Mmmm, I can see some people might have gotten a different view point on the last blog, but thats ok with me. You have to know that when I say by lying I mean joking a lot. I usually always tell them that I’m joking all the time and while that makes my words untrustworthy, it doesn’t really say that I might be untrustworthy. Get it? See, if a guy just told a bunch of lies and a bunch of truths you could never figure out, it would be a 50-50 type of deal trying to guess what was a truth or lie. So you would obviously not trust what he’s saying a lot. But if your perception changes that you think he tells truths 80% of the time and the lie 20%, but it’s still 50-50, then your perception will always be 80% whenever you see him. Also, if this guy told lies all the time, he still could be a huge secret keeper.

I think I overdid it too much on the last post so I’m sorry for that, but I really don’t lie that much, I just make little comments sometimes that throw people off. They get the right direction though sooner or later.

Heroes is my favority TV show of all time right now seeing that it really is the only one I watch. It’s on at 9 pm every Monday and sometimes takes some breaks. In the beginning, it sparked me by the superpowers of the people who had them, but now I like how it weaves it into a drama of sorts.

Heroes, I think, is getting a good start for its third season. After a great first season besides the ending, the second season started and ended badly. Sure the first episode on the second season drawed a lot of questions, but the I’m pretty sure the strike made the writers answer the questions quite fast. Villians I hope is going to do better then that. With the season starting out by answering the very question everyone had wondered, it got the episode to an exciting start. The action in the third volume is pretty intense for the first four episodes so far. With Peter turning out to be the one who killed Nathan, and then Mr. Linderman stil alive, it has very big suprises. One thing I do not like about Heroes though that it is still revolving around this constant theme of saving the world. True that people around the world are coming together, but I feel like the problems that are going to destroy the world are getting cheesier.

In the first season, it was all about Peter blowing up, and he did, but he avoided killing everyone in New York. Second season, it was about the Shanti virus getting out and killing over 90% of the Earth, and yet, that was avoided by Peter’s bare reaction using telecknesis. Now, in the third season, tons of people are going to have abilities and destroy the earth in some way still not described. In each of these seasons, I feel like it’s just copying each other. The future which Hiro went in the first episode in the first season had New York exploding in front of his face which was pretty cool. But then, in the first episode of the third season, Hiro goes to the future again and this time in Tokyo, everything explodes the exact same way. It’s copying each other! Come on writers, think of something different!

Another criticism of Heroes is that the production seems to not be willing to let go of characters. Nathan dies, he comes back to life. The actor Niki is supposed to be gone, but then she comes back in some form. Adam Monroe is stuck in a coffin, but eventually gets dragged back in anyway. Everyone seems to still be in the cast, and if they keep on adding people, it’ll be huge! Sure, it is pretty great that Sylar can kill off the actors sometimes, but its not proportional to the amount that Tim Kring is adding.

Anyways, I’m going to check out Heroes tonight to see what happens. Even though Heroes plot line is going down, it’s still to hooking to watch and see what happens. You can never miss an episode because then the next one will never make sense.

3.01 One Of Us, One Of Them

Hiro and Ando are still in search for the formula.  Noah and Sylar team up to take on the escaped prisoners who have taken over a bank.

This episode was really good, so many wonderful moments in it and some interesting developments.  The main highlights of the episode were Hiro/Ando and Noah/Sylar.  So many funny moments between these two pairings.  Firstly Hiro and Ando went on search for Speedster Daphne to get back the forumula she stole of them.  There they encounter the Haitian, who is acquiring the second half of the formula.  They manage to steal the formula of him but not before Daphne comes and steals it from them.  For me Hiro and Ando are the best things on Heroes, they really should be given more screentime, it’s such a huge mistake on the writers not to give them more to do.

At the end of last weeks episode we found out that Sylar could be Angela Petrelli’s son, well it seems that he is which I’m not too sure what to make of.  Anyway she pairs her son up with Noah to hunt down the Level 5 escapee’s and bring them back.  Hilarity ensures for a short time as Noah and Sylar star in their own buddy cop film, with Sylar berating an officer and demanding decaf.  Sadly it seems that this partnership might not last as Sylar’s hunger got the better of him.  Though I’m glad that he did kill because you can’t just quit cold turkey instantaneously.

Tracy Strauss goes to New Orleans to search for Niki Sanders but finds that she has died.  She meets Micah and learns of his ability which he uses to find out that Tracy and Niki were born in the same hospital and on the same day, twins?  Sort of, because he tracks down the doctor who delivered her and apparently Tracy was created by him.  Though will the formula have been used to create Tracy and the rest of them?  How many of them are there out there?

Meanwhile Matt is on his spirit walk in Africa and finds out the guy he’s with paints the future like Issac once did.  Though now Matt’s future has changed and by the looks of it, not for the better.  The other story going on in this episode was Claire wanting to learn to fight.  So her real mother taught her some life lessons.  Claire was quite annoying within this episode and it’s obvious the path she’s going to lead down.  But an episode where Hayden sweats and looks extremely hot cannot bother me at all.

I’m really liking where this season is going.  These past three episodes have been a great start and much better than season 2.  I still have hope and I enjoy the show for the entertainment purposes it provides.  It’s not always the most well written show and last week’s episodes showed that but as long as they tighten up the story and get the time travelling aspects right then we could all be in for a treat.

well, there’s a number of things to say… first of all, sorry for not posting in a while. i lacked subjects type/rant about and i’ve been busy with hw and other things as well. yesterday night’s heroes was AWESOME!!!!

spoilers of 9/22/08 episodes, if you wish to not know, skip the next paragraphs:

anyways, last season, nathan was shot and we didn’t know who. but in fact, it was his own brother, peter! peter from the future of course because the real peter was next to him when he was it. he came back from the future to undo what was done wrong in the future he came from. by altering events of the past, he completely screwed up what was supposed to be a future there. we discover angela petrelli’s power, to dream of the future and also view into other people’s futures. future peter locks peter of that time period into a level 5 cell in the company in the mind of a man named jesse, a seemingly very dangerous person. he sends matt parkman into a desert to wander after discovering that peter is future peter. nathan survives the gunshot from claire’s last giving of her blood and regenerative properties. he goes dilusional wtih linderman in his head talking to him, and speaking that God saved him and gave him another chance.
hiro loses the half of the formula that is going to end the world to the fastest girl on earth, Daphne Millbrook but stop/slows down time to hold her 12th grade 100-meter dash gold medal hostage and offered a trade. ando became the middle man and became held as leverage between hiro and daphne with a knife to his neck. he peers into the future where he doesn’t look for the paper his father left him, and finds that he and ando duel over that very paper, with ando killing him with a power that was a red fireball-like projection.
niki was believed to be dead, since the building where monika was held exploded. my theory is that a third personality imerged as tracy strauss. tracy, we find out has the ability of cryokinesis. i’m assuming she immerged during the fire, and saved the body of niki but tracy took over jessica (evil superstrength version of niki), and niki herself.
sylar, shows up at claire’s house and proceed to take her power of spontaneous regeneration. he cuts open her head after a stupid game of cat and mouse then proceeds to pick at her brain for the power. the funny/comical part of this scene is dat claire goes “aren’t you going to eat my brain?” sylar: “claire, dats disgusting.” we now know that he only needs to tap into the brain to obtain the power. so he is now immortal, with the possible exception of a fatal attack to the head. later, meredith, claire’s mom returns to protect her.
mohinder, using maya discovered the basis of the powers. in the adernal glands. powers only activate when tapped into the adrenal glands. “fight or flight” system of our bodies. take maya for example. her power only kicked in when she was mad or really sad. mohinder created a solution in which can give powers. he injected himself and gave himself superior strength and reflexes, but also gave him scaly skin like a lizard.
at the company, sylar breaks in and causes great chaos on level 5. he knocked out noah bennet, murders bob bishop and takes his power of alchemy, and proceeded to take elle’s powers except when she threw an electrical fit which knocked out the power grid of the company. all the level 5 inmates escape but sylar is still unconcious. elle wakes up to angela petrelli, who is now head of the company.
the escaped inmates are benjiman “knox” washington, jesse murphy (who’s mindset is currently peter), noah bennet, and flint who are proposed a deal by angela to work for her.

in a nutshell, that was last night’s heroes hehe. dad’s having a cold war with me -.-” sophomore hw is getting more and more annoying. and i should be doing hw right now XD. and SEEKERS TMRW! 3E19!, there will be FREE FOOD! in addition, i’ve hit over 1000 views! -points to blog stats-

Começa nesta segunda-feira a terceira temporada de Heroes. Gosto da série, acho muito interessante, mas não acredito que seja a melhor de todas. Mesmo assim, para quem ainda não conhece fiz um texto a respeito do seriado que segue abaixo. Para os que já gostam, é esperar… Também estou na expectativa!

Criado pelo autor de Crossing Jordan, Tim Kring, o seriado Heroes iniciou nos Estados Unidos como um grande fenômeno de audiência em sua emissora, a NBC. Bem ao estilo das histórias de super-heróis em quadrinhos, a trama começa com um eclipse total que muda a vida de diversas pessoas em vários cantos do mundo. Após o evento natural, o professor e cientista Mohinder Suresh, conduzido pelo desaparecimento misterioso do próprio pai, Chandra Suresh, começa a seguir a linha de pesquisa do pai e chega à mesma conclusão: a raça humana começou a evoluir com o surgimento espontâneo de habilidades especiais.

Paralelamente a descoberta do cientista, algumas pessoas em diversas partes do mundo começam a sentir o que é essa evolução. O político Nathan Petrelli tem o dom de voar, enquanto o seu irmão Peter Petrelli acredita que é capaz de fazer algo especial, mas não tem certeza de seus poderes. A jovem líder de torcida Claire Bennet é indestrutível graças ao seu poder de regeneração. Já o japonês Hiro Nakamura tem a capacidade de manipular o tempo e o espaço, enquanto o artista plástico Isaac Mendez consegue pintar o futuro. Os personagens com dons especiais não param por aí. O policial Matt Parkman tem o dom de escutar pensamentos, enquanto a sexy Niki Sanders consegue materializar sua própria imagem quando refletida no espelho. Aos poucos outros super-humanos vão aparecendo na trama, seja utilizando a força para o bem, seja para o mal.

É aí que surge o grande enigma de Heroes e o eterno combate entre bem e mal. Os combatentes do bem lutam para salvar o planeta contra a destruição total e o domínio da força maligna.

Oke, postingan gak penting ini mungkin udah basi karena serial Heroes udah lama banget munculnya. Sebagian orang bahkan mungkin sudah menyadarinya. Tapi saya tetep nekat aja posting. Itung2 mengasah lagi kemampuan menulis dan – yg lebih penting – berpikir setelah sekian bulan luntur akibat terlalu lama menjadi budak karma di plurk.

Dari pertama kali saya nonton serial Heroes, kemunculan tokoh Niki Sanders seakan2 memangkitkan gairah perasaan de javu saya karena wajahnya familiar sekali. Sampai akhirnya ada suatu episode dimana Niki Sanders – yang saat itu dalam posisi diancam – dipaksa untuk merayu Nathan Petrelli. Yang akhirnya bikin saya sadar, adegan itu menggunakan background musik lagunya Diana Krall (saya lupa yang mana). Mungkin alasan kemiripan keduanya juga yg bikin lagu itu dipakai di scene ini. Mungkin, lho.

Kemunculan Niki Sanders pada episode2 selanjutnya makin menguatkan pendapat saya bahwa dia mirip banget sama penyanyi jazz/pianis asal Kanada yang awal Oktober besok mau manggung di Jakarta itu.

Tapi sepertinya belum banyak orang iseng yang menyadarinya. Karena kalau iya, pasti mereka akan berakhir di sini, tempat orang2 dengan isengnya nyocok2in foto seleb dengan apapun (note: itu beneran apapun, bukan siapapun), seperti halnya yang dikatakan pengelola web itu.
