DANA POINT, CA – August 15, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – ePunk, Inc., (PINK SHEETS:PUNK.pk) a company specializing in the distribution of on and off-road vehicles, parts and accessories, is pleased to announce the opening of its first retail location in Dana Point, a prominent area of Orange County, California.

PCH Rides (Pacific Coast Highway Rides) is optimally located in a historic building on the Pacific Coast Highway in the high traffic district of Dana Point, California. With no current competition in the vicinity, the store intends to capitalize on exposure to roughly 55,000 commuters per day as well as prolific foot traffic from tourists and residents.

Jesse Gonzales, President and CEO of ePunk, Inc. said this of the new location, “Considering that, heretofore, we have been primarily an Internet based sales company, this location is a great opportunity for us to have a home base for operations. Known for its high tourist visitation and affluent community, Dana Point is the perfect place for PCH Rides to sell its selection of high-end recreational vehicles such as eco-friendly gas powered bikes and scooters, including a line of BMS scooters customized specifically for this higher-end market; as well as electric and non-electric bicycles. Also, with thousands of beach city tourists every year, PCH Rides offers rentals of these boutique vehicles to capture customers among short-term visitors and tourists.”

PCH Rides also offers a specialized array of inventory with a self dedicated e-commerce website to support its local mission via www.PCHRides.com. An aggressive social media campaign has begun branding the new location and product line within the community of Dana Point as well as Southern California city culture.

In addition to the retail business, which is estimated to net over 1 million in revenue in the first 12 months of operation, PCH Rides stands to serve as corporate headquarters for ePunk, Inc. and its various businesses, www.CountyImports.com, www.CountyCruisers.com, www.CountyImportParts.com, www.ViperSportUSA.com, www.BidPunk.com and coming soon www.PCHRides.com.

About ePunk:

ePunk, Inc. is a conglomerate of six businesses: www.BidPunk.com, www.CountyImports.com, www.CountyImportParts.com, www.CountyCruisers.com, www.ViperSportUSA.com and most recently, PCH Rides.

Capitalizing on its vast network of distributor and dealer contacts, ePunk has leveraged it relationships to uniquely target different demands within the industry via individual businesses, each serving a specific niche with carefully selected products and branding specific to that market.

The automatic fulfillment system that made CountyImports.com a success in a matter of months has been expanded to help each business focus on marketing, customer service and quality guarantee, rather than the costly labor of managing of inventory, shipping and handling.

By using this automated fulfillment system for each e-commerce website, ePunk has been able to eliminate overlap in overhead costs to allow each business to focus specifically on increasing sales and revenue.

Through various relationships with foreign manufacturers, ePunk is bringing to market several unique and affordable products that the competition is unable to match, both in quality and price. While years of expedited fulfillment on a vast array of competitively priced products has built the company a large customer base, these imported products stand to make ePunk a market leader within this industry.

Most recently, ePunk, Inc. opened its first physical retail location in Dana Point, California called PCH Rides. The retail store offers a wide selection of boutique products, available for sale or rent and specifically designed for a higher-end market and strategically placed in area with no current competition. The location will also serve as corporate headquarters for ePunk, Inc. and its various businesses.

JINHUA, CHINA – July 19, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp. (NASDAQ: KNDI), today announced it has received authorization from its board of directors for a share repurchase program under which the Company may acquire up to $5 million of Kandi’s outstanding common shares from time to time over the next 18 months.

The board of directors for China’s leading supplier of off-road vehicles and developer of pure electric vehicles (EV) approved the buyback program at its most recent meeting. Kandi Technologies said the buyback authorization allows the Company to purchase common stock in open-market transactions in compliance with applicable federal securities regulations, including Rule 10b-18, over the next 18 months. Kandi Technologies reported 27,433,934 shares of voting common stock outstanding as of March 25, 2011. Any repurchases of Kandi shares will be made on the open market at prevailing market prices or in block trades and subject to market restrictions and market conditions relating to volume, price and timing. Kandi Technologies plans to fund repurchases from its available cash balance.

“This decision reflects the board’s confidence in the underlying value of Kandi Technologies,” said Mr. Xiaoming Hu, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Kandi Technologies. “We believe our recent electric vehicle partnerships and ‘Express Change’ technology, coupled with our legacy off-road vehicle success, indicate a higher value for Kandi than is currently reflected in our share price.”

The number of ATV vehicles sold each year continues to climb along with the power and size of these recreational vehicles. Each year over 100,000 emergency room visits are the direct result of an ATV accidents, according to The Consumer Product Safety Commission. Of those 100,000 reported ER visits, over 30,000 of those are injuries to children under the age of 16. Here are some tips to help prevent injuries and protect your children while enjoying this popular recreation.

-Attend an ATV driver’s safety course. Most of these courses are offered for free and can help lower your ATV insurance policy rate.

-Do not ride or use a 3-wheeler. Not only are 3-wheelers unstable but they are no longer made.

-Do not allow children under 16 years of age to operate a full size ATV.

-Never allow children to operate an ATV without adult supervision.

-Resist the temptation to allow another passenger to ride along with you. ATVs are meant to carry only one rider.

-Only drive ATVs off streets.

-Never drive an ATV after dark or dusk.

-Wear the proper clothing while operating an ATV such as closed-toe shoes, long-sleeved shirts, pants, goggles and a helmet.

-Never consume alcoholic beverages while operating an ATV.

-Be sure to get insurance policy on any ATV before allowing anyone to operate your recreational vehicle.

AKRAPOVIC, a company well known for its line of metric and dirt bike performance exhausts, has announced a move into Harley-Davidson exhausts.

To mark the new venture, the company has also commissioned a custom show bike, the first ever such machine from the manufacturer, called the Morsus.

“We decided to build this machine with our partners, Dreamachine Motorcycles, here in Slovenia, to demonstrate that whilst we are known for our racing prowess, we have such a breadth and depth of in-house talent that entering the competitive world of custom bikes is a natural extension to what we do,” said Neil Morley, Marketing Director. “The Morsus hopefully demonstrates our talent and is a statement of intent.”

The S&S 113ci-engined Morsus rolls on 26 x 3.5in carbon/ aluminum wheels and uses Showa USD forks and a Fox rear shock. Naturally, the exhaust is a Akrapovic custom titanium modified by Dreamachine Motorcycles and the shop also modified an Akrapovic carbon end cap to work as an air filter.

The Morsus bike can be seen this August 7-10 in Sturgis as it has been entered into the World Championship of Custom Bike Building.

The line of exhausts being created by Akrapovic for use on Harley-Davidson models features mufflers with a unique outer sleeve design, which morphs from standard conical tube into tapered rectangle.

The systems, for the Sportster, Touring, Dyna and Softail ranges, will be available as Open or Slip-On versions.

“The Akrapovic range is firmly targeted at those Harley riders who seek a bit more exclusivity,” says Akrapovic Product Manager, Thomas Friedrich, “riders who appreciate fine European craftsmanship, outstanding performance, design and of course the unmistakable deep resonant sound of Akrapovic.”

The Open systems do not use a simple baffle, rather they are fitted with Akrapovic’s ‘real silencer’ and an optional insert is available to allow adjustment of the sound level. The Open systems include headers, silencer and heat shield.

The Akrapovic Slip-Ons offer full EC noise and emission homologation with a removable catalytic converter for markets where appropriate.

The Slip-Ons offer an optional ‘Valve System’ enabling the user to adjust the sound level with a simple switch. In addition, users can mix and match the looks of the modular system by changing end caps, or add a Noise Reduction insert.

That’s a good, positive message for motorists traveling on highways and roads, that, in man cases, should never have been built in the first place. Unfortunately, zillions of American motorists put the pedal-to-the-metal and hammer any and all wildlife that attempts to share the right-of-way. I gave up keeping track of just the species of birds I found as roadkill victims in Pennsylvania after reaching the 67-species mark in the late 90s.

courtesy of a joint development effort from Troy Lee and ODI Grips.

“We’ve worked a lot of hours to design a slim, comfortable grip that goes
beyond the traditional thinking of a half-waffle grip,” said Kevin Stevens,
powersports sales and marketing manager at ODI. “We started with a new mountain
bike grip last year and adapted that to the abuse that a motocross rider takes
on the track. We’ve managed to keep a slim feel to eliminate arm pump while
offering an extreme amount of traction with the directional stepped diamond
pattern.”

“I ran these grips a few weeks ago in a mud race at Glen Helen and was
surprised at how much traction I had,” added Troy Lee. “ODI’s compounds feel
great, and I never had to worry about my hands slipping off the grips in the wet
weather.”

Christian Craig is using the new grips in the Outdoor National series.

JINHUA, CHINA – June 16, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp

JINHUA, CHINA – June 16, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp. (Nasdaq: KNDI), a leading Chinese supplier of off-road vehicles and developer of pure electric vehicles (EV), today reported a further strengthening of its relationship with State Grid Corporation following a recent visit from Mr. Liang Nie, general manager of Dayou Technology Development Company to Kandi’s facilities. The Dayou Technology Development Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of State Grid Corporation responsible for the development and operation of battery charging and changing facilities in the city of Hangzhou.

Mr. Nie toured the Kandi facility and test drove Kandi EVs that use Kandi’s “Express Change” battery model. During the facility tour, Mr. Nie spoke with Mr. Xiaoming Hu, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Kandi Technologies, about enhancing cooperation with State Grid and the further development of the “Express Change” battery model. The two discussed the plans for 20,000 electric cars on the road in Hangzhou by the end of 2012. Mr. Nie strongly encouraged Kandi to pursue its development plan and efforts to achieve a significant share of the market in Hangzhou.

“I am confident that this goal is attainable and that Kandi can gain a significant share of the growing Hangzhou market,” said Mr. Hu. “The close cooperation between Kandi and Dayou Technology will provide great contributions to the progression of the electric vehicle industry, which will be bolstered by Hangzhou’s plan to reach 20,000 EVs on the road.”

About Dayou Technology Development Company

Dayou Technology Development Company (“Dayou”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hangzhou electric power company of China State Grid Corp, is located at Hangzhou High-tech Park. It is an innovative technology company that combines technology, industry and trade in one organization. The company has been committed to the development of technology that enlightens and empowers electric power users. Hangzhou’s municipal plan to open a market for 20,000 household electric vehicles by the end of 2012 is being organized and executed by Dayou.

About Kandi Technologies, Corp.

Kandi Technologies, Corp. (Nasdaq: KNDI) is a manufacturer and exporter of a variety of vehicles in China, making it a world leader in the production of popular off-road vehicles (ORVs). It also ranks among the leading manufacturers in China of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), specialized utility vehicles (UTVs), and a recently introduced second-generation high mileage, two-seat three-wheeled motorcycle. Another major company focus has been on the manufacture and sale of the COCO electric vehicle (EV), a highly economical, beautifully designed, all-electric super mini-car for neighborhood driving and commuting. The convertible and hardtop models of the COCO EV are available in the United States and other countries, while the Chinese government has approved the sale of Kandi EVs in China since 2010. The Company’s products can be viewed at http://www.kandivehicle.com and its corporate website is http://www.chinakandi.com.

“Express Change” Business Model

Kandi’s work with its partners in Jinhua – State Grid Corporation, China’s largest power company, and Tianneng Power International, China’s leading battery maker – creates China’s first EV battery replacement services company. This innovative agreement allows purchasers of Kandi EVs to have easy access to multiple, readily accessible battery changing stations throughout the city, eliminating concerns about limited driving range and battery maintenance. By having batteries available on a rental basis, rather than purchasing them with the vehicles, the consumer cost of a new EV is also substantially reduced.

The completion by State Grid Corporation of the battery charging and express change stations in Hangzhou and Jinhua enables drivers to exchange their batteries in a matter of minutes in professionally managed battery service centers. The express change service centers will also follow standard procedures for reusing and recycling depleted batteries, eliminating potential pollution caused by used battery waste. Kandi’s innovative EV market opportunity will not only help protect the environment, but will also address the frequently cited obstacles to widespread consumer adoption of pure EVs: high price, low driving range, long charging times, inadequate charging equipment and proper battery recycling.

JINHUA, CHINA – June 15, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp

JINHUA, CHINA – June 15, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp. (Nasdaq: KNDI), a leading Chinese supplier of off-road vehicles and developer of pure electric vehicles (EV), today reported that the company has received formal provincial government approval on the application of the new energy vehicle pilot program in Jinhua City, located in the Zhejiang Province. The formal approval, received on June 13, 2011, provides RMB 15 million ($2.3 million U.S.) per year in government subsidies to residents of Jinhua to be used for the purchase of 3,000 Kandi clean energy vehicles through 2012.

The pilot program in Jinhua uses Kandi’s KD5010 electric vehicles to promote household use of electric vehicles using the “Express Change” battery model. Each Kandi car sold will be eligible to receive local government subsidies made possible through the pilot program. Kandi expects the average sale price of their KD5010 pure electric model (without battery), currently about RMB 39,800 ($6,100 U.S.), to decrease by more than 50 percent with the subsidies from provincial and city governments. The KD5010 model, tested and approved by the Chinese government, operates on a new-generation lead-acid battery.

The “Express Change” battery business model provides a cheap and effective alternative to the standard refueling of gasoline-powered vehicles. The business model effectively integrates the car manufacturer, battery maker and charging and replacement partner to provide car production/distribution, battery production, charging and express change facility, and battery service and maintenance.

Barrier beaches are presently managed under the organizing principles of the Endangered Species Act. So town, state and federal agencies must do what they can to protect endangered species wherever they happen to land and start building nests. They must often kill other predator species to protect endangered species and inconvenience ORV users who want to use the beach.

If the prime organizing principle was to protect the beach rather than the things on the beach, officials would be able to do things like planting grass to build up parts of the beach close to trailhaeds susceptible to erosion while encouraging endangered species to nest near the ends of barrier beaches which should be allowed to rollover naturally.

JINHUA, CHINA – May 16, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp.

JINHUA, CHINA – May 16, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp. (Nasdaq: KNDI), a leading Chinese supplier of off-road vehicles and developer of pure electric vehicles (EV), today reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011.

First Quarter 2011 Financial Highlights:

Revenues increased modestly to $8.3 million from $8.2 million with continued growth in ATV and go-kart sales

Operating income increased to $0.8 million, from breakeven operating results in the first quarter of 2010, while gross margin increased by 2.3%

Net income totaled $5.9 million, or $0.20 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $0.2 million, or $0.01 per diluted share in the same period last year. The non-GAAP adjusted net income (described below) grew by 9.9% as compared to first quarter 2010

Working capital surplus of $20.2 million at quarter end, an improvement from a working capital deficit of $1.7 million at the end of the first quarter 2010

Cash and cash equivalents (including restricted cash) totaled $34.5 million at quarter-end, which equates to $1.19 per fully diluted share, a significant increase from $25.2 million at the end of 2010

“We remain excited with the growth from our traditional off-road products as our legacy business continues to recover, and continue our optimism about achieving a leading role in China EV development,” said Mr. Xiaoming Hu, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Kandi Technologies. ”Our pure electric vehicles continue to be a priority as we expand sales of our vehicles in China, and globally, to meet emerging demand. In the first quarter, we have showcased our EVs through the newly established showroom in Hangzhou and have started to execute our pilot ‘Express Change’ model in Jinhua.”

During the quarter, the Company spent $7.0 million of its sharply increased working capital on new fixed assets to build production capability, which will increase capacity and support EV demand.

“With respect to EV sales outside of China,” said Mr. Hu, “we remain focused on the European market, where we announced a strategic agreement and an initial order of 1,000 Kandi EVs in Italy during the quarter, and believe this will be a cornerstone to increasing sales in Europe.”

First Quarter 2011 Results

Revenues for the quarter increased by 1.1%, to $8.3 million, from $8.2 million in 2010. The modestly improved results reflected the continued recovery of the Company’s traditional off-road vehicle market, led by year-over-year increases of 41% in ATV sales and 31% in go-kart sales. Sales of super-mini vehicles experienced a 38.5% decline from the same period of 2010, due primarily to the shift of focus on EV development in China and build out of the “Express Change” infrastructure during the quarter, as the Company’s primary focus in the period was building a foundation for future sales in the China EV market.

Gross profit increased to $2.1 million in 2011, up from $1.9 million in the first quarter of 2010. Gross margin for the quarter increased by 230 basis points to 24.7 percent, from 22.4 percent in the prior year, as a result of increased operational efficiencies and successfully managed manufacturing costs. These carefully managed expenses allowed the Company’s operating income to increase to $0.8 million in 2011, compared to breakeven operating results in the first quarter of 2010.

Total interest and other income increased to $5.2 million in the first quarter of 2011, compared to total interest and other expense of $0.1 million in the prior year. The significant change in total interest and other income for the quarter primarily reflected the changes in fair value of warrants issued to investors and placement agents and the changes of fair value of conversion features embedded in convertible notes. The Company’s net income totaled $5.9 million for the quarter, or $0.20 per fully diluted share, as compared with a net loss of $0.2 million, or $0.01 per fully diluted share, for the same period of 2010. Without the convertible notes, warrant and option related charges, the non-GAAP adjusted net income totaled $0.7 million, as compared to $0.6 million in the same period 2010, an increase of 9.9%.

At the end of the quarter, the Company had a working capital surplus of $20.2 million, a significant improvement from a working capital deficit of $1.7 million at the same time last year. The increase in working capital was primarily due to the Company’s equity offering in December 2010. For the quarter ended March 31, 2011, cash used by operating activities totaled $9.4 million, compared with cash provided by operating activities of $1.0 million in 2010. The change in net operating cash flow was mainly due to increases in pre-payments and pre-paid expenses associated with manufacturing payments to suppliers.

First Quarter 2011 Operational Highlights:

Announcement of super-mini electric vehicle “Test Drive Days” in Jinhua City

New products and COCO electric vehicle showcased at the 2011 Dealernews International Dealer Expo®

Italian order received for pure electric vehicles, with material progress made towards delivery

New lithium-ion electric vehicle unveiled at Hangzhou’s First New Energy Vehicle Showroom, and is now available for sale

Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province visited Kandi Technologies’ facilities

“Kandi continues to make great strides on EV development in China as we maintain a solid U.S. presence in go-karts and specialized EV products. The firstquarter is our transition quarter, and we expect to increase sales of our products in the latter part of the year. This year, Jinhua municipal city of Zhejiang Province has started a 3,000-car experimental program, which uses Kandi’s electric vehicles to promote household use of electric vehicles using the “Express Change” battery model. Each car sold will be eligible to receive a government rebate of just over 50% of the purchase price,” said Mr. Hu. ”We have also made several important moves during the quarter to strengthen the independence of our Board and our overall business and financial reporting.”

JINHUA, CHINA – May 16, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp.

JINHUA, CHINA – May 16, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp. (Nasdaq: KNDI), a leading Chinese supplier of off-road vehicles and developer of pure electric vehicles (EV), said it published a letter to its shareholders today to provide a detailed explanation of a reporting error that does not affect reported revenues but does affect unit volumes of products reported in the Company’s 2010 Annual Report as filed on Form 10-K. In order to provide continued transparency to shareholders and other interested investors, the Company has filed a copy of the letter with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which is available at their website: http://sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1316517/000114420411029320/0001144204-11-029320-index.htm.

Kandi’s letter to shareholders addresses the error in its filing, specifically within a table outlining the unit and dollar revenue breakdown by product for 2010 and 2009. As the Company previously stated, the dollar amounts for revenues shown in that table were accurate; however the category unit numbers contained discrepancies as a result of two causes. The first was a recategorization of certain models in the 2009 unit volumes to render those numbers comparable to the 2010 unit volumes. The second cause was related to the translation from Chinese accounting standards to U.S. GAAP. Details surrounding these adjustments are included in the letter to shareholders and will be included in the subsequent amendment to the Company’s annual report on Form 10-K.

“We have taken time and great care to determine the source of this error and provide corrected unit figures to our investors,” said Xiaoming Hu, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Kandi Technologies. ”However, we wanted to be sure that the information we provided was absolutely accurate. We take our responsibility in this regard very seriously, and hope our prompt attention to this matter shows the high regard we have for the accuracy and transparency of our financial information.”

May. 12, 2011

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has permanently closed three off-road vehicle (or ORV) trails. The Green Ridge, Chandler, and Poplar Lick trails had been temporarily closed pending the results of a forest certification audit. That audit, which was completed recently, was part of the state’s effort to receive dual certification for all three western Maryland state forests—a move the DNR claims will protect the $950 million western Maryland forest products industry, and secure 9,200 jobs.

“The DNR has been looking closely at the sustainability of these ORV trails for the past few years. While it is unfortunate that these three trails must be closed, the decision is based on the results of environmental assessments conducted by the department and the results of our recent forest certification audit,” said Steven Koehn, DNR state forester.

“These trails were built and sited decades ago and long before the current trend of riders and riding machine options,” continued Koehn.

“The locations of the trails are not sustainable in their current configuration, and they cannot be reconfigured to protect the environmental features located on these lands. We came to fully understand these facts as we reviewed all of our state forest management activities in preparation for a statewide forest certification audit. We were not surprised that the forest audit confirmed these particular ORV trails were unsustainable.”

Green Ridge trail is part of the Green Ridge State Forest; Poplar Lick trail is in the Savage River State Forest; and Chandler trail winds through the Pocomoke River State Forest. Walk-in access will still be permitted, including walk-in camping at Green Ridge and Poplar Lick trail camping areas.

The Green Ridge trail vehicle-access closure is effective in all sections of that trail, including the portion formerly open to licensed on-road vehicles.

“While it is unfortunate that these three trails must be closed, to do otherwise would be irresponsible,” said John Griffin, DNR secretary.

“The good news is that this process has brought to light the need for us to more actively engage with the ORV community. Input from several hundred stakeholders has underscored the fact that this important community of outdoor enthusiasts deserves the opportunity to ride and is prepared to do so responsibly in partnership with DNR.”

The DNR has stated that it recognizes ORV trails and riders as an important part of the Maryland outdoor recreation community and has pledged to identify new and improved trail locations.

Such options include several privately owned sites with “ready to ride” trail systems in place that could be purchased or leased by DNR, and/or its partners, to provide public ORV trail access. The DNR is also considering several existing public land locations for inclusion in this new trail evaluation process.

JINHUA, CHINA – May 9, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp.

JINHUA, CHINA – May 9, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Kandi Technologies, Corp. (Nasdaq: KNDI), a leading Chinese supplier of off-road vehicles and developer of pure electric vehicles (EV), said it issued an open letter to its shareholders to refute a recent web-based article and its inaccurate allegations. In order to provide continued transparency to shareholders and other interested investors, the Company has filed a copy of the letter with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which is available at their website: http://sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1316517/000114420411026983/0001144204-11-026983-index.htm

Kandi’s letter to shareholders addresses the inaccuracies of an online article released last week, and provides a detailed response to the questions raised. Kandi reiterates that the article is incorrect and reflects a general lack of understanding of the Company’s business. Importantly, the Company emphasized that its financial information regarding revenues as filed with the SEC in its annual reports on Form 10-K is accurate and the Company is taking steps to ensure its filings continue to meet the high standards of accuracy and transparency investors have come to expect.

“We take our fiduciary duty to shareholders and all stakeholders very seriously, and the conclusion reached by this website in no way reflects the current business of Kandi Technologies,” said Xiaoming Hu, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Kandi Technologies. ”In fact, Kandi has made great strides on our EV business in China, we continue to have a solid U.S. presence in go-karts and specialized EV products, and we have made several important moves to strengthen the independence of our Board and our overall corporate governance, including the hiring just last week of a ‘big four’ professional firm to ensure we have a third-party perspective on our business and financial reporting.”

“Our vision is to accelerate profitable sales growth for GEM, by combining Polaris’ strength in new product innovation with the most-recognized brand in the low speed vehicle market space,” said Mike Jonikas, vice president of the On-Road Vehicle Division. “These new product efforts for GEM will be supported by an expanded distribution presence within select domestic and international markets.”

The agreement to acquire GEM will officially close within the next 60 days once Polaris secures the required state sales certifications to sell GEM products. During this interim period, since Polaris will not yet have officially acquired GEM, operations will proceed as usual and Polaris will continue to learn and understand the GEM business through information exchange. Following this interim period, Polaris will be in a position to outline specific plans for the GEM business.
