Igazából Hello Kitty -t terveztem mára, de megtaláltam a telefonomban a jegyzetet, amit még szombaton írtam, mikor beültem a Tv elé, és úgy döntöttem, Kitty várhat még egy napot.

Meccs előtti alapozás volt, MusicMix -el a háttérben. Könnyes szemmel hallgattam a nemzetközi zeneipar legnagyobbjait.
Nem mondanám, hogy naprakész vagyok ebben a fajta zenében. Ezért is a nagy (?) csúszás, ugyanis ha minden igaz, egy 2008 -as Arsenium gyöngyszemről lesz most szó. Viszont értetlenül állok a dolog elött, mert nekem van egy öcsém, akitől nem egy, nem kettő hasonló zenei foszlány szűrődött már át a szobámba, de ezt még nem hallottam… Most éli virágkorát? (Szóljatok ám, ha tényleg egy egész évvel vagyok elmaradva, akkor pótlom a hiányosságokat!)

Érdemes figyelni a táncot, amit a refrénre nyomnak. Nagyon kreatív. Ha biztos lennék benne, hogy egy szórakozóhelyen mások is hasonló humorérzékkel rendelkeznek, tutira elsütném. Persze nem egyedül, és a legjobb úgy lenne, ha én is bokáig állhatnék a vízben. De ne legyünk nagyravágyók!
Megintcsak nem vagyok benne biztos, hogy újdonság lesz amit mondani fogok, de én sokáig agyaltam azon, honnan ismerős nekem ez a szám…. aztán beugrott!

És ha ezt a táncot összekombináljuk az előzővel, egy egész pofás koreográfiát kapunk. És hogy mire fel a nagy hasonlóság? Nah, hát ezt is kiderítettem: Arsenium (gondolom ez az Ő művészneve) az O -zone együttes egyik tagja. Volt. Mert már mind külön utakon járnak. És Mind nagyon sikeresek.

O-Zone a fost o formaţie de muzică pop compusă din Dan Bălan, Radu Sîrbu şi Arsenie Toderaş.

O-zone

Originari din Republica Moldova, trio-ul s-a lansat de fapt în România. Consideraţi a fi parte a curentului artistic românesc din regiunea istorică Moldova, care constă din numeroşi artişti şi muzicieni moldoveni afirmaţi plenar în România şi Republica Moldova, aşa-numita “invazie moldovenească”, trio-ul s-a axat pe stilurile dance şi eurodance, ajungând cu câteva din melodiile lor să ocupe primul loc în topurile româneşti şi moldoveneşti.

La un an de la lansarea melodiei Dragostea din tei în România, cei trei de la O-Zone au lansat acest superhit în toată Europa, ajungând pe prima poziţie în 27 de ţări ale lumii. O-Zone au fost 13 săptămâni pe locul 1 în Eurocharts şi s-au vândut peste 8 milioane de discuri.

Deşi considerat cel mai de succes grup din Europa în anul 2004, cei de la O-Zone s-au despărţit pe 13 ianuarie 2005. Cei trei membri ai formaţiei s-au lansat fiecare în proiecte individuale, continuând cariere solo. Singurul care şi-a continuat apariţia în topurile europene este Arsenie, cu melodia “Love Me…, Love Me…”, care a intrat pe poziţia 33 în topul MTV din Germania.

O-Zone s-a înfiinţat în 1999 la Chişinău în componenţa Dan Bălan – Petru Jelihovski, dar consacrarea s-a făcut la lansarea în Republica Moldova în formula Dan, Arsenie şi Radu. Discografia grupului conţine trei albume: primul apărut în 1999 la Chişinău, “Number 1″, editat în 2001 şi “DiscO-Zone” lansat în 2003 la Bucureşti.

Bogdan Popoiag, membru al trupei Unu, a pierdut procesul prin care dorea să-şi atribuie drepturile de autor ale melodiei [Dragostea din tei], dar a câştigat procesul de calomnie prin care Dan Bălan dorea să arate că Popoiag ar fi un mincinos. Popoiag a renunţat după o vreme la primul proces din motive necunoscute. Se spune că acesta a fost angajat doar pentru a realiza orchestraţia piesei respective, care de fapt nu exista până la aşa zisa angajare.

Dan Bălan, 30 de ani, a lansat o versiune în limba engleză a piesei de succes Dragostea din tei în 2004: “Ma-Ya-Hi” (English Version: Dan Bălan feat. Lucas Prata). El a anunţat că va lansa un album rock la New York, dar ultima veste este că ar dori să se întoarcă în România şi să reînfiinţeze trupa O-Zone în altă componenţă.

Şlagărul “Draostea din tei” a fost prelucrat şi a devenit popular în aproape toate ţările asiatice: Japonia, Indonezia, Taiwan etc.

Ragu sledding, yay!

This is a video explaining the features and benefits of using the Aquawing o-zone system. If you are interested in saving money and getting great results from your laundry then take a few minutes and watch this video.

Unlike my video using the song, I thought this AMV was awfully unique at the same time. The concept behind this video was that it was based on the actual music video made by O-Zone including the modified O-Zone plane. I thought it was very unique compared to other videos using the same song. For the animations, they used characters from other anime series including Porco Rosso, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Sailor Moon, Hellsing and others. The only thing that annoyed was the usage of subtitles. Note that the AMV maker primary language is not English so that I can understand. Also, I thought the song matched very well especially around 2:36. You will know what I mean when you see it.Overall, I think it is a great job.

So to start things off, I decided to premiere one of my own videos… K-ON Numa Numa.

Unlike some of my other works, this one is almost completely lip-synced. The idea is from the original Numa Numa video where Gary does a humorous lip sync to the song. As for the lyrical part, I chose scenes that I thought would match the video. I had to rely on a stray translation I found online to get it to match.

As you know, the Numa Numa meme did NOT start on YouTube. It was created on December 6th, 2004 by Gary Brolsma or by Gman250. After that, it was featured on CNN, VH1, and others. Today, the original Numa Numa video on Newgrounds has amassed over 15 million views with an additional 4 million on the YouTube version. There are more views from other YouTube videos and other sources.

The song is Dragostea din Tei which translates to “Love of the Linden Tree.” The band is O Zone. The song top the charts in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Romania, Swisserland, and others. Before anyone asks what language this song is, it is in Romanian. There is also an English version of the song as well but it did not pick up in popuarlity. The meme is still kinda strong and different language versions of the song have been produced.

Jeg har lyttet til radioen for å prøve å fange opp hva som er sommerens musikalske hit’er, men det er ingenting som har spesielt “caught my ears”. Jeg har hørt ett eller annet om en luftmadrass og en “lonesome traveller” og Aqua synger om 80-tallet (Den sistnevnte liker jeg godt, siden jeg hadde min første storhetstid på 80-tallet;) ).

Men fremdeles venter jeg på en skikkelig stor hit, en landeplage som tar hele Europa med storm, en som…. som…..ja, som “Dragostea din Tei” ! “HÆ?” sier du kanskje fordi du ikke husker den moldovsk/rumenske popgruppen O-zone som i 2003 og 2004 herjet hitlistene i hele Europa og ja verden. Videoen er skikkelig harry og herlig, og låta satte uutslettelige spor i underbevisstheten.

For å friske opp hukommelsen så har jeg lagt til musikkvideoen under her. Og når du spiller den av GARANTERER jeg at du husker den! Og hvis det er en hit denne sommeren som kan måle seg med denne, så gi meg et tips….

Acum cinci minute, în playlist-ul unuia dintre cele mai în voga posturi de radio din Italia (M2O) s-a strecurat un remix/cover al celebrei melodii “Dragostea din Tei“.  Trebuie să recunosc că suna destul de bine, deşi am ascultat melodia asta de-mi venea să vomit acum caţiva ani.

Adevărul e că până la urma, după cum a tras concluzia un prieten, se pune muzică românească (da, ştiu că-s moldoveni) la radiourile italiene. Formaţia e praf si pulbere, dar melodia e un fel de legenda. E plina wikipedia de referiri la ea, la fel si Youtube.

Născută la data de  22 iulie 1967 la Rucăr, judeţul Argeş, Ileana Şipoteanu studiază muzica la Şcoala Populară de Artă din Piteşti, secţia canto. Este licenţiată a Facultăţii de Teatru a Universităţii Hyperion. Ileana Şipoteanu îşi face debutul la teatrul “Alexandru Davila” din Piteşti unde activează ca solistă până în anul 1990, iar din 1992 devine solistă a teatrului de revistă “Fantasio” din Constanţa. În 1986 obţine o menţiune la Festivalul Naţional de Muzică “Mamaia” la secţiunea Interpretare, iar în 1988 obţine premiul Presei la Festivalul “Lira de aur” de la Bratislava. În anii 1992, 1993, 1994 primeşte premiul “Doina Badea” la Festivalul Teatrelor de Revistă. Astăzi, Ileana Şipoteanu îşi sărbătoreşte ziua de naştere motiv pentru care echipa Top Românesc îi urează LA MULŢI ANI şi numai clipe frumoase alături de public şi de cei dragi. A good number of years ago (October 2005 I think), I was in Berlin with Marc and we happened across a number of pop songs whilst we were there (not all German, but “hits” there at the time).

For some reason, they all came back to me this morning, so I thought that I’d share them (and their in-built cheesiness) with everyone!

I still find myself listenening to Obsession and Dragostea Din Tei fairly frequently, but had hoped to confine that god-awful Space Taxi song to the recesses of my mind… after torturing you lot with it first, naturally heh!

`tis the holidays! I should probably be studying for Trials, but I’m taking a six-hour break.
..fine, I didn’t do anything today, except go to Jap tutoring.

On that note – what textbook would you guys recommend? My Jap tutor said to find a new textbook I liked, and I’m really quite lost. Since I know a fair number of you guys have done/are doing Jap, any recommendations?

I’ve finished Kimono 1 and Kimono 2, but I don’t really like them enough to go on with Kimono 3. They feel quite unstructured.. good for the Year 7/8 level they’re targeting, but I’d prefer something with more focus on grammar. Something like the equivalent of Tapis Volant for French. In hindsight, that was a pretty awesome textbook – nice and structured, with tables and everything. With Kimono, I feel like I’m sort of.. disorganised, I guess. We learn negative and imperative forms before learning the actual verb, which drives me crazy x)

I was thinking of maybe going straight to Wakatta!, but I don’t know if I’m ready for it. That’s what Jap Continuers use, right? I don’t think I’m anywhere near that level. My Jap feels like it’s full of gaping holes.

I was also thinking of Hai or Mirai 3/4.. maybe Isshoni? What did Ruse use for Year 9/10 Jap, out of curiosity? Which textbook would you pick?

Does anyone have an old copy of Ohayoo lying around that they wouldn’t mind donating btw? I don’t mind if it’s been written in or anything. Yep, after looking at prices in Kinokuniya, I don’t think I’m rich enough to go on a shopping spree for textbooks just for revision purposes =(

I wish I did Japanese in Year 9/10. But then I’d regret not doing French or Commerce. I’m a conspiracy theorist when it comes to Commerce. Useless subject – it exists just so that parents can prove that kids still believe the ‘it’s good for you’ line. Well, I guess it’s good if you’re considering Eco or something in Year 11/12. And maybe I did learn a bit more about taxation and investment… but I wish I did Japanese instead. I really would regret not doing French in the end – I’m glad I still remember a bit. I know enough so that I understood a fair bit of the text in the opening of Saikano.

Anyway. I threatened to publish JE themed blogs, so that’s what this actually is. Sorry x). I found this video a while ago, and it’s a very good explanation of why I’m probably a little obsessed with Johnny’s Entertainment. It’s not because of their looks, choreography or their costumes which look like they came out of the Mardi Gras.. but because they make me smile. I find them entertaining, at least, and that’s a good enough reason for me to follow their stuff.

As the title says, it’s a random Arashi fanvid to Dragostea Din Tei by O-Zone, AKA the Numa numa song or whatever it’s called.
(Surprisingly, not everyone seems to know what it is. I thought it was universal.)

Reaction #2: After watching it again.. it’s quite well made. Timing was handled well – I’d probably still appreciate the video without being a fangirl.
Reaction #3: This is addictive.. and it’s the fifth time I’ve seen it. Something about the dance moves; the bit just before the 1 minute mark makes me crack up^^

Arashi still isn’t really cemented as a favourite band for me. They’ve grown on me a lot, I’d love to go to their concerts, I like a fair few of their singles, and they’ve been climbing up my Last.fm chart.. but I’d still prefer NEWS or KAT-TUN. But I do find them entertaining =) (and I loved MatsuJun in HYD and Gokusen 1)

Today I finally listened to’ 明日の記憶’, the single Arashi released a bit more than a month ago. Kind of late, considering they’ve just released their single ‘Everything’ a few days ago, but I haven’t been downloading getting much new music recently. The clip’s quite nice – wait until about the chorus, where they start taking photos. I love the photos – I wish I took spectacular photos. And I want a wall like the one at the end of the clip *sigh*

The song’s been growing on me. It feels like everyone gets more equal turns at singing compared to other songs – even though Ohno Satoshi’s voice is easily the strongest, I prefer it when the others get more than the occasional line. It’s a reason why I don’t like the huge JE groups such as Hey! Say! JUMP as much… but that’s also because I find it hard to identify ten individual voices x)

The clip probably has a link to the ‘Crazy Moon’ PV, but I didn’t like that half of the single much – it sounds a bit too generic for me.

I really don’t feel like studying. I actually want to go watch the next Harry Potter movie – I don’t know why though, I didn’t like the 6th or 7th book. I also kind of want to watch Ice Age 3 and Bruno. Heh.

I haven’t done any work in the last week. I swear our entire school has swine flu xD Thankfully I’m getting better (or so I think) – after sleeping for more than 12 hours for a few days straight, I feel almost normal. Amoxil’s clearing up my cough; not the nice syrup stuff, the boring capsules =(

I should be frantically making notes right now, right?

Hmm. I’ll go stare at my computer screen for a while and wait for notes to magically appear in front of me, then.
