I was recently asked to take a photo for my good friends Art In Thesis’s  EP cover. With a very vauge subject of telephone poles the ideas to be had were endless. With a failed attempt up north in Clearield/West Haven/West Point/Roy/Clinton/etc. I took it upon myself to travel into the middle of nowhere.  The first place that came to mind was Magna, UT.  Magna’s claim to fame is the Saltair and the Kennecot Copper Mine. Magna is about 20miles West of Salt Lake City.  Well one morning with nothing to do and a due date about 24hrs away I decided to venture out there and see what was there.  Well I was brilliant, apparently middle of nowhere= telephone poles heaven. With about a billion options to choose from I stopped about every 5 minutes and scoped the area.  Even with about a billion poles there was always a tiny thing wrong, making the photo pretty useless. 

With a little bit of luck and lack of direction I found a spot that looked very promising. I got out of my car to a very cold air. And with my luck I forgot to bring any sort of glove or hand warming mechanism. Also my (bad) luck brought traffic for about 15 mintues. I mean this was out in BFE and no cars in sight when I parked  off the side of the road on a dirt mound but the second I step out my car 15 tractors decide to come my way. Even with all the struggles of hustlin’ a photo I managed to get a shot I’m pretty pleased with. I’ve included some of my edits of the photo. None of which are the actual cover, which I haven’t even seen but I’m sure looks awesome. I think edited by Mason or Jeff or maybe Skyler but most likely not Jaron or Mike and for good reason. lol

I would like to take this time to introduce you to my new bosom buddy. This is Amy. We’re pretty sure we were separated at birth (except for the fact that we’re two years apart and look nothing alike). We hate all the same things (stupid people, commitment, children, waiting, etc.). Generally, along with my desert emails, she keeps me sane at work.

One of our favourite break past-times is to play in The BARGAIN! Shop in the Bay View “Mall”. (Side note: where I come from, we would refer to the Bay View Mall as a “flea market”.)

Having previewed the LO2 Reprint Stadium jacket from the resurrected Nowhere’s Last Orgy 2 line (from A Bathing Ape’s Nigo + Undercover’s Jun Takahashi) just a few days ago, we can now confirm not only the 5th December release date, but also these new colourways. With the purple number dropping across Bape stores, the red/green/black/navy editions will be available exclusively at the latest Nowhere pop-up store in Hong Kong. Finally, an all black version (which we saw Jun Takahashi rocking in the last post) will be available at Undercover. Each jacket will be priced around $910 and will be available, of course, in limited numbers.

Why do I want, what I want?

Why are my desires, my desires

I have been to my own country, and it is foreign

4.30am in the morning and I’m still wide awake. I’m impressed with myself not feeling tired for so long.

All I know about myself is I’m wasting every moments of my life doing something I shouldn’t do at all. I always do things at the wrong time! Just like this time I should be sleeping but I’m stuck in facebook playing my cafe world, mafia wars and doing boring quizes.

LOL! It’s so amusing. Almost all personality quizzes that I had taken descibe me as unpredictable. I must agree with that because even I, don’t know what will I do the next moment. I just continue to amaze myself.

A short introduction to Nowhere, my new (temporary) home.

I would first like to address the general intelligence/education level of my new peers. Frankly, the appearance of said peers will monopolize so many posts in the future, I wanted to get this aspect of my people out of the way in the beginning.

They are blue collar. They are back country. They are genius.
