Kara’s Nicole has revealed her ideal type while having dinner with her university sunbaes on her reality show, Nicole the Entertainer’s Introduction to Veterinary Science.

Nicole failed her midterms and decided that she needed some tutoring from her sunbaes at school. After the tutoring, she received a 100, 67, and 50 for three different subjects which amounted to a 60 average. That’s a pass for Nicole though she did came close to failing.

She was so thankful of her passing grade she invited her sunbaes to dinner. While at dinner they asked her what her ideal type was and she answered, “He should be taller than 178cm but shorter than 185cm. He should be manly and should care for the woman.”

On this episode, Nicole danced in front of many students as an “audition” to join the hip hop club.

SHINee’s Key was suspected by fans to be the lying man that caused the triangle relationship between Kara’s Goo Hara and Nicole but it seems like it’s not him.

2AM’s Jinwoon was the first suspect but he quickly denied it. Then fans turned and pointed their fingers at Key.

Key said with disbelief in an interview on SBS E!TV, “Everyone accused me after 2AM’s Jinwoon denied it. It is true that I’m close with Nicole but I do not even know Goo Hara. I, too, am not involved in this triangle relationship.”

During filming of the show, they even called Nicole and tried to figure out the details. I wonder who is the next target.

The evil is out, apparently. Scherzinger has allegedly gone an done it. The rumor has it that the split is imminent and everyone is waiting for the official announcement of Pussycat Dolls splitting or breaking up or kicking a bunch of people out. Nicole just can’t handle the fact that some of the dolls are better and more talented than her. Now, none of the other Dolls speak to her. Team Melody!

Last night,Dick Clark and ABC television hosted the annual American Music Awards, where all kind of crazy and cool happenings went on,and Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert still stood out.

I like it how every year some new act feels the need to shock and push the limits of the public morals to the breaking point, and this year the winner for that category is Adam Lambert.

Adam,the runner-up for last seasons American Idol competition,decided to out do Katy Perry who kissed a girl, or at least had a hit record about it, by kissing a guy on stage.

And, as if that was not enough to get his point across, he then grabbed a male dancer, and had him kiss,…or do something like that, to his crotch. Many guys have done this on stage before,except with women.

I think the best one was that awards show on Spike TV hosted by Jamie Foxx,when he grabbed Halle Berry’s nice behind and laid a good kiss on her…remember that.

…Oh yeah…as usual,like clockwork…Lady Gaga got down!…she is the most interesting performer out there currently, and whenever she performs…I simply can not take my eyes off of her,because of her performances.

She has way more concept than the rest of her fellow performers,and I can tell she is having a big influence on others stage shows. Good going Gaga….

Being in the Top 2 is not hard.  You have to undergo a photoshoot, a commercial and a stint in a fashion show!!!

The photoshoot was for Covergirl cosmetics was taken by Nigel Barker, the same day the commercial was shot.

For me, Nicole’s face is too strong for me in this picture.  I would pic a model who is more relaxed and softer looking than Nicole for Covergirl.

Laura

Since I want to her to win, I love her in this picture!  Hehehe!  But honestly, I like her to be the Covergirl model.  She’s so pretty!!!

In this Covergirl commercial, Nicole and Laura’s videos were combined to make one commercial.  At first, Laura got frustrated because she can’t deliver the lines and tends to forget it because of her anorexia.  But she overcome it and deliver a good commercial.  Nicole in the other hand, has the script memorized but needed more emotion and personality in delivering it.

Since I can’t find any video regarding the fashion show where Nicole and Laura participated for the finals together with Erin, Jennifer, Sundae and Brittany, I’ll just comment on their performance.

Nicole has an odd walk, which for me is not too strong for the catwalk. It’s not high-fashioned nor glamorous at all.  But she did improve in posing after the walk.  I was laughing during the walk with a cloth on their face, and Nicole was struggling removing it!  Hahaha!  With Laura, I can’t say anything but Fabulous!  She’s so good in the runway…just like a PRO!  Go Laura!

During the deliberation, there are a lot of good comments with Laura because of her personality and the way she registers in each photo.  So I thought, she’ll be the winner.  But I don’t know why they pick Nicole.

Though Laura didn’t win, I congratulate Nicole for being the First America’s Next Petite Model!

This weekend I was given the privilege of going to Gainesville, FL, the home of the University of Florida Gators, with my two great friends Alicia and Nicole. It was a pretty intense road trip. We left around 3pm (after getting Alicia’s flat tire patched) and got to Gainesville around 11:30. We made INCREDIBLE time and we weren’t even speeding that much. We got to where we were staying, put our stuff up, got ready and went out to a club called “X’s”. They played a lot of 80’s/90’s music which was fairly good except about 1/3 of it you couldn’t actually dance to. We were there til last call at 1:30am. The next morning we got up at 9:30 and headed out around 10. We had to make a couple stops but along the way they showed me around campus. Its a really nice campus. I think I would have liked going there. It pulls enough green with a city feel that it would keep me entertained. Also, the night life is much better than UNC. They have a really nice Union and dining area with a lot more good restaurants. We ate at Subway, bought shirts (yes, even I bought a shirt but I will not be wearing it in Texas or on the day of a Texas game) and then headed to the game. Florida stadium is pretty awesome. Its really pretty and quite large. They were playing FIU and of course the game was a slaughter but still fun to watch. We left immediately after the game. We got back around 2:30am on Sunday. The time spent in Gainesville was less than 24 hrs but it felt like more which is a good thing. I want to do trips like that more often.

I sipped delicious sangria and he drank outrageously expensive vodka as we sat together on a couch on the restaurant’s patio. I was telling him all about how a colleague of mine, who has a tendency towards cantankerousness, had been so frustrated with me the past month or so. The colleague had a routine of popping into my office as soon as I got there and asking me about the latest administrative bullshit . . . and enjoying the sparks as I revved into pissed-off, indignant Demi mode. But lately I’d disappointed him because every time he showed up for an entertaining bitch session, I was just . . . happy.

“Are you seeing a new fella?” Mr. Nico joked.

“Yep, I am,” I smiled.

“You must really like this guy if he makes you that happy.”

“Well, yeah . . . but he actually left me naked. In bed.”

“God, sounds like a total asshole.”

 Mr. Nico did actually leave me naked, in bed . . . twice. And both times it was because he had these commitments he’d made, commitments he kept because he’s that kind of loyal and dependable and honorable sort of person. As much as it annoyed me that I didn’t get to keep him in bed with me for another couple of delicious hours, I really respected the fact that he kept his word to the people who were counting on him. Which takes a lot of internal strength when you’re having to tear yourself away from a hot naked chick to follow through on your word.

Yes, I do admire that about him . . . but it doesn’t stop me from giving him shit about it at every opportunity.

Some food came out and the sun began to set. He lit a cigarette and I stole it from his hand a time or two. And then, we started talking about how we’d get to see each other again in no time at all. Thanksgiving week was upon us, so instead of waiting a week or two to see each other again, it would just be a few days. There was a little rush of excitement as we started mapping out the long weekend. He’d be back in my town on Wednesday. Yay! We’d have to do our respective family stuff on Thursday, but then there was Friday all for us.

“I’m driving back Saturday; I have to pick up Nicole from the airport.”

::Insert that awful sound of the music abruptly dying as the needle scratches across the record here.::

I was hugging him as he said it. “You have to pick Nicole up from the airport? That’s stupid,” I said, my arms still wrapped around him.

“I know!” he said as I pulled away from him.

“Tell her to take a cab.”

But he wasn’t going to tell her to take a cab. Even if he agreed with me that the whole thing was stupid, she’d asked, and he’d said “sure.” He’d keep his word . . . even if that meant cutting short a weekend with his current girlfriend to play chauffeur for his ex-girlfriend. Hmph.

Mr. Nico has always been that kind of good guy. He got married to a mutual friend of ours in his early twenties. She cheated on him before a year had passed and the marriage ended, and yet somehow they seem to be good friends after all that. A couple years ago Mr. Nico and I were hanging out, having drinks at a bar, and I asked him about it. How is it that you can still be friends, I asked. Why wouldn’t we be, he answered. That’s just who he is . . . doesn’t hold on to bitterness and grudges. He doesn’t understand my strong desire to put boundaries between myself and (some of) my exes . . . our first fight was actually about that, him not understanding me wanting to block A. from my life (but that’s another blog post!).

I want to try to understand his live-and-let-live openness, I do. I think there’s something beautiful about it. But . . . isn’t there a line somewhere?

I’m thinking that line should be drawn at driving two hours north to give your ex-girlfriend a fifteen minute drive home from the airport.

On Sunday afternoon in  a Fayetteville, North Carolina church, Manna Church, the world,family and friends said goodbye to Shaniya Davis. Shaniya had captured the heart of the world, after it was discovered that her own mother had sold her into bondage as a sex slave,to Mario McNeill, who brutally raped and murdered the little child.

More than 2000 people were inside the church to support Bradley Lockhart, Shaniyas dad, and the man who made the decision to send Shaniya back to her mother,after having raised the child for the full 5 years of her life,which directly led to her death.

“Don’t let God’s words and don’t let his actions get you down,” Lockhart told the packed congregation. “He did this for a reason.”

Shaniya Davis funeral was open to the public and was standing room only.Lockhart urged the 1,500 crowded into Manna Church and another 500 watching the service from an adjacent building to help the community’s needy, according to press reports.

As mourners filled the church, a photo display of Shaniya Davis was streamed on the overhead projector. Never before released photos of Shaniya were displayed. These photos showed Shaniya with her father, Bradley Lockhart and her siblings.

Lockhart said, “Shaniya, Daddy love you honey. And I know you’re gonna’ be waiting for me … I’ll see you when I get there.”

White doves were released at her graveside as the little child Shaniya was laid to her eternal resting place.

Happy birthday to me! My birthday party was yesterday, my actual birthday was November 18^th.  I had a party at my apartment with about 25 of my favorite people!  Quite a few people commented on the fact that I had made so much food…that I had to have been slaving in the kitchen for most of the day.  While it’s true I did spend a lot of time cooking I also have gotten really good at planning out when to cook what so that it all seems carefree and easy.  Here are some general things I did that might be helpful for your next event.

• Season poultry or meat the night before or in the morning. 1, to lock in flavor of course and 2, to be prepared to actually cook the food when you are ready.
• There are so many easy to make chicken recipes for the oven.  Cook on 350 and you don’t really even need to check it.  This frees up time to prepare other foods while it is cooking.
• Cook fish last.  Fish tastes best when really fresh.  Of course it can also leave a strong smell.  Open windows and light some matches and or candles and the smell will be gone in no time!

It had to happen evenutally. . . a winner of ANTM who actually deserved to win.  Did Ty-Ty slip up?  Was her talent so overwhelming that it would have been criminal to deny her?  (No, that’s happened a bunch of times). Maybe, in a cycle of non-models it was important to give the only one with potential a chance. (No, the winner always finishes last).

the 2009 mnet asian music awards just finished today with a couple of, if not surprising, expected winners from today’s events.

thanks to the solinren stream, i was able to watch this great event live and also saw other people’s reaction to the performances and award announcements FOR THREE FULL HOURS >_< . though my favorite kpop group, snsd did not win any of the awards, i am still very happy for my other fave female girl groups like 2ne1 winning the best music video award, newcomer award and song of the year, BEG winning the female group award, and KARA for the dance music award(OH FUCK YES…THE BUTT DANCE :~  .these girls totally deserved some recognition in the kpop industry. all my support goes to them.

special mention also for AKB48 for randomly appearing in the awards and winning the asian recommendation award, that totally unexpected and they did great as well.

i guess the performances were better than last year’s and i am surely can’t wait for the next asian music awards next year. congrats to other winners as well! ..and i hope this time SNSD will win something!! >< STOP THE BOYCOTTS LOL (btw g-dragon’s album is soo good it deserves the best album award.you guys should check that shit out!)
