Anyway, round 61 was a nightmare. The yeast was horrible. The high dose of OLE caused more yeast than I could manage. We stopped the round early Sunday. She is much better now. I found some raw organic apple cider vinegar at Bulk Barn and have been putting it in her Apple juice! It’s really helping with yeast and making her gut more alkaline.

I am also morphing her back onto the gf diet. Uggh. Don’t want to at all, but David wants this. Clara will be gf for the most part too.

Hoje, não poderíamos começar melhor: Bati um papo com Alceu, que toca um projeto intitulado “Futebol de Rua”, em Heliópolis, zona sul de SP. O projeto é maravilhoso e faz nossos pequenos brasileiros passarem tardes felizes e produtivas fazendo o que tem mais talento pra fazer e aprendendo a se relacionar e agir com “Fair Play” – Vejam o vídeo:

O Futebol de Rua é todo articulado no dito “freestyle”, improviso com a bola no pé, sem permissão de fazer falta senão fica fora dois minutos e com um conceito de “não-regras” muito interessante!! Salve a anarquia bem articulada!!!

Conheci o Alceu durante a “Virada Esportiva” aqui em SP, quando eu ainda estava trabalhando no Programa Novo da Tv Cultura.. batemos uma bola juntos, gravamos matéria e trocamos contatos!!

Alceu:  Salve Bola e Arte !!!  

Meu nome é Alceu de Campos Natal Neto, um apaixonado pelos esportes e especialmente pelo futebol. Desde cedo correndo atrás da bola, seja no futsal, seja no campo, na várzea, o importante era bater uma bola.

Sempre fui apaixonado pelo futebol arte e como não podia deixar de ser, na eliminação da seleção de 82 na Copa, quebrei 2 vidros em casa de raiva, incrédulo, é o fim do futebol arte…..

Em 2005, resolvi escrever um projeto cuja finalidade seria um futebol bonito, com dribles, livre, alegre, tipo nós quando eramos moleques e jogávamos na rua, tabelando com as paredes, com a kombi estacionada, driblando os postes e assim nasceu o Futebol de Rua !!!

Esse projeto tornou-se realidade no ano de 2006 com a fundação da ONG Futebol de Rua e a implantação do primeiro núcleo na Comunidade de Heliópolis, em São Paulo.

Alceu: Bom, os meninos do vídeo estão conosco desde a abertura do núcleo em Heliópolis e entenderam bem o espírito do Futebol de Rua, dos dribles, não fazer falta e também são habilidosos, dando altos dribles na molecada lá.

O Fair Play no Futebol de Rua é o jogue e deixe jogar, não pode fazer falta, deixar o jogo bonito corrrer solto e quem fizer está 2 minutos fora e se reincidir, fica fora da partida.  Se tomar um drible falamos para dar outro melhor, inventa, criem dribles novos, improvisem, o importante é o olé, a jogada bonita, um drible com uma assistência, enfim, o futebol arte, bom para quem joga e lindo para quem assiste!!!

Esse é o Fair Play do Futebol de Rua !!!

 

CarlosCarlos Bola e Arte: Vc se surpreende com o talento da meninada que faz parte do Projeto Futebol de Rua?? Aparecem muitos interessados?? 

Alceu: Pô, CarlosCarlos, me surpreendo e muito !!! Por darmos total liberdade para eles criarem, se divertirem jogando bola, a cada treino eles nos surpreendem, nos fazem dar boas risadas !!!  Temos uma parte durante o treino que se chama “Momento FreeStyle”, onde durante 10 a 15 minutos, com vários tipos de bolas (tênis, golf, de meia, de vôlei, etc….), eles ficam fazendo embaixadinhas e malabarismos, seja sozinho, seja em rodas de alunos, o importante é estar ali deixando a criatividade fluir.  Você teve a oportunidade de acompanhar alguns alunos na Virada Esportiva desse ano e pode ver os meninos se apresentando felizes da vida !!!

Alunos interessados sempre aparecem Carlos, se tivessemos a possibilidade de abrirmos mais núcleos, com certeza lotaríamos de alunos, contudo não temos professores/voluntários suficientes para suprir essa necessidade. Em Heliópolis estamos lotados e sempre tem novos alunos esperando vagas.

Com relação ao interesse para patrocinar/colaborar com o projeto, infelizmente não, Carlos. Hoje o Futebol de Rua vive literalmente das suas próprias pernas, de apresentações que fazemos, de Clínicas que damos, enfim, estamos na correria, mas ainda é pouco para podermos remunerar merecidamente todos os nossos profissionais envolvidos no projeto.  Escrevemos a Lei de Incentivo ao Esporte esse ano e estamos no aguardo dela ser aprovada no Ministério dos Esportes.

 

CarlosCarlos Bola e Arte: Nos âmbitos profissionais do futebol vemos cada vez menos espaço pro chamado Futebol-Arte. Porque isso vem acontecendo?? Vc acredita que hoje em dia os atletas-mirins são orientados desde cedo a não ousar??

Alceu: Hoje o futebol profissional é muita transpiração e pouquíssima inspiração. A força física praticamente consegue anular a técnica de um grande jogador nos jogos profissionais. Tanto que nos times de hoje, 99% jogam com 1 meia armador e 2 volantes!!?? Assim é facil de se marcar, o adversário tem 2 volantes, 3 zagueiros e um arsenal de faltas para parar aquele que brilha no espetáculo da bola. Os meias habilidosos estão cada vez mais escasos, o camisa 10 sumiu….

Acredito sim que desde as categorias de base hoje há cobrança para marcar, passar a bola rápido sem driblar, tocar rápido para não receber a falta ou perdê-la. Os meninos até tentam driblar, mas quando perdem a bola já ouvem que armaram um contra ataque, ou a perda da bola originou o gol ou a derrota do time e é assim que eles relacionam o drible desde cedo e aos poucos o drible vem morrendo, dando espaço aos chutões.

No Futebol de Rua queremos ver só camisas 10 em campo !!!

 

CarlosCarlos Bola e Arte: O que vc acha de marcadores que intimidam por palavras e violência os dribladores de praticarem lances e dribles bonitos?? 

Alceu: Ainda tem muitos por aí, desde a várzea até o profissional, mas esses valentões não estão com nada, geralmente são aqueles ruins de bola que ou correm muito ou batem muito. No profissional, com a TV cada vez com mais recursos tecnológicos isso está fadado a acabar, mas a lenda existirá sempre.

A resposta para esses valentões caneludos são os dribles, os olés, até causar a expulsão deles de campo.

 

CarlosCarlos Bola e Arte: Fale sobre os princípios de “não-regras” do Futebol de Rua. Existe um lado anárquico no futebol??

Alceu: Somos movidos a regras diariamente Carlos, isso pode, aquilo não pode……o futebol com milhões de regras, câmeras vendo tudo e mesmo assim árbitros fazendo barbaridades em campo, as regras existem mas depende para quem ela é válida, no futebol profissional, nem todos são iguais….

Com certeza temos o lado anárquico do FdR (Futebol de Rua), o não as regras, as barreiras, no FdR todos são iguais e ganha o mais habilidoso na quadra e todos que estão assistindo fora dela. Mas implícito nesse principio de não ter regras é que entram os valores, o respeito em levar o drible e dar outro, a alegria, a amizade entre jogadores, professores e o mais legal é que os próprios alunos ensinam os dribles e truques uns aos outros.

 

CarlosCarlos Bola e Arte: Vc tem uma jogada preferida no chamado Futebol de Rua??

Alceu: Pô, CarlosCarlos, é dificil dizer uma jogada somente, é injusto, os dribles em geral me deixam muito feliz, me fazem dar risada, na verdade adoro o chamado moleque abusado, aquele que pega a bola e já parte pra cima com uma série de dribles, caneta, carretilha, etc…. gosto também de ver aquelas jogadas que o time inteiro participa, com dribles e belos toques e assistências…..e acho lindo mesmo a bicicleta !!!  Vixi, vou parar por aqui senão vou longe……

 

CarlosCarlos Bola e Arte: Quase todo menino no Brasil carrega ou carregou o sonho de ser jogador profissional. Isso aconteceu com vc também?? Ou com o seu filho (se for pai)??

Alceu: Com certeza Carlos, quando moleque meu sonho era ser jogador de futebol profissional, sonhava em entrar nos estádios cheios, com a torcida lotada…. quem não sonhou em jogar no Maracanã lotado, fazer um golaço e correr pra torcida ??!!

Mas é isso que passamos para a molecada dos nossos projetos, não estamos aqui revelando talentos, mas sim criando cidadãos, nossos alunos tem que estar matriculados nas escolas, com boas notas e frequência na sala de aula. Os que se destacam encaminhamos aos “profissionais da bola”.

CarlosCarlos Bola e Arte: Brasil = Futebol ou Futebol = Brasil??

Futebol=Brasil.  Sem dúvida somos os melhores do mundo, com mestrado dentro dos gramados, jorrando craques todos os dias nos campos espalhados pelo país, mas ainda analfabetos fora dos gramados, nulos administrativamente. Somos profissionais somente com a bola no pé, carecemos de profissionais do futebol dentro dos times, gerindo-os, são quebra galhos que dirigem nossos times, os verdadeiros cartolas.

Quando verdadeiros profissionais administrarem os times, eles arrecadarão “n” vezes mais, podendo investir na base, em estrutura, em mais profissionais em todos os setores, como uma verdadeira empresa.

E com certeza Futebol=Brasil, pois o Brasil tem muito mais que só o futebol e temos que dar valor as demais coisas também, como por exemplo nossas belezas naturais, a cultura rica do nosso povo de um país continental, etc…

Vida longa ao Futebol de Rua, abraxxx geral, muito obrigado,

Die therapeutschen, 100% reinen und bioligschen Essenzen von Young Living eralten eine immer wichtigere Bedeutung in der heutigen Zeit. Here is the Ku Klux Klan Protest at the University of Mississippi, pretty much in its entirety. There is plenty of great heckling throughout this video. My favorite is when a little girl says, “You are just standing there. Think of what you could be doing if you weren’t just standing there.”

The lead heckler who can be seen in the video leading the “Go to Hell, KKK” chant said at one point, “I hope a tornado destroys your trailer.” I did not get that on video though.

I am a grad student in Southern Studies at Ole Miss and I have never seen a Protest like this, except on television. I was struck by how toothless the KKK is. They are totally useless here except for being a great target for ridicule. Even the black students in attendance didn’t seem the least bit concerned and most of the people just seemed to look on as if it were a free carnival freak show.

The protest was supposed to be a silent demonstration, so it was strange to see the Klan get clearly aggitated by the taunts of the crowd and then to respond with what was clearly unrehearsed banter. At one point some one called them stupid and a guy in a red hood said, “not as stupid as you.” I thought maybe they would at least show more discipline than that. I guess not. Perhaps they thought they would get more support than they did, so they stayed there for only a few minutes.

Some students and faculty held an anti-hate counter rally that had more participants than the Klan did. The people of the school are concerned about the image this sends to the rest of the nation. But it is important to remember that none of this would be happening if there weren’t still a very strong racial sentiment at least among the alumni and undergrads that is promoted with coded language that refers to “Southern heritage” and “Tradition,” etc.

Ruby has been very social with my family. I’ve actually never seen her this social with anyone so soon. It seems natural for her. It took Monica about 2 years to get this. This is great improvement for her. I noticed yesterday after giving her chelation dose that her cheeks got red and she was sweating. I think that dose might have been a bit bigger than the other doses. She was stimming a bit more, but she was great. She was interacting, reading, talking, being affectionate, initiating play and dancing with my dad and step mother.

So, I do think higher doses help Ruby. We’re moving her up to 22.5mg of both ALA and DMSA next weekend. Ruby is 47lbs now so this is her top dose according to AC chelation protocol.

We took the girls to a park this morning. Normally, Ruby would have major issues with transitioning from the van to the park. Today, no issues at all. She got out and ran around laughing. She even climbed up onto the jungle gym stuff which she never normally does. She wanted to go down the slide, but just couldn’t bring herself to do it. She laughed when I asked her to go down, normally she would scream over something like that. She also left the park with no screaming at all. So, I am also raising her OLE on Monday. It’s obviously killing something.

it was nessisary to include an introduction to the new blog, where we will be dividing between who is to cover the different types of stories.
We will also include, a different view on different kinds of cases, deviating from the former blog. because this is currently a two-man operation, I would also like to say that it is only going to be me (Espen Dyrland), and Ole Henrik Berg ie. the former administratiors from the old site.

- We aim to have a greater dept and understanding for a post, and maybe prevent posts being childish and not of the quality we would like to present.
- Diversity in writing is also something we have to take into account, because if we traverse on the same path for quite some time, people will lose interest.

David went to the IBI assessment yesterday. It was a full day, so it was better that he went. My mom comes over every Tuesday to play with the kids. I like the predictability of her coming on Tuesdays. I had Tuesday mornings to myself in Sudbury and I miss that. So, my mom coming is great. The girls have so much fun with her. Ruby is also a different kid at home. She is sensory overloaded when we visit.

So, the IBI/ABA assessment was pretty amazing. This program is offered in a handful of cities and we are lucky enough to have found it in Windsor. I think the only reason it is in Windsor is because it is now run out of London.

Someone will be coming over to assess. Not just assess Ruby, but assess how we live and how we work with Ruby. There is a certain amount of hours for that. The therapy is then done in our home! We don’t have to take her anywhere! They also work with her in the community. We can take her shopping, to play centers, restaurants and set up playdates. The therapist comes with us! This teaches Ruby about real life rather than sitting in a cubicle all day. I am still in shock over this. Oh and get this, they even help organize birthday parties!

They will also go to the grandparents homes and work with the grandparents if they want to. They will teach them how to interact with Ruby. My mom is into this and I’m so happy about that. She will continue to come here on Tuesdays as well and we will all work with the therapist. This is all in the best interest of Ruby. This program is just amazing to me. I haven’t been to a restaurant in 5 years because Ruby cannot sit to eat in one. She doesn’t understand them. I don’t think normal families realize this stuff. We can’t just pop Ruby into the car and take her shopping, something so many take for granted.

The biggest news is Ruby is at the top of the list. So, I think she will be starting in January. They will do the first 6 weeks as fun only. No pressure and no demands placed on her. They want to make it a fun experience for Ruby and they get to know her and she will get to know and like them. After that the big work begins. I feel so good about this now. I don’t know what will happen when the program is over. I may homeschool, but that is way down the road.

David will be working in Sudbury for the summer. So having the help of my mom and the therapist will be great. I will need it. I’ll be a single mother for about 4 months. He wants to keep his job with CBC radio Sudbury, we may need to go back since there is no work here. I don’t know. Also, working in Sudbury for the summer builds up his unemployment benefits and he will be able to come back here and collect EI for a while longer while Ruby is in the program.

Ruby is still doing well with the higher dose of chelation every weekend. She is still on 1500mg of OLE, but the yeast is not good right now. That is to be expected with antivirals and chelation. We just have to treat it and deal with it.

The biggest news is Ruby is at the top of the list. So, I think she will be starting in January. They will do the first 6 weeks as fun only. No pressure and no demands placed on her. They want to make it a fun experience for Ruby and they get to know her and she will get to know and like them. After that the big work begins. I feel so good about this now. I don’t know what will happen when the program is over. I may homeschool, but that is way down the road.

David will be working in Sudbury for the summer. So having the help of my mom and the therapist will be great. I will need it. I’ll be a single mother for about 4 months. He wants to keep his job with CBC radio Sudbury, we may need to go back since there is no work here. I don’t know. Also, working in Sudbury for the summer builds up his unemployment benefits and he will be able to come back here and collect EI for a while longer while Ruby is in the program.

Ruby is still doing well with the higher dose of chelation every weekend. She is still on 1500mg of OLE, but the yeast is not good right now. That is to be expected with antivirals and chelation. We just have to treat it and deal with it.

A través de esta iniciativa en la que participan “grandes amigos” de Lolita Flores, artistas y consumidores colaboran en un proyecto solidario que, al mismo tiempo, fomenta el “consumo responsable”, con la reutilización de antiguas prensas de ropa y con una venta “más asequible” al ser de segunda mano.

En este mercadillo, que se puede encontrar en el madrileño barrio de Triball, se puede encontrar vestidos, abrigos, zapatos, conjuntos y complementos de primeras marcas, que suman más de 300 prendas antiguas, seminuevas y algunas incluso nuevas. Así, hay desde unos ’stiletto’ de Prada de Lolita, a un vestido tipo túnica negro con bordados dorados que Loles León utilizó en una de sus películas, pasando por conjuntos al más puro estilo de los noventa de Marta Sánchez, una “elegante” americana de Antonio Carmona o un “impresionante” Cabali de fiesta de Cristina Tárrega, entre otras muchas prendas.

Además, artistas como Alaska han manifestado su intención y compromiso de colaborar durante los próximos meses en el vintage, ya que, según informó la organización, esta iniciativa no será puntual y se repetirá a partir de ahora periódicamente, destinando el 10 por ciento de los beneficios a distintas ONG.

I restarted Ruby’s OLE a few weeks ago and once again she responded very well to it. I’ve decided to raise her dose to around 3000mg if I can. Right now the dose is at 1750mg. She is doing new things and just acting so ‘normal’ at times. Of course not when we’re visiting people, but that is from sensory overload. Depending on where we go. If it’s a place where she isn’t allowed to touch anything she’s usually not so great though.

So, I was going to wait until next summer for antivirals, but I think it’s time now. I do think the combo of antivirals and chelation will push her to recovery.

Future: Many will know the Larsen Brothers for their later name change to ‘The Missing Links’ who toured extensively and released an album in 1966. Ole would also go on to many other popular local bands including ’Texas’.

Past: Before ‘The Larsen Brothers’, they were called ‘Zeke and the Moonshiners’.  They were a great rowdy party band that dressed up as hillbillies and kept the crowds hollering to their crazy on stage antics.

Notes:  The Larsen Brothers were cleaned up by their management to prepare them as a band who would go out and tour in bigger venues and classy establishments. It happened, and they were loved by the audience and the club owners alike. They had full page  adds in major entertainment papers,  in major cities,  with the likes of Chuck Berry.

    The picture of the guys with the accordions was taken in the 50’s. This was the Larsens before they moved to Canada from Denmark.  The picture includes sons Fred and John with their Dad Harry Larsen. The other brother Eddy (Ole) was not in the picture playing because he was not old enough to play an instrument at that time. The young Larsen’s played European style dance for polkas. The family moved to Canada around 1958-59.

   The Larsen brothers come from a musical family. Their father was a multi-instrumentalist in Denmark for over 35 years. He played on TV, Radio, night clubs and a date as a gypsy violinist for a travelling circus.

2009 Update: I was at John Larsen’s house today to pick up photos’ from him.  We were talking with him and my good buddy Kiley (John’s son). I can assure you one thing. Even though over 44 years has past since this band formed, John is still a cool cat. He can also thank the many years of noted work with the ‘Chatham Pool Sharks’ swim team for giving him his great health today. Each member of the Larsen family has gone on to do wonderful things for the community, whether it be for the youths of today, or the adults who demanded the best in entertainment. S.Beaulieu

Se há coisa que me irrita nos espanhóis é o facto de os gajos pensarem que toda a gente compreende o que os sacanas estão a dizer mesmo quando falam a mil à hora!

Estava agora a falar com um tipo que faz conservação de portas e o sacana falava tão rápido que eu apenas compreendia o “yo” e “Oporto” quando me estava a falar de uma visita que fez a Portugal. É do catano!

No entanto estes gajos têm muitas coisas que um gajo é obrigado a gostar. Vivem as cidades (Granada está cheia de gente desde manhã até à noite), acabam de trabalhar cedo e vão tomar uma “copa” com os amigos (coisa que nós fazemos pouco), elas (principalmente elas) vestem-se todos os dias como se fossem para uma festa, têm “iphones” em todas as operadoras (a TMN não tem… sacanas da TMN), tratam toda a gente por tu, sem merdas sobre as licenciaturas ou grau académico a preceder, têm a Alhambra, o Reyna Sofia, têm um rei… e família real e o camandro e, at last but not least, têm as “tapas” que deviam constituir um crime para a rapaziada que, como eu, engorda à mínima ingestão de uma gordurita!

Nas idas e vindas sobre a possível contratação de Riquelme pelo Corinthians, o diário argentino Olé publicou nesta terça-feira que o jogador voltou a demonstrar sua intenção de continuar no Boca Juniors.

No último domingo, Mário Gobbi, diretor de futebol alvinegro, afirmou à rádio Record que o clube paulista recebeu o “sim” do meia para ouvir a proposta. Um vice-presidente do Boca já informou que o clube não tem como cobrir os altos valores sinalizados pelo Corinthians.

No entanto, além da identificação com o time de Buenos Aires, Riquelme tem um acordo verbal com a diretoria xeneize de cumprir seu contrato até junho de 2010. “Prometi isso a Pedro [Pompilio] e vou cumprir”, afirmou o camisa 10 recentemente, referindo-se ao ex-presidente do Boca, que faleceu em 2008.

Fontes do diário argentino afirmaram ainda que Riquelme reforçou o desejo de seguir no seu país, apesar da intenção dos dirigentes do Corinthians de viajar para conversar pessoalmente com o jogador.

A DIS, braço esportivo do Grupo Sonda, pretende pagar cerca de R$ 4,3 milhões ao Boca para conseguir a liberação de Riquelme. Ele receberia o mesmo valor por uma temporada.

Segundo o Olé, vários motivos pesam na análise de Riquelme. Além do acordo verbal com a diretoria, ele já manifestou algumas vezes a vontade de encerrar a carreira no Boca. E jogar no Brasil nunca foi seu sonho.

“Quando chegar o momento de renovar, Roman se ajustará ao que eles podem pagar aqui. E vai continuar”, disse uma pessoa próxima ao jogador ao diário.

Por outro lado, em dificuldades financeiras, o Boca admite negociá-lo caso o clube não se classifique à Libertadores. Enquanto não resolve seu futuro, Riquelme segue em recuperação de uma lesão no pé direito. Ele chegou a dizer que pretende voltar a campo em 15 dias, mas o retorno deve ser apenas no início de dezembro.

Anyway, we are on round 58 this weekend. I raised Ruby’s doses to 20mg. I’ve also added OLE back in at 1000mg and the screaming has stopped. I am going to get her up to 3000mg and keep her there for about 4 or 5 months. I have a feeling bacteria is the problem with Ruby’s behaviour.
So, I will continue to use this blog for Ruby’s recovery. Little stories about her progress, her supps, her chelation, her therapy and things that change. I have been in Cardiff for almost two months now. And never have I before encountered people with so many juicy quotes. I have been taking them down and writing on my facebook quote page. There is however only so much that will fit on that page, plus it might seem a bit odd if I have so many quotes from Mark all the time. So I thought a blog is a lot more subtle and funnier way to convey the hilariousity that I am surrounded with.

I’ve already encountered the weird/rude comments from people and I’ve already been ‘informed’ about vaccines…wrong information mind you, but yeah, I was told some interesting things about vaccines for kids. Not vaccinating Clara was a very big decision we had to make. We were very scared and didn’t want to take any chances of losing Clara to autism, so we opted not to vaccinate her. What happened with Ruby was devastating to us. We are fighting to get her back and I couldn’t take this chance a second time. Just for those who don’t know, mercury was ‘removed’ from vaccines in 2001. Also, it was never fully removed, there are still trace amounts of it in vaccines and the trace amounts are still higher than what’s allowed in tap water. There is also aluminum and other horrible things in vaccines, it’s not just about mercury. Doctors really don’t know what is in them, no matter how ‘God like’ you think doctors are.

Okay, I couldn’t get that off of my mind. I wish these comments hadn’t started, but it’s inevitable I guess. I was also told that it took ‘a long time’ to get Ruby’s finger prints off of their table after we left their house. Comments like that make me not want to bring Ruby back to certain houses. Was it necessary to tell me that? I felt horrible after hearing that. It’s so nerve wracking bringing Ruby to visit people that I never truly relax. People with NT kids have this easy. Ruby has been excellent at visting so far, but apparently that’s not enough. The comment really brought me down. There are other comments as well and I have decided to use another blog for this kind of thing. I am just going to try let the rude and insensitive comments pass over me, it’s not easy though.
