Tras el último capítulo de “Cinco Hermanos” (Brothers & Sisters) Fox emitió anoche el primero de la sexta temporada de “Mujeres Desesperadas” (Desperate Housewives) que no pasará a la historia por ser el mejor, me reí con algunos comentarios, sobre todo con la señora McCluskey (qué grande es Kathryn Joosten), pero como que nos espera más y más de lo mismo. Y es que, aunque siga la serie desde el principio, lo cierto es que en la segunda temporada se estancó, con una entrega bastante mala de la que se supo reponer gracias a unos buenos capítulos en la tercera y sucesivas.

Así, ya se nos ha desvelado quién es la “nueva” señora Delfino. Aposté por Katherine (Dana Delany) pero no, vuelve a ser Susan (¿qué le ha pasado a Teri Hatcher en la cara?) mientras la primera parece sufrir un brote psicótico. Claro que, como ya no está Edie (Nicolette Sheridan), con alguien tendrá que discutir Susan y no será con su hija Julie (Andrea Bowen) que ha vuelto a Wisteria Lane aunque parece que por poco tiempo porque el capítulo acabó con el vecino estrangulándola.

¿Qué vecino? Pues el hijo de los nuevos (por altura no era el padre) que también deben guardar un oscuro secreto, como todos los que acaban viviendo en esa calle. Por eso es por lo que se repiten como el ajo. Encima han tenido la brillante idea de hacer que Lynnette (Felicity Huffman) se quede embarazada una vez más, pobre mujer ¿para qué quiere más hijos si los que tiene ni aparecen? Encima gemelos. Y Bree (Marcia Cross) sigue liada con el ex de Susan (Richard Burgi) y a Orson (Kyle McLachlan) le han reducido su papel a más no poder.

Me falta Gaby (Eva Longoria), ella y Carlos siguen felices tras haber vuelto a llevar una vida más o menos acomodada con sus hijas y la sobrina de él, que le ha declarado la guerra a Gabrielle que parece que sólo quiere protegerla. Veremos que se cuece

8. Gisele Bundchen was born July 20, 1980.  Her interest in modelling began at the age of 13.  She is now the highest paid model world wide and was entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the richest supermodel.  That is quite an accomplishment. 

9. Elisha Cuthbert was born in Calgary Alberta (a neighbouring province – yah) November 30, 1982 and started her television career in 1996 with Are You Afraid of the Dark.  Absolutely love her bikini.

11. Katherine Heigl was born November 24, 1978 and began her acting career in 1992.  At the age of 9, she was a child model and has since appeared in many different magazines.  Sensual and seductive – very nice.

16. Evangeline Lilly was born in Fort Saskatchewan Alberta (another Canadian) on August 3, 1979. She appeared on Television in 2002 and in the film industry in 2003 but became most popular with the series Lost in 2004.  She too could use a tan and a bikini style that would camouflage her boyish figure. 

17. Lindsay Lohan, born July 2, 1986, started as a child fashion model at the age of 3 and began making television appearances at the age of 10. She also decided to branch into the music industry and released her first album in 2004. 

18. Christina Milian was born September 26, 1981 also known as Christine Flores.  She made her public debut through commercials at the age of 9.  In 2002, her musical talents were revealed and in 1996 began making appearances in the film industry.  She is a hot looking lady. 

19. Sienna Miller, born December 28, 1981, rounded out her career with acting, modelling and fashion designing which began in 2001.

26. Charlize Theron, born August 7, 1975, made her way into modelling at the age of 16 which evolved into a career in acting in 1995.  She could use a bikini that gives her a little more volume on top to balance out her petite figure.

One new hot casting scoop, one returning star, and a new project from the creator of a recently cancelled series.

Greg Garcia

The creator of the recently cancelled My Name is Earl, Greg Garcia, is apparently developing a new pilot for Fox, it would deal with a guy in his mid-twenties who has to raise a baby he had thanks to a one-night-stand after the baby’s mother is put on death row. He also said it would be in the same sort of world Earl took place in, with the same sort of characters and that he would try to bring back some of the cast and crew for this one.

One Tree Hill

Danneel Harris will make her return to One Tree Hill on the second episode of next season, reprising her role as troublemaker Rachel Gatina for at least seven episodes. Harris was featured on season 3, became regular in season 4, and was written out in season 5 after the flash-forward. But now, the bitch is back.

Desperate Housewives

The single best casting news for the next television season so far has to do with Desperate Housewives, after all, now that Nicolette Sheridan’s Edie is gone Wisteria Lane definitely needs a new edgier housewife. And boy did they nail it with the casting, since they brought in none other than Emmy-award winning Drea de Matteo! This seriously cool news people, de Matteo was one of the coolest things in The Sopranos, and will bring back her Italian flavours as the matriarch from an Italian family. Can’t bloody wait.

So, hopefully, by now you’ve seen the Desperate Housewives Season Finale.  And what a great 2 hour episode it was.  Let’s get right to the synopsis:

First up, Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) found out that Bree (Marcia Cross) had been hiding the valuables that he thought were stolen from their house.  When he confronted Bree, Bree admitted to wanting a divorce.  However, Orson got the upperhand telling Bree that if she went along with the divorce, that he would have her arrested for insurance fraud.  Turns out, that when their house was supposedly robbed, Orson placed an insurance claim.  Now that he knows that Bree set the whole thing up, she can be arrested for fraud.  Bree doesn’t know what to do, so she turns to her lawyer, Karl (Richard Burgi).  Karl sends a thug (played by Port Charles star Jay Pickett) to threaten Orson.  However, Orson once again turns the tables and forces Bree to stay in their loveless marriage.  Bree again turns to Karl and this time in more ways than one.  She and Karl start an affair…YAY!

Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chaviro) and Gabby (Eva Longoria-Parker) receive a call from his dying aunt for a family picnic.  At the picnic, Carlos’ aunt reveals that she’s dying and needs someone to care for her granddaughter.  Despite Gabby’s objections, Carlos feels obligated to take the girl in.  When the girl arrives, it turns out she’s a teenager…an older teenager…with a penchant for hooking up with rich older men in order to get whatever she wants.

Lynette (Felicity Huffman) begins to fear that her cancer may be coming back and makes an appointment with the doctor.  Meanwhile, her husband, Tom (Doug Savant), enrolls in college to learn Mandarin and become more competitive in the job market.  Lynette goes to the doctor and learns that the cancer hasn’t come back….she’s actually pregnant with twins…for the second time!  What will she and Tom do?

Now onto the big story….the Dave (Neal McDonough) story.  Dave puts his diabolical plan into motion.  The plan is to kill Susan (Teri Hatcher) and Mike’s (James Denton) little son, MJ (Mason Vale Cotton).  Dave wants to take Susan and MJ on a fishing trip.  However, Susan is reluctant to go b/c of Jackson (Gale Harold) being held for deportation.  So, Susan cancels the trip.  This sends Dave home where he goes crazy and has visions of his dead doctor (whom he killed in the fire at the nightclub), his dead wife and daughter, and his most recently killed wife, Edie (Nicolette Sheridan).  In his vision, Edie urges Dave to kill MJ right away and forget all about the fishing trip.  So, Dave decides to take her advice and do just that.  Meanwhile, Susan head’s over to Mike and Katherine’s (Dana Delaney) house to as Mike if he is the one who called Immigration on Jackson.  However, Mike is in the shower.  So, Susan tells Katherine about this.  Katherine tells Susan that she NEVER told Mike about the fake marriage proposal between Susan and Jackson.  Susan can’t figure out who turned Jackson in.  But before she has time to really think about it, she learns that Mike and Katherine are now engaged and planning to get married right away in Las Vegas.  Obviously upset, Susan leaves Mike and Katherine’s and decides to go on the fishing trip with Dave.  Good thing she changed her mind when she did, b/c Dave was just about to kill MJ when Susan told him about the change of plans.

Meanwhile, Mrs. McClusky’s sister (Lily Tomlin) receives a call telling her that Dave’s doctor was killed.  So, she comes back to Wysteria Lane to share the news with Mrs. McClusky (Kathryn Joosten).  The two decide to break into Dave’s house where they find all of his precription pills.  The detectives find the two nosey ladies snooping around Dave’s house and bring them in for questioning.  Together, the detectives and the sisters put together all of the info they’ve gathered on Dave and realize that this guy had planned on killing Mike, Susan, and/or MJ all along.

Dave and Susan leave for their fishing trip, but just as they are leaving, Dave gives Mike a tape he recorded (with his confession to MJ’s murder) and tells Mike not to listen to it until after his and Katherine’s honeymoon.  Mike agrees and says his goodbyes.  However, Mike catches Dave making a sinister face and begins to worry about Susan and MJ.  Katherine gets jealous that Mike is always thinking about Susan.  However, Mike tells her that he loves her and not Susan.  The two head to the airport, and while waiting to board the plane, Katherine heads off to get her and Mike some coffee.  When she reaches for her wallet, she mistakenly turns on the video camera in her purse.  She walks away.  Mike hears the video and happens to pull it out of her purse.  Turns out to be the video confessional Dave made about killing MJ.  Mike tears out of the airport without getting to tell Katherine what was going on.  Katherine returns and thinks that Mike just didn’t want to marry her.  Mike calls Susan on her cell phone and tells her not to react to what he’s about to tell her so that Dave wont know what their talking about.  Mike tells Susan that Dave is the husband of the mother and daughter they killed in the car accident a few years back.  He also tells her that she and MJ are in a lot of trouble and need to get away from Dave.

Susan does a fairly good job at making it look like she knows nothing, and tries to get Dave to pull over at a gas station or restaurant to use the bathroom or get food.  He refuses.  So, she gives MJ a juicebox and shortly thereafter, MJ starts whining that he needs to go to the bathroom.  Dave will not pull over at a rest stop, so he pulls over by a cemetary to allow MJ to go to the bathroom in the woods.  Susan takes MJ into the woods to go to the bathroom, comes back, and hits Dave over the head with a brick, knocking him out.  She tries to take off with MJ, but realizes that the keys to the car are in Dave’s jacket.  She goes to get the keys, and Dave grabs her.  She runs and brings MJ with her, but trips and hurts her ankle.  She tells MJ to hide and not let Dave find him.  Dave successfully finds MJ and brings the two back to the car to continue on into the deep woods for the fishing trip.  However, Mike calls again.  This time Dave talks to Mike and comes up with a plan to have Mike kill MJ the way Susan and Mike killed his wife and daughter in the car accident.  He has Mike meet him at the intersection where the accident occured.  Dave ties Susan up to a street sign on the side of the road, and gets ready to pull out in front of Mike’s car the second Mike shows up.  Just as all of this is about to occur, Dave only sees his daughter when he looks at MJ and so he lets MJ out of the car, gets into the accident with Mike, and loses his mind after almost dying.  Mike, Susan, and MJ reunite and Mike and Susan share a VERY passionate kiss.

Fast forward 2 months…the whole gang from Wysteria Lane is attending a wedding.  Bree is with Orson, but making flirty faces with Karl, Gabby and Carlos are with their girls and niece, Tom is with Lynette who is running to the bathroom with morning sickness, and Mike is marrying someone.  But who?  Guess we’ll find out next season!

The episode was really good and the last 30 minutes were definite edge of your seat excitement.  I loved it!  What did you all think?

So, I mentioned Josh Henderson the other day when I did my blog about the hunks of Desperate Housewives.  Since then, I figured this guy deserved his own post.  Josh has been making the rounds in movies and TV.  I first took notice of him when he played Brett in the Channing Tatum flick “Step Up”.  Since then, Josh joined Desperate Housewives for 1 season playing Edie Britt’s (Nicolette Sheridan) nephew, Austin.  This season, Josh appeared on 3 episodes of the new 90210 as Sean.  His story on 90210 is still dangling, so I wouldn’t rule out a return from him.  I checked out his imdb profile, but it appears he isn’t working on any new projects at the moment.  Well, hope you enjoy!

OK, DH got back on track tonight after last week’s HORRIBLE episode.  Tonight’s was really good and helped move plot along.

First up, let’s talk about Bree (Marcia Cross) and Orson (Kyle MacLachlan).  I’m really not much of an Orson fan…I’ve kind of always found him annoying.  So, I was happy that after Bree’s conversation with Katherine (Dana Delaney) in the hospital, that Bree put two and two together and realized that Orson broke into their neighbor’s house.  I just wish she also realized that he was responsible for Edie’s (Nicolette Sheridan) death.  Adding to my dislike of Orson, is that he showed absolutely NO remorse for being responsible for Edie’s death.  I’m happy that Bree’s son, Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom), is egging her on to get a divorce.  (BTW: I think Andrew is SOOOO cute!)

Next up, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom (Doug Savant).  I’m happy that this is one married couple that the show hasn’t broken up.  However, tonight jealousy showed it’s ugly head in their relationship.  First when Tom thought that it was inappropriate for Lynette to be showering in Carlos’ (Ricardo Antonio Chaviro) shower at work and then when Carlos saved Lynette after she hit her head in her own shower causing him to see her naked.  Carlos is friends with both Tom and Lynette and is married to Gabby (Eva Longoria-Parker).  Later it was Lynette’s turn to get jealous when she found out from Gabby that Tom had been flirting with another neighbor.  Lynette and Tom made up at the end of the episode, but then Carlos told Lynette that she looked good naked at the VERY end of the episode.  I really hope that Lynette and Carlos don’t hook up.

Now let’s talk about Katherine (Dana Delaney).  This chick sure came off as desperate tonight, huh?  She tells Mike (James Denton)  that part of the reason she wanted him to move in was so that she felt she had more of a commitment from him.  And she followed that up by telling him they’d be together forever.  If I were Mike, I’d be running back into Susan’s (Teri Hatcher) arms screaming.

Which leads me to Susan.  Oh, poor Susan.  Always talks way too much.  So, Susan goes to console Dave (Neal McDonough) who is grieving for his recently deceased wife, Edie.  While consoling him, she ends up telling him that SHE was the one driving the car the night she and Mike had the accident, but they made it look like Mike was driving b/c they couldn’t find her license.  This accident caused the death of a woman and her child, but Susan doesn’t realize that it’s Dave’s wife and child that were killed.  The whole reason Dave moved him and Edie into town was b/c he wanted to get even with Mike for killing his wife and child.  Now Dave realizes it’s Susan who he should be going after.  James Denton, in an interview recently, said that by season’s end Dave will do something so horrible that there would be no other option than to kill him off.  So, I’m hoping that doesn’t mean that Dave is planning on killing Susan and Mike’s cute son.  However, I think it might be just that.  And with Katherine learning she’s preggers by season’s end, this will cause good story for Katherine/Mike/Susan for next season.

All in all, I thought this was a great episode, and I’m really excited to see what’s going to happen next in the Dave storyline.  What did you all think?

[image source] Well, I’ve gotta say it. I’m still reeling from shock that Nicolette Sheridan’s Edie got killed off on the Desperate Housewives Show. Wow!

Although I’m in shock, it seemed that 1.3 million Americans didn’t seem to care as much about Sheridan’s departure from the hit show. Contact Music reports that Sheridan’s departure episode, was 1.3 million below the average ratings for the series episode average. Which is very sweet, because no one, including me, wanted to see Edie go. She was the outsider who represented us all. Instead I watched the episode the next day when it was a little less shocking with a friend on Tivo, which does not count in ratings.

Possible spoiler alert!  If you haven’t seen the April 19th episode of Desperate Housewives yet, then do not read any further. 

So, if you DID see tonight’s Desperate Housewives, then you now know that Edie Britt (played by Nicolette Sheridan) met her maker tonight.  We all knew that this was coming from all of the recent tabloid reports, but I was thinking that maybe she’d still be around for a few more episodes.  The reason I say this, is that last time we had a new episode, we were given previews of Edie after the accident and in the hospital.  It looked like she would be in the hospital for a bit before they killed her off completely.  However, after seeing tonight’s episode, I guess they quickly rewrote Edie’s ending…and they did it HORRIBLY!!!

I’m sorry, but the writing in this episode just sucked.  First off, having another episode this season in which the women get together and reflect on moments made up just for the episode isn’t an original idea.  Just this very season, when the local handyman died, we had an eerily similar episode. 

The fact that NONE of the women even shed one tear was so sad.  Maybe they all fought with Edie at one point or another, but she was still their friend (as seen in all of their made up flashbacks).  Wouldn’t you cry if your friend had just passed away? 

Now on to some specific moments that sucked.  We’ll start with Gabby’s (Eva Longoria-Parker) flashback.  Gabby and Edie go out for a night on the town to meet guys.  They decide to compete over who could get more guys to buy them drinks.  In the end, Gabby came back with 17 stirrers…meaning she had 17 drinks.  Yet, Gabby wasn’t even slightly buzzed.  I know that after 4 mixed drinks I’m feeling really happy.  Gabby must have some tolerance!  The scene ends with Gabby and Edie deciding to go back to Gabby’s house to open a bottle of wine (because apparently that 1 bottle of wine will do the trick that 17 mixed drinks couldn’t). 

Next up, Karen McClusky’s flashback.  Karen (Kathryn Joosten) and Edie were BEST FRIENDS!  In fact, because Karen loved Edie so much, she felt it her responsibility to find out the truth about Edie’s husband!  Yet Mrs. McClusky doesn’t even shed 1 tear for her best friend who is now dead.  What??

Then, the powers that be felt it would be great to bring back Edie’s son.  Well, since the show went 5 years into the future at the beginning of this season, the last time we saw this kid, he was really a little kid.  So, now we have some actor we’ve NEVER seen come in to play this character for 1 episode.  Of course it didn’t tug our heart strings…we don’t even know who this kid is!  And of course this actor wasn’t going to deliver a powerful scene…he’s NEVER even been on the show before.  He doesn’t have any kind of rapport with the women of Wisteria Lane, and he’s still a kid, maybe 16 or 17 years old.  On top of it all, his own father couldn’t tell him that his mother died?  Of course not, the women of Wisteria Lane (who met this kid once when he was still a child) have to be the ones to break the news to the poor kid.  The scene just fell really flat.

That brings me to Katherine (played by Dana Delaney).  Why wasn’t she with all her friends to go meet up with Edie’s son to tell him his mother died?  Only 2 episodes ago Katherine was going to go camping with Edie, Edie’s husband, and Mike (James Denton).  But I guess she didn’t care about Edie’s death too much.  My friend Darren and I think that the producers are giving Katherine such crappy story in hopes that she’ll ask them to break her contract.  I mean Dana Delaney is a pretty well known name in primetime TV, and yet her character is just so boring on this show.  Send her off to Brothers and Sisters or Grey’s Anatomy.  She’ll probably get better story.

Finally, when I first heard that Edie was getting killed off the show, I thought “Well, it’ll be great when they bring her back to narrate an episode ala Mary Alice Young.  She’ll say such nasty things about all the women, and it’ll be hysterical”.  Well, Edie narrated this entire episode, and it just wasn’t Edie.  She was just too sweet.  Totally not her character in the least.

This is the very first episode of this show that I can honestly say I hated.  I’m a Nicolette Sheridan fan (since the days when she played Paige Mathison on Knots Landing), so I’m sad to see her go.  However, that’s not why I hated the episode.  It was just so poorly written, and such an improper send off to one of the original cast members, that I could hardly stomach it.

As for the future, I’m sure that the show will be fine.  Edie was rarely used throughout the years that she starred on the show, so her death shouldn’t affect the storylines much at all.  However, I do love Mrs. McClusky, and I hope that the writers will still find great story for her.  She’ll need a new sidekick…so maybe they’ll bring Lily Tomlin back as her sister and make her a recurring character (if Lily is so willing).

On a happier note…at least we’re getting a bunch of new episodes in a row.  I’m so sick of DH coming back for 2 or 3 episodes and then going off for a month and then coming back for a few more episodes before going off for another month.  Now we’ll get 5 or 6 new episodes every week leading up to the 2 hour season finale!  I do love me some 2 hour season finales!  And based on the previews, it does look like the rest of this season’s shows will be exciting.

Hopefully Desperate Housewives will get back to basics next season and become the show it was in the first season.  We need mysteries, cliffhangers, and more soapy moments. 

If this was Dallas, Dynasty, or Knots Landing, next season will begin with Susan (Terri Hatcher) opening her shower curtain to find Edie showering (and having some fun with her soap scrub).

The vote is still out, will Nicolette Sheridan fans bail her out? Nicolette claims her “Desperate Housewives” character faced more than a dangerous deranged husband: The actress says Marc Cherry, the show’s creator had it in for Edie Britt – her femme fatale character.

Sheridan told TV Guide that Edie must represent somebody that “Desperate Housewives” creator Marc Cherry didn’t like and he had trouble “distinguishing between fact and fiction.”
Last episode, Edie had crashed her car in a wild attempt to flee her homicidal husband. The ABC drama continues Sunday’s episode, with Edie mourned by her Wisteria Lane neighbors.

Cherry told TV Guide the show faced cut-backs to stay afloat. Sheridan’s departure is estimated to save up to $200,000 per episode. Cherry also said that Edie’s sexual escapades and storyline had run their course. Cutting a character is not a new concept in ensemble pieces like ‘Desperate Housewives”, which follow the genre of nighttime soap operas – “Dallas” back in the 80’s started the wave.

That’s the nature of show biz’. And a business it is. In the current job downsizing trend impacting millions of workers, job cuts have become a merciless act; the apparent weakest link has to be slashed. In the case of General Motors and the automobile industry, cutting the budget has not proven a salvation to keep the boat afloat. Hopefully the government bail-outs will prove to be more than a temporary band-aid to save the lagging industry and workers lively-hood.

As a former soap opera star on ABC’s “General Hospital”, playing outrageous Emma Lutz, daytime’s first comedienne I have seen 40,000,000 viewers watching during GH’s heyday. GH’s sponsorship (based on viewers) carried ABC’s deficit in nighttime programming. Not a wise time to cut many of the popular characters.

My departure from General Hospital wasn’t a storyline issue or my character’s diminishing appeal, I was pregnant and opted to be a stay-at-home mom, rather than nurse my baby on a set for 15 hours a day. A decision I have never regretted.

Back to Nicolette, she is gorgeous and on top of her game. Assuming her fan base is huge; the audience will demand that she return. In fact, she could start the buzz with a PR agent right now! Fans can step-up and save Edie -IT’S A RIOT OF LOYALTY- CLAIMING VIEWER POWER.

Both the “Seinfeld” and”Friends” cast held out for money (a similar premise) because their leaving would tank the show. The difference is Nicolette has to go out on a solo limb, without her cast member’s or ABC’s support.

Another show is probably in the wings negotiating for the beautiful talent as this blog is being written. Hmmm…as a filmmaker I may just be one of the contenders offering Nicolette a starring role in my next flick…an outrageous comedy, of course.

I’ve made my biggest movie deals over lunch at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. As we formally say in Hollywood, “Come on Nicolette, let’s do lunch.”

Bueno, eso es lo que dice su esposo, William H. Macy. Según esto, el actor no entiende por qué a su esposa nadie la pela para hacerle entrevistas o sesiones de fotos, si ella es la más bonita. William dijo: “Las otras son mujeres hermosas que parecen modelos, Felicity no es de ese tipo. Pero creo que ella es la más sexy del show. ¿Qué es sexy? Es difícil describirlo. La manera en que se conduce. Además se mantiene en excelente forma. Ella tiene el tipo de cuerpo que hace que me derrita. Es delgada, fuerte, flexible y capaz. Me encanta”.

Uhmm…Felicity no está mal para su edad, pero definitivamente no es la más sexy, ese título es para Juanita Solís!…no, ya hablando en serio, desde mi punto de vista, el título de la más sexy estaría entre Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross y Nicolette Sheridan. Teri Hatcher no porque poco a poco se está convirtiendo en E.T.

A few days ago the final poster for J. J. Abrams Star Trek revamp made an appearance on Myspace.

Opening in conventional and IMAX theaters on May 8 the highly anticipated film stars John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana and Leonard Nimoy.

Edie is dead, but back on Desperate Housewives:

Edie might be dead, but that doesn’t mean we have seen the last of her. According to Ausiello she will be back:

“Nah, they really killed the ol’ broad this time. But Edie returns in a big way in the April 19 episode via newly-created flashbacks with each of the main housewives. It’ll be just like the 100th episode, only swap out Beau Bridges and insert Nicollette Sheridan.”

Elizabeth Mitchell not lost for Lost:

Putting rumors to rest about Elizabeth Mitchell departing hit series Lost, Ausiello wrote the following in one of his columns this week:

“I address the murky Mitchell situation in this week’s EW (on sale Friday), but this much I can tell you now: Juliet will definitely appear on Lost next season.”

Ugly Betty will be back sooner than expected:

The conclusion of Ugly Betty’s third season will happen sooner than previously expected. Ausiello writes:

“First, the good news: Ugly Betty’s final four season 3 episodes will not be burned off this summer, as some feared. ABC announced last week that Betty would return from its unexpected spring hiatus on May 7. Now, the bad news: Daniel is going to have to sell his soul to bail out Meade. And by sell I mean dress up in a bunny costume at the behest of some rich tycoon named Hartley. Oh, how the boring mighty have fallen.”

Major character might die on Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles:

Big things seem to be planned for the second season finale of Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Here is to hoping there will be a third one to continue/conclude the storyline(s). From Ausiello:

“I’m hearing rumblings that a major male character will be killed in the season (series?) finale. Also, one of the women in John’s life will leave him. Another will betray him.”

Angelic and Demonic posters for Angels & Demons:

The religious and conspiracy fever will grip the world May 15. To tide us over – other than reading the best-selling novel by Dan Brown the film is based on – we have two new posters to marvel at.

Directed by Ron Howard, the suspense thriller stars Tom Hanks, Ewan McGregor, Ayelet Zurer, Stellan Skarsgard, Pierfrancesco Favino, Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Armin Mueller-Stahl.

Era già stato annunciato da tempo l’abbandono del set di Desperate Housewives da parte di Nicolette Sheridan, ma l’uscita di scena dell’attrice – non del personaggio interpretato nel telefilm – è stata veramente a effetto. Secondo l’Enquirer la Sheridan si sarebbe indispettita del fatto che nell’ultimo giorno di lavorazione nessuno le abbia organizzato una festa per salutarla. Per questa ragione, dopo l’ultimo ciak, l’attrice sarebbe ritornata sul set per portarsi via tutto ciò che ricordava la sua presenza in Desperate Housewives. Insomma, Nicolette si è trasformata in un vero e proprio uragano ed ha, in un certo senso, festeggiato a modo suo. Chissà se la rimpiangeranno.
