The ferrets escaped from their hutch and Nigel Cheesemean and Bex Robinson thought that they had deserted them forever like a lot of Lib Dem voters have deserted the Lib Dems forever.

The ferrets were gone for more than 48 hours but they have both been found and reunited with their owners.

Ferrets are renowned for escaping as Lib Dems are renowned for flip flopping about rather than keeping to any policies.
