The first rule of  fight club is you do not talk about fight club… the legendary dialogue from the movie Fight Club. Hollywood has made some  really cool and awesome movies on Mixed Martial Arts… Fight Club, Never Back Down, Red Belt, each of these leave one awe struck!

All the awesome workout sessions, your head automatically has the Rocky Balboa, “Eye of the Tiger,” playing…  Shootfighters have all of these amazing training sessions, that would transport you to any one of these flicks… strengthening exercises, conditioning, free- running… all of that you can ask for!

“One needs to enjoy what they teach… and I would personally find only striking pretty boring… after sometime plain old kickboxing without grappling, take-downs… gets very boring. Also, in most cases, you are up against more than one opponent… where one person does the hitting, while the others do the holding.” Says Ashwin.

Hmmm, only strikes and kicks seem like so much of a constriction here… one needs to know different techniques and ways to get out of any attack situation. Shootfighters Inc, takes in all the useful martial arts and makes it a part of their course curriculum.

Sounds fun right! Different martial arts, being blended and taught with some really cool moves… but behind all of this is a serious effort made, with tremendous hard work, and passion for Martial arts.

Ashwin has been in constant touch with different people in the world of Martial art, making friends, getting to know their art forms. Many masters do not teach you some art forms that easily… they need to know whether one can handle it. Ashwin had to go through years of patient waiting before he was introduced into numerous arts.

“It is a complete course you need to go through, most teachers do not teach you what part you want and leave the rest… you need to wait it out patiently and get the useful information out. Every martial art has some very useful and amazing techniques, and some may not work.”

With real-time experience of numerous fights, Ashwin knows that one needs to have a multitude of techniques that work.

“My instructors like Siddarth are very good fighters, because they have only learnt techniques that work and nothing else.” Adds Ashwin.

The most tough to capture have been the Indian Martial Arts… these seem to be very well hidden and shrouded, many have been lost and left only to a chosen few., as they need to make sure whether one can wield the power given by the arts.

The organization is doing a lot to preserve and document lesser known Indian martial arts such as Garadi, Vajramushti, Varmakalai, Silammbam so that they don’t die out entirely.

“I had this curiosity to understand and know, why an agriculture based civilization would need Martial Arts. Hunters and gatherers, it is understandable, but Indus Valley Civilization, the first civilization to develop a deep cultural setup of Martial arts was something I wanted to learn about.” Says Ashwin.

The great sages of India like Agastyar, Thirumular, Boghanathar… all of them have made huge contributions to Martial Arts, also incidentally the word ‘Chi‘ is derived from Chivaya (a tamil way of saying Shiva). The insights provided by them in Martial arts is very profound and deep. It set a base for the growth of martial arts all over the world.

“Martial arts, is about being strong, self-defence and all of that… but then there is more to Martial arts… it has a deeper ethereal meaning. When many students had signed up for self-defence or fitness, they continued classes even after achieving fitness and self-defence. Out of sheer curiosity I enquired, and found out that they felt a sense of achievement and strong confidence while be a part of our classes.” Says Ashwin.

Thus, martial arts works directly on the mind of the person, which in turn reflects in the body. “Martial arts is like Kundalini Yoga, where the aim is to achieve enlightenment, thus sages like Agastyar practised the arts. In order to see a mental change, physical vigour need to be done, once there is a mental change it is seen in the spirit… all of them are interconnected. “ Adds Ashwin.

hace mucho tiempo que me pregunto lo mismo, no sé a qué vine a este mundo, nunca hago nada bien, nunca me resultan las cosas que yo quiero, tengo muy mala suerte y aparte de mis familiares no tengo a nadir más que le importe. En lo que llegamos a sentir cuando oímos una canción en particular. La verdadera música es la que te hace sentir, que logra hacerte reflexionar sobre cosas que nunca pensaste.

Tengo la costumbre de caminar mucho, a veces sin un rumbo, solo con mi mp4 y la música que siempre me acompaña. Quiero transmitirles las cosas que puedo sentir con determinadas canciones. Por esta razón, preparé un listado de temas musicales que no pueden faltar a la hora de caminar por Temuco. Después de un par de días y recopilar todos los temas, tomé la determinación de salir a caminar.

Es domingo 1 de noviembre, me preparo a salir. Día gris, aunque a ratos aparecen unos tímidos rayos de sol atraviesan las nubes que parecen no avanzar, sin embargo, no me desanima. Camino hacia el paradero de microbuses que está en el cruce de Avenida Valparaíso y Barros Arana, a tres cuadras de mi casa. Viene una micro 1 variante. Antes que se acerque, me pongo mis audífonos, miro las cuatro monedas que tengo en mi mano y PLAY.

Andrés Valdivia – Encontrar

Tema central de la película chilena ‘Se Arrienda’, protagonizada por Luciano Cruz Coke, donde interpreta a un músico llamado Gastón Fernández. El film trata de cómo el entorno social de Gastón cambia costumbres, modas y personalidades con el pasar del tiempo. Sin embargo, el personaje de Cruz-Coke no ha transado para nada sus ideales forjados en los ’80, no obstante, sus amigos se han vendido al sistema.

No sé si la película condicionó los momentos que estoy viviendo, pero su melodía melancólica apunta a la extraña forma que tienen de actuar las personas, cómo éstas cambian con el tiempo. Un fragmento de la canción dice: “Te perdiste en un momento, te escondiste en un lugar, donde ya no hay recuerdos, no te puedes encontrar”. Claramente te hace sentir en la más pura soledad y sólo inspira caminar, pero voy en el bus y toda la gente a mi alrededor tiene cara de preocupación y parecen absolutamente desganados, haciendo las cosas por inercia, siguiendo una rutina a la que, lamentablemente, todos están sometidos.

Cristián Heyne – El Fin de la Fiesta

Este artista definitivamente es una motivación, un ejemplo a seguir, es periodista y productor musical. Este es otro tema perteneciente a la banda sonora de la película anteriormente mencionada. Un silencio de calle tipo 4 de la madrugada en pleno invierno y comienza una melancólica melodía de teclado y los sintetizadores invaden la pasividad del ritmo anterior con una especie de misterio, cambian la forma de observar todo. Una necesidad de salir de donde estoy hace levantarme del asiento y toco el timbre para bajar. Piso la vereda y me siento extraño ¿qué hago aquí?.

Coldplay – Trouble

Clásico tema de esta banda británica perteneciente al disco ‘Parachutes’ (2000). La traducción del nombre de la canción es; “problema”. Las calles parecen estar vacías, camino a paso lento por cerca del mercado (Rodríguez – Bulnes) “Singing I, never meant to cause you trouble, And I, never meant to do you wrong, And I, well if I ever caused you trouble, Oh, no I never meant to do you harm” (‘Cantando, nunca quise causarte problemas, nunca quise hacerte mal, Y yo, bueno si alguna vez te causé problemas aunque nunca quise hacerte daño’) Un hombre con bastones al que le falta una pierna cruza la calle con dificultad. Me entristece saber que a veces nos acomplejamos por cosas tan pequeños que no asimilamos los reales problemas de la vida, la pobreza, la discapacidad, en fin.

Jason Mraz – I’m Yours

Uno de los solistas más destacados del mercado musical norteamericano. Comenzó su carrera en el 2002, rápidamenente llegó a los primeros lugares de los rankings europeos, con fuertes influencias del jazz, hiphop, rock y country Jason Mraz compusó esta balada romántica, no soy muy asiduo a este género, pero bueno, es parte del experimento. Hay una parte que me logra sacar una carcajada porque lo he hecho: “I’ve been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror and bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer, but my breath fogged up the glass and so I drew a new face and laughed” que en español quiere decir: “He gastando mucho tiempo viendo mi lengua en el espejo y siendo honesto solo para verlo claro, pero mi aliento empaña el vidrio y por eso dibujo una nueva cara y río”. Estoy parado cerca del famoso “Shopdog” de calle Bulnes y veo a un señor tocando arpa y una niña pequeña de unos diez años con una cara de felicidad al ver ejecutar el instrumento con tal destreza. Le tomo algunas fotografías y sigo mi camino.

Katy Perry – Hot&Cold

La canción me provoca inmediatamente una sonrisa ¿ésta música en mi reproductor? Vaya. Estaba apunto de entrar a la Galería Massman, pero vi a un grupo de evangélicos casi en la esquina de calle Montt con Bulnes. Un hombre hablaba con suma emoción. Sin embargo, no le entendía nada. Todo el grupo me miró con cara de “Oh! un joven interesado”, pero en el fondo no estaba ni ahí, procedí a seguir mi rumbo. Llegando a la salida por calle Prat, me encontré con la vitrina de Almacenes París, con maniquíes vestidos con ropa top: no sé por qué razón me imaginé a la cantante con esa ropa caminando y cantando (jaja).

Enamorado de Ti – Glup

Grupo chileno que a mi parecer, marcó una época, sobre todo con este tema. Una chica bien parecida pasa junto a mí y la situación es digna de videoclip. Estoy parado al borde de la berma esperando a que el semáforo pase a verde para cruzar, ella se para a mi lado, le hago un scanner visual, ella me mira como si fuera un bicho raro. “Y aquí estoy yo, con mis ojos, y ahí estoy yo junto a ti…” cruzamos la calle y, extrañamente, caminamos paralelos, como si anduviéramos juntos, pero no (cuack!). Ella entró a Almacenes París, yo debo seguir mi rumbo…

The Verbe – Bitter Sweet Sinphony

Qué coincidencia más grande, uno de los temas que más me gusta para caminar. Algunos dicen que está trillado, pero es un clásico para estos panoramas de improviso. Hablando de la chica que vi entrar a la tienda, la letra de la canción dice: “Cause it’s a bitter sweet symphony, this life. Try to make ends meet you’re a slave money” (porque esta vida es una sinfonía agridulce, intentas saldar cuentas, eres un esclavo del dinero) Mucha gente de shopping, no saben disfrutar de un día normal, pareciera que el hecho de gastar dinero los hace felices, pero no disfrutan de las cosas simples que hay a nuestro alrededor.

Maná – En el Muelle de San Blas

Extrañamente comienzo a poner enfocar mí atención en las mujeres que caminan solas, con bolsas de supermercado, con caras de preocupación, algunas con niños que parecen ser madres solteras. Camino a paso lento por calle Montt en dirección a Avenida Caupolicán, de pronto me veo solo, tanto así como si fuera el fin del mundo. Llego al cruce, estoy en la división más clara de sectores de la ciudad, en la intersección de Avenida Caupolicán con Montt, me encamino hacia Avenida Alemania.

Galatea – Caminos

Tema central de la película chilena ‘Desierto Sur’, el caminar solo ya no me molesta “Descubrir que el sol es de donde estás, refleja horizontes que no veras, sin avanzar deprisa, descubrir que nada es casualidad…” Todos vivímos situaciones en la vida que pueden ser muy dolorosas, otras muy felices, siempre esperamos que pase algo bueno, sin embargo, no ocurre, si no buscamos nada, la vida nos sorprende, dándonos lo que más queremos. En ese momento nos damos cuenta que nada es casualidad.

Orishas – A lo Cubano

Estoy entrando al denominado alter hour de los universitarios, esa calle abarrotada de locales nocturnos; cierro los ojos y pienso en el viernes por la noche, rodeado de gente y tragos por donde quiera que observe: “A lo cubano, botella de ron, tabaco habano, chicas por doquier bonche en casa de huano, aquí hay bebida para los mareados”. Ojalá fuera viernes ya, pero volvamos a la realidad. Abro los ojos y me encuentro de frente con la universidad mayor, a pocos metros de la entrada caminan hacia mi tres chicas rubias en línea, me las imaginé con un trago cada una y caminando hacia mí (jajaja).

Metallica – Turn the Page

Definitivamente parece tema central de una película del lejano oeste, onda “Jóvenes Pistoleros”. Esta canción es poco conocida la descubrí al buscar en los temas más antiguos de la banda “You can think about the woman, or the girl you knew the night befote”(“puedes pensar en la mujer que conociste anoche”) Por Favor, por lo menos yo, no puedo pensar en una chica con una música así (jaja). No deja de darme vueltas en la cabeza la imagen de un vaquero cabalgando en dirección al sol.

Marc Anthony – Ahora Quién

Una balada romántica con ritmo de salsa, música “happy”, pero su lírica, es por decirlo de alguna forma “cebollera”, me acercó a un paradero, en donde hay un afiche de candidatura a diputado de la alianza, en la fotografía aparece Sebastián Piñera con una rara expresión(jajaja), junto a él un diputado que no recuerdo su nombre, pero se parece a “Guillermo Venegas” (Sí, el de la legendaria serie de TVN) con una cara de enojado, o tal vez estreñimiento. La verdad no sé quién les dijo que posaran así.

Bj Thomas – Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head

Cada vez que uno ve una película llama la atención la música que utilizan para algunas escenas, para provocarte una carcajada o todo lo contrario, misterio, incluso causarte miedo. La cosa es que este tema me recuerda la escena de un largometraje que estuvo de moda ¿recuerdan ‘Spiderman II’? Cuando Peter Parker camina por las calles de la ciudad con aire de nerd y tropieza, bueno, eso me vino a la mente cuando escuché esta canción. Sin las gotas de agua cayendo sobre mí cabeza asocié la música con la felicidad de todos los niños que circulaban a mí alrededor, algunos riendo con sus padres, otros caminando con tanta despreocupación, como si nada les pudiera hacer sentir tristes.

Lenny Kravitz – I Belong To You

Parejas de novios por donde quiera que observe, llama verdaderamente la atención cómo las melodías te guían y te abren los 5 sentidos para poner atención en unas cosas por sobre otras. Eso refleja que la realidad ante nuestros ojos es muy amplia, y obviamente, nunca observamos todo, es imposible, por lo menos para mí es increíble cómo la música condiciona los eventos que ocurren ante mí. Camino de improviso al cruce de Avenida Alemania con calle Hochstetter.

Soda Stereo – Ciudad de la Furia

Simplemente ciudad de la furia. “me veras volar por la ciudad de la furia, donde nadie sabe de mí y yo soy parte de todos” sigo mi rumbo sin pensar en nada, sólo me dejo llevar por la rítmica de la música, apuro el paso, como si alguien me siguiera. ¿extraño no?.

Shogun – Transformación

Otro proyecto del anteriormente mencionado Cristián Heyne, a decir verdad, la rítmica es monótona solo un par de efectos distorsionan a ratos la melodía. A mitad del tema la música cambia es como tenebrosa, sonidos extraños te ponen alerta para con el entorno. A pesar de estar en un barrio súper tranquilo, rodeado de edificios departamentales ABC1 y a plena luz del día me siento inseguro, como si algo me fuera a ocurrir. Llegué al cruce de Hochstetter con León Gallo, estoy frente al Estadio German Becker y la música en mí reproductor se acabó STOP.

El experimento al parecer dio resultado. Si bien la música que seleccioné para esta ocasión fue muy “aleatoria”, ya que algunos temas escapan a mis gustos musicales, pero ya habrá tiempo para eso en otro momento.

The 21st century Fight Club, without the brain-busting plot.

When Sean Arthur (Channing Tatum),an unmotivated young man who hustles counterfeit merchandise in New York City, meets seasoned street-fighting coach Harvey Boarden (Terrence Howard) by chance, his whole life changes. Sean’s fights are dangerous, but he sets out to win the prize money at stake and the respect of those around him.

When I first saw this film I was saying “Oh god they decided to rip off The Karate Kid and put it along with Never Back Down”, but when I actually watched the film I was a little surprised.

The fights of this movie are mainly the strong point of the film. The scenes are heavily stylized and aren’t as great until you realize they have a certain life or death consequence to actually winning them, is when you start to get into them. They are filmed very realistically of how you would feel in a fight and you can just feel the excitement with these numerous fight scenes.

The fights also feel genuine, cause it shows that in the middle of a fight when you do get hit, it actually does hurt and it’s not something you just shrug off and get right back up of. There is a sense of realism within these fights and it makes the movie a whole lot of a better ride.

The only problem that when these fight scenes aren’t occurring, there isn’t much really going on. The plot starts to meander and go between two stories of Tatum and his love for a waitress, his personal struggles with his father, and his relationship with Terence Howard. I felt like there were way too many scenes of this and it just became way too boring.

Surprisingly the strong point of this film lies within it’s charming performance from Channing Tatum. He show’s that he actually can act and carry a movie with the type of star-quality that many actors do have in big-time Hollywood. Terence Howard also turns in a very different performance, that was good but i couldn’t really tell what his intentions were at times throughout the movie, and he didn’t seem all that too interesting as he could’ve been.

Consensus: Fighting has a very charming performance from Tatum, and features some stylized excited fight sequences. But the film starts to become a little too boring when it’s plot starts to unravel.

En ocasiones el presente se hace tan pesado de llevar que lo único que quieres es desaparecer, la soledad me tiene mal. Soy un Ermitaño de tomo y lomo, pero no me gusta, he buscado y no he encontrado a esa chica que me nuble los sentidos y todos los sentimientos sean mutuos , ya estoy aburrido de mi entorno, me satura. No quiero estar solo. no es que necesite amigos o cariño de mi familia; necesito el cariño de alguna chica. Quiero dejar de sentirme solo.

Aquí estoy, creando este nuevo soporte para expresar las cosas que ocurren en mi diario vivir, además de usar esto como una forma de descargar emociones.

As the fighters enter each new world they battle that universe’s native defenders, while the force that brought them seeks to find a way to invade and infect our world. Hmm, doesn’t seem very faithful to the games to me, eh.

Naturally the game is based on the long-running “The King of Fighters” franchise of fighting games by SNK Playmore. A series which is on it’s 12th core entry with The King of Fighters XII and has spawned a whopping 13 spin-off games. To put that into perspective, the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter franchises are still in single digits (Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe is the 8th MK game while Street Fighter is on it’s fourth CORE entry with Street Fighter IV, even though there’s been tons of spin-offs and re-releases).

Chan, a dynamic Hong-Kong-born director who is known for films like Fist of legend, Beast Cop and Jackie Chan’s 2003 flick The Medallion. The screenplay is by newcomer Rita Augustine.

As far as actors are concerned, The King of Fighters will star Maggie Q (Live Free and Die Hard), Sean Faris (Never Back Down), Will Yun Lee (Elektra), Francoise Yip (Aliens vs. Predator – Requiem), Monique Ganderton (Supernatural) and Ray Park, best known for his portrayal as Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

Producing the movie will be Joseph Chou (Appleseed: Ex Machina), Tim Kwok (Wicked City) and Bobby Sheng. The picture is being jointly financed by Japanese production and rights management group Micott & Basara and Australian-U.S. sales agent Arclight/Easternlight.

Director jumps from one Summit project to another

Jeff Wadlow and Summit Entertainment remain in business together, but they’ve chosen a different project.
Wadlow has come on to direct “Arena,” a sci-fi action film that he began developing with Summit a few months ago.
The director, who helmed the 2008 release “Never Back Down” for the studio, had been working on the prison-escape action project “The Tomb” for Summit. When that project stalled, Summit exercised an option on the helmer’s services and moved him to “Arena.”
“Arena” revolves around a group of modern-day soldiers transported to a shifting landscape, where they are forced to face off against the best warriors from different eras in gladitorial battle. Frosh scribes Toby Wagstaff and Darren Howell wrote the screenplay, which Summit optioned in April 2008.
Chris Bender and J.C. Spink of BenderSpink and Jim Thompson of Original Content are producing along with Alex Franklin and Jonah Loop of Pangea Pictures. Summit’s Erik Feig and Geoff Shaevitz are overseeing.
Summit recently released “Twilight,” “Push,” “Knowing” and “Next Day Air.” It has the “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon,” in production for a November release.
The WME-repped Wadlow also co-wrote and directed “Cry Wolf.”

I just lost four teeth.  I got into a fight with an oral surgeon.  He knocked me out with a left hook to the…  vein in my right arm.  It took about 45 seconds.  The last question I remember was the anesthesiologist asking me if I’m a cheap date.  ”Oh yeah,” I said, “One glass of wine on an empty stomach and I’m out.”

The next thing I remember is my mouth feeling like a giant cement ball and the nurse trying to help me put my long-sleeved shirt back on over my tank top.  I hadn’t been wearing it to begin with, I thought to myself; but I was too zonked to fight.  She walked me into the main hallway and sat me down on a padded bench.  I remember she put a cushion behind my back.  That was nice.  Then she went to get Ryan.

Ryan says I was really cute when he saw me – totally out of it and trying to type into my cellphone.  I was updating my facebook status.  I guess I’m a little addicted.

So the nurse told Ryan all the important stuff about how I’m supposed to recover from surgery and take care of the giant holes in my gums.  I don’t remember much of it because all I was concerned about was getting a drink of water.  I think I asked by motioning with my hands about three or four times.  She patiently reminded me each time that I had to wait until I got home to get a drink of water but once at home I could drink all I want.  My throat was parched.  I remember the drive home feeling rather painful.

Once at home, my first attempt at drinking failed rather miserably.  I couldn’t swallow.  The gauze, the numbness, the saraha desert in my mouth all made it rather difficult to manipulate my oral cavity.  Bloody water ran down my shirt.  I couldn’t even laugh at myself.  Into the bathroom we went to switch out the gauze and try drinking with a mirror.  For some odd reason that seemed to help.

I tried downing some yogurt.  No go.  Ryan left to get my prescribed painkillers (which I have not yet needed).  When he returned I felt hungry so I asked him to make me some scrambled eggs.  I ate about three bites.  The egg was easy to swallow without chewing; but I wasn’t hungry yet.  Ryan finished what I couldn’t eat.

So in order to pass the time while chilling my swollen cheeks, I pulled up one of the Netflix we’ve got in our Instant queue.  Don’t hate.  I chose, you guessed it, “Never Back Down.”

I trained in Mixed Martial Arts back in Vancouver before moving to Los Angeles.  I was able to train for a few months after I moved here at Bally Total Fitness in Hollywood but work and projects precluded me from continuing.  I miss training something awful and was willing to subject myself to a sub-par script just to watch the fighting.  It was worth it.

“Never Back Down” is a quintessential fight film.  A new kid moves to a new city.  He’s got father issues.  The cutest girl is with the meanest guy who turns out to be the new kid’s instant nemesis.  He’s got untrained talent and he needs to learn how to control his emotions.  It’s typical, but at least it works.

The dialog was as poor as expected with characters spouting their emotions at unbelievable moments and cliched pep-talks popping up right on queue; but at least it moved at a quick twenty-first century pace and was well-edited.  Good rhythm.  One other low point for the film was the obvious soundtrack and overuse of noticeable songs.

Now on to the high points.  Sean Faris.  He plays the lead kid and looks (and acts) shockingly like Tom Cruise.  It’s not surprising to me at all to take a look at his IMDb profile and see that he’s got six films in production and one more in development.  Watch this kid.  He’ll be playing Tom Cruise’s former self in a few years.  Mission Impossible IV anyone?

His love interest, the beautiful Scarlett Johansson look-alike, Amber Heard is unfortunately directed as a rather shallow one-note pony.  Did I just mix a few metafors?  It’s the painkillers.  Er, or not.  I think Amber’s got a lot more in her, and again, judging by her IMDb profile, plenty of others agree, including Johnny Depp, against who she plays opposite in the upcoming “The Rum Diaries”.  An actor from our film “The Rock ‘n’ Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher” is also cast in that film – Marshall Bell.  Rock on Marshall!

Back to “Never Back Down” – while the story is simple, the dialog cheddar, and the music obvious, the fights more than make up for it.  This film knows it’s a fight flick and it lives up to its sub-genre gloriously.  There’s a lot of fighting in this film and it’s spaced out well.  We get to see him fight in the first scene of the film.  And it’s kinda believable too.  Also, the director makes interesting use of our new social phenomenon, YouTube and the like, showing us the fight again, from different angle as news of it travels across the inter-web.  Fun.

Once the kid ends up in his new state, things seem hopeful, but he happens upon a little sparring session that he mistakes for a fight, thereby getting himself involved in the rat’s nest of the local passion for mixed martial arts.  The rest of the fights and the training are interspersed throughout the film.  They’re all well-choreographed and shot for fight-lovers.  They’re shot so well in fact that I’d believe that the director, Jeff Wadlow, is a fighter.  Or perhaps it’s his cinematographer, the Swiss Lukas Ettlin, who likes to fight.  Who’s to say?  Regardless, I enjoyed every minute of it – the sparring, the training, the fighting.  Not too much.  Not to little.  Just right.  If you’re a fighter, or you like just mixed martial arts, you’ll enjoy the fighting in this film.  But you won’t see any teeth get knocked out.  They saved that for the match with my oral surgeon today.

I’m happy that I lost my teeth by paying some stranger to knock me out and dig around inside my mouth until they were gone, rather than get in a fight.  I’m really glad that I can watch a film and get the feeling like I did just win a battle and earn the respect of hundreds and the respect of my little brother and I didn’t need to get kicked in the ribs to do it.  I’m rather grateful for my missing teeth that caused me to watch a silly ol’ film and enjoy some champagne grapes (cause they’re the only thing I can swallow right now).

And write.  I’m coherent enough to write.  Or am I?  I haven’t taken the painkillers yet.  I’m still tasting a little blood (perhaps that heightened my “Never Back Down” experience?), but I think my holes are clotting well.  Maybe I’m still experiencing the anesthesia?  Does it make me verbose?  Does it matter?

P.S. Ryan’s a great nurse.  Tell him I said so.

Eller ja, det började igår eftermiddag. En av mina underbara vänner kom hem till mig med varma koppen, mjölk och godis och tvingade i mig lite näring. (levt på thé hela veckan, nästan)

Efter det så orkade jag hålla mig vaken för resten av kvällen och tills sent inatt.

I dag fikk jeg ENDELIG mobilen min. Herregud så deilig. Har jo ikke hatt mobil siden mandag! Mobilen er også bra, det er jo det beste.. I dag har jeg egentlig bare slappa av. Siri kom i 6 tia ca. Godt å se henne igjen Vi bakte brownies. hahha.. De ble litt.. hva skal jeg si? Mindre gode? Bra jeg ikke tok oppi 1L vann da.. det sto egentlig 1dl. Bra Siri fulgte med :p Mens vi smakte på browniesene så vi på never back down. Jeg kan virkelig se den filmen tusen ganger, og den er fremdeles like bra!
