He was sleeping today and he had a dream or something cos he was whining while he was sleeping. That’s so cute. That’s kinda like how I sleep talk.
And just now, I saw a tick on the floor, so I looked in his ears to see if any were in there and I bent down close to him and he licked me all over my face. Which reminds me, I have a video of Nicky licking my face.
We bathed Nicky today, poor guy was traumatised. Refused to come near me after I was done. But I don’t think I washed him very well because he still smells of dog. And he had a piece of shit at his ass.
And he lies down on the floor so cutely, I can’t stand it. I really can’t stand that he’s so cute.
He’s like a teddy bear, I wish I could just cuddle him and sleep.
I wanna gobble him up!

Filippo preziosi, Direttore generale di Ducati Corse, 39 anni ha sempre avuto le moto e la Ducati nel sangue.  A 24 anni si laurea con il massimo dei voti in Ingegneria Meccanica a Bologna. Due anni dopo, nel 1994, entra in Ducati diventando a novembre dello stesso anno Responsabile dell’Ufficio Tecnico delle Corse. Da lì comincia la sua carriera, che passando per la Superbike, lo vede oggi Direttore Generale Ducati Corse e principale fautore del miracolo della casa di Borgo Panigale: il ritorno ai vertici della Motogp e la continua crescita fino alla vittoria del Campionato del Mondo nel 2007. Il resto è storia.

Stoner dopo lo stop forzato per problemi di salute è rientrato alla grande, mettendo a tacere le voci che lo davano addirittura prossimo ad un ritiro dalle competizioni. Avete mai avuto paura che questo ritiro fosse davvero possibile? Conosciamo Casey, io e Ducati non abbiamo mai pensato che potesse ritirarsi e lui stesso non ha mai palesato l’intenzione di smettere di correre. Sicuramente si è trovato in una condizione fisica molto difficile per cui ha pensato che l’unica cosa che poteva fare era riposarsi.

Stoner ha lottato fino all’ultimo per un podio in campionato. Senza lo stop di quest’anno sarebbe stato il terzo incomodo nella lotta Rossi-Lorenzo? Sicuramente nel momento in cui ha cominciato a stare male, cioè nella gara di Barcellona, Casey era competitivo perché era in testa nel mondiale e arrivavano delle piste nelle quali Ducati si era rivelata molto forte. Chiaramente questo è uno dei motivi per cui lui è rimasto più dispiaciuto di doversi fermare; sentiva di avere una moto con la quale poteva essere competitivo fino alla fine ma fisicamente non era in grado di farlo.

Come giudichi la stagione 2009 della Ducati? Una stagione molto difficile. Bisogna però guardare sempre il lato buono delle cose, abbiamo ritrovato un pilota fortissimo (Casey) che si trova a suo agio con la nostra moto. Nicky Hayden ha fatto quinto nel Gp della Malesia e un podio a Indianapolis, nelle ultime gare da Barcellona in poi è sempre stato competitivo per cui penso che abbia superato le difficoltà della prima metà della stagione.

“Rolling Stoner” (letteralmente pietra rotolante) era il soprannome di Casey per la propensione alle cadute. Nel 2007 cosa vi ha fatto decidere di puntare fortemente su di lui? Casey nelle categorie minori e poi anche nel 2006 era caduto spesso ma aveva dimostrato di essere molto veloce e si vedeva che aveva un grandissimo talento. Credo sia più facile che un pilota velocissimo diventi molto regolare piuttosto che uno regolarissimo diventi molto  veloce. Questo è un principio che vale sempre nelle moto e quindi anche per lui.

I don’t think Kris Allen is going anywhere in that department, because during his interviews he always turned three shades of red and said, “AWW GWARSH…”   Just like Goofy from Disney does.

Zumba is moeilijk, vermoeiend en zweterig. I love it! Al kan ik wel geen seconde naar mezelf in de spiegel kijken. Ik voelde me een zwetende walrus met blozende wangen. En dan zeker niet te vergeten die broek die niet omhoog bleef.

Ik loop al jaren met dezelfde zwarte joggingsbroek uit de H&M rond om te ’sporten’ (lees: in de zetel te hangen, naar de bakker te fietsen en met de honden te wandelen), en blijkbaar is de losse elastiek (wat ik  normaal alleen maar toejuich, dat die los zit) iets te los voor de salsamoves van Zumba.

Ik kon er echt niks van. Wij krijgen hier les van Nicky Vernieuwe uit  ’So you think you can dance’ een dansprogramma dat nu elke zondag op VTM komt. En het was voor mij echt moeilijk, chachacha, mambo, pas de boerré (of hoe schrijf je dat). Maar ik deed ijverig mee en ik ben met rode wangen en bezweet buitengekomen. De nodige caloriën kwijt.

Ik ga volgende week zeker terug al is het maar om de les te verstoren door telkens de verkeerde kant op te draaien of te zwaaien. En dat ziet er dus echt zo uit als je nu denkt. Ik ben klaar om in een nieuwe Bridget Jones film te spelen. Maar dan wel één die over echt dikke vrouwen gaat. (Hebben jullie dat boek gelezen? Ik denk dat ze het heeft over 58 of 60 kilo. Dat meen ik mij te herinneren. Excuse me if I’m wrong. Maar dat is dus mager!)

Lara went on Friday with her friend Nicky from work, and it was really cute!  There was stuff from the TV show, like Rachel’s pink bridesmaid dress, Phoebe’s weird 3-D art, and the cover of Ross’ hand-drawn “Science Boy” comic.  The coffee was pretty good too!  It’s located just off Carnaby Street in London, and is there until 7th October – if anyone is in London!

John and Nicky’s parents have dangerous jobs as volcano experts, so John and Nicky have to eat healthy meals all the time, including carrot soup, raw cabbage, onion rings and diced turnip. They can only dream of food like chips and chocolate cake.

But a competition prize which wins them a trip around their local spaghetti factory has some unexpected and very tasty results!

We got Nicky’s new birth certificate a few days ago. He is oficially a Reitano Puerta now!
