Taking to media Fauzia Wahab (spokeperson PPP) said that Swiss cases were made against Benazir Bhutto and in CEC they have decided not to open cases
against Nusrat and Benazir Bhutto. It seems the party is again playing Shaheed (Martyr) card to get sympathies of people to cover up Zardari and team corruption.

Also there is a media campaign launched by PPP against judiciary going on. The campaign is not only being launched in Pakistan but in international media as well.

Zardari and team has also been playing liberal and Sind cards as well.

We need to beware of all these things as civil society, they are doing this to further destabilize things as they are not able to run the country properly. PPP wants to come out
from this situation as a victim.

These corrupt feudal  politicians are playing as dirty as they can but we need to stand by the justice and rule of law and don’t fall into any illusions they create.

Five Days (BBC1), starring Shivani Ghai and Aaron Neil

It’s asking a lot of time-pressed modern types to commit to a show that’s on every night of the week. But two days into Five Days (BBC1) and it’s looking like the commitment is well worth it: the traps have been set in this intelligent and uncompromising story and, like with a book whose pages you can’t help but keep turning, a strange kind of spell has been cast.

On the face of it, Five Days is two separate stories which may or may not be linked. A body has crashed off a bridge from a train, a baby has been abandoned in a hospital toilet.

From this twin plot device, writer Gwyneth Hughes is spinning us in surprising directions, fleshing out the characters caught up in the ripples of mystery to the extent that we care as much about what happens to them as we do about the body and the baby.

Nusrat and Danny are a case in point. Though their relationship is sketched out in just a few scenes, this young couple seeking to adopt a baby after years of failing to conceive have an instant emotional impact.

Shivani Ghai and Matthew McNulty are entirely believable in a relationship that’s entirely about people, not religious or social issues. Theirs is just one strand of a credible social fabric that gives Five Days an air of total believability.

Where so many crime dramas overhype the build-up to a big revelation so that the climax is inevitably a let-down, thus far Five Days has a refreshing sense of perspective.

It could, of course, all go pear-shaped by episode five should the baby in the toilet turn out to be an alien entity landed from Mars, but I doubt it. The one concession to by-the-book feel-good cliché is the likelihood of bright but lonely detective Laurie (Suranne Jones) copping off with her sarcastic but sexy new boss. Though if she does, at least she’ll give as good as she gets.
