<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Women&#8217;s Exchange of Washtenaw Hosts Forum12: </strong>The Women’s Exchange of Washtenaw hosts its annual day-long conference on Thursday, Sept. 13.  The annual forum, titled “Now We’re Talking,” will engage the business community in conversation about the challenges women business leaders face in growing and improving their companies. This year’s panel features Amy Cell, Senior Vice President of Talent Enhancement at the Michigan Economic Development Corp., along with other influential women from the Southeastern Michigan region. The day will include your choice of 10 featured workshops ranging in topics such as social media to shifting careers for women. Discussions and brainstorming will revolve around the how we can work together to “Empower Michigan”. The conference runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will take place at Washtenaw Community College. Cost for the event is $89 prior to event and $109 at the door. Registration can be found at <a href="http://www.wxwannualforum.com">www.wxwannualforum.com. </a> The mission of the Women’s Exchange of Washtenaw is to host unique events where women business leaders talk through their issues, share experiences and ideas, and form lasting connections. Ann Arbor businesswomen Carrie Hensel and Debra Power founded WXW in 2007. They saw the need for an organization dedicated to women who are building strong and growing companies. Today, the WXW serves over 800 women with interactive events and networking opportunities.</p>
