Between Us Only! Supporting The Local Authors! Please Support The Local Authors! Writing is the only

Between Us Only!

Supporting The Local Authors!

Please Support The Local Authors!

Writing is the only profession where no one considers you ridiculous if you earn no money! - Jules Renard

This similar article was written in January 2005 – over 8 years ago! The mere fact that I am writing on the same topic now again – shows nothing much has yet changed that much!

It is commonly said – and repeated over and over again – that the person who really cares and feels for you will tell you the truth – even if you do not like to hear it being told to you! The person who keeps quiet – or goes along with you – even if he knows deep down that what you are doing is wrong and unethical in all accounts – is not your real true friend!

They also say in our Religion that we should not stop saying things which are the truth – even if it will hurt us. There are so many references in the good book and in The Hadith pertaining to this very same topic – and so many cases, examples and references given of our Great Prophet (PBUH) and other examples – rich in history too!

It need to be also said that if Truth was spoken – and people are prepared to hear and listen – and act on them too! – then the world would have been a safer more peaceful place – with more tolerance, co-existence, ‘live and let live’, and patience than now! Whether we want to accept this or not – or go for the ostrich head in the ground approach – it is our own business only – and no one else for that matter! The truth be said – without the necessity of always sugar coating – because the later too does not work either!

I have noted lately that there has been a great support for Arts and Paintings – but with the few exceptions of VIPs books – or books supported by VIPs including opening and launching sessions – the rest of us are still out there in the cold! Especially some of us that write in English as the easier language for us to do! And if you write on topics that people prefer to push under the carpet – or not to hear – then your situation becomes even worse! And that especially when you have compiled your works in books formats – and people can read easily – over and over again!

A few years ago when the poor girl I knew well in my HR Consultancy jobs died – with 9 members of her family in a tragic horrible accident – I was talking with her Manager and was inquiring about her – and why there was a great silence – and nothing coming from her in emails in support and nice comforting words. My emails were going to her – but the IT people there were themselves still in shock to remove her name from the mailing list!

Being The Safe Driver! www.bethesafedriver.com

It is true that many of us read the newspapers – or watch the television – of road accidents stories – but we never imagine that the victim in the tragic accidents – many are avoidable – is someone we know well! We never get involved personally in the stories and get emotionally inclined in touch and feelings! Perhaps if we made the attempts – or tried to do so – things could act out to be different! Perhaps only then road accidents could come down tremendously! I strongly believe in this – with the ever increased accidents and fatalities in the country!

When I self published on my own the Road Safety book – Being The Safe Driver! – Behind The Wheel! – and created the supporting website – www.bethesafedriver.com – I thought things would now be different this time! With exception of some few great companies of the land buying copies for their Board and The Management Team – nothing else went different! It was just the same stories – all over again! Reduce the book price – if I get OMR 2 in each book after costs publishing, air freight from USA and Bookshops commissions at 35% each book!

You would have imagined the Bookshops were the only winners – but even there ;you have to beg, borrow and steal’ to get your books taken in – unless it is for the publicity for the VIPs books – or books launches by VIPs! Poor M – a retired HR – no one knows him – and he has no W! Besides, why support and assist him – when his other books links – especially The Arab Management books that ‘rocked the boat to its very foundations’! So if we support his Road Safety book it would be like directly or indirectly supporting his other books per se!

I remember the famous nursery story of The Red Hen who went around asking others to help in growing seeds until harvest of the corn – but none did! When it baked the cake – and asked – who will eat from my cake? Everyone wanted a piece. I am sorry to say this – after the advices I get of ‘why don’t you translate the book into Arabic? You will get more Readers that way!

When I sent my appeal to them before the book publishing – they just ignored me and looked the other way! Thus my writing the article – Deafening Silence! You can see it here in my website! I should have learnt my lesson – after sending these VIPs my first books – including The Arab Management books specifically – but with the exception of very few expatriates – none even acknowledged even receiving the books – let alone in thanks!

Truthfully, I have never considered the business of writing as a business enterprise – or to make money! There is no money in books – and the returns – if any – are extended, tedious and belated too! But one needs to look things at the greater picture – and look things outside the box! Not everything is money in life! Otherwise today there would have been no great works like War and Peace – or the Shakespearean works! What is the added advantage if one’s works come out in fame – when he is invalid – or as many cases long time dead? Whilst he was alive he was unknown and unacknowledged – and miserable and poor!

I appeal to The Leadership to visit this arena too – and to (re) consider our cases more sympathetically and pragmatically! Especially those of us few that write in English! Even in the few competitions the insistence is works in Arabic – point taken – but communicating in other languages should be welcomed in! That is what and why Oman became great in history! Besides, not many are like yours truly – determined not to be let down – but keep his head up – and to succeed against all odds!

May Allah God Guide and Direct us to the right path and way – Amin.

Trafford Publishing USA PRESS RELEASE - Psychology of Arab Management Thinking! – By Majid Al

Trafford Publishing USA PRESS RELEASE -

Psychology of Arab Management Thinking! – By Majid Al Suleimany

Every writer I know has trouble writing. Joseph Heller

Majid Al Suleimany presents new study in Arab management

‘Psychology of Arab Management Thinking’ offers firsthand look into Middle Eastern thinking

MUSCAT, Oman – In his new book “Psychology of Arab Management Thinking: Arabian Management Series” (published by Trafford Publishing), author and analyst Majid Al Suleimany explores the management styles that he believes helped lead to the events of Arab Spring.

“This is a no-punch-held-back book,” Al Suleimany says. “It critically reviews and assesses with deep soul searching analysis the management styles and approaches of the Arab world, especially in Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) vis-à-vis the international companies operating in the international arena.”

An excerpt from “Psychology of Arab Management Thinking”:

“As Arabs work is worshipped in our Religion – so what went wrong here? Especially in Management circles? Why are we behind the rest of the world, despite all our riches, potentials and resources?

This is a no punch held back, no barrels held, no stiff, no frills play – but to be as blunt, frank, open, honest and sincere as far as possible – so the book can be a learning experience and process for this generation – and future to come – especially after the recent Arab Spring uprisings!”

Al Suleimany knows his book fills a critical need. “Little is known of Arab management styles,” he says, “especially as written from the inside by an Arab himself as an experienced professional local HR and management expert, advisor and counselor.”

“Our religion is one of faith, compassion, love, tolerance, and understanding – yet some of us use its name to justify their wanton and indiscriminate acts.”

This book is a large collection of articles the author has written for the book and from his newspaper column entitled “Between Us Only” in the Oman Daily Observer. He writes from a management perspective and thirty years employment in human resources and training. No punches are pulled in describing his experiences with racial prejudice in big corporation culture, both from expatriate staff and even his fellow Omani workers.

But the scope is not limited to business issues. Reasons for the economic lag in Arabic countries are also floated: “I suspect that a real problem exists in the mind of Arabs: They do not feel that they own their own countries.” These issues seem prescient of the contemporary “Arab Spring.” The al-Qaeda phenomenon is analyzed, as is the since-repressed popular rebellion against the re-election of Ahmedinejad in Iran.

His reporting on the actual conditions that foreign workers must suffer in the oil-super-rich country of Dubai are astounding. The bulk of the book is about management and human resource issues, however, and the author’s commentary is unique in its Arabic and Muslim perspective.

Suleimany originally wanted to break up the book into topics, but was told by his countries Censor Board to print them chronologically. The result is one that might put off more academically interested readers in Arabic management issues. There are no neat categories to index or access in an orderly fashion. But the general drift of the writing is illuminatingly simple. Simple human respect and kindness, universal values that transcend culture and creed, are re-affirmed throughout.

The tone of the book is journalistic, not too far from the sense of an American editorial column. It is filled with concrete examples of the way companies operate in the Arab world and as such is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in that subject. It is not a book on management theory in the abstract; the author’s rationale is moral and ethical, based on an Islamic understanding of the human condition. His approach is moderate, however, with the result being more light on effective corporate management, from the unique perspective of a manager-writer form Oman

Majid Al Suleimany’s Exciting New Book is “A Cry for Help!”

“A Cry for Help!” examines the management styles of Arabian Gulf Corporation Council countries

A frank, honest and open book exposing the increasing lack of ethics, principles, professionalism and tolerance in the office environment

Muscat, Oman (PRWEB) November 01, 2012

Muscat, Oman Author Majid Al Suleimany exposes the increasing extremism, fundamentalism and radicalization in management styles and employees’ receptions and reaction in his new book “A Cry for Help!” (published by Trafford Publishing)

With over 35 years of human resource experience in Oman and with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Al Suleimany digs deep into the Arab office environment. Suleimany spins “a frank, honest and open book exposing the increasing lack of ethics, principles, professionalism and tolerance in the office environment.”

“A Cry for Help!” focuses on the particular type of management that is being used in the Arab workplace while explaining the context and perspectives in the work environment. He goes on to explain what is peculiar, special, or particular to that work in the context of, and in comparison to, management styles of other nations.

A Great Read

This book does not only provide a fascinating insight into Majid’s life but also his raw, honest and sometimes eye opening emotional roller coaster career. It is a personal account, and his brutal honesty regarding different nationalities and those of his own country is recounted so well. A lot of clips from his columns but never mind!

I couldn’t put it down. The English, although not perfect (hey, even English have trouble!) is easy to read and paints a picture as though you are there yourself

Learning The Lessons of Life The Hard Way!

By Majid Al Suleimany – September 19th 2012

This incident had happened to me when I was a small kid – and I have not forgotten it to this day – even though my father had already passed away more than a decade ago – May Allah rest him in peace – Amin.

I was playing with this cute puppy. Frankly, I am more of a cat person – but this puppy seemed to like me a lot! It was then time for afternoon prayers – and I joined the congregation in prayers after the usual abolution. One of the so-called uncles whispered something to my late father – and I got a beating of my life that still haunts me to this day as an over 60 person! From that time I steered away from dogs – because with due respects to ‘dogs-lovers’ – I did not know that they were considered as ‘unclean’ animals society looking – even in the place in that distant land! I learnt the hard way – because this puppy had followed me to the mosque – for a dog it was just a building!

My late Father was also not always pleased with me – because I had a tendency of ‘not wanting to get involved’ – when ‘brother fought brother’ – or even ‘sister against sister’ – as they sometimes did! We were 14 of us – 6 brothers – and 8 sisters as the children – blessings of Allah – God. My late Father used to say to me – you are the elder – so ‘you must be involved’ in these things – to separate them – and bring peace and harmony in the house!

That is the kind of person that I am – of not wanting to get really involved in such issues. It also comes in ‘giving up’ – because you say the same things day-in and day-out – and no one is respecting and hearing you. Like I always say talking to brick walls. Not only talking – but also banging your head – and it ends swollen and red – and the brick walls just sneer and slight you instead – unmoved and uncaring – as always. Instead you end not only as ‘The Loser’ – but you also suffer and get tormented in so many other ways instead!

I also believe this – and have said it so many times before! There is nothing untoward and ‘just not in’ than raising hopes and expectations of people – than dashing and disappointing them the worse than before – by not keeping the promises per se – or not doing anything real and material in this regard. That is why the world is in a greater mess and chaos than ever before – even more after the ‘promises’ were made – and all hopes and dreams dashed. It would have been better ‘not to get involved’ – and let things run their natural cause! There is also this thing. Do not take people for granted – and that they will act and or perform as to what you want them to be – or do either!

If you have also read the 90/10 principle of how you react to a situation can determine how more worse it can be then it was before. It is a famous principle – and I have said about it so many times in this column too!

In my article 8 years ago titled The Power of The Media – www.myown-ebooks.com – I joked about this ‘Red Indian’ boy cartoon where he is seen shouting on encouraging strangely The Cowboys – but not his own! This was in front .of his family in a cinema – kill the (unprintable) – as the ‘good nice cowboys’ chase the ‘stinky Red Indians’! The Red Indians were there as the original owners of the land – and defending their homelands – but came out worse out! Simply and smugly put – not all that glitters is gold! It takes two to tango – one cannot tango by himself – or herself alone!

There is also this thing. Conversely, if there is a great thing in front of you – or possessed by you – what bad name calling will not change facts on the grounds. My son was saying to me that his friend was telling him that he feels lucky that he is not my son – because he ‘does not have the pressures’ to perform in life like your father’s achievements – and that was a great eye-opener for my son of what he was really dealing in life. Until that time – he did not think much of the subject – and had not even read any of the books – though lying idly spread out in the house!

People should act their roles and responsibilities in life – without being told – or reminded – or reprimanded – or find out too late – like others before them – that the options to act and behave are now limited – or even not there at all.

In summary – I do not like to get involved in such issues like politics – and or deep religion – but there has been so much pressure for me to write – to use your pragmatism and wisdom. Unfortunately – those who tell me these things I cannot tell them what I really feel and think – because at this stage in my life – I have had already enough – and I sincerely wish sometimes that I had been more stronger and assertive in life – to do what I really wanted to do in the first place – rather than trying to ‘please or to be seen doing the so-called right things. But our Religion forbids us to think like this – because everything happens for a reason – and there are no accidents in life!

Majid Al Suleimany’s exciting new book is “A Cry for Help!”

“A Cry for Help!” examines the management styles of Arabian Gulf Corporation Council countries

MUSCAT, Oman – Author Majid Al Suleimany exposes the increasing extremism, fundamentalism and radicalization in management styles and employees’ receptions and reaction in his new book “A Cry for Help!”(published by Trafford Publishing)

About the Author

Majid Al Suleimany resides in Oman with his wife and four children. He has published four other books: “Psychology of Arab management!,” “The Sequel – Between Us Only!,” “Short Takes – Between Us Only!” and “Between Us Only! Book One.” He has two others in production: “Between Us Only! The Sequel Three” and “Behind the Wheel!” Al Suleimany is also a columnist for The Oman Daily Observer.
The place is in Tripoli in Libya.

The people are running wildly inland from the shores – in acute panic, shock and fear – and screaming out to the Al Jazeera Television News Crew – “See the seas! See the seas! – in English. Then one of them says it in Arabic – the same thing.

One can see the sea has turned high and rough into high waves and torrents – the same that we have seen forming in Tsunamis.

Then I can hear this voice saying – more telepathically – this is a punishment from Allah (God) for people who kill their leaders – who should be respected – and for leaders that kill their own people in cold blood – because they want change and to be free.

Highly explosive material. But it is in a dream. Almost like in 3D.As if you are part of the scene.

This is quite an improvement from the last one – but that one was not in a dream – like this one. See that one below.

Indeed the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah (God) is the one with the most Taqwa (Righteousness/God Consciousness) – Surah Hujaraat – 49.13.

Allah’s special mercy comes on the families (nation) that are united, harmonious and peaceful – especially in Taqwa and in the Fasting Month – The Hadith.

This Ramadhan I got a nice message for the month from one person. The number was not registered in my Mobile – but I decided to accept the nice message and send one back in reciprocity! Unfortunately, the person decided ‘to spoil it all’ by asking me if I really knew from whom the message came from? And asking me to ‘keep trying to guess’! I politely declined ‘the offer’ – and had decided to just register the person as ‘Sender Good Ramadhan Message’!

That was not enough for the person – because he did not give up! I guess the reason was ‘he or she thought I would be very much surprised to receive this kind of message from him! It seemed to me that the person ‘was keen to be found out’ – so we can take it off from that level! But if you are not telling – who am I to push you to come forward and tell me?

It dawned on me that this could be a person that I had crossed with and upset in the past – and he is making a subtle move to come forward – and say it in his own ways and styles!

The day before Ramadhan we had a family get together – because it was a long time since we had one together as one whole family – and also to celebrate some of the children finalists good examination results – and one or two who had got promoted – and of course with a new car to show the rest of us too – with the old bangers going over 7 years now – and cannot afford a new one still yet!

Frankly, I try to be ‘my level best’ in these types of social gatherings nowadays – and just to show you how bad things have now become in society – because definitely there will be one or two determined to get you pissed off and upset – for just some rice and morsels – and make the rest of your day to be upset and to be annoyed!

The thing that they can easily find fault to upset and annoy you is in your passion of writing – and nitpicking minor things to be made mountains from molehills on a driving pursuit and purpose to do their bit. They like to call it as ‘constructive criticism and feedback’ – but if you ask him to explain himself clearly in more details – than just the one sentence or two he picked out of context – he fails miserably!.

But then he will say to you that you are now becoming over sensitive – and the age element has definitely kicked in – for you to behave like this way! The question to ask here – if this can come within – who needs enemies outside? A famous Arabic expression says – rightly too! – A thousand enemies outside the house are better than one within!

Things have gone so bad nowadays – because at Family get-together times even – you get people – after years and years of being sidelined and being marginalized – have now received promotions that have gone to their heads – being contemptuous, cynical, satirical and pompous! Looking down on others the lesser lucky and fortunate in life!

Like I always like to say – a few more Baizas has changed the person completely – in an adverse – and negative way! That is why if I am not invited to any social gathering nowadays – it is not ‘sour apples’ – but honestly – I feel that the person has done me a good deed indeed!

A friend of mine had sent me this saying – which I will share with you! The most testing time for a woman is when her husband has gone poor and broke – and for a man is when he has become rich and famous! He gives me his own life story as proof of what he is saying here – when he became astute poor –and with losing his position and job! With children even – and or no children either!

So I messaged to the person – There is something that you perhaps do not know about me! I always try my level best to avoid conflicts as much as I possibly can! I also can promise you that I never cast (throw) the first stone either! But after cautioning you after several trespass and interferences – I can turn nasty to even shock you! I then come down charging – like a bull in a glass shop! Admittedly, some may even say – his reactions outdo his silence and patience at the outset. Taking it from the 90/10 principle of reacting to situations!

As a Writer, Author and Columnist – I will be naïve and stupid not to realise that I have upset and annoyed people – and will continue to do so – so long as I keep writing on in my life! Even if I decide to stop – I will upset those who want me to continue – and even write much more than before! Like Louis IV had said – Whichever side I take or whatever I will do, I will still be blamed by the other side!

In all my life and in my pursuits – I have always aimed to change the things I can do so by myself if I can do so – and if not – speak or write about it! In weak moments – yes – I have gone to the lowest levels in Religion – of saying – I am against this – but I am afraid – and have now joined in silence the Silent Majority!

Like the unfairness and injustice being faced now by me – but there is nothing that I can do on my own – though have talked about it several times in my columns here!

In the spirit, graciousness and kindness of the Holy Month – I ask for forgiveness for those that I may have upset and annoyed – and even by default and inadvertently! I still believe to speak the truth always as I see it – and ready to change my mind if shown and or convinced otherwise!

But I also feel deep in my heart and in conviction – body and spirit – that only a person that really cares, feels and does not want ‘things to go bad and or wrong’ – will tell you exactly what he thinks – for the general good, remedy, corrections, peace, harmony and for future generations, history, legacy – and for our destiny too. In that way you will forgive me too – for I will hardly change!

Sometime ago when I was in my lowest of depressions and frustrations in life – a good German friend of mine had sent me the following message – which I will share with you today! He just said – Quote – I must say that some of your mails hit the nail right on the head – and I really enjoyed reading them. Some have been too ‘emotional for the “German” Reader’. I don’t think that you should give up now! Why would you ever give up a passion?

If you marry a woman, you start loving her passionately, she is giving you the greatest gift a man can receive- kids, she is there for you as your wife, friend, advisor, mother, sister and not to forget as your passion. Can you imagine waking up one day and telling her: I don’t love you anymore passionately?

No, because passion is a value that you cannot loose or give up! Don’t give up writing. Take a break, take a deep breath and rediscover your passion. Love your passion as you did the first day, as passion is a part of you and you need it. Take care my friend! – Unquote.

A good Indian old friend of mine said the same words to me – which I will also share with you - Quote - In everyone’s life there are ups and downs, especially in a writer’s life. Many times people don’t take them seriously. Some may say writers are eccentric, others may say he is a rebel. Such adjectives are suffered by many Writers, such is the world of letters.

You will be remembered somewhere in the world sometime even after you are gone, when people happen to see your book and your name. As a friend my sincere advice is do not stop writing – and just do not give up now – out of all times! – Unquote.

In the Holy books, we have read of how even Great Prophets like our own Great Prophet (SAW) and Moses (Prophet Musa – RA) in few weak times of their lives went despondent and despairing – at one or other times in their lives. And then we have other Great Prophets like Jacob (Ayoub) and Joseph (Yousuf) – who suffered against great odds and trials in life – but did not give up faith in God always! Records and History books are full of other great men and women in life that went similar.

The Author and His Books

Although writing for me is my hobby – since I was 14 years old – my passion and the motive in keeping me going on in life – it was not my first ambition in life. I had always wanted to be a Pilot first and paramount – writing and journalism came a clear second! But I never knew I had eyes problems till when I wanted to join the Air Force in that distant land – for Pilots being trained in Canada.

I had ended – after my studies in UK – to join as a Human Resources Professional – in that oil company. The rest that happened after opting out for early retirement – going into a bust business – and what started as a weekly columnist 9 years ago to a full fletched author of five books – two being in Arab Management – and the 6th one near completion on Road Safety Stories (Novel Type) now! More details at my new website – www.majidalsuleimany.com

What started – as an ambition to be a Pilot – had ended up to be something else. I guess there are could be also retired – or still flying – Pilots out there – and who are now as avid Authors and Writers too! God – how I envy them – getting the best of two things that you really had wanted in life?

My pretty Indian Literature Lecturer in High School told me – a great Miss F from Goa – Life is like a stage!. Sometimes we are endowed with roles and characters that we had never aspired to. But the best thing that you can do – and a great credit to yourself – is to play that role well! You are very right – Miss F!

The Changing Life’s Ways! Outlook – By Majid Al Suleimany

For Sunday June 10, 2012

Between Us Only! – Outlook!

The Singing Quatro!

The Changing Life Ways!

On Thursday this week my family and I had celebrated my 64th birthday. A simple thing – and all at home – with my family members only! The thing that moved me the most is to see my grandchildren singing this special Arabic song for parents for me! It was followed by a Happy Birthday song in English. For a few minutes, I felt just like the VIPS that would feel in a grand parade! Coming to their generation, some did put in compliments in Facebook. Also some messages came in via Twitter – and in the professionals’ website of LinkedIn.

The point to make here is this. I had covered this topic in my second Arab Management book titled – A Cry For Help! The book was published in February 2009 – well before all the troubles and problems came to our side of the world. Some had said to me that the book was a sort of prophesy, omen and prediction of what was going to come ahead – and that more people at least in decision making and the leadership should have read the book!

It was not my mistake – but I did send the book out – and to try to make the distress call in crying for help! Would things have really have changed if more people had read my book? Personally, I do not think so! Just see the things still happening now – even after just poor Mubarak was sent to a life-term jail sentence! And even after all the other things before that. We are very good ‘and blessed’ in being just indifferent and care-the-less – and with a very short memory span too!

We still have not learnt that threats – and trying to put in trouble one – will only be short-lived – because once things like this have started – there is nothing that can stop or prevent the trend from continuing – till it goes full cycle and till completion. This is not a washing machine – which you can just switch off the machine to stop it going full cycle. Or as has been said – what goes around – does come around – even if it may take longer time to do so!

Whatever one may feel, still this Mubarak was an Arab presiding leader being sent to jail! I could not help feeling sorry for him – despite all the things that have happened – when for two hours he refused to get out from the helicopter that was sending him to jail – and crying uncontrollably and profusely that ‘you are all now sending me to jail today – and have forgotten all my contributions and so on stuff’! The crunch being how things can turn nasty and unpredictable in life’s pursuits!

Keep remembering that the incident quoted here in my book was over 4 years ago! In the Introductory Chapters, this is what I had written – Quote –

It then struck me how fast and how much things have now changed in The Work Front – especially in relationships between Omanis (Locals) and Expatriate Staff – especially Non Muslims – and how much the gap was widening between the two – though acting and pretenses continued of politeness, courtesy and welcome.

There was now growing extremism, fundamentalism and radicalisation in the workplaces that I had never seen before – especially here where I had always prided myself that we were a tolerant, moderate, give-and-take, live-and-let-live society and always kind, welcoming and accepting esteeming and respectful to our ‘invited guests’ in our country!

My simple error – if you call it that – to invite non-Muslims to the Mosque (Masjid) seemed inadvertently to expose the inevitable differences etc. – unwanted and uncalled for – and I think unneeded differences – to come out and show its ugly head!

However, two months later I summarily did quit the place after being singled out and insulted by a British Expatriate – in an Email copy to all the Staff – and the CEO fellow Expatriate siding with him – against a National – and yet in Human Resources too for that matter! – unquote.

What it all confirmed to me was this getting a bashing from my now increasingly being radicalized and fundamentalised our own people – despite facial appearances – and realizing that even in our own country – even people like me who want to live and let live – and moderate in views – are singled out – and ‘guests in our own offices’! But the dirtier and murkier picture was lines being drawn between the locals – and the external Management – and the docile weak own Top Management to allow such things to happen. Nothing that happened after this surprised me anymore!

But whoever is the CEO – whether local or expatriate – believe me – nothing has changed much – if you have been reading my recent articles in this column. That really scares me to the core now – with this indifference, care-free, arrogant, haughty, conceited and proud focuses, attitudes and approaches in the Offices particularly now!

History had repeated itself this time – by some people being very cross with me! These are not our ways for such celebrations – and we thought you would lead by example – or we had higher hopes and expectations from you – but you have let us down badly’! The scarier part is this all coming now from the younger ones – and our future leaders!

What else more can I say now? Take Care!

Good News!

My Books in Arab Management are now in ebooks format! See below letter from The Publishers Trafford in USA. The book also A Cry For Help! had been converted last month to ebooks.

I believe this is an achievement fror a Omani Author, Writer and Columnist to have his books in Arab Management (in English) recognised and established due to the books demand worldwide. Please note that Trafford Publishing USA had converted the books free for this Author due to many requests worldwide .

This Psychology book is sold out in Oman bookshops. Sadly they will not order directly and want me to order the books for them! And I am just broke…!

And that is the Oman (Arab) tragedy for all openly to see! I can see similar lack of support for my next book in Road Safety book novel type – see posting here.

Will we ever change? I do not think so! If I was an expatriate and wrote about Omani Castles and or Butterflies – all of us will come forward to help – especially if it is a HER!

Allah Kareem. God Is Great. Amin. Amen.
