You can’t spend yourself out of debt. In reality, it doesn’t work that way. But Joe Biden certainly thinks we can.

Vice President Joe Biden told people attending an AARP town hall meeting that unless the Democrat-supported health care plan becomes law the nation will go bankrupt and that the only way to avoid that fate is for the government to spend more money.

He is probably trying to lay the groundwork for another ’stimulus’ plan. Whatever he is doing, don’t listen to him. Or Obama. They may make their so called solutions sound great with their charming rhetoric, but be aware of their real intentions.

Drum roll please…the person I don’t want to be this week is  President Obama for wearing those god damn mom jeans (ooh and for throwing like a girl).  Could there be no greater shame? Sure, I could have easily picked this week’s “I don’t want to be  person”, amongst some worthy contenders like the mastermind behind the Marriott and the Ritz terrorist attacks in Indonesia or any one of Michael Jackson’s dentists or doctors but no I didn’t. You want to know why Obama?  Because you wore friggin mom jeans. Think about it, there is no recovery from that. Geez, even if you wore a Snuggie blanket I could have let it slide (hmm, no, not really) but friggin mom jeans, hell no!

Your poor daughters, did you not think of them when you went to your wardrobe and slipped on those Walmarters special?  Where the hell was Michelle when this was going on, she would have come down on you like a tonne of bricks. You ain’t be going out this White House door with no mom jeans. Imagine the shame they must carry now that history will forever  link you to mom jeans. Then you had to to top it all off by throwing that baseball like a girl. I just hope your daughters have enough compassion to forgive you. It may take time.

Congress passed the “America’s  Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009” this week.  They didn’t read it.  They didn’t have time.  They only debated the bill for three hours.  One has to wonder how one can debate a bill in excess of one thousand pages, unread, in only three hours, but Congress managed to find a way. 

President Obama has assured us that we could keep our health care plans and our doctors if we like them.  The bill passed by Congress doesn’t exactly read the way the President has told us that it would.  In Part 1, General Provisions is this:

“(20) Qualified health benefits plan.–The term “qualified health benefits plan” means a health benefits plan that meets
        the requirements for such a plan under title I and includes the public health insurance option.”

In other words, you can keep your health care plan if you like it, as long as it includes the public health plan, whether you like it or not.

Under SEC. 102. PROTECTING THE CHOICE TO KEEP CURRENT COVERAGE, is the wording that effectively kills private insurance.

“(1) Limitation on new enrollment.–
                    (A) In general.–Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer
                offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of
                coverage is on or after the first day of Y1.”

Insurance companies are like any other business, they need new customers in order to grow, they need to grow in order to stay in business.  When they are banned from enrolling new customers, they are condemned to going out of business.  When health insurance providers are forced out of business, you no longer have the option of “keeping you health insurance”, you are now required to accept the government plan.

The next question becomes “can you depend on the government health insurance?”  Simple answer is yes you can.  Congress included the Blackmail clause to insure that you have no choice but to depend on it.

“Subtitle E–States Failing To Adhere to Certain Employment Obligations

SEC. 2541. LIMITATION ON FEDERAL FUNDS.

    A State is eligible for Federal funds under the provisions of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 201 et seq.) only if the State–
            (1) agrees to be subject in its capacity as an employer to each obligation under division A of this Act and the amendments made by such division applicable to persons in their capacity as an employer; and
            (2) assures that all political subdivisions in the State will do the same.”

So much for Obama’s welfare health plan being optional.

Women put up the classic dog and pony show when you first meet them.  Then once they have you locked down either by marriage or by squeezing out a baby, that’s when they change.  Well not change, more like go back to their real slobby selves.

How often have you heard women talk about losing weight for their wedding?  And that’s exactly what they do, they lose the weight for that ONE day, then they pork up like the pigs they really are.  Plus, why aren’t they losing weight for the so-called love of their life?  Don’t they love the guy enough to lose the fat for more than one day.  Of course most American women are just way to fucking lazy to do that, it’s much easier for the fat pig to point to her wedding picture and say “see what I USED to look like”.

For the guy the wedding picture is a reminder of how he fell for the classic bait and switch routine.  Hopefully some of these guys will use those pictures as reminders of who really does lie more!  That poor smuck actually thought he was getting the girl in the wedding pictures!!  Instead he got a fatter and more hostile version of the woman that he first met.  That’s why guys cheat, not to get something new, but to get something like they thought they had in the first place!

There is no benefit for a man to get married, unless he’s a complete loser.

Apparently, math wasn’t Joe Biden’s strong point. Either that or government can avoid the laws of common sense, inflation and sanity. Regardless of which one is right, this administration has a problem with spending our money; it comes from the attitude outlined by the headline of the article [see above link]. The problem is that with our current economic slowdown (understating the problem) there is no such a thing as a Keynesian multiplier insofar as you are not plugging up the hole in the bottom of the boat, you’re just bailing: eventually you’ll sink if you’re doing nothing to stop the leak (assuming Keynes was right, which he was not: world war two got us out of the Great Depression, not John Maynard Keynes). Don’t trust me? The problem is that the economy is being burdened by the parasite of government. The parasite has grown big and is now draining the lifeblood of the economy, and is burdening the rich; the last time I checked the rich are the only people who can afford to spend anything right now, therefore taxing them more will not help us out of the slump. Secondly, it is harder to do business in the United States than in any other country: there are probably more laws regarding the sales, production, transer and processing of goods here than anywhere else. The tax code -according to the Glenn Beck program-is 60,000 pages long: even if you don’t like Glenn Beck, this is an exorbidantly large document; if you sat down and read it, you probably could not finish it without forgetting what you had started reading in the first place.

Spending is not the answer. In fact, it is in no way even close to the answer: spending is only digging us into deeper debt and forcing the government to saddle more taxes onto the economy and thereby slow it down. In fact, the economy won’t even grow as fast as the debt will. Don’t trust me on this one? Teams ranked 1-5 should all be competitive both nationally and in the Pac-10 and should make the NCAA’s. Arizona and UCLA will be young and on the rise, Washington will have a group of experienced veterans leading a core of talented  youth, and Cal and Oregon St. will be play for the now as they are made up of seniors and juniors. Though the Pac-10 will be considerably down from years in the past; fresh faces, rivalries new and old, and the drama that always comes with the Pac-10 will make this year as riveting and entertaining as ever.

5. Arizona

Bottom Line: Arizona is coming off of their third coach in as many years and now look to newly hired Coach Sean Miller for stability.  Though Arizona loses stars Chase Budinger and Jordan Hill, with Nic Wise returning and a surprisingly strong recruiting class coming in, the Wildcats look to be well on their way to returning  back atop of the Pac-10 as they were in the Olson years.

The young Bruin talent, finally unleashed after waiting behind the veteran Bruin’s of old, will look to bring UCLA back to the head of Pac-10 and ultimately back atop the NCAA.

i had to ask myself are we back to the ways of the 50’s ? are these men trying to rile their base about abortion and affirmation action talk will slowly grow into a loud cry to have it voted down? …  my thought and hope would be that this confirmation hearing was a loud noise to let the public know that women and people of colour have a long way to go.

The ratio of women and people of colour to any business ownership, political offices,  bank head, business head, has to be recognized … affirmative action is a deterent to what has been going on consiously or not  for years …  notice that unemployment for women is 6.5 yet women and men of colour have double digit unemployment rates … shameful.

At top of radio show, CNN’s Dobbs repeatedly says Obama needs to “produce a birth certificate”

My great grandfather Allen Butler was an avid Southern Democrat. He believed in a party that supported the working class man, one that listened to the people, one that defended the country, one that was of the people. I could only imagine his comments on the Democratic party of today.

Looking back through American politics I realized that after the death of President John F. Kennedy, political polarity between the 2 major parties undeniably switched.

Although President Obama often is compared to the 35th President, the two couldn’t be farther from each other in the political spectrum. Kennedy was, without a doubt, a conservative.

Glancing back through quotes from the 35th President of the United States what is extremely apparent is the Conservative nature of JFK’s policies compared to those of our current President, Barack Hussein Obama.

“And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” This quote displays JFK’s conservatism. He’s saying not only does the country not owe you anything, you really should consider serving the country in some way. You are not entitled to a free education, health-care and a drivers licenses. These are all privileges. Ones we should take advantage of and expect the best of, yet many people today feel they are owed these things. Kennedy feels one should consider giving back what has been so generously given and to be grateful for the many blessing this country provides. Are there problems? Absolutely. Yet, we in this country get to protest, voice our complaints, and demand change. In some countries, voicing an opinion contrary to the state line, gets you jailed, tortured or killed.

“In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility – I welcome it.” I can hear the screams of ‘warmonger!’, if these immortal words were uttered by W or any other leading Conservative in the present poltical climate. Yet, Kennedy was a well educated historian who knew what he spoke of. Kennedy felt the United States did have a special role in the world and historically speaking we are obligated to live up to it.

“I’m an idealist with no illusions.” One of the many problems the left and Democrats have today is their reliance on a 1960’s way of thinking. As if policy should be made according to John Lennon’s song, Imagine. The song while perfect perfect in it’s melody, words and spirit, is as delusional as Lennon probably was at the time when he wrote it. But JFK was different. He grew up as a Greatest Generation patriot. And while we all know about his flaws and the serial womanizing, it’s hard to ignore his timeless stance on life. The above quote shows a certain maturity of his own generation along with the hope and optimism of the boomers to come.

I realize that for every one of these quotes there is an equally strong statement proclaiming his liberal tendencies. However, one must realize that, compared to today’s far left Democratic party, JFK was a Conservative (slightly right of today’s blue-dog Democrats).

I could only hope that today’s Democrats would realize the fact that extreme liberal policies are proven failures in all historical contexts. Although, I am not so optimistic.

The party of my Great Grandfather died with JFK.

Sorry Pop, I don’t see the party returning to the Leadership for the 60’s…..though the Leadership is needed now. Conservatives, regardless of Party, speak out about the atrocities happening in Washington. As you stand silent, conforming to a parties ideals, you condemn America into failure.

Talk to the single working moms who had their high-paying jobs shipped overseas, working twice as hard for half the money, desperately trying to keep their families together.

Talk to the still-unemployed, skilled people who have worked all their lives, want to work, who can barely find jobs as gas station attendants.

It is only then that you might, possibly (if you are, in fact capable of a rare moment of intellectual honesty) understand just how catastrophically, non-plugged in, inane and insulting that statement was to hurting American workers, those employed, and those who are desperately trying to find work in this economy.

Of all the statistics pouring into the White House every day, top economic adviser Larry Summers highlighted one Friday to make his case that theeconomic free-fallhas ended. 

The number of peoplesearchingfor the term “economic depression” on Google is down to normal levels, Summers said.

 Searches for the term were up four-fold when the recession deepened in the earlier part of the year, and the recent shift goes to show consumer confidence is higher, Summers told the Peterson Institute for International Economics.

 Summers continued the administration’s push-back against critics of President Barack Obama’s handling of the recession, defending theeconomic stimulus packageagainstRepublicanswho have tried to paint the program as a failure because it hasn’t stemmed the unemployment rate.

 “We pledged at the time the Recovery Act became law that some of the spending and tax effects would begin almost immediately.,” Summers said in prepared remarks. “We also noted that the impact of the Recovery Act would build up over time, peaking during 2010 with about 70 percent of the total stimulus provided in the first 18 months. Now, five months after the passage, we are on track to meet that timeline. “

 Summers rattled off a list of accomplishments of thestimulus package:

 “More than $43 billion in immediate tax relief has reachedhouseholdsand businesses. Another $64 billion has been channeled into the economy through aid to state and local governments, expansions in social programs, and spending on education,housing, and transportation projects. In addition to the amount that has already been paid out, another $120 billion in spending has been obligated by the federal government and is on track to begin working its way into the economy.”

On January 21st, 2009, his very first day in office, Barack Obama implemented and signed into law Executive Order 13489. For those of you who can’t take the time to read it. here is the section that applies:“Sec.2 Notice Of Intent To Disclose Presidential Records.When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records  pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines providied by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege.”

Now for all of you who commented on our previous articles that we were no more that right-wing nut jobs, that this thing about Obama’s birth certificate was a non-issue, and those of you who tried to shift the focus of the stories, doesn’t this strike you as just a little odd?

That the first order of business Obama took care of on day one of his Presidency was to sign off on an Executive Order that states that only the records he chooses to be made public will be released?

This is the subject that was at the absolute top of his agenda?

If this isn’t proof that Obama is hiding something, I don’t know what is.

Health Care is enormously expensive, and so long as the for-profit motive exists within it, it will be. After all, few products could compete with the sheer extortion power of life or death.

Government aims to protect and preserve profit industries within the health care system, naturally, they always seem to aim wrong. We should make them collect taxes by hand so they will remember who they serve. I suspect the face-to-face transfers of cash have a lot to do with why industry is the darlings of our tax-paid politicians.

As government begins to address the system in its own perverted little way, it seems to me reasonable to expect that before they extend benefits to any non-citizen, there should be a requirement that all citizens are covered 100% first.

I understand the arguments that immigrants pay taxes, but citizens have paid taxes all their lives and have a righteous and moral claim to the benefits of that accrued investment before government practices another good-guy give-away.

Hayworth sounded stunned that Cook’s deployment had been cancelled, “rather than the Department of Defense taking up and saying, well, here is the eligibility of the commander.” Like Sean Hannity, he opted for Taitz’s version of the story over CentCom’s, telling listeners that the result “certainly could be characterized as a victory for Maj. Cook and Dr. Orly Taitz.” And he closed the interview by sympathetically asking Taitz if she feared “an atmosphere of intimidation” coming at her from the White House.
