Last spring, I did a series of soaps based on the Night Circus novel. The book is a little light on plot, but sensuously heavy on description of the circus itself- the sights, the sounds, and most especially, the scents in the air and the tastes of all the wonderful food and drinks one enjoys only at fairs and carnivals. 230 more words
