Erm… right. As to yesterday’s entry, I’d had a bottle of wine and was feeling tipsy! So I woke up a little while ago but that wasn’t the first time I’ve been awake today – I woke up at 9ish and asked Chris for a drink, then woke up at 11 for a while before falling back to sleep.

I then went on to dreaming about Tony Gordon and then Cedric Diggory as Edward Cullen. There was a lot of blood in the first one and someone who was meant to be Hayley was in it. She killed him and then went on to try and kill me and someone else (can’t remember who it was now) but Tony was only pretending to be dead and I saw him alive right at the end. The other one was basically Cedric running around the grounds of a grand house during the day and I was trying to protect him and make sure he didn’t fry.

Oh, there was another weird one with loads of rain and another one where Nicolai was with us and we got into a lift (anyone who knows me knows that I have a mortal fear of them and when I dream of them, it never ends well) and I don’t think Chris was there but my first thought was to hold on tight to him like I usually do in lifts. But anyway, the lift only went down a couple of floors but it sort of span on it’s way down instead of just going straight. As soon as the doors opened, I ran out and went into the street to wait for the others to come out. Nicolai came out, followed by my Nan and Jacqueline, who for some reason, had purple hair with glitter? I think that was it. That was the first one I before the weird rain one and the Tony Gordon one and the Cedric one.

I still feel tired! Gonna have some pasta and tomato Ragu. Chris’ sister had loads of her friends round last night and they were singing and shouting until about 1am. I said that they were lightweights but now I know it’s because they were going somewhere today. I heard Alex shouting about it this morning when I first woke up. Think they’re prolly going to Camden. Chris pointed out that their group of friends was like how we were back in the day but the other way round; we had 2 girls and a bunch of boys. I’ve always got on better with boys, ever since junior school. Funny really how two of my best friends, who were best friends, are completely different now. One of them is a complete and utter chav (which surprised me) and the other is normal (but I knew he would be). As for the other two, one of them is a junior accountant (I only know this cos we got his post one day by accident – I was so proud of him ) and I don’t know anything about the other one. Just found one of them on Facebook and the other one I probably wouldn’t recognise now.

Chris is playing Mario Sunshine on his Gamecube. What were Nintendo on? I always thought the SMS tracks on Mario Kart were a bit odd but the game they were based on…

I should get dressed really but I can’t be bothered.

Oh, hi to whoever is reading my blog through Facebook (although, tbh, it’s easier to just type in the address at the top instead of going to it through my profile). It’s good being able to see how people get to my blog and which links/pages/entries they look at. I can see everything, mwahahaha. Even what people type into Google when my blog comes up. I peaked at 48 views yesterday! The most since the 11th. Most of my views are from people on Twitter though. The Facebook viewer has only looked a couple of times.

So there was more 3D stuff on last night: “The Greatest 3D Moments Ever” which we recorded because the Impressions Show was on. We watched (well I watched) “Friday the 13th Part III” which was rubbish. Not scary at all. My dad said that he has seen all of them lol. There was some really obvious “you’re watching this in 3D” things, such as yo-yo’s coming at the screen, juggling balls, sticks, Jason’s arms. The Frankenstein movie was better with the 3D. Miley’s concert is on now in 3D and it does look pretty cool. Much better than the films. It looks semi-normal without the glasses too – the 3D blue/yellow stuff isn’t as obvious and there’s not as much ghosting. We’re gonna watch the shows on 4OD on the tv.

Abbiamo ormai capito che non esiste una diretta relazione tra i km di costa o di spiaggia disponibile in un paese e i risultati ottenuti dagli atleti di quella nazione nello sport più bello del mondo. Questa costatazione però lascia aperte tutta una serie di ipotesi che meriterebbero di essere approfondite.

Partiamo dai fatti e prendiamo in esame i maschietti. Fra i primi 100 posti del ranking mondiale sono presenti 4 coppie italiane.

Varnier-Nicolai festeggiano

La miglior coppia maschile nostrana si è classificata al 41° posto del ranking del world tour. Prima di Varnier-Nicolai ci sono 2 coppie tedesche (una campione del mondo), 6 coppie brasiliane, 3 coppie provenienti dagli States (ma quante potrebbero essere se non avessere un tour nazionale importantissimo e molto remunerativo), 3 coppie svizzere, 2 coppie per ognuna delle seguenti nazioni: Repubblica Ceca, Norvegia, Austria, Russia, Spagna, Olanda e Francia. Vediamo le ragazze: 2 sole coppie italiche fra le prime 100 e il miglior piazzamento è di Gioria-Momoli al 20° posto.

Prima delle nostre ragazze troviamo 5 coppie brasiliane, 3 coppie statunitensi, 2 coppie tedesche, 2 coppie austriache, oltre che coppie ceche, greche, olandesi, svizzere e belghe (ranking completo).

Sul fatto che si possa fare meglio non credo ci sia discussione. Da quest’analisi però emerge una situazione non completamente  sovrapponibile. Il movimento maschile mi sembra almeno ad alto livello più vivo. Analizzando anche la quantità dei nostri rappresenati, oltre le prime 100 posizioni, si nota una ricchezza che in campo femminile non sembra esserci. Al contrario, i risultati assoluti (e non solo quest’anno) sono a favore delle ragazze che sembrano rendere meglio nei momenti importanti, vedi mondiali e olimpiadi (dell’anno scorso) dove le coppie rosa sono andate anche oltre le aspettative della vigilia.

In più, oltre a queste differenze, dal mio punto di osservazione, certamente interessato ma comunque molto distante dalla federazione e dal movimento dei top players nazionali, vedo un approccio molto poco professionale (e di conseguenza professionistico) a questo sport. Manca un polo, un punto di riferimento nazionale a cui i migliori giocatori possono fare riferimento per allenamenti, strutture e pianificazione della stagione. Esite ancora molta sovrapposizione tra il beach e il mondo della pallavolo indoor (dove anche a medio livello girano più soldi) e in ultimo non vedo un pool di tecnici organizzati che sul territorio seguano e sostengano i talenti che (almeno per il calcolo delle probabilità) dovrebbero essere presenti in maggior quantità rispetto alla Svizzera o all’Olanda.

Servirebbe qualche investimento in più (ma neanche tanti) e un po’ di programmazione per trasformare un movimento, che anche nei migliori interpreti, nasce per sua natura, sciallone e improvvisato, in un gruppo d’elite che si diverte vicendo di più a livello internazionale. Insomma lasciate a noi le bibionate, gli spritz party e il look surfista. A voi le medaglie e (speriamo) i meritati guadagni.

La cartina tornasole dell’evoluzione del movimento è e sarà la qualità dell’organizzazione dei futuri campionati italiani anche quest’anno pesantemente  contestata in più di una tappa con argomenti che a torto o a ragione dovrebbero essere ampiamente consolidati in una manifestazione che è la massima espressione del beach nazionale:

I don’t actually have anything to write about tbh. I’m just bored. Watching a really old Hallowe’en Simpsons on T4. The Simpson’s were much weirder then! The older the episodes are, the weirder they are!

Soooo X-Factor tonight! I think it’s all a load of rubbish personally. I don’t think any of them are particularly good. Stacey is the only decent singer left so if I had to choose, she’d be who I wanted to win. I hate Danyl, I think he’s a rubbish singer and I think people are starting to see through it! He just yells. I wish that they’d give him (& the twins) a ballad that he wasn’t allowed to yell but SING. Ugh, he gets on my nerves. Jamie isn’t bad, I liked his version of “Hurt” but nothing since then. Olly was disappointing last night and I love Joe. I think he’s really good and definitely the best male vocalist out of them all! I’m not even gonna comment on Jedward. Who else is there? Is that it? Who am I forgetting? Oh, I forgot about Lloyd! Hahaha. Awww. He’s cute but he can’t sing, the poor thing. He’s got a singing voice, but it’s not big enough or good enough for this type of thing. I mean, for once, I agree with Louis (he’s so annoying and out of touch) and say that he’d be better in a boyband!!! I hope either Lloyd, Twins or Danyl bugger orf tonight but I don’t see it =(

I only really like Dannii and I think that Cheryl Cole is an idiot! Simon Cowell just makes me LOL (especially when I was looking at old Pop Idol videos last night – his hair! Lmao!)

Is this blog actually going anywhere??? I’m just rambling now. What was I going to say?

I was up late last night talking to Allan and Rose whilst waiting to see if anything was happening with Kayleigh (she didn’t text me so I assume it was just a warning sign). I must say, I have had less bizaare conversations! Lol! I like Lumpy’s friends. Probably because they’re not that much younger than me and they’re all pretty mature. I can’t wait until they’re all 18, I’ll take them out clubbing =P (as long as James Steward doesn’t swallow any straws??) I suppose it’s similar in the way that I’m close to Neville, Michael and Christian. I know that I grew up with them but there’s not much difference in age there either, is there? They’re only four years older than me and thinking about it, age gaps in friends aren’t really important. I mean, one of my bestest closest friends is Amanda and she’s 28! We’re on the same wavelength and we like the same things. She makes me laugh because she’s just so funny and I love being around her. She’s a good listener too and gives good advice.

It doesn’t matter where your friends live either, as long as they’re there. Take Nico and Raj for example. Nico lives in Denmark and Raj lives even further away in America! Both of them are my best friends and they’re always there for me and vice versa. Hopefully both of them are coming to see me next year and we’ll go out and drink and have fun. Taking Nico to Brighton for a night! That’ll be amazing.

Why is channel 4 going 3D? They’re so weird but I love them. Definitely my favourite channel. I call it the rebel channel and I asked my mum if they’ve always been the same and she said, “y-yeah, they’ve always been a bit weird.” haha!

Watched a new impressions show last night and it was hilarious! My favourite ones were Davina McCall, Michael McIntyre and Noel Edmonds. The Davina one almost had me in tears! It was so funny and spot on!

Clueless is on tonight! I love that film.

I found a page from a calender that I have carried around with me for about 10 years. I was stunned by this artist and I wondered why I had never seen his work before. His name is Nicolai Fechin, a Russian born artist that painted southwest subjects in the first half of the 20th century.

The work is stunning! I always felt that this is what I was working towards with my art.

O distinsă parlamentară, despre care crezusem că doar hormonii o fac să comită prostii de faţă cu paparazzi şi doar invidia să spună prostii de faţă cu microfoanele, mi-a confirmat că se află într-o lipsa de formă intelectuală mai severă ca lipsa de formă sportivă a lui Zicu, în ciuda unei mutre de elevă silitoare responsabilă cu umezitul buretelui şi belirea cretei.

Ce-o fi fost în capul dânsei când i-a venit ideea sinistră şi creaţă de a citi, de la tribuna Camerei Deputaţilor, un discurs fără sens, parcă scris de Hurmuz sau de Vanghelie, în care a înşiruit o beţie de citate din oameni politici şi jurnalişti americani, fără nicio legătura între ele? Aflu cu uimire că nu era nici în stare de ebrietate, nici în vreo stare de sevraj sexual, ci că a vrut să facă o… poantă.

Teribil! Ar fi trebuit să ne stricăm  de râs?

Mi-aduc aminte că şi fătuca aceea, nepoata care acum poate se joacă cu cartela de vot a lu’ Tanti Norica la Bruxelles, cea care, se zice, o înrudea când şi când pe matuş’-sa cu domnul Meleşcanu, a făcut tot o “poantă”… Bine că Elena Udrea sfida şi batjocorea parlamentul venind îmbrăcată în roz, dar nu-l batjocoreşte una care citeşte năzbâtii în plen, fie din inconştienţă, fie cu premeditare, în scopul declarat de a ridiculiza cea mai importantă instituţie a democraţiei, a cărei membră mai şi este.

Faptul că doamna deputat a făcut-o de oaie (sau de porc, pentru fanii lui Badea) este confirmat de discreţia cu care, totuşi, televiziunile au înţeles că trebuie trecut la alt subiect.

Nu ştiu, deci, ce resort a împins-o pe deputata Pufuleţ (sau Pufulete?) să facă ceea ce a făcut. Poate un dor de Băsescu, poate o frigiditate politică cauzată de impotenţa (tot politică) a concubinilor de partid, în frunte cu cea mai moale, a repetentului-preşedinte-candidat.

Ştiu, însă, ce a reuşit: trei “performanţe” pe cât de notabile, pe atât de negative şi de selfdestructive.

1. Prima “performanţă” este, aproximativ, cea asumată într-o declaraţie a “protagornistei” (dată chiar pe proprie răspundere):

«“Am vrut să le arăt colegilor că putem să spunem orice, lucruri alandala, ilogice sau, dimpotriva, lucruri perfect logice şi de substanţă, că oricum nu conteaza”, a declarat Săftoiu pentru cotidianul citat, precizând că a facut acest gest ca “revoltă” faţă de felul în care aleşii îşi asumă responsabilitatea pentru ceea ce ar trebui să fie activitatea parlamentară.»

Adică, da, deputata a reuşit, dacă mai era nevoie, să arate premonitor şi avant la lettre, aş zice astăzi, că avem un parlament penibil căruia i-ar sta mult mai bine într-o garsonieră, cu mult mai puţini fraieri în ea, decât în două camere suprapopulate.

2. A doua “performanţă”, involuntară, este aceea că şi-a (şi ne-a) demonstrat, singură, propria lipsă de autoritate şi de valoare în ochii celorlalţi deputaţi, manifestată prin dezinteresul faţă de stimata lor colegă. Această reprezentantă a unei comunităţi, care a votat-o având încredere în ea şi care a crezut că vocea ei se va face auzită (mai ales fiind vorba de Urlaţi) în sfatul ţării, atunci când îi va apăra interesele, se dovedeşte, de fapt, un fel de… pielea puilor lui Bendeac.

3. În sfârşit, a treia “performanţă”, sigur NEasumată nici aceasta, este cea obţinută când, pe neaşteptate, publicul spectator connoisseur a… aplaudat discursul, ba chiar o altă celebră personalitate, dotată cu o deşteptăciune blondă direct proporţională cu priza la popor a propriului partid, i-a mulţumit oratoarei din înalta sa postură de preşedintă de şedinţă. Poate aţi ghicit, e vorba despre vestita Daniela Popa (PC).

Este evident pentru oricine că  pe una ca Adriana Săftoiu n-o puteau aplauda deputaţii PD-L.

Aşadar este limpede că tâmpiţii care i-au aplaudat inepţiile nu puteau fi decât propriii colegi de partid (PNL), de comisie Vanghelie şi de alianţă parlamentară în formă continuată (PSD).

Poanta “poantei” e o… poantă: avem o Cameră a Deputaţilor în care căscaţii şi proştii sunt exclusiv PNL-iştii şi PSD-iştii. Q.E.D!

Ei, la aşa o turnură n-a dus-o capul pe inteligenta Adriana Săftoiu, care, în ultima vreme riscă tot mai des şi mai specatculos să-şi rupă bucşele dând în gropi. Mai ales ca şi garda la sol o are cam mică.

Dass der gute Herr Nicolai sich gründlich die sprichwörtlichen “Hörner” abgestoßen hat, ist unschwer zu erkennen. Sie müssen inzwischen sogar schon an ihren Spitzen verstärkt bis geschützt werden. Wobei die Frage gestattet ist, wer genau geschützt werden muss. Immerhin verdankt es der Zoo Hannover diesem Herrn (jahaa, der hier war das!) , dass er sich im nächsten Jahr auf fünf (jahaa, FÜNF!) Elefanten-Babies freuen kann.

Und als ich  gerade so vor mich hin fotografierte, um dieses Prachtexemplar tierischer Zeugungskraft im Bild festzuhalten, hatte ich plötzlich den Eindruck, als wolle Herr Nicolai Anlauf nehmen:

Dass dieses Foto nicht unscharf geworden ist (wegen der Wegrenngeschwindigkeit) wundert mich durchaus. Ich muss aber ganz ehrlich gestehen: Männern, die fünf Frauen parallel schwängern, traue ich nicht.
