stupidity of limiting public health care to “legal” residents:

Rather timidly, President Obama has suggested that the children of illegal immigrants might have to be considered an exception to the rule, since they will inevitably come in contact with the offspring of legal citizens. He didn’t explain how unvaccinated and infected adults would avoid contact with their own children, or how they would avoid passing the virus on to the people they serve in the businesses and industries that employ them by the millions. And of course, the Centers for Disease Control is wisely ignoring such invidious distinctions and is now urging everyone, regardless of status, to get vaccinated as soon as the medication is available.

That everyone tolerates the current emergency exception, regardless of ideology, reveals much about the furious resistance to healthcare for the undocumented. Public health experts and many health economists have always considered that bipartisan opposition to be stupid as well as cruel.

Stop making sense

Extreme right wing racist site, “The Political Cesspool” (at least it’s truth in advertising!) in a backhanded way undercuts the argument against same sex marriage.  I don’t link to racist sites, but it’s easy enough to find.

Keith Bardwell is a Justice of the Peace in Louisiana who’s in the national news because he refuses to issue marriage licenses to interracial couples based on his moral beliefs. He’s being denounced everywhere [obligatory fascist anti-Semitic tirade deleted]…

What’s shocking is the absolute silence from the “family values” crowd, who should be all over the media demanding that Bardwell be allowed to follow his moral beliefs, because nobody should have to choose between their job and their conscience. After all, isn’t that what they want for people who oppose gay marriage? They keep raising the specter of court clerks being fired if they refuse to issue a marriage license to two men if gay marriage is legal, or a judge being removed from office for refusing to perform a same sex ceremony. They tell us that this would be a terrible tragedy, and a real blow to religious freedom in America.

The justification offered for the new military bases in Colombia is the “war on drugs.” The fact that the justification is even offered is remarkable. Suppose, for example, that Colombia, or China, or many others claimed the right to establish military bases in Mexico to implement their programs to eradicate tobacco in the U.S., by fumigation in North Carolina and Kentucky, interdiction by sea and air forces, and dispatch of inspectors to the U.S. to ensure it was eradicating this poison–which is, in fact, far more lethal even than alcohol, which in turn is far more lethal than cocaine or heroin, incomparably more than cannabis. The toll of tobacco use is truly fearsome, including “passive smokers” who are seriously affected though they do not use tobacco themselves. The death toll overwhelms the lethal effects of other dangerous substances.

The idea that outsiders should interfere with U.S. production and distribution of these murderous poisons is plainly unthinkable. Nevertheless, the U.S. justification for carrying out such policies in South America is accepted as plausible. The fact that it is even regarded as worthy of discussion is yet another illustration of the depth of the imperial mentality, and the abiding truth of the doctrine of Thucydides that the strong do as they wish and the weak suffer as they must–while the intellectual classes spin tales about the nobility of power. Leading themes of history, to the present day.

Despite the outlandish assumptions, let us agree to adopt the imperial mentality that reigns in the West–virtually unchallenged, in fact, not even noticed. Even after this extreme concession, it requires real effort to take the “war on drugs” pretext seriously.

A sense of what it’s like…

It’s not just Mexicans and Colombians who find that the U.S. drug culture (and the attempts to change the culture through coercion)negatively impacting justice and legitimate law enforcement.

Unscrupulous real estate lenders, buyers and investment brokers who dot the local landscape might want to send a little thank you note to Mexican drug cartels and smuggling rings. That’s because the latter is distracting prosecutors and police resources.

Lee Stein, a white collar defense attorney with the Phoenix office of the Perkins Coie Brown & Bain law firm, said prosecutors are interested in pursuing all kinds of white collar cases — from Medicare, mortgage scams and Ponzi schemes to fraud related to the stimulus program. The rise in such crimes is a reaction to the economy, said Stein, a former federal prosecutor.

But that interest does not translate to reality for states that border Mexico. Drug trafficking, organized crime, smuggling and immigration cases take up a huge portion of police and prosecutor resources in states such as Arizona.

“It’s sucking up a lot of the resources out of it,” said Stein.

This photo from the Hezbollah Lebanon War shows Israeli youngsters signing missiles. Over and over descriptions indicated that these kids were signing weapons with evil intent that were destined to be fired into Lebanon. This doesnt make sense. as no Israeli parents would ever let children touch live ammunition, The missiles were actually spent rockets that were launched by Hezbollah at the Israelis. These rockets kept Israelis in bomb shelters the length of the entire war. So the youngsters were “peace-ifying’ the used weapons with words and flowers. That conclusion contrasts with the media coverage of the event. All reports erroneously or maliciously only mentioned the false propaganda of kids signing missiles destined for Lebanon. It was only in 2009 that I finally read the truth of “peaceifying” spent ammo!!! Common sense here took a backseat to bias, prejudice, ignorance and hatred.

Christianity had its Protestant Reformation. It has the Counter Catholic Reformation. It had the Enlightenment, The Age of Reason. Confined to the medieval Ottoman Empire Islam calcified. So upon the advent of the colonizations from the Europeans Islamic culture adopted Western ideals superficially in order to function. But the Arabs in the Arabian Peninsula continued to stagnate isolated from the West. So When the Jews arrived in Palestine they realized that their frozen beliefs could not survive against Western ideals and culture they could only react violently. They attacked what they thought was the source of decadence and temptation…the Jews. Today the entire Muslim Arab world has been thrust into modern society. So is it a wonder how a crumbling warrior society results in bomb plots around the world and efforts to bring in Sharia. They make absurd compromises not really seeing the incongruity. If it’s pointed out they react with furor. What is sad is that they are just interpretations with patriarchal roots. They suppress women in head to toe psychological prisons that pretend to be custom. These values clash with Western society. They are not compatible with modernity.

Weniger führt nach Angaben der radikal-esoterischen Splitterpartei ein “Bündnis rauchfreie Gastronomie” an, welchem angeblich 500 Wirte angehören sollen. Leider findet man nirgendwo eine Liste dieser “500″ Wirte. Insofern kann man, wie bei allen Zahlen die Antiraucher veröffentlichen, getrost von maßloser Übertreibung, wenn nicht gar Lüge ausgehen.

Das ist aber nicht das Einzige, was der Wirt des “Gasthaus Sonne” im bayerischen Straubing so treibt. 1998 war er, wie Spiegel Online berichtet, auf Platz 2 der bayerischen Kandidatenliste der ultrarechten DVU (Deutsche Volks Union) gelistet, direkt nach deren Boss und Ex-Chef der Republikaner Franz Schönhuber.

Will uns also die ÖDP, deren ultra-konservative Wurzeln unbestreitbar sind, Ultra-Rechte Politiker unterjubeln? Alles unter dem Deckmäntelchen des Kampfes für totale Rauchverbote?

War es doch Adolf Hitler, der sich von Fritz Lickint die Passivrauchlüge erfinden ließ. Hitler, militanter Antiraucher, plante nach Abschluss des 2. Weltkriegs das Rauchen deutschlandweit verbieten zu lassen. Der “Führer” unterstützte eine Antirauchergruppe im Dritten Reich und schrieb des öfteren Grußworte in deren Zeitschrift “Reine Luft”.

Links im Bild ist eine Werbung aus der Zeitschrift “Reine Luft”. Zugegeben: Die heutigen Antiraucher behaupten nicht, dass jüdische Menschen gute Deutsche zum Rauchen verführen. Heute hat die Antitabak-Lobby andere Opfer, die sie stigmatisiert.

Schließt sich so der Kreis vom Dritten Reich zu den heutigen Antiraucher-Fanatikern?

    Copenhagen (BH) – Moments after the International Olympic Committee announced that Chicago had been eliminated as a host site for the 2016 Olympic games, a group of US politicians, celebrities, and media figures held a press conference to protest the decision as “based on racism.”   The group, which includes two former US Presidents, distributed a release with the headline:  “I.O.C. and K.K.K. are not O.K. with the U.S.A.”

     President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle, and talk show host Oprah Winfrey - all Chicagoans – had traveled to Denmark in the hope that their popularity would lend some star appeal to the Windy City’s bid to serve as the locale for the games.  Conservatives have criticized Obama’s decision to appeal directly to the I.O.C. as “unpresidential,” and even many of Obama’s supporters considered it politically risky.

     Former US Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were joined on the dais by US Representative Barney Frank (D-MA),  comedians Bill Maher and Janeane Garafalo, and Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker.     

     Jacques Rogge, president of the I.O.C., announced the selection of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil today, using what the group’s press release called “the thinly-veiled rhetoric of bigotry.”

    ”I would like to congratulate the city of Rio de Janeiro on its election as the host of the 2016 Games,” Rogge said.   “Rio de Janeiro presented the IOC with a very strong technical bid.”

     At the hastily-assembled press conference, President Clinton decried Rogge’s words as “obviously dripping with racial hatred.”  Garafalo, star of the film The Truth About Cats and Dogs, agreed.  She characterized Rogge, the IOC’s 15-member executive board, and it’s 108 voting members as ”just another mongoloid tea party redneck mob,” and compared their decision to ”a cross burning on the lawn of the White House and the set of Oprah.” 

    Former President Carter weighed in, inexplicably railing against the USSR, which was officially dissolved in 1991 when the presidents of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus signed the Belavezha Accords.  Members of the group shifted uncomfortably in their seats as Carter leveled a series of harsh accusations against the late Premier of the former Soviet Union, Leonid Brezhnev, who died in 1982; the single-term democrat called the committee’s decision “a deliberate effort by a powerful atheistic government to subjugate an independent Islamic people” that he called “a stepping stone to Soviet control over Afghanistan’s oil supplies.”  He ended his remarks by solemnly declaring, ”It is for this and other reasons that I have made the difficult diplomatic decision to keep our athletes home from the games in Moscow.”   

     One of Carter’s aids gently led him away by the hand at this point.  “It’s the jet lag,” the unidentified nurse explained as she slipped a pill into the former president’s mouth. 

    Comedian Bill Maher, host of HBO’s “Real Time,” stated,  “To turn down this President, to vote against Chicago after that majestic speech he gave, would the I.O.C.  have done that if it was a white President? I don’t think so.  I think this is an international committee who thinks, ‘We can choose whatever city we want when it’s a black guy asking.’”

     Congressman Barney Frank cited what he perceives as an economic edge to the committee’s racism, saying, “The I.O.C. gets to take things out on poor people,” He said. “Let’s be honest: The fact that some of the athletes are black doesn’t hurt them either, from their standpoint. This is an effort, I believe, to appeal to a kind of anger in people.”

    Columnist Kathleen Parker was the last to speak for the group.  She underscored what, in her view, is a geographical dimension to ”the racial prejudice” against President Obama.  ”I’m just saying that there’s this subliminal level of communication that goes on,” she explained.  “The Southern strategy has always been — well, since they stopped using the N-word and being explicit about what they’re trying to do with race and, you know, creating this “us versus them” dynamic, it became increasingly vague through the years.  And you can’t get much more Southern than South America, am I right?”

     Not everyone attributes the failure of Chicago’s Olympic bid to racism, however.  One member of the executive board who asked not to be named said she and others objected to the President’s opening joke.  ”As I begin, let me say this to the distinguished members of the International Olympic Committee,” Obama said, smiling broadly.  “Please vote for Chicago.  If you choose Madrid, Tokyo, or Rio de Janeiro, you’ll be lucky if you can pull off the Special Olympics.”

     When several in the audience gasped, the President looked around incredulously and asked, “What?  What?  What did I say?  Tough room!” 

     California First Lady Maria Shriver, daughter of Special Olympics founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver, issued a statement expressing disappointment in the president’s remark.  ”President Obama made a similar joke in March while on The Tonight Show.  My mother died five months later.  While I am confident that President Obama never intended to offend or kill anyone, both of his comments about this important event demonstrate the need to continue to educate the non-disabled community on the issues that confront those with a developmental disability.” 

     Presidents Clinton and Carter, Bill Maher, Janeane Garafalo, and Kathleen Parker have since released a second statement to the media, accusing Maria Shriver of serving as the “bigoted mouthpiece for the Neo-Nazis and Klansmen who populate middle America and hate this president simply because he is an African-American.”

     London, England will host the next Olympic Games in 2012.
