Doel:

Nora haar drie tutjes laten afgeven aan de Sint zodat de Sint de tutjes aan de beebietjes kan geven die geen tutjes hebben en veel wenen…

Voorbereiding:

De Sintkalender (met dank aan Maaike en Mme Zsazsa): een succes! Ze vond het geweldig om een “kruisje” te tekenen als de dag voorbij was.
Het boekje ‘Anna gooit haar tutjes weg’ van Kathleen Amant. Vorige week aangeschaft en ze heeft toch wel twee keer het verhaaltje willen lezen… Ik denk dat ze het een beetje te confronterend vond. Ze werd er alleszins niet enthousiaster op om haar tutjes af te geven, het klonk eerder van “Mijn tutjes moeten hierblijven, mama, niet voor de beebietjes”. Maar het hielp wel om haar toch een beetje te overtuigen en voor te bereiden. Hoop ik.

Methode:

Gisteren mocht ze voor de eerste keer haar schoentje zetten (aangezien de Sint en zijn pieten gisteren met de boot in Ninove gearriveerd zijn, later meer hierover) en één van haar tutjes erbij leggen. In ruil voor haar opoffering kreeg ze uiteraard een cadeautje en chocola en snoepjes. En eeuwige dankbaarheid van de Sint wegens het opnieuw blij maken van die arme bloedjes van beebies zonder tutje.
Haar tweede tutje mag ze ofwel afgeven aan de Sint die op bezoek komt op papa zijn werk, ofwel mag ze op 5 december twee tutjes (in plaats van één) bij haar schoentje leggen.

Resultaat:

Nora was vooral onder de indruk van de brief, geschreven door Sinterklaas zelf *, waarin uiteraard stond dat ze heel flink was dat ze haar tutje wegschonk en dat ze nu geen tutjes meer nodig heeft omdat ze nu de knuffel Noukie heeft (ze is gek op dat vreselijk belerend kinderprogramma van Noukie…) om mee te slapen. En het lijkt te werken. Nora en Noukie zijn al onafscheidelijk en ze is duidelijk apetrots.
Marie was vooral onder de indruk van de chocola.

Benieuwd hoe blij en enthousiast ze nog zal zijn na het definitieve afscheid van haar derde en laatste tutje…

* Wij De Sint en Zwarte Piet hadden niet goed opgeruimd en hadden het doosje met de krijtjes en de twee krijtjes waarmee ze de brieven schreven, laten rondslingeren en niet terug op zijn plaats gelegd. En grappig dat Nora dat vond, niet te doen

Leuk detail: bij het vorige Sint bezoek was het Nora die de poezenpyama van Marie nog droeg. Ze worden groot, ‘ons maskes’!

Ő itt a férjem, Alex. Soha életében nem dolgozott, de a barkácsolás és a kertészkedés mestere, és penge a logikája. Helyes kis kertje van a ház mellett, pénzfákkal. 81 éves.

Ez a lány az első gyermekem, Szilvi. Igen, barnabőrű, mert őt örökbefogadtuk. Szép kis karrier áll mögötte, most ő a város polgármestere, de a célja a szabad világ vezetőjévé válni.

Ő pedig az unokám, Szilvi fia, Alex. A nagyapjáról lett elnevezve. Fogalmam sincs, ki az apja, de már biztos meghalt, azt hiszem, valami vén fószer volt. Kedvenc színe a rózsaszín, és rocksztárt fogok belőle nevelni.

Van ám nekünk vér szerinti gyermekünk is. Zoltán a neve, szintén a  nagyapja után elnevezve.  Nagy pecás, és a művészetek mestere. Jelenleg nekrológíróként foglalkoztatják a temetőben, és szerintem nem fogja többre vinni.

Zoltánnak van kedvese is, Helénke. Ő később került a családhoz (általam alkotott karakter), nevét pedig egy városi hölgyről kapta.  Egyenlőre szervdonor, ami a foglalkozását illeti, de nemsokára már világhírű sebész lesz! Eddig felfedezett három csillagot és egy bolygót, és most is az eget kutatja.

És végül itt lennék én, Nóra. Valaha a tévénél dolgoztam, és elértem a ranglétra csúcsát, de már visszavonultam. Már egész fiatalon sikeres író voltam, így most is könyvírással foglalkozom, hiszen mivel is lehetne a legjobban elcsapni az időt. 6 bestsellert és 12 sikerkönyvet írtam, valamint számos részét a My name is Boxxy című sorozatnak. A képen épp a férjem portréját festem.

…och så har hon så mycket roliga saker att leka med. En helt ny värld öppnar sig!

Men framför allt så är hon så snäll! Lycka är att ha en kompis.

Op een doordeweekse ochtend. Nora en ik zijn klaar om respectievelijk naar school en werk te vertrekken. Ik doe de autodeur open en spoor Nora aan om in haar autostoel te kruipen. Wat bijna altijd gepaard gaat met veel protest, gezeur en flauw gedoe. Want ons dametje is veel liever lui dan moe, amai nog niet. Maar ik hou voet bij stuk, ze moet zelf in haar stoel kruipen. Uiteindelijk doet ze het toch en terwijl ik haar gordel vastmaak zeg ik nog eens duidelijk: “Nora, wat je zelf kán doen, moet je van mama zelf doen. Punt.”

Ze zegt niets terug, diep in gedachten verzonken, tot ik 3 minuten later haar van achter mij hoor zeggen: “Maar mamaaaa, een punt is wel aan een potlood eh! Mama toch!“. Op een heel erg betweterig toontje.

Omdat ze onze twee allergrootste schatten zijn.
Omdat ze zo ontzettend hard en snel veranderen.
Omdat ze steeds meer en meer samen spelen en samen een front vormen in plaats van elk op zichzelf te spelen (hoewel ze ook geweldig snel, vaak en fel ruzie kunnen maken).
Omdat de oudste zich als “gjote sus” steeds serieuzer, schattiger en bezorgder gedraagt (maar de jongste dat niet altijd apprecieert).
Omdat de jongste nog meer een eigen persoonlijkheid (en willetje) vormt en elke dag een stukje zelfstandiger en zelfbewuster wordt.
Omdat ze zo groot worden en niet alleen figuurlijk: Nora meet ongeveer 93,3 cm, Marie 81,5 cm. Ongeveer! Want de twee dames meten tegen de deurstijl, voetjes tegen de muur, hoofdjes recht terwijl ze net hun middagdutje gedaan hebben, wat humeurig zijn en vooral lastig en weerstandig, is niet gemakkelijk.

Hello, everyone!

Well, I know that I have just kind of dropped off the map all of a sudden. My life just got really busy and really crazy. I just wanted to make a post and reach out and say  ‘ hello ‘ to everyone that has continued to pop in over here the past few months.

So, what happened? Are you curious? 

Change. Change has been the name of the game these past few months.

Well, first of all , all  of a sudden in July my father just gave me the family business. He doesn’t want to do it any more. And, since that is how I make my money, I have taken it over completely, even though it was never anything that I actually wanted to do. So, as you can imagine, I had my hands full with chaos in general. It is never easy owning a business, especially when you have emotional ties with family, so that has just been…..overwhelming – that’s probably the nicest way to put it. 

There is so much going on with that that it has really changed alot of my plans, so secondly, I have decided to stop building my other web page. I just am not up to dealing with all of that and I’m not the most tech- oriented person anyway. Oh , well.

There is much much more, but I’m sure you get the point.  Things have been busy.

Tonight I watched So You Think You Can Dance and the couple that danced to Two Steps Away from Pattie LaBelle were just absolutely amazing. I love dancing so much! Dancing or watching it is so wonderful.

I love my new candle from Restoration Hardware, it’s pomegranite scented and it’s lovely. Ooo, on my next year list I think I’m going to add a big leather couch from Restoration Hardware – that’s a nice wish, right?

I just bought a sample of perfume from Lucky Scent that I’m really excited about. It’s called Madera. It is supposed to smell like a fine caramel – I will let you know how delicious it is  for anyone who who wants to smell like dessert. :) Which is one of my favorite ways to smell.

God. Today was just all over the place.

It started beautifully; we have this state testing in these big booklets with fill-in-the-bubble Q’s and amazing essays about cyber-technology and owls (as this prude squeed about) that I really enjoyed while the dickwads aforementioned in this blog (class prez winner, total jackass, ringin’ any bellz?) chose to write “I don’t fucking know” on their essays. That was rambly, but GAH, I love these tests. They are just so amazing. They don’t do anything for your grades, which is a plus in my book (I definitely don’t care about or like grades and homework and regular tests that make you look dumb when you really didn’t try). The tests simply see what you excel at and I infer that they’re used in state statistics.

Anyhoo. After the the one-fourth of the testing, two hours, was over, I had to face the rest of the day stricken with guilt for not telling my best friend something. Eventually I told her, and then felt bad for ratting out another friend. I then told him that I told her (mindwarp, lo siento), and then felt really awful because he is now mad at me. It’s just an annoying spiral that I don’t feel like explaining because my head already hurts .. but overall it was just stressful and awful and gah.

I end a lot of run-ons with “gah”. To self: Must think of more endings and transitions. Gah.

Right now I am staring at my massive pastel kit, wanting to pastel something purdy. My hands just feel too damn tired (not tired enough to blog, though, hmmm!) to make something pretty, which is depressing. I am depressing. Today is not a good day.

EXCEPPPPT. I got to hang out with M-Dig. That was nice.

I’m back! I’ve been so busy lately, I haven’t even gotten to post. Part of it was my new obsession with the Youtube baby name community. Who knew? Anyway, check out my new baby name channel, just search LucyKruegerBabyNamer. Also check out AnastasiaRuby, she’s another great baby name Youtuber.

Anyway…on to my featured names. Nola is the girl name, and I suppose Nolan must be the male form though I can’t be sure. Nola is of Celtic, Irish, and Latin origin, and is the short form of the Irish name Fionnula. I heard on Nameberry from Olivekit that she named her little girl Nola, and it means little bell. Hmm…Fionnula. That’s an interesting one, especially with Fiona gaining popularity right now. Nolan is also Celtic and Irish, which makes me think the two are related. Nolan means famous and noble. I love the old lady cool feel that Nola as, and is also just so cute. I can imagine the name on a cute little girl. Its similar to Nora, but I don’t like Nora as much. I love how Nolan has that girly-masculine feel to it. Its hard to explain, but I just don’t see Nolan as some sort of muscular football player. I see a handsome but nerdy guy who wears tweed, and somehow I love that. There aren’t any nicknames I can think of for these two, but I do like these combinations:

Nora is rescue only because she bit an ACCAC employee. Nora needs a rescue willing to work with possible fear aggression, and ongoing, extensive socialization.  Nora has come a long way and her story starts as a sad one.  She was thought to be dead on the side of the road, but was barely alive from starvation.  The staff didn’t think she would make it over night, but somehow she pushed her way through.  Nora was just skin and bones and was nicknamed Skelatora and I decided to shorten it to Nora.  Some of the staff share a real soft spot for her and have been working to help her overcome her fear and anxiety issues.  She shows severe signs of neglect…and if someone could look past her scrawny body and fear issues she could make a good friend one day.

Update 10/30: A wonderful and caring citizen would like to donate $150 to the rescue group that saves Nora.  Please contact Allyson at athenspets@gmail.com if your licensed rescue group saves sweet Nora.

Pollo is the daughter of Marko (29267).  This tiny teacup baby is only 3 pounds and is very delicate.  She is very malnourished at the moment and could really use a home that will fatten her up and love on her.  She also has cherry eye and can be fixed with a simple surgical procedure.  Her eye has gotten worse over the past couple of days, but her eye shouldn’t be damaged. Her ears are covered in scratches and cuts, but I’m not sure what caused it and it doesn’t seem to bother her.  Pollo is more affectionate than her father…all she wants to do is cuddle.  She is pretty cold here and tries to huddle next to her father or in your arms.  Please come cuddle with this tiny baby soon.

Aries is the most beautiful black German Shepherd I’ve ever seen! Aries is in need of some socialization and hugs.  She doesn’t understand why she is at the pound.  Her disposition is calm and tender.  She was submissive towards me as I leashed her, but I have to warn you if you try and walk her please be very patient with her needs. She is very scared of the leash and doesn’t understand why it has to go around her neck and pull her around…she thinks she can walk just fine on her own.  She will freeze and wont budge until you push her, but once she trusts you she will probably be a great walking buddy.  Aries loves to have her face massaged the most…she will close her eyes and melt in your hands.  She also has a permanent ear flop due to a healed old injury that broke her ear and was never properly treated. Come meet Aries and show her you can be best friends.

Los chicos se quedaron sin amorosa, al momento que Ana Maria dejo su lugara para pasar hacer una pretendiente de Marcus y les dejaron la tarea a los pretendientes que durante la semana hicieran una lista con las caracteristicas fisicas y alguna que otras mentales para escoger a la nueva amorosa por la cual lucharan por conquistar; entre algunas caracteristicas estaban:

- Ojos azules    -Mida 1.73 metros   – Sin traumas

- Con senos grandes  – No le apeste la boca  – Inteligente  – Honestidad

Las tres chicas escogidas fueron:

Después de esta prueba los chicos escogieron a Nora como su nueva amorosa pero, les tenian  una sorpresa  o mejor dicho una “tentación” a los pretendientes, una chica que habia sido escogida por la producción.
