Who: Bride and friends
Why:Mixing it up will be fun, it will allow everyone to interact and become part of your party.
When: Start it off from the get go and go all night with it.. beats sitting around drinking cocktails.. you can do that any old night.
What: Get the list for everyone and go out on the town and make it happen.
How: Make the copies, get some teams together of about 3 or 4 girls and be on your way.

The Bachelorette Party Scavenger Hunt
Rules: Each task is worth 10 points. Bonuses are worth and additional 20 points. The team
with the most points at the end of the time limit wins. Subtract 10 points for every 5
minutes late you are to the finish.

Make your own list up, be creative and get crazy! (but not too crazy, someone is going to get married you know) bring cameras and video if possible. This night will be one to remember and thats what its all about.

About two years ago one of Debt Warriors YOUTUBE Subscribers sent us a message asking us to “do some videos on Pressler and Pressler”. Below is a video of a MY9 NEWS investigation of Pressler and Pressler.

New York Times Exposes Law Firm’s Irresponsible Court Tactics

This week, The New York Times reported the story of Mr. Mark Hoyte of New York, NY. Pressler and Pressler claimed that Mr. Hoyte owed $919 for a Credit Card Debt. The problem was that Mr. Hoyte was the wrong Mark Hoyte.

Pressler and Pressler had contacted the wrong person, yet were intent on collecting money this Mark Hoyte did not owe. Pressler and Pressler had the wrong:

Social Security Number

Birthdate

Person

This situation would be hillarious if it were not so serious. Pressler and Pressler filed a Law Suit against Mark Hoyte, even after Mr. Hoyte told them that the Law Firm had the wrong man.

The New York Times Investigation of Mark Hoyte’s claim uncovered what Debt Warriors have been saying for years. Debt Warriors have been warning people,

Debt Collection Terrorist are usually Junk Debt Buyers who often retain Law Firms to harass, threaten and intimidate Consumers into paying debts that the Consumer’s often don’t owe.

Once the Debt Collection Terrorist gets their hands on an account the Debt Collector is relentless at collecting the Debt. Often the Consumer (or alleged Debtor) does not owe on the account or does not owe the amount claimed.

The Honorable Judge Noach Dear (New York)

Mr. Hoyte was lucky in that he had an Ally. Judge Noach Dear (pictured right), was wise enough to realize that Mr. Hoyte was not the person who owed the Debt.

Judge Dear was about to dismiss the case until he realized that Mr. Hoyte had taken a day off from work to defend himself against Pressler and Pressler’s false allegations.

Judge Dear ordered Pressler and Pressler to pay Mr. Hoyte $115 in lost wages for having to take the day off to go to Court. The Lawyer representing Pressler and Pressler grilled Mr. Hoyte as to why Mr. Hoyte did not prove that he didn’t owe the Debt.

Mr. Hoyte responded that he told the woman who contacted him that “they had the wrong man”.

This year, all the leaves in the yard were raked by hand with a rake. It really wasn’t all that much more effort than with the leaf blower and made me feel good for several reasons:

1. A rake does not make exhaust and does not contribute to global warming.

2. Raking leaves burns more calories than watching t.v..

3. It saves money. Rather than hiring someone, it costs very little to do it yourself and a rake costs less than a leaf blower.

4. A rake de-thatches the lawn and brings up maple seeds, small rocks and sticks and other junk that the leaf blower would leave behind which makes the lawn healthier.

5. Rather than going to the landfill, the leaves can be dumped in the vegetable garden for some added carbon to the compost.

6. Have the family join you. Raking leaves together as a family is better for you than watching t.v..

If you are one of the many seniors who followed the plan and put away your money in your company

If you are one of the many seniors who followed the plan and put away your money in your company’s retirement program over the last twenty-five years on a regular schedule and pick what you thought were sound investments, you thought you would have a nice nest egg to live off the rest of your years. In theory it should have worked out well for you, but the problem is that while you were saving for the rainy day retirement fund the one thing that you never new was brewing throughout the world was what I like to the Big G. So I guess you are wondering what the Big G is well it is something that just got so big that it hate itself.

The Big G is Greed the single biggest factor and in fact in my opinion is the number one reason for the financial mess that the world is in today. The Greed Factor is wide spread it has hot every segment of the economy and each and every hard working person in the country. The one thing that continually going on was that if they can get one then they could ten and then twenty and fifty and so on until the bottom had no choice but to drop out and the ride was over. The ride was good for so many people the biggest problem was that all of the people who trust the money keepers that they could continue on forever and the script was so well written they everybody believe it. It does not matter what investment it was from real estate to stocks, there had to be a hole in the donut somewhere and it had to come to and end sometime.

The seniors put all of their faith in the system and the system let them down in a big way, many have seen all of their hard work go right down the drain and the ones that are responsible for handling the investments had shown no remorse. In fact they turned around and held the country and the world at gun point and forced a bail-out of their mistakes. The problem is that the bailout should have gone to fix the peoples losses and not the ones who made the most profits from the losses.

I read an email a while back and it made more sense then anything I had read that either came out of the government or anywhere else and it went something like this, so think about this real hard. If you take the entire amount of the two stimulus packages which was around 1.5 trillion dollars to date and you took all of the money and took every person in the country who pays taxes and this to me was the key Pays Taxes and you divided the money up equally between each person and sent them a check tax free. The check would equal somewhere in the area of $250,000 tax free this would correct the economy. People who received this check would have been able to pay off or pay large amount of the credit issues off they would be able to purchase goods and services and much more then just giving it to the same people who cause the problem in the first place. Think about this; what could you have done if you were sent a tax free check in the amount of $250,000 do you think that this would change your life financially. Would it not have reduced people bad debt and banks and creditors would have the money that was loaned out back in their pockets in many cases. Even if the person who received it went out and just blew the money it would have been put into the economy one way or another that money would be in circulation today.

They would buying cars, houses, goods and services and even paying off debt, if this would have taken place there would be more capital going around the country and the world and even the people who lost their jobs would have been able to survive or start a business and not be wards of the government. The biggest problem is that this is to simple and not complex enough to keep the average person confused for life. With all of the money that has been loaned or given away to all of the banks and companies has it changes your retirement income for the future in anyway shape or form. The answer to that is no and it will not simply because if you are at the age of 70 when you can receive the most from Social Security you just don’t have enough time left in your life to get it all back in your lifetime.

Now the fact is this will never happen the government or anyone else is going to hand you $250,000 tax free and not have to pay it back right! Well that is not completely accurate because there is a program that is complete for seniors who are over the age of 62 and have work hard to keep their homes. These same people are the ones who built this country and they deserve to have a program that will give them back some of the money they given up because of what the greedy investment and company owners have taken away. This exclusive program has over the years receive good and bad press and the real truth is that the people who say negative statements are most likely the same people that took you r money in the first place. The program is the Reverse Mortgage, this program gives the availability to take a portion of the equity you have in your home and use it tax free and you never have to pay it back in your lifetime. In many cases people are able to take care of the mortgage that they currently have and pay if off completely and eliminate payments, which in turn increase their income dramatically.

In other case where people who do not have a mortgage they can have a large sum of money to use anyway the see fit to use it or they can choose to have a month check for the rest of their lives no matter how long they live. They can also have a combination of choices as to how they want to receive the money over years or they can just have if something comes along in the future. Yes there are people that say that the cost of a Reverse Mortgage is very expensive; but the fact is very simple the cost of doing nothing and just stressing your life over things that you cannot control it more expensive then the cost of receiving a lifetime of piece of mind. Not to mention the cost of a Reverse Mortgage is not and upfront cost it is spread out over the life of the loan even though it comes out up front from the total proceeds.

Now here is the simple way to determined how much money will be available to you gross! If you are currently at the age of 65 and you have your home that you owe nothing on take your age and minus 5 years and this would be the estimated gross amount you would receive percentage wise about 60% of your homes value and from that the cost of the loan closing cost and insurance is deducted which on the average is around 10% in the first two years. Remember this; the longer you stay in your home the less it will coast over years, meaning added to the loan balance. Since you are going to be able to stay in your home for the rest of your lives without have to make any payments ever again other then taxes and insurance you will not only have more money but you will have less stress in your life and live longer and have a better quality of life in the year that you should. So think Reverse Mortgage and don’t let the negative people sway you from enjoying what you worked so hard to achieve they have already taken away the other parts that you work hard for over your life.

First let’s look at where we have been in the past and then we will look into the future and get some strategies that you can implement to protect your assets for the future. If you are over the age of 80 you are one of the few people that know what happen in detail when the great depression hit even though you would have been a baby at the time, you must have heard stories from your mom and dad or relatives.

The depression hit in 1929 when the entire US economy clasped, which cause many wealthy people and some not so wealthy people to end their lives because they did not have protection in place. The key to surviving is having a fail safe program in place that will protect from total failure. The difference from 1929 and today is that every aspect of today’s economic melt down is it is worldwide. The issues; there are hundreds of millions of more people in the world then there was then. Most people today do not realize nor do they think that most of their wealth is in the single largest investment that they ever made and that is their home.

Yes the home is and was for most people the single largest investment of their life! The home in the US and the equity that is just sitting around untapped is estimate at well over 2 Trillion dollars; just for people over the age of 62 and growing faster than any other segment in the country today. This is true even though the values of homes around the country have been declining over the last 5 or so years.

You see most people do not understand that fact that equity in your home does not mean you are wealthy unless it is working for you to solve a problem for you. If you have $200,000 or more equity in your home or even a lot less you are what is called House Rich and Cash Poor! Understand that having a home that is yours and owning out right just means you have no payments it does not mean that your equity can do anything for you unless you have cash to make things happen to will either grow your cash flow or maintain your life for many years without stress. Here lies the problem, you have what is called a net worth of $200,000 or what ever, but if a situation in your life appears if you don’t have the cash to fix the problem you still have a net worth but you cannot spend it to fix your problem or invest it to increase your wealth.

So now let’s look at some strategies!

Strategy # 1

Increasing your Income Tax Free

To maintain a standard of living, some older homeowners are starting to convert home equity to monthly income. This approach is a relatively new concept that has gained momentum with the development of reverse mortgages. Financial professionals are also beginning to explore different options for using home equity to increase and annuitized income. The foundation for retirement security has traditionally likened to a three-legged stool consisting of savings, pensions, and Social Security.

Recent financial trends suggest that this conventional approach is becoming less effective. The savings rate among Americans has declined significantly since the 1980s-reaching its lowest level in 2004 since the Great Depression-although it recently turned upward. Compounding these cash shortfalls is the decline of defined benefit plans, which leaves many Americans facing a future with less guaranteed retirement income.

As the cost of living continues to rise, many older Americans find it hard to make ends meet. Researchers estimate that nearly 78% of all older adult households do not have sufficient resources to sustain them through their retirement years. Baby Boomers are also concerned about being able to maintain their standard of living as they grow older. Older workers who expect inadequate retirement income, or a less reliable source of income, such as a defined benefit plan, are more likely to plan to use home equity to pay for retirement expenses.

Option One

To increase monthly annuitized retirement income is to defer Social Security payments. Retirees receive a reduced monthly benefit at age 62 and progressively larger benefits for each month they postpone benefits up to age 70. Elderly widows could see the greatest benefit, since deferral would increase the expected value of their monthly survivor benefits. To maximize their monthly payments, as well as that of their spouses and other dependents, people near retirement could continue working. However, this option may be difficult for workers in physically demanding occupations, and those who are limited by health problems. To help workers who anticipate a long life, and who must retire before age 70, some financial professionals are recommending a term home-equity loan or reverse mortgage to help pay for everyday expenses for a few years until they are eligible for maximum Social Security benefits.

Option Two

Another option for older homeowners to ensure retirement income would be to buy a “longevity” annuity with their savings, and tap small amounts of home equity to fill financial gaps until they start to receive their annuity payments. Longevity annuities require a smaller investment than an immediate annuity because they usually do not begin payouts until after age 80 or 85. This approach could be attractive to older americans who worry that purchasing an immediate annuity will leave them little cash to pay for unexpected expenses or to leave a bequest. Consumers should carefully examine the fees associated with longevity annuities, since they can be expensive.

Option Three

This option is one that reduces stress and also is the safest option of the three, it requires very little on your part and is the easiest to accomplish. By utilizing the equity in your home and not using available saving or other instrument you can have the best of all worlds. Let’s look back a few decades and see what became available that had never been available before for many people especially seniors over the age of 62. As they age, people face a growing possibility that a costly health problem could disrupt their family budgets. When they cannot make their monthly loan payments, they may lose their houses.

A recent study found that by the end of 2007, more than 684,000 homeowners age 50 and older were delinquent in mortgage payments or in foreclosure. A reverse mortgage allows older homeowners to defer monthly mortgage payments on a conventional home loan. Borrowers (or their heirs) do not have to repay the loan until the last borrower dies, permanently moves out, or vacates for a period of 12 months. About 46% of reverse mortgage borrowers surveyed by orgainizations have paid off their regular mortgage in this way. Some are transferring their existing housing debt to meet the requirement that a reverse mortgage be in primary lien position. Anecdotal evidence suggests that growing numbers of older homeowners are taking out this type of loan specifically to avoid the need to make monthly mortgage payments.

Using home equity to manage debt became popular after the Tax Reform Act of 1986 phased out the deduction for interest on credit cards, auto loans, and most other types of consumer debt while preserving tax deductions for certain home loans. Since then, borrowers have shifted from installment plans to tax-advantaged mortgages and home-equity loans to pay for major purchases such as cars and appliances. Easy access to credit also provided lower-income households with greater liquidity to purchase the goods and services that they need to continue to live at home.

Using housing wealth to manage consumer debt can enhance a person’s standard of living. But if this resource is not used wisely, it can also be a source of financial insecurity. Older homeowners often take on sizable debt without considering the potential impact of these loans on their long-term retirement security. Using a reverse mortgage to defer debt payments can also be risky. Borrowers who use loan funds early in their retirement may have little home equity later in life. Borrowers continue to accumulate interest payments on the loan balance as long as they stay in their homes. Those who continue to live in their homes for many years may find that they have little or no home equity left after they repay the loan.

This could be problematic for older adults who need to move to an assisted living facility or other supportive setting as they become frail and in need of care. Without sufficient funds, some may need to turn to Medicaid to pay for long-term care.

Having Reverse Mortgage in place and setting it up I a way that takes into consideration of things that may or may not take place in the future is what a Reverse Mortgage is all about. The flexibility within the mortgage affords you the option unlike anything else anywhere. You control the amounts and timing and you can change it as situation change. In addition; it gives you the freedom to decide what, when and how you can receive income or payments and unlike most of programs depending on how you choose to receive you can never out live the money no matter what happens in the future. You will also never in your lifetime have to pay anything back it all happens when you are gone and no longer live in your home as your primary residence.

The Reverse Mortgage is so versatile in everyway from choosing how interest charges accumulate over time meaning a fixed rate verses adjustable. You can also choose how you will receive the money either all at one time or over a specific time period or for life. Not to mention you can also have the amount that is set aside for the future grows over time. This option is the built in Equity Credit Line! This part is only available when using the adjustable rate program, but it is the one that really gives you the most flexibility for a real edge against inflation.

Any financial expert who is worth a grain of salt has to agree that in our latter years we need the maximum amount of security coupled with the maximum amount of flexibility and that is what the Reverse Mortgage can and does for millions of seniors. So don’t look at the Reverse Mortgage as just another mortgage, look at it has the ultimate program that can do more things to protect your future and provide for today at the same time all it needs is to be setup properly from the on set and then adjusted as your own personal situation changes and there is one the thing that you can count on it that your financial situation will change the is no doubt about this. It is not IF it is when.

It has become an epidemic in the world of senior citizens who are sitting in their home, worrying ab

It has become an epidemic in the world of senior citizens who are sitting in their home, worrying about how they will survive the many financial issues that may and will surface in their retirement years. Most seniors and their families just go through doing without the simple things like medicines, personal care items and other things that make their lives more comfortable. This does not have to happen since the majority of seniors whom own their homes are sitting on their largest portion of the estate right under their feet.

Here’s the problem; most of them do not even realize that they have a wealth of financial resources just sitting collecting dust in their home that they spent a lifetime of paying for and budgeting to make sure they paid off their home. It would able to take care of them in the Golden Years. When they purchase their home years ago when they were going to raise a family, no one told them about the real purpose of buying home really was going to be to them. The belief that the home was a place to raise their children and provide warmth and comfort was the only thing they could even think about at that time.

In the era of the seniors productive earning years they provided for their families, worked hard to keep a roof over their heads provide and care for their children, save and budget so they would be good parents. Now fast forward to today; they are now doing without and in many cases they are doing without too leave their kids something of value. The main issue is that they are still denying themselves of the things that they really need to live a life at the time in their lives that they should be enjoying their life. No one knows how the rumor got started, that parents are supposed to die and leave everything that they worked a lifetime to build to their children. As in many cases the children actually believe that they are entitle to inherit the fruits of their parent labors

Where has all this come from, can it be that the children really believe they should get anything, since they were raised, put through school and got three meals and day and in many cases even more! In today’s environment the children of seniors should only be concerned that their parents are able to provide for themselves and not be a burden on their children who in these trouble times are struggling financially themselves. With unemployment at and all time high and projected to go even higher over the next twelve months or so, many children across the country are having to move back home. In these cases it will place another hardship on their parents meaning additional expenses within the home.

Children of seniors should stop and think about the facts that their parents worked all of their lives, they did everything right from saving, pay off their mortgage and trying to provide for their retirement years. They listen to all of the financial gurus and the government who made provisions to save tax free and grow tax deferred and then from all of the greed throughout the world they got screwed in the end. Now at this unprecedented time in history with most pension, IRA’s and investment portfolios in ruin or at an all time low they need to look to other source of money to use to provide for their future. The future is now and in this ever changing environment and government changes they should seriosly think about the Reverse Mortgage before the Government Changes or does away with the most stable and most satisfying to seniors ever created.

The one place that they did make the safest and securest investment which did not start out that way was in their homes. It is stated that there is an estimate Two Trillon dollars in equity sitting around that many seniors could be using to provide for themselves and living a life that is safe and secure and not sitting up all night worrying.

The Reverse Mortgage is not for every person who is over the age of 62 but in addition to providing a safe and secure venue to access money which is tied up in homes, it will also provide a great financial planning tool for the estate of many seniors when it comes time for their children when the time comes to take care of the final estate issues. So if you are wondering about if and how a Reverse Mortgage can help you and your parents get relief take the test and see if it will work for you.

    Indiana Congressman James Bopp , Jr. recently circulated a draft resolution for the Republican N

    Indiana Congressman James Bopp , Jr. recently circulated a draft resolution for the Republican National Committee to implement a practicew that would essentially vet the candidates that the party fields for elected office as nominees whom they fund and endorse. The resolution would prohibit the RNC from endorsing or contributing financial resources to the campaigns of any candidate who oppose three or more of ten planks in the party platform.

The premise behind the draft resolution is one that I tend to support. But such a practice as that which is promoted by the effort would undoubtedly be followed by attempts from the left to paint the GOP as exclusive and intolerant, a party without a “big tent” and that shuns those who they do not agree with.

The problem is that the opposition will make this accusation no matter what and it is my opinion that the propaganda of the loyal opposition should not play a role in our commitment to the conservative principles which are the backbone of our Party and the source of security and prosperity for our nation. The attempt to create, what may be a litmus test, is something that, in the case of a political organization, could actually be quite useful when it comes to insuring that all its participants are working towards the same goals.

Many of us lay claim to one party or the other, not for the sake of the party name, but because, for us, it represents a set of core values that amount to an ideological approach to all matters. We are Republicans or Democrats, not because of its organizational membership but rather for the principles it represents and our belief that those principles need to be applied to the practical application of government.

Congressman Bopp puts it this way;

“All we’re requiring is that somebody agree with us most of the time,”

The point is legitimate. Especially from the standpoint of the RepublicanParty as a national entity which expends its resources on candidates at all levels, from Governor’s, to congressmen and senators. From a national point, does it make sense to endorse and finance the candidacy of an individual who claims to be a Republican but actually maintains an agenda that opposes the approach to governance and policies that the Republican National Committee is working toward?

The Bopp resolution has merit. It does not prohibit state or local Republican parties from endorsing and financing the candidacy of any Republican that they choose. But it does restrict the national party from aiding candidates who are counterproductive to our goals. This type of party policy would have come in quite handy in a case like New Yorks 23rd Congeressional District, where a group of Republican County chairmen tapped Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava to be the Republican nominee for Congress. This local level decision committed the Nationa Party to dedicate a hefty sum of money and resources to her campaign. But as it turned it, Scozzafava shared very little in common with the national Republican agenda. As the differences between her and the Party she claims to a member of beacame more and more clear, Republican voters began to flee from Scozzafava’s candidacy. many felt that there was no need to support a liberal oriented candidate when another one was honest enough to run under the banner of the more liberal oriented Party.

Before all was said and done, Scozzafava withdrew from the race only three day before Election Day. In the meantime, the RNC spent a few hundred thousand dollars on the failed candidacy of someone who mine as well have been a Democrat.

Some argue that such “lists” as the one which outlines 10 specific general principles that we as Republicans hold true is trivial. They feel it is ridiculous and stands in the way of freewill and freethinking. Some have stated that such a “list” this is the “dumbest idea they ever heard” .

I contend that one can try to trivialize this attempt as a “ stupid llist” but those who do, also run the risk of having that same flippant attitude applied to any documentation of what one believes in. One can try describe The Ten Commandments as a mere ”checklist of talking points and issues” and deemed as “the dumbest” Christian idea they “have heard in (their) lifetime“. One could also call those who believe in abiding by the Ten Commandments as part of a “fringe” group” but such interpretations would be would be ignorant and inappropriate.

Furthermore; why can an individual organization not establish its own operational guidelines and stipulate its stated goals and beliefs, especially of the governing rules of that organization allows a democratic vote to adopt such guidelines and reiterate what it stands for? Who is anyone to say that such actions are inappropriate? As for freewill, one is free to not particpaqte in any group or organization that does not share their views.

So I have no problem with the intent of the resolution. If there is enough support and if it is not somehow blocked by RNC Chairman Michael Steele, it could be voted on at the winter meeting of the Republican National Committee in January. My only suggestion would be to change some of the language. As much a devoted fan of one of the greatest contemporary Presidents , I would not base this resolution on one man only. As it existsnow the resolution is called the “RNC Resolution on Reagan’s Unity Principle for Support of Candidates“. I am not sure if that is the wisest way to go to about this. But I will also admit this. I would not want to be the one who goes on record as refusing to use the name of Ronald Reagan.

How far this resolution will go is not yet known. A spokesperson fot the RNC stated

”The deadline for submitting Resolutions for the RNC Winter Meeting is more than 30 days away. At this point, we do not know what resolutions will be submitted nor what the final language of any resolution ultimately submitted may be,”.

Below, you will find a poll asking your opinion on the issue and below that is the actual resolution and a likst of the National Committee Members who have so far sihnmed on to it. Review it and record your support or opposition to the reolution in our poll

The “Proposed RNC Resolution on Reagan’s Unity Principle for Support of Candidates” follows:

WHEREAS, President Ronald Reagan believed that the Republican Party should support and espouse conservative principles and public policies; and

WHEREAS, President Ronald Reagan also believed the Republican Party should welcome those with diverse views; and

WHEREAS, President Ronald Reagan believed, as a result, that someone who agreed with him 8 out of 10 times was his friend, not his opponent; and

WHEREAS, Republican faithfulness to its conservative principles and public policies and Republican solidarity in opposition to Obama’s socialist agenda is necessary to preserve the security of our country, our economic and political freedoms, and our way of life; and

WHEREAS, Republican faithfulness to its conservative principles and public policies is necessary to restore the trust of the American people in the Republican Party and to lead to Republican electoral victories; and

WHEREAS, the Republican National Committee shares President Ronald Reagan’s belief that the Republican Party should espouse conservative principles and public policies and welcome persons of diverse views; and

WHEREAS, the Republican National Committee desires to implement President Reagan’s Unity Principle for Support of Candidates; and

WHEREAS, in addition to supporting candidates, the Republican National Committee provides financial support for Republican state and local parties for party building and federal election activities, which benefits all candidates and is not affected by this resolution; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Republican National Committee identifies ten (10) key public policy positions for the 2010 election cycle, which the Republican National Committee expects its public officials and candidates to support:

(1) We support smaller government, smaller national debt, lower deficits and lower taxes by opposing bills like Obama’s “stimulus” bill;

(2) We support market-based health care reform and oppose Obama-style government run healthcare;

(3) We support market-based energy reforms by opposing cap and trade legislation;

(4) We support workers’ right to secret ballot by opposing card check;

(5) We support legal immigration and assimilation into American society by opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants;

(6) We support victory in Iraq and Afghanistan by supporting military-recommended troop surges;

(7) We support containment of Iran and North Korea, particularly effective action to eliminate their nuclear weapons threat;

(8) We support retention of the Defense of Marriage Act;

(9) We support protecting the lives of vulnerable persons by opposing health care rationing, denial of health care and government funding of abortion; and

(10) We support the right to keep and bear arms by opposing government restrictions on gun ownership; and be further

RESOLVED, that a candidate who disagrees with three or more of the above stated public policy positions of the Republican National Committee, as identified by the voting record, public statements and/or signed questionnaire of the candidate, shall not be eligible for financial support and endorsement by the Republican National Committee; and be further

RESOLVED, that upon the approval of this resolution the Republican National Committee shall deliver a copy of this resolution to each of Republican members of Congress, all Republican candidates for Congress, as they become known, and to each Republican state and territorial party office.

Neighborhood: North Beach/Telegraph Hill
1570 Stockton St
San Francisco, CA 94133
(415) 835-9888

Let me just say that being from the East Coast, I am a true lover of all things pizza. I have tried pizza in every place this city has to offer and it all mostly sucks. I wasn’t sure – I thought that maybe it was the water here and that somehow the dough just didn’t turn out right. I’ll list my notable mentions at the bottom of this, but I think finally after 10 years of searching that San Francisco might ACTUALLY know what really good pizza tastes like. Because not to be a pizza snob, but the best pizza is on the East Coast – hands down.

Side Note: Tony is apparently a World Cup Pizza winner in Naples Italy in 2007. Everything is baked in 3 different wood fired ovens.

What we tried:

To Start:

Insalata of Gorgonzola con Mele – Arugula and Mixed Greens Tossed in their House Made Apple Vinaigrette, Imported Italian Gorgonzola, Candied Pecans, Fresh Apples, and Dried Cranberries. If I didn’t eat this first I could have finished my entire pizza. No kidding.

[STG Pizza Napoletana] Tony’s famous award winning Margherita Pizza – super thin crust, the type of pizza that requires you to fold it in half in your hand while the grease slides down your wrist. It says rustic medium crust but this crust is quite thin and not too crispy on the bottom. He only makes 73 of these per day so if you want to try it, you should get in there before 7pm.
[Classic American] The Original Tomato Pie (New Jersey Style) – thin crust pizza, reminds me more of New York style, crispy bottom, a few slices of mozzarella cheese and loaded with delicious hand crushed tomato sauce. This is definitely a sauce lover’s pizza.

All Classic American Pizzas are baked in a NY Flat Top Gas Brick Oven
All Classic American Pizzas have Hand Crushed Tomato Sauce and a Hand Tossed Rustic Medium Crust Unless Noted. Using Pendleton Flour.

All STG Pizza Napoletana are baked in a 900 Degree wood fired oven. Dough Mixed by Hand using San Felice Flour then proofed in Neapolitan Wood Boxes,San Marzano Tomatoes DOP, Sea Salt, Mozzarella Fior di Latte, Fresh Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Campani

Definitely no room for dessert. And being Italian, I wasn’t blown away by the choices. But you don’t go here for dessert, you go here for pizza. They also have Sicilian style pizza, and Classic Italian style pizza (like a flat bread), kids meals and pastas. But again, go for the pizza – you will not be disappointed.

And did I mention that they do takeout?

Menu: http://www.tonyspizzanapoletana.com/menu.php (flash required)

Notable mentions in SF:

ZA Gourmet Pizza (Nob Hill) – 1919 Hyde St at Green St, (415) 771-310, zapizzasf.com
- this place has a cornmeal crust and it’s crispy – quite good actually. They deliver, takeout and eat in.

Tomasso Ristorante Italiano (Financial District/NorthBeach) – 1042 Kearny St, (415) 398-9696, – an Italian restaurant but their pizza is thin crusted, can get a little soft from the weight of the pizza, but it’s always good.

Mangia! Mangia!

Wiley will publish the memoir MATRIX INTELLIGENCE: Remote Viewing Cases from the World’s Premier Psychic Spy by Major Ed Dames in November 2010. A decorated military intelligence officer and former member of the controversial NSA-ARMY-sponsored Psychic Espionage Unit, Dames is the country’s foremost proponent of the psychic practice known as “remote viewing” — an intelligence gathering technique whose practitioners can see events from a distance anywhere in time and space.

MATRIX INTELLIGENCE will take readers behind the scenes of Dames’ most fascinating and offbeat cases applying his unique detective skills to the most baffling military Black Ops in modern times, as well as tackling mysteries so unusual and gruesome, they could be ripped from the darkest recesses of our imaginations. MATRIX INTELLIGENCE will also explore the often traumatic past that helped shape his life, a life that led a self-described wild child from the backwoods of New Jersey into the company of presidents, princes and movie stars.

When we saw Brain Zoubek in person against Collingswood in the South Jersey championship game during his senior season we had one thought: “This guy is the next Eric Montross, a seven-foot stiff.”

Haddonfield, N.J., native and Duke senior Brian Zoubek is showing signs of life in his senior year.

He just was not physical and looked at the referees every time he ended up on the ground against a scrappy Collingswood squad.

The start to his Duke career is clearly not what Coach K envisioned when recruiting the Haddonfield native as a sophomore. He pretty much rode the pine his first couple of years and battled injuries. Even this year, his senior season, he is not starting.

Today, however, may have been his coming out party as he helped Duke control the offensive boards in a 68-59 win over UConn. Zoubek, who played 21 minutes, swept the glass for 11 boards, including eight on the offensive end.

While he may be starting to show a rebounding prowess, the kid still managed just two points on 1-of-5 shooting. Having said that, he did manage to rack up three assists.

If he can continue progressing this season in big0-time games like this, he may put himself back in the mix as a potential late first round pick next spring.

I just read in NJ.com that the builders of Alexan CityView on the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor, along with several local churches, schools, fire departments and police departments will be joining forces in order to collect and distribute coats to the needy in New Jersey. This year, they hope to collect 40,000 coats.

The builders of Alexan CityView at Bayonne Harbor have volunteered the community’s clubhouse as a drop- off center for this year’s annual coat drive.

It is sad to think that some folks are in such difficult financial situations that they cannot afford even the most basic necessities, such as a winter coat. But at the same time, it is also encouraging that we can help by simply donating a coat that we no longer use. I imagine that if I were in a similar situation, I would be extremely grateful for a coat to keep me warm through the coming winter.

I was thinking about it and Instead of just taking a few old coats that I no longer use, I think I’ll talk to my family and some friends and see if they have any used coats that are in good condition that they would like to donate. That way, I can go ahead and drop theirs off at the same time that I take mine.

If you would like to donate a coat that is in good condition, you can drop it off between now and December 15 at the Alexan CityView on the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor’s clubhouse located at 32 Constitution Avenue.

Liberal Hypocrisy Proven Again! They Want A War Tax But Some Won't Pay Any Taxes

    I consistently contend that liberals are hypocrites and that the contemporary, predominantly liberal, Democrat Party, possesses a hypocrisy based ideology.

Hypocrisy is so ingrained in liberalism that it seeps into everything from the way they do business to the policies they promote and the double standards they operate under.

For example. A $400 million dollar deficit after 8 years of President G.W. Bush drew repeated public denunciations by the left and cries of irresponsibility (which is actually true) but an epic $1.85 trillion deficit in 10 months under President Obama is seen as a good thing by liberals now.

Liberals claimed that Clarence Thomas was unfit for the Supreme Court because a comment he made about pubic hair on a can of coke inspired one Anita Hill to accuse him of sexual harassment. But according to these same liberals, the dozens of sexual harassment charges against President B.J Clinton, including those settled out of court, had no bearing on how fit he was to be Commander-and-Chief.

The list is endless, but recently I was struck by a group of liberal, civilian, conscientious objectors who oppose our national security interests and the war against the enemies confronting us.

WarTaxBoycott.org proudly promotes their “2009 War Tax Boycott” and they even ask you to participate in their 2010 War Tax Boycott. I was floored by the message this site offered. What shocked me was not their total refusal to understand why we are at war, or their unwillingness to accept the fact that what we are in the middle of is borne out of necessity (as President Obama admits). No. What made my eyes pop out was the utterly ridiculous level of hypocrisy they confirmed.

Here is some of what the site explained:

“$141,696 redirected from war to projects that serve humanity!

Half the signers to the 2009 War Tax Boycott refused to pay federal income taxes to the IRS and are giving the money to Direct Aid Iraq, Common Ground Health Clinic, or hundreds of other projects of their choice.”

Here’s the kicker…………….

“Other signers have chosen to reduce their income so that none of their money will go to war — with the added benefit of less consumerism.”

I was astonished by the liberal admission of the fact that less income in the pockets of individuals results in “less consumerism”.

Now in the case of this Brooklyn based pit of hypocrisy, they see less consumerism as a good thing because the reduced purchase power and lack of profit in America, in their small, warped minds, is an added sign of protest against our national security. However; the bottom line is that these liberals clearly connect less money in the pockets of taxpayers with less consumerism. So another words if one were to be allowed to keep more of the money they earned, they would spend more and their would be more of that much hoped for consumerism.

Is this not the exact same point they argue against when they denounce tax cuts?

In the meantime, while you have a portion of the Democrat Party refusing to pay their taxes because of our defense efforts, you have a leading liberal, Congressman David Obey, demanding that we create a “war tax”.

Are liberals actually this confused or are they really as stupid as they sound and act?

But just to accentuate the undeniability of liberal hypocrisy, I should mention that people like Congressman David Obey and Joe Klein, the liberal, so-called journalist of Time, are currently trying to argue that a “war tax” is patriotic, yet, at the same time, do they call it unpatriotic when liberals refuse to pay any taxes, as demonstrated by the 2009 War Tax Protest group?

The endless hypocrisy of the left is painfully obvious and incredibly obscene. But if you really want to blow a gasket, check out what Joe Klein had to say about Congressman Obey’s war tax. Not only does it add to my point, it also demonstrates the blatant level of political insincerity that liberals possess. Klein’s brief opinion of the war tax reveals the real reason behind it.

It is an attempt, on the part of the left, to exploit the war effort and turn it into a wedge issue to attack Republicans with. And we all know it! After all, do any of us believe that the same government which claims that stimulus dollares are creating jobs in Congressional Districts that do not exist , is actually going to insure us that their war tax goes to the war effort? Absolutely not!

These hypocrites really need to stop the lies and put an end to the games they’re playing.
