Empezó a bailar debido a una lesión que sufrió jugando al fútbol. Esther comenta:”Mientras practicaba mi deporte favorito me lesioné la rodilla y estuve un año recuperándome sin hacer absolutamente nada, fue en ese momento cuando descubrí el hip – hop, y no he parado desde entonces”.

Esta breaker catalana sueña con bailar el resto de su vida. Quiere dedicar todo su tiempo a estar encima de un escenario y montar sus propias coreografías. La gusta mucho la danza, y no se imagina haciendo otra cosa que no sea bailar.

It’s time to being our “classic” genetics unit. But first let’s rewind to last Friday. So I’m sitting in a session on “the genetics of complex traits” at the NABT meeting and the sesson leader suggested we all turn our genetics units upside down and backwards. Why? Becuase monogenic traits like “widow’s peak” and “round seeds” are more the exception than the rule. Further more, polygenic traits like height and susceptibility to disease are the types of traits that natural selection works on. What does this mean for you guys? It means we’ll be thinking this stuff through together and taking a more conceptual approach to genetics. In fact, you won’t even see a Punnet Square until sometime next week…I think.

We’ll do a week and a half of “classic” genetics, take our Thanksgiving Break, and come back to perform our last big lab of the year: “Investigating Mitochondrial Genetics using Pedigree Analysis and Molecular Techniques

Este canario ha recibido clases de new style en Los Ángeles, pero, tal y como él mismo dice, está deseando entrar en la Escuela más televisiva para ampliar su formación y ser un bailarín completo.

Ianko se define como una persona honesta, cabezota y muy perfeccionista. Lo que más le gusta hacer, además de bailar, es practicar deporte y viajar.

Don’t worry, you’ve landed on the right page!  We have a new look but all the content is still here.  The site was growing so quickly that the old style couldn’t keep up any more.  When the recipe pages started showing two scroll bars, I knew we were in trouble but when the third & fourth scroll bars showed up, there was no doubt that we had outgrown the site!  This new style should work for awhile, and definitely makes it easier to see the recipes page index on the right – without scroll bars!   And you can still jump directly to the main pages using the tabs across the top.

Hey Yall!

Actually I have to go meet my friends for breakfast/brunch in like OoOooo 6 minutes but hair is on my mind now. First. I have taken out my 2-strand until Thansgiving which means I am at school and I have to wear my hair out for 3 yes THREE whole weeks. So yesterday I washed and Cornrowed it..and surprisingly, I am getting way way way better cornrowing. I am extra pleased with me. Monday morning I have a test so for the rest of the day I’ll be in the library [gym for 30 mins] then library again. I HAVE to do well it’s System Physiology..ugh.

I made my appointment for when I go home November 28th and I’m gettin a trim that I really need. at home [in Philly] I go to Duafe. Love the place they do my hair excellent and it’s kinda fun in there [conversations] only problem- a little pricey for my lil college self. But I’ll make do… GOTTA GO!! wish me luck on this test!!
