Colin Addison – Addison was at the helm during the difficult days of the Petty era, keeping results fair on the field despite the carnage off it. Therefore it was something of a surprise when the newly installed consortium decided to dispense with Addison’s services; it all left Colin agonisingly asking Huw to Tell Me Why

Nick Cusack – He was the hero of the Petty era, standing up to the evil owner and helping to save the Swans and so everyone wanted to see him succeed when he took over the managerial reins from Addison. Sadly, by his own admission, Cusack was never cut out for the dug out and made many a mistake in his short reign so how about I Slipped, I Stumbled, I Fell

Brian Flynn – Credited with keeping the Swans in the Football League things looked good for Flynn the following season as his Trundle-inspired side started with a bang. It wasn’t to last though and as his side started slipping away Huw was forced to fire Flynn, telling him You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’

Kenny Jackett – If you were to sum up the style of Jackett’s team then it would be fair to say “functional”. Other less diplomatic fans would say it was “long ball” and so Presley’s Big Boots would seem most appropriate.

Roberto Martinez – Roberto was that breath of fresh air through the club after the Jackett era had gone stale. He came in, got us playing proper football again and delivered a League One title and promotion. The fans idolised him and he repaid them by walking out for Wigan…therefore After Loving You is the perfect Presley ditty to sum up his defection.

Paulo Sousa – He had the suits. He had the hairstyle. He had two Champions League winner’s medals. He had the haughty arrogance that went with all of that and so it has to be I’ve Got Confidence.

Brendan Rodgers – Err, this is the man that took the Swans into the Premier League and kept them there whilst playing the most attractive football in the country…what other song than Loving You could possibly fit the bill? Well how about From a Jack to a King ?
