Es ist wieder soweit und T-Mobile lädt erneut zu den Xtreme Playgrounds ins Velodrom Berlin. Euch erwartet ein prall gefülltes Programm mit 44 der besten Skateboarder und BMXer aus der ganzen Welt.  Im Brettsportbereich steht diesmal das Finale der World Cup Skateboardingtour 2009 zur Begutachtung. Aber auch im Zweiradgenre ist für Aufsehen gesorgt, wenn die besten der Besten an den Start gehen und auf die Rampen los gelassen werden.

Neben den sportlichen Ereignissen gibt es auch diesmal wieder absolute Highlights zu bewundern, denn es werden die Puppetmastaz, Blumentopf und auch Deichkind die Bühne stürmen, um das Programm mit der richtigen Musik vollends ab zu runden. Selbstverständlich werden wir versuchen, für euch im vollem Umfang von den Playgrounds zu berichten.

Sie äußerte sich auch zu der Zukunft der Musikindustrie und den daraus resultierenden Folgen für die Künstler:

“Ich denke die Musikindustrie hat sich bereits verändert. Die Künstler werden es schwerer haben ihr Einkommen aus dem Verkauf von Alben zu beziehen, eher durch Ihre Auftritte. Für viele Bands ist das bereits jetzt der Fall. Das ist die größte Veränderung.  Die Zeiten haben sich geändert, das ist eine neue Ära. Als es damals nur Jazz und Bluesbands gab, haben die Künstler ihr Geld auch nicht mit dem Verkauf von Platten verdient, sondern mit ihren Auftritten. Ich glaube wir befinden uns aktuell wieder in einer solchen Zeit. Aber, so ist das Leben. Es wird schwerer für die Musikindustrie neue Künstler am Markt zu etablieren. Wir müssen noch kreativer sein um in Zukunft unsere Musik an den Mann zu bringen.“
