I love how provocative the outfits are….this is Beyoncé on fire…and we already know Lady Gaga likes to literally set the stage on fire.

Before i get started i would just like to say yes it’s already charted in the 20’s but i wanted to review it because its such a “I’m gonna shit on you and make you taste it track”. “Fight for this love” was the biggest selling single of the year so far and ok the song itself wasn’t too bad considering she’s a northern hottie with about as much talent as a frozen leg of mutton (Yeah i know she didn’t write the song). We are all expecting another little pop ditty however we get a poorly shot video, a song which lacks a chorus with any umph and about as much personality as wet flannel which is teaming with maggots. Cheryl darl ive got three words for you “HOT HOT HOT”, juxtaposed to that comment ive got another three words for you “BOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU SUCK!”

The master of auto-tune is back with another auto-tune R&B mucky bounce of a track. T-Pain has many a hater and I’m sorry to say I’m one of them.  His stupid manner of singing about girls and sex witticisms is getting on my fucking nerves. Freeze was ok (bearable if you are a sleep and the songs on mute). So just leave our eardrums alone you bloody cochlea bursting auto-tune moron… as the for the song itself ….. its actually ok!

Y’all heard the live version now here is the record version like i said before its like the orginal but with that Alicia Keys twist.

On Sunday I went to Nottingham to see the Arctic Monkeys Live and they were fucking amazing!. I preferred the much up tempo songs such as “pretty visitors” and “View from the afternoon” as oppose to “Cornerstone” because the immense noise and power in their performance. The classics were met with Sweaty moshing and a collection of voices.  All though the best song by far in my opinion was “pretty visitors” so here it is in its raw form.

It’s the afternoon of Tuesday, November 24th and I’m sat in the basement of my house.  It’s as good a creative center as anywhere else.  Josh Braiden from One Man’s Opinion, a band here in Windsor, is guitar tracking for the “Still Here” film soundtrack.  Over the past four weeks or so, myself, Cerah Steele (vocals), and Josh (with the input and assistance from producers Lindsay McLeod and Brendan Byrne have) have been chipping away at a daunting task – recording an entire album as the film’s soundtrack.  I suppose this is like scoring in a sense… but it’s the biggest musical undertaking I’ve done for a film yet.

Currently Josh is tracking acoustic guitar for a song original written and performed by Pat Robtaille titled “God’s Walking Not Far Behind”.   The goal of this soundtrack is to make it a demo cassette for a 17 year old character in the film.  The film revolves around her death so her music is one of the only ways the audience will connect to her as a character and what her life meant to those around her who are trying to survive the tragedy.

If for some reason you’re reading this and you don’t know me already (can’t imagine people are just stumbling across this by accident) then you might not have seen the trailer for this film, so if you dare… spare… a few minutes of your time to feast your eyes on the trailer:

The music in this trailer is two tracks by Third Eye Blind – “Slow Motion” and “Forget Myself”.  Third Eye Blind will have a song on the Still Here soundtrack… of course sung by our gal to be part of the “demo feel”.

I love music so much.  I don’t know if I can go without being part of producing all my soundtracks from here on in.  Working with Josh has been fantastic thus far.  Listening to someone play acoustic guitar all day long is the best backdrop as I sit here writing business plans, blogging, editing my life away.

Oh goodie look who came crawling back with a new single! You remember these guys dont you, the guys who made “A-Punk”, oh so you now remember (sorry for bringing back that horrific memory). Well i was hoping they would disappear for good but what the soul wants, the soul doesnt get. So anyway about this nightmare of a song. More fizzy beats,  Screaming strings, Weak vocals and another quirky video…. For me its their best work yet…. But sometimes your best isnt good enough!

Iyaz is currently sitting pretty at number three at in the US chart.  So firstly we had “Kiss me thru the phone” from Soulja boy, then we had just recently “Whatcha say” by Jason Derulo and now to add the R&B catchy ringtone friendly “tunage” we can add replay. Although lyrically and vocally this song stinks like scooby doo’s fith leg, the melody carries it through.  The typical cliché of the simplicity of the american lifestyle tries to carry this video, but the only thing i’m staring at is the girl in the video…. You know the one in the bikini…. I like!.

Evan Chandler has finally learned that chickens always come home to roost.

In life he was never forced to answer his crime of extortion and slander that he committed on the late King of Pop, when he forced his son to lie about an alledged molestation that Michael Jackson had committed on him.

He accepted a financial payment of 15 million dollars to settle the case of sexual molestation, which proved to me that it was all a lie, designed to extort money from the king of pop, because really people….who does that.

There is no father on the planet earth that settles a sexual molestation case for any amount of money for a crime against his own child, and if they do, that should be criminal.

It all never happened, and from all reports,the karma that was visited upon this family for this graft against Michael Jackson, destroyed their family, rightly so.

I believe that they earned all the disdain and contempt from the world, for this criminal act.

Evan Chandler,65,the father of a boy who accused Michael Jackson of child molestation, Jordan ‘Jordy’ Chandler has been found dead in an apparent suicide.

The Beverly Hills dentist a Jersey City official said Chandler was found in bed with a single gunshot wound to his head. He was still holding the gun when the body was found. He took his own worthless life,which is the most honorable thing this criminal could have done.

A source confirmed the death, which occurred on Nov. 5.

Police said it does not appear that he left behind a suicide note.

Evan Chandler reported Jackson to authorities in 1993, claiming that the singer had abused his son Jordan, then 13. Jordan repeated the accusations to a psychologist, sparking a criminal investigation.

 Chandler and his son settled out of court for a reported $15 million and never publicly discussed the case.

The former dentist and aspiring screenwriter had several cosmetic procedures, rendering him virtually unrecognizable from the way he looked since the Jackson matter, a family source said as reported in the New York Post.

It is said that Evan Chandler looked like a botoxed version of a young Rob Lowe in the body of a 65  year old. I hear that he truly had a shocking bad plastic surgery look to his messed up face. Some have said he looked ridiculous.

Who knows maybe he wanted more than Michael Jackson’s money, it looks like he tried to copy what was perceived by the public as an addiction to plastic surgery that left him unrecognizable as well, but at least he was a star entertainment, this extortionist had no excuse but his mental instability.

His son did not want have anything to do with him, because he is ashamed and knows that the world hates him for lying about Michael Jackson in such an unseemly way. His dad masterminded the whole set-up of lies, because he was mad at his ex-wife, and wanted to punish her as much as possible.

The dad should have been incarcerated for child abuse and extortion a long time ago, now it’s too late.

Jordan Chandler claimed his dad attacked him with a dumbbell weight and got a restraining order against his dad in fall 2006.

The boy, now 29, has never spoken publicly about the case. In recent years, Jordan has reconnected with his mother — about the same time he and dad Evan had a massive falling out, sources said.

It looks like to me Evan Chandler did not want to have anything to do with himself as well.

Let it be known that there will be no city shut down, no throngs of mourning fans, and no billion dollar cottage industry developed in your honor to continue your legacy of love, caring, sharing, or musical genius.

No, your passing will not even be a significant moment in even the life of your children, because you have doomed them to a life of disrespect from their fellow man…because of your evil deeds.

You sold you families life for a mere fifteen million dollars, and I hope you were thinking about that when you pulled that trigger, sending that bullet through your brain.

I call it Karma. I just Michael Jackson had not been murdered by his doctor so he could have seen the downfall of this devil that haunted him with assistance of a rogue Santa Barbara District Attorney.

Everyone connected with the MJ false trial has ended up badly, and I am certain the same will happen for the DA  as well…time will only tell.

Now I think Jordan Chandler should man up and tell the truth.

Claire and I posted a new song on the web site this weekend, and we hope you will check it out. It’s called The Do-Re-Mi Health Care Blues. Most of the words are original, but it is a take-off of Woody Guthrie’s song Do-Re-Mi. Woody’s song highlighted the plight of extremely hard-hit folks looking for work in the dust bowl days. They were actually blockaded from entering California by the State Police because they could not show they were financially sound. Our song uses a similar sentiment to draw attention to the Health Care crisis we are now facing in our nation.

Socialism? Maybe, but no more than any other democratized and capitalized country in the West .  I’m in South Dakota this week, and the “health care scare” is full blown here. The media is saturated with ads selling propaganda that we can’t afford health care reform now; or more time is needed to study the problem; or the government will make your health care decisions for you. The truth is we can’t afford not to implement an equitable system now that will cover everyone.  There are options for an improved system that can lower costs and provide the level of care those of us fortunate enough to have insurance are accustomed to.

Frontline, the PBS documentary series, recently aired a show entitled “Sick Around the World” which I would recommend to everyone. T.R. Reid travels to five countries, interviewing health care workers and politicians about the health care system in their country; how it works, how effective it is, and how it is paid for. If you can’t locate the show on the air (channel 9 in Seattle area) you can watch it in its entirety at PBS.ORG on your computer. There you can also find a summary of the health care systems of the United Kingdom, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, and Switzerland as presented in the documentary.

Like most of the western world, the countries in the documentary have universal coverage – not only affordable, but available to everyone. All provide health care at a lower cost, and a much lower percentage of their gross domestic product than our government. Two countries (Taiwan and Switzerland) passed universal coverage only 20 years ago while our politicians were fighting change with a vengeance. Switzerland has the second most costly system on the planet, but it doesn’t come near the cost in our homeland. They even sell their drugs here to boost their profit margin.

This is not magic if other countries are doing it. Taiwan started by looking world wide at what other counties are doing. Our health care model was one of the first discarded in their search. What has our government done since 1984 to improve access to health-care and control spiraling costs? Not much. It appears the Contract on America was a Contract on Health Care as well.

The UK has a single payer system where health care is paid for and provided by the government through taxes. Insurance companies in the other countries are heavily regulated. In Germany and Switzerland no profits are allowed on basic health care. Our insurance companies don’t want regulations, nor do they want the competition from a public option. They pocket a third of the premiums, and the rising cost of care only increases their take.
