Anda dapat memilih cairan pembersih berbahan dasar air (water-based).

Lalu bagaimana cara melakukan proses pembersihannya nih? Mudah saja.

- Kain halus

- Metal Polish (cairan pembersih waterbase.)

Langkah Pengerjaan

I stumbled upon Nagi Noda with the posting of several of her fascinatingly bizarre animal hair styles:

Doing an image search on google will certainly bring up more of these. It turns out, however, that Noda embraced multiple mediums – creating art in the form of music videos, film, fashion, and more. She sadly died last year at the young age of 35 due to complications in surgery to address pain issues she was having from a previous car accident.

Noda is pictured below:

These are two of the more amusing videos she made unique:

This one is a coke add with Jack White singing the add (hmmm):

To truly understand what it means to me to know that PRIDE has been around for eleven years, we have

To truly understand what it means to me to know that PRIDE has been around for eleven years, we have to go back more than eleven years. In fact, we have to go back about fourteen years…

It was during my second year of college that I applied and became an Aggie Ambassador at Cameron University. The Aggie Ambassadors were, and still are, a group of students who organized and presented the orientations for the incoming freshman. As part of our training, we took part in a conference organized by the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA). At the first conference that I attended, there were students who were including sexual orientation in their college’s freshman orientation. It was great to be able to spend some time with students who were out and proud on their campuses, but at the time I knew that wasn’t something that I could do.

It was during the second year of being an Aggie Ambassador, and attending the next year’s NODA conference, that I began to question why we didn’t have sexual orientation as part of our freshman orientation. Most, if not all, of the other Aggie Ambassadors knew that I was gay. But, at the time, I hadn’t come out to my mom (my dad had already passed away, but that’s an entirely different blog post). When I asked if we could add sexual orientation to our freshman orientation, I was told that we couldn’t add it – after all, we didn’t even have a student organization for GLBT students.

As luck would have it, during that summer’s orientation sessions, I was placed in the room where student activities gave their talk to the incoming freshmen. So, over the summer, I heard the same talk twenty-eight times – four times an orientation for seven orientations. I could have given the spill in my sleep by the time the summer was over. One of the things that the student activities director told the students was, “we have over 100 student organizations on campus, but if you don’t find one where you fit in, all you need in seven friends and a faculty advisor and you can start your own.”

During the next fall semester, I was elected as vice-president of the organization that I was highly active in… the Baptist Student Union. At this time, I was also employed by one of the Baptist churches in town, as their pianist. I was living a double-life and it was working out pretty well for me. This is, until the spring semester when things started falling apart.

I confided in someone that I thought was a good friend, that I was gay. He, in turn, went to the director of the BSU and told him. The director called me into his office and dropped the bombshell that he had heard a rumor that I was gay. In those few minutes, I decided that it was time to come clean. I told him that it wasn’t just a rumor. During the next week my life, as I knew it, crumbled. I was removed from the officers of the BSU, the director called the pastor of the church that I worked for, and the next Sunday I went in to find that I didn’t have a job, and when I went back to the BSU I found that I wasn’t welcome. I decided then that I was going to create a new student organization, where anyone and everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation, would be welcome. But, there was still the daunting task of tell my mom that I was gay.

On Saturday, June 21st, 1997, while my mom was cooking dinner, I went into the laundry room, leaned against the door to the garage, slid down to the floor and started crying. When my mom asked me why, I told her that was gay. She reminded me about how she felt about the “gay lifestyle” and told me that she still loved me. There’s obviously more to it than that, but without the permission of other parties involved, that is all that I can really share. I was worried that she was going to throw me out of the house, and I had made no plans. Well, she didn’t throw me out. She continued making dinner, and I went to my room to call my closet friend at the time, Teresa. After dinner, Teresa and I went to Denny’s and we talked about the giant weight that had been lifted off of me. The next day, we drove to Oklahoma City, and I attended my very first Gay Pride event.

The biggest hurdle to starting a GLBT organization on the campus of Cameron University was behind me. I thought it would be all downhill from there. Boy was I ever wrong. I couldn’t have dreamed that it would so hard to get something like this started. I talked to the director of Student Activities, and she informed me that I needed seven people along with myself, a faculty advisor, oh, “and did I mention the Constitution and By-Laws?” Well, shit. Okay, this is still doable. I called some friends in Norman at the University of Oklahoma, where their GLBT organization had been in place for over fifteen years, they put me in contact with the SODA group at Oklahoma State University, and they both sent me copies of their constitutions. I also contacted the groups at Southern Methodist University, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, the University of California at San Diego (and Los Angeles), and the University of Texas at Arlington. Every one of these groups mailed me a copy of their constitutions and I went to work drafting the constitution for Cameron University’s Rainbow Alliance. Hey, we had to have a name. Am I right?

I wrote and rewrote and rewrote the constitution until I came up with something that I thought would work. Then, I started looking for seven people who would help me get this started. After months of asking and being rejected, I started asking my straight friends. It was well into the spring semester when I finally got seven people who were willing to see this get started. All this time, I had also been searching for a faculty advisor. This, I would find, was to be the biggest hurdle of them all. There wasn’t one faculty that I asked who didn’t tell me that they couldn’t be the advisor for an organization whose moral code didn’t match up with their own. It seemed that the Rainbow Alliance just wasn’t meant to be. Little did I know that things were about to turn around in a drastic manner.

At the beginning of the Fall semester, in 1998, two new allies came to Cameron University, Jon Horinek and John Batka. Jon Horinek was a new freshman, working in the Cameron Collegian who emailed me and asked if I had started the group yet. After telling him that the faculty advisor was the final hurdle, he asked to do a story on me and my attempts at starting this organization for the college paper. I agreed, and the story was published at the beginning of September. Within one day of the paper hitting the campus, John Batka, a new Psychology professor called me and asked if we had a faculty advisor yet. I told him that we didn’t and he told me, “If someone in my department won’t do it, then I will.” He talked about it at the departmental meeting the next week, then contacted me a few days later and we set up the first meeting of the Rainbow Alliance for the third week of September. Within two days, it was official: Cameron University had its first sanctioned GLBT student organization.

A little over three weeks later, Matthew Shepherd, a student at the University of Wyoming at Laramie, was beaten, left for dead, and had died from his injuries, all because he was gay. This was a college student – one of us. Given that we lived in the buckle of the Bible Belt, it could very well have been any one of us.

Through the past eleven years, the name has changed (from the Rainbow Alliance, to the GLBT, and finally to PRIDE – People Respecting Individuality, Diversity and Equality) but the mission has remained the same and when I wrote in the first drafts of the constitution: This organization services as a group that promotes advocacy and awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered students of Cameron University and the surrounding communities.

At the end of the spring semester in 2007, John Batka left Cameron University for another position, and that left PRIDE without an advisor. In June, the Director of Student Activities called and asked me if I would be willing to fill the position. I told him that if they couldn’t find someone by the beginning of the fall semester, that I would do it. I honestly, don’t think they even looked. They called in August of 2007 and asked if I would take over, and I’ve been the advisor ever since. I guess some would say that it’s fitting that I, as the originator of the group, would become the advisor some ten years later.

At the first meeting, there were about eighteen students. Through the years, the numbers and gone up and have gone down (sometimes to as few as three or four), but Monday night at the Candle Light Vigil commemorating National Coming Out Day and the death of Matthew Shepherd, as the air was filled with drizzle, and the temperature hovered around 60 degrees, there were thirty students and supporters in attendance. Thirty. I was in awe. I couldn’t remember a time with there were that many people, at any event sponsored by PRIDE.

This year’s group of students is more active than any other group that I can remember. They want to be a part of the Cameron community. For the first time, in eleven years, PRIDE is going to take part in the Diversity Week Activities. I consider myself blessed that I’m able to be a part of such a dynamic group of young people, as they strive to make PRIDE their own.

Many of you know that I recently put an offer on a house near NoDa/Plaza Midwood/Uptown Charlotte. My offer has been accepted and within the next few days I will be securing a loan. My closing date will be November 2nd. I am both excited and nervous. I’m excited because this move could mean a realization of a vision I’ve had for a New Monastic/Intentional Community in Charlotte. I’m nervous because I’m afraid I will fail. Many times I have felt I am not “ready” or “good enough” or patient enough to pull something like this off. Truth is… I’m not. But, there is this crazy idea I have that God can handle this and I’m just along for the ride.

I have already got some perspective roommates lined up to help me take care of the bills. In the future I will be looking for some people that would be interested in living together, sharing meals together, praying together, and being beacons of love and compassion to our neighbors.

If you are interested in helping out with any aspects of the community, then I would love to have a support team to encourage myself and the community members and help us out in any way you can. If you have any ideas about cool things our community can do within our neighborhood or the community itself, feel free to speak with me or leave a comment.

I’m excited and I hope you are as well! I want everyone to feel like they can drop by if they are in the area and hang out, have a beer or coffee (or beverage of choice/whatever is in the fridge), and talk about life, love, theology…. (you know, the important stuff!)…

P.S. If you are an artist or aspiring artist, I would love for our community to be able support you. Plus, we could use some sweet art-sy stuff around the house!

“Cosplay (コスプレ, kosupure?), short for “costume roleplay”,[1] is a fan labor type of performance art whose participants outfit themselves, with often-elaborate costumes and accessories, as a specific character or idea.”*

Yeah, I had no idea what it meant either, until I read the definition. I knew there was this tea place in Culver City where Japanese girls dressed up in French Maid outfits. But that’s it. I was pleasantly surprised that Royal/T is more than that. I mean, that was a cool idea–but on top of that, there is a gallery and store that sells Japanese toys, artwork, and clothing.

I attended a meeting at Royal/T cafe a few days ago, and so I snapped a few photos with my iphone. I didn’t think to bring a real camera. Below is a short tour through photos.

I love the look of the bright neon juxtaposed against the natural, green hedge.

Royal/T’s shop features a selection of artist-made consumer goods and design objects. There’s also a lot of interesting “Pullip” dolls with over-sized heads that seemed to be inspired by Anime characters and Blythe. Other items include toys and art by Murakami, Nagi Noda, Yoshitomo Nara, Mitsuhiro Okamoto, Chiho Aoshima, Aya Takano, Hideaki Kawashima.

Here’s a few photos of the store, and some of the items in the store:

And here’s the cafe/restaurant: The best thing on the menu? The High Tea of course! Here’s a description of the cafe from the website:

“Royal/T Cafe is inspired by the Maid Cafes of Tokyo’s Akihabara district. Patrons can expect a menu that, like the art and design of Royal/T, is authentic to a contemporary Japanese experience. The menu presents a fusion of French and Japanese texture with local and organic California style. Alongside “comfort” food and beverage classics like Curry Rice and Matcha Milk Tea, are modern creations like Ponzu Salmon and Kyoto Sunset Tea. Royal/T also offers specialty desserts and afternoon High Tea. The menu is served all day.”

Cute ale bottle with owl

Here’s some of the art space. My favorite thing was the “Porta-Party”. It looks like this giant ipod (about the size of a porta-potty). Inside, there are disco lights and an ipod playing “All that Jazz”. It reminded me of that special make-out room on elimidate or 5th wheel. Not that I ever watched those two shows. Okay, I did. Just a few times. The Porta-Party is much cooler—mainly because it’s located at Royal/T cafe.

Kebiasaan burukku selain mudah tertidur, aku suka sekali mengunyah permen karet. Kebiasaan ini suda

Kebiasaan burukku selain mudah tertidur, aku suka sekali mengunyah permen karet.

Tapi anda jangan khawatir. Ada resep untuk menghilangkan noda permen karet :

Ambil sedikit es batu, masukkan dalam kantung plastik, usapkan pada noda permen karet hingga mengeras. Setelah permen mengeras, niscaya noda permen karet mudah dilepas dari baju yang terkena noda permen karet.

So…, kita tak perlu takut lagi untuk mengunyah permen karet. So.., mari kita mengunyah permen karet bersama-sama…, selamat mengunyah…

Most of us in our “dining group” have lived in heavily populated cities (5 of 6 in the metro-NYC area) and still have that yearning for a little something gritty, authentic and off-beat… that ‘urban-energy’ that sterile, clean ‘new’ Charlotte doesn’t yet fulfill. A trip to check out NoDa was the result of our urban-longings. We set out to explore the culinary scene at Crêpe Cellar & Amelie’s French Bakery & Cafe.

On July 4, 2009, our first NoDa stop was to the Crêpe Cellar Kitchen and Pub located at 3116 North Davidson Street. The exposed brick walls in juxtaposition to the exposed ducting & modern fans gave the restaurant a darkly intimate yet still fresh (powder blue walls) atmosphere: romantic, but not feminine. The six of us ordered a delectable mix of savory crepes (Ham and Gruyere Crêpe), sandwiches (Blackened Chicken Po Boy), salads (Curried Rotisserie Chicken) & stews (Steak & Guinness Pie) — and of course, sweet crepes: Crepes Suzette (truly to die for), Nutella & Bananas, Sweetened Mascarpone & Berries. The French press coffee had great presentation with the table-container & timer, but was strong & bitter. All-in-all, an overwhelming thumbs-up.

Next stop was to the 24-hour Amelie’s French Bakery & Cafe at 2424 N Davidson St. Our full stomachs from Crêpe Cellar prevented total gluttony, but the selection was overwhelming. It will be well-worth making a second trip back to NoDa on an empty stomach. Do not miss the Passion Fruit Ganache Cups, or the Fresh Raspberry ganache cup. The interior is charming with mis-matched intimate cafe tables, chairs & chinawear. Don’t forget to take a moment to look up to see the beautiful pots-and-pans chandelier!

Since our visit to the NoDa location, we have checked out the new pastry counter at Cafe Monte French Bakery & Bistro in South Park/Philips Place, which now houses some of Amelie’s treasures. There is a nice representation of goods there in a pinch or to bring as a wonderful treat to a party host, but the NoDa location has an overwhelming selection of fresh breads, tarts, pastries, etc that is unparalleled elsewhere in Charlotte.
