DALLAS — Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank is a Dallas nonprofit hunger organization. It operates from its 100,000 square foot facility, providing meal assistance to 1,000 food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers and other agencies in 13 counties across the metroplex, providing north Texas with 175,000 meals everyday — that equates to about 62 million meals every month.
