As for my writing currently, I am putting my time into a new story. A mystery to be precise, woooo. I have to get it to 5,000 words, so I have quite a ways to go before I can start work on chapter 2. X/

-After a long day, I lie down on my pillow to sleep. My first thought? “Ew, this pillow stinks!”

-DOES THERE HAVE TO BE A REASON WHY I’M DANCING?!

-I broke my toilet today, something to do with squirrels, plastic eggs, and Cool Whip.

Get your TiVos ready for a new show on the BET channel : The Michael Vick Project. This intervention program-sounding title names a new documentary by the one-and-only  animal abuser, who happens to also be the Philly Eagles’ QB. The infamous dog fighter says that

“I just want people to really get to know me as an individual.”

Dude, we know you already. You like to have dogs fight each other. And bet on them. I guess he’s trying to let us see more of his “goody-two-shoes” life to compensate for his lost cred. Or, based on the name, he’s actually put in an intervention program with other people to try and convert himself into a “good” person. In that case, there should be a new video about this by nigahiga soon.

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ blog, The PETA Files (anyone smell innuendo around here?), says that,

“People who abuse animals…shouldn’t be given the right of being a role model.”

BET, of course, disgrees, saying that,

“It’s important for us to capture this moment to see what someone does when they have the opportunity to rebuild themselves. It may serve as a road map for young men facing the same challenge.”

Hmm…So they’re saying that teens that are their school’s QB should follow Michael Vick’s “road map” and dog fight, then get caught, then make a documentary? In that case, parents and kids shouldn’t stay up to watch this. Not that anyone would.

You know, I was tempted to call this blog “Megan Fox Sex Tape” or something like that. Call it a social experiment. Instead, I called it something far more *ahem* subtle.

Oh, funnily enough, at the moment, the blog seems to be a hub of activity for people googling “farmville” or “spongebob squarepants” – something I find very amusing. Spongebob fo life!

It’s funny how the internet works – how the nuances of fame are obvious even online. Look at Youtube. Esmee Denters and Justin Bieber (both of who really aren’t great) have been signed to record companies. Sandi Thom had a similar experience. One of the most read blogs online belongs to a Thai woman who is trying to kiss a different man everyday. Can anyone say herpes magnet! If anyone wants to be really freaked out, google “herpes” with safe settings turned off.

Back to Youtube, and we have the whole Fred vs Nigahiga debacle.

What’s the point of this? Ah yes. Internet fame. Would it ever work for books? I don’t mean the internet helping books to go viral, but will it ever happen that publishers will no longer be needed and that e-books will be all the rage? I’ve never read an e-book, except maybe the first couple of pages of that leaked Twilight book told from Edward’s point of view. It was as bad as I expected, although I do detest Twilight. It’s got some wonderful ingredients – thesaurus rape, Mary Sues, a control freak…

 Every sadomachasist’s fantasy.

Anyways, back to my rather non-existent point. The popularity of E-books. Would you consider having your novel published in this format? I sure as hell wouldn’t. To me it’s like self-publishing – doomed for failure and not a “real” book. But the question is, can these e-books achieve fame? I used to write fanfic. I had 1000 reviews for one story, and over 100,000 hits. Over all, I think I had 400,000 hits.If fanfic can become that popular, why can’t e-books? Maybe people should start releasing audio books through Youtube, or posting their stories on their blogs. Jazz it up with a spiffy title sure to draw people in, e.g. “Lady Gaga is a man”, “Imma let you finish” or “Megan Fox Sex Tape” and see what happens.

This next photo has gained huge notoriety recently. If you’re easily offended, LOOK AWAY!

Case to point about how ripping on a celeb can make you famous. (Perez Hilton!) So why not apply the same principle to e-books? Ride the wave of a recent fad and see what happens. I’m almost tempted to start writing something online under some sort of clever guise. But sadly, I’m too honest for this shizzle.

I’m also running out of things to say. Oh, hey, I started writing my new play today. The thing is pouring out of me! First 40 minutes are written already. The question remains as to whether they’re any good or not! I’m really enjoying writing it. Thank the muses for that. Pity I have to go to college tomorrow. Ew. College is a very underwhelming experience so far. I really need to start going out more or something.

I wish I could have something a bit more intelligible to blog about. Instead ya’ll will have to settle for dopey rants. Oh, and if there’s anyone who’s not a LitDen member reading this, COMMENT! If you don’t, a kitten will die. Oh yes, I went there. Gotta love the Cliché kitten - and yes, Cliché kitten is a technical word!

EDIT: A PET bear mauled its owner to death today. I thought that was unbearably ironic… ha ha ha.

McMad woke me up at 5am with some uber snoring yesterday! Poor guy was up late the night before helping me quest and push me to level 24 so I guess I can’t complain too much haha!  I just couldn’t bring myself to elbowing him in the ribs or smothering him with a pillow so I could fall back asleep as tempting as it was I just couldn’t do it! <3  Not to mention our 3 yr old decided it was time for breakfast so I called it quits and headed for the kitchen. Beings it was Friday I figured I better prepare for a long night of grouping/questing as well so I fired up the computer amidst my morning routine.

Recently I’ve noticed that the NPC’s in Aion just aren’t rendering as fast when I zone into zones. I see the names but it takes a while for them to pop up (15-30 seconds). Now I am aware of the memory leak on the Aion side but I figure running some maintenance on my end couldn’t hurt things. SoooOoo I ran a defrag, disk cleanup, windows update, updated some drivers bla bla, things seem a little better. Nothing real significant, I even went as far as turning some graphics down which did seem to help a tiny bit. It just seems to “drag” a little, its hard to explain and it only really does it out in the desert (Theo is the worst) !! I am maxed on ram and I have fairly nice rig and ran eq2 and other MMO’s with ease, so I’m fairly confident that most of this lies on Aion!!

I found a bug last night while we were grouped and my dumbass sorta, kinda, already, sorta, kinda, already knew about it, ok I admit it I.R. DOOMASS.  I glanced at the thread on the forums but was in a stigma mind set and skipped the thread.  Remind me next time I see a thread labeled….“I SWEAR I JUST HEALED YOU”……..to fucking read it!!!  I was so damn aggravated about this bug, nothing is worse than having your tank hit 30% health and your heals aren’t doing jack chit. Thankfully McMad was tanking and was well aware of what was going on so I could tell him when to hit a heal pot etc. The only thing that seemed to work was the “F” keys or target through the group window! Toggle target action key was the fail as was targeting him directly /le’sigh! It didn’t do it all the time either, there seemed to be delays in the toggle action key which made adding dps between heals nearly impossible in quick fights. At least for me, I’m a clicker and was a bit slow behind the keyboard last night as I was in zombie mode *snore*.

On the upside of things Mcmad and Priya pushed me through to 25! WOOT! I have no idea why but I ran out of quests midway through 24 /boggle. I even did my lvl 29 campaign and all I had left were Spy quests in Eltnen everything else was repeats (ewwww) Hi HO, Hi HO off to grind we go! I don’t mind grinding, brings me back to old school EQ1 days where we set up camp go make ourselves some drinks, get in vent, make fun of each other and just have a good time. Thats just what we did last night too! It was nice even though it was just Priya, McMad and I we had a good time! We set up camp out in the desert , way way out there! I was kinda excited about that too, I thought for sure we’d come across a few Asmodians every now and then that we could toy with but no such luck it was a rather quiet night surprisingly !!! 250 mobs later I hit 25 Thx guys! /hugs Abyss here I come!

Legion recruiting spam (to each their own) our legion does not recruit publicly but many legions do and I personally don’t object to that but when you spam it in channel every chance you get it gets old real quick! Once an hour is cool I think, once every minute, not cool! And give your message kick, make it funny or something. The typical we have vent, are friendly and helpful is lame and boring and rather average to say the least. Please reference this recruiting MASTER!

Later in the night we got a message that the Elyos Legion, “Last Resort”  had taken over  Siel’s Western Fortress in the Abyss! GO ELYOS! It gave all Elyos a buff as well that increased our physical defense by 30  (?) for a certain time (30min) can’t quite recall exactly.  Grats Last Resort!!

The new announcements letting people know whom is getting banned for spamming! Hey, at least now we know they are doing something about it!!

I think locs for quests is good spam and locs for asmos = good spam
