<title><![CDATA[Olympic Air - inspiring advertising]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>It has been a while since I wrote an inspiring advertising post, but I recently came across some really good samples of advertising that I just had to share with you.</p>
<p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_Airways">Olympic Airways</a> was the flag carrier airline of Greece and until recently a state owned national airline. The name was coined by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onassis">Aristotelis Onassis</a> in 1957, the famous Greek shipping tycoon, who bought T.A.E. Greek National Airlines from the Greek state in 1956 and decided to rename it the next year. The company developed very rapidly under Onassis&#8217; ownership and gained panhellenic recognition and acceptance. After the death of his son Alexandros in a plane crash in 1973, Onassis decided to sell all shares of Olympic Airways back to the Greek state.</p>
<p>Since then, a series of improper management decisions and growing competition from other European airlines resulted in the demise of the company and the creation of serious financial problems. In 2003, in an attempt to restructure the company, Macedonian Airlines, a subsidiary of Olympic Airways, was renamed Olympic Airlines and took over the flight operations of Olympic Airways. The old, debt-ridden company, Olympic Airways, ceized to exist.</p>
<p>The solution was temporary and unsuccessful. Olympic Airlines soon collected more debts and the company was ordered to repay 700 million Euro it received as state aid from the Greek state. With an ageing fleet, bad services and a bad punctuality record, it was only a matter of time before the company collapsed . Only its name, &#8220;Olympic&#8221;, reminded of its cosmopolitan, but nevertheless, long-gone past.</p>
<p>It, therefore, came as a surprise when <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marfin">Marfin Investment Group</a> declared an interest to buy the its flight operations and technical base in 2009. After 35 years of state ownership, <a href="http://www.olympicair.com">Olympic Air</a>, the new company name, became private again and started operations on 1 October 2009.</p>
<p>The reason I mention the history of Olympic Air is simple. After many years of improper management, Olympic Airlines was left with only with only one legacy: its glorious name. Therefore, the agency undertaking the project of creating new advertisements would have a very difficult task. Not only would they have to assure us that the company has escaped problems of the past but they would need to convince us it can compete with the other domestic and European airlines.</p>
<p>The advertisements were based on a simple, yet elegant and powerful, idea: the wishes and expectations Greeks have about Olympic Air; their inner desire to see a company, deeply rooted in the history and the traditions of Greece, succeed yet again. Three prelaunch spots were introduced in Greek TV before the official inauguration of the company &#8211; and the official launch spot &#8211; on 1 October 2009. Those spots depicted people in several recognisable locations in Greece and abroad, writing their wishes in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-it">post-it</a> notes. <p>The wishes are (in order of appearance): &#8220;Have good journeys&#8221; (man close to bridge), &#8220;You can do the best&#8221; (basketball player), &#8220;In good faith&#8221; (man in house), &#8220;I expect a lot&#8221; (man with globe), &#8220;We love you&#8221; (couple in the sea at Chania port), &#8220;Make the difference&#8221; (man in block of flats). The commercial concludes with &#8220;From the 1st of October, the new era of Olympic Air commences. (pause) Olympic Air. Greece aloft&#8221;.</p>

The commercial again concludes with &#8220;From the 1st of October, the new era of Olympic Air commences. (pause) Olympic Air. Greece aloft&#8221;.</p>

<p>The combination of the masterful locations and images, the emotional music by Evanthia Remboutsika and the feelings of expectations they create, make those spots truly remarkable.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Olympic Airlines will be ceasing operation on 28SEP09 and replaced by the new airline, which titled &#8220;Olympic Air&#8221;. </p>
<p>The full name of the new carrier is Olympic Air Anonymos Etaireia Aeroporikon Metaforon d/b/a Olympic Air.  It will be launching operation from 29SEP09 with a fleet of Airbus A319, ATR42/72 and Dash8-100/-400.  The airline will keep its &#8220;OA&#8221; flight number code.</p>
<p>All long-haul service will be cancelled as a result of the removal of Airbus A340-300 fleet.  Selected European service will also be suspended.</p>
<p>On 14SEP09, it has issued an application to the US DoT for operating licence coinciding with the change.  It will be codesharing on DELTA and Comair between US and Greece, as well as within Domestic US.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Quando ir:</span></strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"> </span>entre maio e setembro; sendo que o badalo é entre julho e metade de setembro &#8211; aí depende do que tu estás buscando. A <em>low season</em> é até o fim de junho normalmente e a partir da metade de setembro.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Como chegar lá:</span></strong> não existe vôo direto do Brasil para a Grécia; então, capricha na escolha &#8211; dá para ir via Paris, Roma, Milão, Zurich&#8230; <strong>Eu vou via Paris. Dá para ir de Tam ou de Air France e vi que, caso não se vá de milha, a Air France é mais barata que a Tam e tem horário ótimos de vôos. (obs. comprei minha ida e volta de Air France antes do fatídico acidente, mas sinceramente tô na boa com isso)</strong></p>
<p>As duas companhias aéreas mais conhecidas da Grécia são: <a href="http://www.olympicairlines.com/" target="_blank">Olympic Airlines</a> e <a href="http://www.aegeanair.com/" target="_blank">Aegean Airlines</a> &#8211; em ambas dá para comprar passagem Paris &#8211; Athenas, por exemplo; Athenas &#8211; Mykonos; Athenas &#8211; Santorini&#8230; Em ambas dá para comprar online! Eu acabei comprando os meus trechos Paris &#8211; Athenas; Athenas &#8211; Santorini e Mykonos &#8211; Paris pela Olympic Airlines.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Quais cidades/ilhas visitar:</span></strong>  Farei o básico: <strong>Athenas, Mykonos e Santorini</strong> (também conhecida como Thira).<br />
Outra coisa: Mykonos e Santorini fazem parte das Cyclades Islands- então quando tu ver essa expressão, já sabe que elas estão incluídas.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Como ir de um lugar para outro?</span></strong> Da cidade européia que tu escolheres para Athenas &#8211; vai de avião via Alitalia, Olympic, Aegean Airlines&#8230; Eu farei Paris &#8211; Athenas de Olympic Airlines. Depois de Athenas para Mykonos ou Santorini tmb se vai de de avião via Olympic ou Aegean Airlines. De Mykonos para Santorini (ou vice-versa), tem que ir de <a href="http://www.athensguide.com/ferries.html" target="_blank">Ferry Boat</a>. Acabei de<strong> comprar o ferry que vai de Santorini para Mykonos no site da <a href="http://www.hellenicseaways.gr/index.asp?a_id=80" target="_blank">Hellenic Seaways</a> - custa 41,50 euros por pessoa.</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Onde se hospedar:</span><span style="text-decoration:underline;"> </span></p>
<p>- em Athenas não tenho nenhuma dica específica, mas os hotéis <a href="http://travel.nytimes.com/travel/guides/europe/greece/athens/8247/st-george-lycabettus-hotel/hotel-detail.html">St. George Lycabettus Hotel</a> (mais de design) e <a href="http://travel.nytimes.com/travel/guides/europe/greece/athens/8251/divani-palace-acropolis/hotel-detail.html">Divani-Palace Acropolis</a> (maiorzão) me pareceram bons<strong>. Vou me hospedar no <a href="http://www.solmelia.com/solNew/home/jsp/C_Home.jsp" target="_blank">Meliá</a> que tem lá &#8211; o preço é super justo, é perto da Acrópolis e Athenas é só um pit stop na viagem!</strong></p>
<p>- Em Mykonos, apesar de ter vários hotéis legais, parece que o <a href="http://temavercomigo.wordpress.com/wp-admin/www.belvederehotel.com" target="_blank">Belvedere</a> é a melhor pedida pela localização perfeita. Já me disseram que os quartos são super pequenos, especialmente levando em conta o preço &#8211; mas que à noite é um saco estacionar no fervo de Mykonos e estando no Belvedere, tu já estás no lugar certo. A melhor tarifa que eu consegui do Belvedere foi através do próprio hotel &#8211; e é lá que eu vou ficar! Destaque também para o <a href="http://temavercomigo.wordpress.com/wp-admin/www.cavotagoo.gr/" target="_blank">Cavo Tagoo</a> e o <a href="http://www.mykonosblu.com/" target="_blank">Blu</a> que recomendaram&#8230;</p>
<p>- Em Santorini, me disseram que tem menos coisa para fazer que Mykonos &#8211; então é melhor caprichar mais no Hotel em Santorini para ficar jogado curtindo a vista e tal. Me recomendaram muito bem tanto o <a href="http://www.kirini.com/" target="_blank">Kirini</a> como o <a href="http://temavercomigo.wordpress.com/wp-admin/www.katikies.com" target="_blank">Katikies</a>, ambos são do mesmo dono e ficam em Oia&#8230; são beeeem caros! <strong>Eu vou ficar no Katikies. </strong>Os mesmos donos têm tmb o hotel <a href="http://www.sunrocks.gr/" target="_blank">Sun Rocks</a>, mais perto de Fira (em Firostefani). E eu vi uma dica no site do NY Times de um lugar chamado <a href="http://www.astra-apartments.com/" target="_blank">Astra Apartments</a>, que pareceram ser bem legais e as reviews do tripadvisor.com para esse hotel tmb são ótimas. </p>
<p>- Em Paris, eu vou me hospedar no Hotel des Saints Peres (dica da Georgiana), que fica em Saint Germain!</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">O que fazer por lá:</span></p>
<p>- Tenho dicas de Mykonos: ver <a href="http://temavercomigo.wordpress.com/2009/02/22/top-10-programinhas-em-mykonos/" target="_blank">post</a> com as dicas do donos do Belvedere e ver blog &#8220;<a href="http://omundodejujuba.blogspot.com/2009/05/os-achados-de-mykonos-restaurantes.html" target="_blank">O mundo de jujuba</a>&#8221; com dicas de restaurantes em Mykonos e quais <a href="http://omundodejujuba.blogspot.com/2009/05/praias-mykonos.html" target="_blank">praias</a> ir; dicas da seção <a href="http://temavercomigo.wordpress.com/2009/02/10/rg-vogue-travel-tips-mykonos-e-santorini/" target="_blank">Diário de Viagem da RG Vogue </a>e também segue o <a href="http://travel.nytimes.com/travel/guides/europe/greece/cyclades/mykonos/overview.html" target="_blank">link</a> do New York Times &#8211; Travel Guide. Pelo jeito em Mykonos é legal alugar carro, jeep ou motinho para ir para as diferentes praias, etc&#8230; estou levantando essa informação direito.</p>

<p>- Santorini: vou descobrir com a Leca, minha amiga querida, que sabe tudo de Santorini! <p>Главной новостью недели стало сообщение об инциденте в Подмосковье, где 24 апреля чуть не столкнулись Ту-154 “ЮТэйр” (следовавший из Москвы в Самару) и B-767 “Трансаэро”. Пилоты Ту-154 уже признались. Диспетчеру прочат государственную награду. В Росавиации <a href="http://www.avia.ru/news/?id=1242391394" target="_blank">создана</a> комиссия. А у меня вопрос: почему о происшествии сообщили лишь через три недели?</p>
<p>Ещё одна новость – <a href="http://www.vedomosti.ru/newspaper/article.shtml?2009/05/15/195658" target="_blank">потеря</a> S7 первенства на внутренних линиях. Своё место “Сибирь” уступила “Аэрофлоту” (по итогам I квартала 2009 года). Ранее “Аэрофлот” лидировал на международных линиях, но внутри страны уступал. Своё наступление на внутреннем рынке флагман российской авиации начал позже других – в конце 90-х – начале 2000-х. До этого приоритетом являлись международные перевозки, что даже отражалось в названии (“Аэрофлот – российские международные авиалинии”).</p>
<h3>Самарская авиация</h3>
<p>Блог спецпредложений 45b.ru <a href="http://www.45b.ru/posts/47" target="_blank">сообщает</a> о начале продажи билетов на рейс “ЮТэйр” по маршруту Самара-Тель-Авив (Израиль). Перелёты на самолёте Boeing-737 планируется начать 26 мая 1 раз в неделю (по вторникам).</p>
<h3>Авиация за рубежом</h3>
<p>Европейские антимонопольные органы <a href="http://www.gazeta.ru/news/business/2009/05/14/n_1361870.shtml" target="_blank">дали добро</a> на приобретение немецкой Lufthansa второго британского перевозчика BMI. Еврокомиссия заключила, что сделка не угрожает конкуренции в Европе. Видимо, у еврокомиссаров совсем плохо со зрением, если они не замечают, что под крыло Lufthansa уже попали национальные перевозчики Швейцарии и Австрии, а скоро попадут крупнейшая скандинавская компания SAS, бельгийский флагман Brussels Airlines и второй по величине британский BMI. Да ещё ведь есть второй перевозчик Испании и второй в Италии. Либо еврокомиссары планируют попустительствовать созданию трёх компаний (на базе British Airways, Air France-KLM и Lufthansa). Только вот три компании на весь ЕС – это маловато для конкурентной борьбы.</p>
<p>Объединяются не только авиакомпании, но и воздушные пространства. И речь не только о программах “открытое небо”. Совсем скоро воздушные пространства Швеции и Дании <a href="http://www.gazeta.ru/news/lenta/2009/05/15/n_1362181.shtml" target="_blank">станут</a> одним целым. Это позволит упростить процедуры, сократить дальность полётов, уменьшить расход топлива.</p>
<p>Наконец, европейские авиакомпании продолжают совершенствовать свои сайты. USA Today <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/travel/flights/2009-05-14-eu-airline-websites_N.htm" target="_blank">сообщает</a> о позитивных подвижках в этом отношении. Речь идёт о запрете указывать цены без сборов или скрывать другую важную для пассажиров информацию. Большинство европейских авиакомпаний на своих европейских сайтах “исправились”. Однако в России они продолжают рекламировать свои тарифы без учёта налогов и сборов, лишь указывая, что данные цены не учитывают сборы. Так же поступают, впрочем, и российские авиакомпании. В статье отмечены среди “плохишей” “Аэрофлот”, Emirates, Northwest, Olympic Airlines и Turkish Airlines.</p>
<p>Кстати о сборах. Своими дополнительными сборами, особенно за регистрацию багажа, славятся американские авиакомпании. Только сборы за регистрацию багажа обогатили американских перевозчиков на $1,1 миллиарда в 2008 год (в 2 раза больше, чем в 2007). Лидерами в этом отношении оказались American Airlines и US Airways. Такие прибыли вряд ли дадут повод авиакомпаниям отказаться от сборов, введённых в разгар повышения стоимости авиатоплива. От сладкого не откажутся даже при более дешёвом топливе.</p>
<p>И вот уже United и US Airways <a href="http://rickseaney.com/2009/05/15/fee-alert-united-us-airways-raise-bag-fees-except-online/" target="_blank">объявили</a> о том, что при регистрации багажа в аэропорту ставка сборов за багаж повышается на $5 за сумку. Это повышение, правда, не распространяется на тех, кто зарегистрирует багаж предварительно на сайтах компаний.</p>
<p>А вот Air Jamaica вообще <a href="http://blogs.usatoday.com/sky/2009/05/air-jamaica-a-second-bag-costs-25-but-it-wont-be-on-your-flight.html" target="_blank">поступила</a> крайне странно. За регистрацию первого места багажа на рейсах между США и островами платить не надо. А вот за вторую сумку придётся отдать $25. Но эту вторую сумку компания собирается доставить в течение 7 дней, и забрать её пассажир должен будет сам в аэропорту. Интересно, а если на островах пассажир пробудет дня 2-3? Ему потом ещё раз лететь туда, чтобы забрать свою сумку?</p>
<p>На этом фоне скандальная своими низкими ценами, многочисленными маршрутами и громкими заявлениями руководства бюджетная ирландская Ryanair <a href="http://blogs.usatoday.com/sky/2009/05/ryanair.html" target="_blank">объявила</a> о том, что собирается в ближайшем будущем полностью избавиться от стоек регистрации в аэропортах. В связи с этим пассажирам придётся регистрироваться в Интернет. Сделать это можно в течение 15 дней до вылета. Но за распечатку посадочного талона (хоть и у себя дома на своей технике) пассажиры должны будут заплатить новый сбор &#8211; £5 (Рик Сини пишет о £10). Если же пассажир не успел или не смог этого сделать, то за распечатку посадочного талона в аэропорту ему придётся выложить уже £40. И не важно, есть ли у пассажира доступ к компьютеру и принтеру в принципе.</p>
<p>А для членов программы поощрения часто летающих пассажиров American Airlines есть приятная <a href="http://rickseaney.com/2009/05/11/american-airlines-to-allow-miles-redemption-one-way/" target="_blank">новость</a>. Компания теперь позволит бронировать за мили полёт в одну сторону. Сейчас авиакомпании разрешают бронировать за мили лишь полёты туда-обратно, хотя некоторые разрешают бронирование с вылетом обратно из другого пункта.</p>
<h3>Самолёты</h3>
<p>Первый SSJ-100 <a href="http://www.avia.ru/news/?id=1242046936" target="_blank">будет поставлен</a> “Армавиа”, а не “Аэрофлоту”. Компания объясняет это тем, что первый экземпляр будет попроще в компоновке салона. А российской авиакомпании нужна отделка и оснащённость побогаче. Отговорка странная. Что мешает отделать первый самолёт так, как надо первому заказчику? Или решили на чужой авиакомпании и её пассажирах проверить надёжность машины?</p>
<p>В этой связи вот вам ссылка на очередной <a href="http://community.livejournal.com/ru_aviation/1134119.html" target="_blank">пост</a> из разряда “мочилово суперджета”. Судя по комментариям, выводы автора не безусловны, но что-то в его доводах есть такое, на что нельзя обратить внимание:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#60;…&#62; В итоге родился самолет, который прорывным ну никак не назовешь. Он на 80% сляпан из готовых частей иностранного производства. То есть, уже – машина вчерашнего дня. Интересная деталь: двери для SSJ поставляет «Боинг». За 2 миллиона долларов. А на «Туполеве» целый планер самолета за 3 миллиона делают. Корпус «Сухого Суперджета» – из металла. В то время, как «Боинг» на своем «Дримлайнере» Б-787 делает планер из сверхпрочных и сверхлегких композитов. Двигатели под крылом пресловутого «суперджета» находятся всего в 42 сантиметрах от земли (если считать от нижней кромки воздухозаборников). Так низко моторы не установлены ни на одном самолете мира. То есть, он в региональных аэропортах РФ будет всасывать в себя мусор и обломки покрытия полосы: состояние наших местных аэропортов – не идеальное. Оно и в СССР не идеальным было. Но на Ту-134 и Ту-154 двигатели располагаются не под крыльями, в хвосте, высоко от поверхности аэродрома. Хотя и в них, бывало, обломки покрытия заносило. SSJ же будет работать как пылесос. Не зря его на испытаниях возят на полосу тягачом, не позволяя рулить самому. Чтобы чего-нибудь в двигатели не всосало. Вот и получается: для этого самолета придется переделывать все региональные аэропорты РФ, вломив в это немереные миллиарды долларов. А возможно ли это? И сможет ли такой самолет летать в РФ – хотя на него уже истратили столько денег и времени? &#60;…&#62;</p>

<p>Кстати, про низкое расположение двигателей и, следовательно, плохую совместимость с российскими аэропортами писалось давно.</p>
<p>В журнале “Перронные зарисовки” очередная познавательная <a href="http://romadm.livejournal.com/30778.html" target="_blank">публикация</a> о том, откуда берётся воздух в кабине самолёта. Оказывается, воздух берётся из двигателей, после прохождения многоступенчатой системы охлаждения.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.usatoday.com/travel/flights/2009-05-11-airlines-modify-seats_N.htm" target="_blank">USA Today</a> пишет о том, что авиакомпании всё больше внимания уделяют разработкам в области авиакресел. Причём, это касается не только внедрения более комфортных и полностью раскладывающихся сидений в премиальных салонах, но и о новинках для экономных туристов. Сейчас появились разработки тонких сидений, которые позволят либо увеличить шаг кресел, либо увеличить количество кресел, установленных в салоне. Наблюдатели гадают, предпочтут ли компании предоставить большую свободу пассажирским коленям или погонятся за большей вместительностью самолётов.</p>

Aegean has already cancelled 50 flights and Olympic has cancelled 140 flights. The workers are protesting low wages and job cuts.</p>

<p>Greece on Monday transferred control of Olympic Airlines to an Athens-based investment company that has pledged to restore the loss-making flag-carrier to its glory days under its legendary founder, the shipowner Aristotle Onassis.</p>
<p>Marfin Investment Group agreed to pay €177.2m for Olympic in direct negotiations with the government, after the failure in January of an international tender to find a strategic investor.</p>
<p>MIG was chosen over Aegean Airlines, a profitable private Greek airline that last year carried more passengers than Olympic. Aegean’s last-minute bid was ruled out on competition grounds</p>
<p>“This is a one-off opportunity to rebuild a famous brand,” said a MIG spokesman. “We’re taking over Olympic without debts or liabilities.”</p>
<p>The European Commission has given the green light for MIG to acquire Olympic, ending years of disputes over illegal aid payments by successive Greek governments.</p>
<p>The Commission last year opened the way for the carrier’s privatisation by approving the write-off of more than €2.6bn in accumulated debt and suspending court action over the repayment of €850m in state aid.</p>
<p>Founded by Andreas Vgenopoulos, a flamboyant entrepreneur in the Onassis tradition, MIG has built an investment portfolio that includes a leading passenger ferry operator, a hotel chain and private hospitals in Greece, Turkey and the Balkans.</p>
<p>Its biggest shareholder is Dubai Financial Group, an investment vehicle controlled by the Gulf state.</p>
<p>Mr Vgenopoulos has poached three senior Aegean executives to run Olympic’s flight operations, ground-handling and technical base. They are expected to re-hire the majority of its 4,500-strong workforce.</p>
<p>The government will pay compensation or offer jobs elsewhere in the public sector to employees made redundant.</p>
<p>MIG will take over Olympic’s day-to-day operations from April 1, the official start of the summer tourist season, before officially taking over ownership of the airline in October.</p>
<p>The new managers face an uphill task to turn around one of the European Union’s worst-performing airlines amid a global downturn.</p>
<p>The Commission ruled as part of its settlement with Greece that Olympic’s network must shrink by 35 per cent to allow increased competition.</p>
<p>Tourist arrivals, Olympic’s main revenue source, are projected to fall this year by 15-20 per cent.</p>
<p>Olympic makes losses of around €2m a day, while its fleet has an average age of almost 15 years compared to less than two years for Aegean. Its only profitable routes are to Greek islands that qualify for a public service subsidy from Brussels.</p>
<p>Mr Vgenopoulos declined to give details of MIG’s business plan, but associates said Olympic planned to offer high-end services on some European routes – echoing the 1960s when Onassis ran Olympic as his private airline, with a French chef on board and flight attendants in uniforms designed by a Paris fashion house.</p></div>

<p>Aegean Airlines (Athens) has made a surprise last-minute bid for state-owned Olympic Airlines (Athens).  Aegean presented a bid of $113 million for the OA&#8217;s operations and $25 million for the ATH base.  This new bid outbids the prevailing single bid by the Marfin Investment Group.  Aegean also bid $75 million for the new Pantheon Airways set up as a paper airline by the government of Greece to take over OA&#8217;s operations debt-free.  This move by Aegean is seen as a strategy to consolidate airline operations under one brand in Greece. Aegean has gradually been taking away market share from OA. If successful, which brand will survive?</p>

<p>Os barcos saem do porto <strong>Piraeus</strong>, que pode ser acessado via metrô em 30 minutos do centro da cidade. Existem diversos tipos de barcos, com preços e velocidades diferentes, portanto é imporante ter em mente o que se deseja. </p>
<p>Os ferries são mais lentos, mas custam mais barato. O trecho <strong>Atenas-Mykonos</strong> pode ser feito em 5:15 hs e <strong>Atenas-Santorini</strong> em 8:00 hs. Uma outra opção são os catamarãs, também chamados de flyngcats ou highspeed, mais caros e rápidos. Os mesmos trechos acima podem ser feitos em 3:30 hs e 4:15 hs, respectivamente. Os preços para esses trechos são em média <strong>40 EUR</strong>, podendo variar de acordo com o tipo de assento.</p>
<p>O deslocamento entre as ilhas também podem ser feitos por essas embarcações, sendo que o trecho <strong>Mykonos-Santorini</strong> dura 2:30 hs de flyngcat.</p>
<p>Deve-se ficar atento pois as rotas nem sempre são diárias e em muitos casos com várias paradas pelo caminho. Além disso, as condições metereológicas podem adiar a sua viagem. Portanto, é importante saber de antemão todos os dias/horários e trajetos para não ser surpreendido.</p>
<p>Outro ponto importante é que nem sempre os horários ficam disponíveis com muita antecedência nos sites oficiais.</p>

<p>A outra forma de se chegar nas ilhas é de avião. Atualmente existem 2 companhias nacionais, a <a href="http://www.aegeanair.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Aegean Airlines</strong></a> e <a href="http://www.olympicairlines.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Olympic Airlines</strong></a>, sendo que ambas fazem o trajeto de Atenas para as principais ilhas, além de voos internacionais. Como eu já havia comentado anteriormente em outro <a href="http://wazari.wordpress.com/2009/05/26/aegean-airlines-na-star-alliance/"><strong>post</strong></a>, a Aegean acabou de ser aceita como a mais nova membra da <strong>Star Alliance</strong>.</p>
<p>É possível comprar online e pode-se conseguir preços muito bons com antecedência. Por exemplo, eu comprei o trecho <strong>Atenas-Mykonos</strong> por apenas <strong>4 EUR</strong> (<strong>39 EUR com taxa de embarque</strong>) pela Aegean 3 meses antes da data do voo. Olhando hoje no site, o mesmo trecho está custando <strong>64 EUR</strong> (<strong>103 EUR com taxa</strong>). No meu caso, ficou mais barato ir de avião do que de barco!!!</p>
<p>Outra dica é tentar comprar o trecho internacional com uma das companhias gregas e juntar com o trecho local. Como exemplo, compramos o trecho <strong>Santorini-Paris</strong> pela Aegean (com conexão em Atenas) por <strong>102 EUR</strong> (<strong>146 EUR com taxas</strong>), que saiu pelo mesmo preço do trecho Atenas-Paris, ou seja o trecho Santorini-Atenas saiu de graça.</p>
<p>O único problema dessas companhias, é que as mesmas não fazem voos entre as ilhas, obrigando você a fazer uma conexão em Atenas. Como os horários não são muito variados, na maioria dos casos você tem que passar um bom tempo no aeroporto de Atenas, o que não é nada agradável!</p>
<p>Uma dica quentíssima para resolver esse problema, além dos barcos é claro, é utilizar a companhia <a href="http://www.skyexpress.gr/" target="_blank"><strong>SKY Express</strong></a>, que é uma companhia regional grega pequena focada nos voos entre as ilhas. Os aviões são pequenos, mas você pode fazer o trecho <strong>Mykonos-Atenas em apenas 35 minutos por 85 EUR</strong>. A compra pode ser feita online no <a href="http://www.skyexpress.gr/" target="_blank"><strong>site deles</strong></a>. O único problema é que a bagagem está limitada a 20Kg por pessoa. Eu vou experimentar e depois conto aqui a experiência. </p>

<p>Pantheon Airways (Athens) will operate eight Bombardier DHC-8-400s (Q400s) for the newly-reorganized Olympic Air (3rd) (Athens). MIG Aviation 3 Limited, a subsidiary of the Marfin Investment Group Holdings S.A. of Greece, has signed a firm order for eight DHC-8-400s., including five updated Q400 NextGen airliners. The new airliners will be leased to Pantheon which will operate the aircraft in OA&#8217;s updated colors. </p>
<p style="line-height:1.5em;margin:.4em 0 .5em;">Previously on March 6, 2009, Greece&#8217;s Development Minister Kostis Hatzidakis announced the sale of the flight operations and the technical companies to MIG. MIG announced it would assume Olympic Airlines&#8217; ground handling operations.  After 35 years of state control and 10 years of failed sale attempts, Olympic Airlines (previously Olympic Airways) will once again become a private airline and company. MIG also purchased the assets of paper airline Pantheon Airways and some of the assets of Olympic Airlines (2nd)<strong> </strong>including aircraft, facilities and slots at Brussels, Bucharest, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, New York, Paris and Rome. The sale also included the &#8220;Olympic&#8221; name and brand including the six rings logo. MIG also acquired the leases of two hangars at Athens and Olympic Airways Services, the cargo unit and other facilities at Athens International Airport for 25 years. MIG has also created Olympic Handling which will handle all ground handling services starting in July.  The new airline, now named Olympic Air (3rd), will begin operations on October 1, 2009.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p style="text-align:justify;">Οι απαντησεις στην προηγουμενη αναρτηση ηταν πολυ συντομες γιατι  σκεφτηκα να το συνεχισω το θεμα σημερα, συζητωντας την επιλογη μου.  Παντως οι στατιστικες της αναρτησης θελουν την Σηλια νικητρια. Και το μπλογκ μας ειναι πιο εγκυρο απο την &#8220;μετρον αναλυσις&#8221;.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Την Τριτη το βραδυ βλεπω τον Ερρικο μπροστα στο λαπτοπ του να μελετα κατι με περισσια σπουδη.  Με ρωταει;  Εσυ ψηφισες;  Ειχε μπει ο δικος σου στο σαϊτ της Ολυμπιακης και εντυνε τις συνοδους!  Μου φανηκε πολυ ενδιαφερον και χαριτωμενο το παιχνιδι και αρχισα να παιζω κι εγω!  Κι εκει μου ηρθε η ιδεα να το μοιραστω μαζι σας.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Δε ξερω τι σημαινει ο ορος της χρησης δυο χρωματων, ισως να αντιπροσωπευει τη θαλασσα και τα &#8230; πρασινα λιβαδια της.. ισως να σημαινει το πευκο και τη θαλασσα, ισως να ειναι τα αγαπημενα του καινουργιου ιδιοκτητη των αερογραμμων, ισως παλι να ειναι συμβολικο για το κομμα που θα παραλαβει τα ηνια στις επομενες εκλογες.  Η εταιρεια οιδε!!  Αλλα αν δεχθουμε την εκδοχη του <a href="http://vassilisonline.blogspot.com/">Βασιλη</a> οτι το πρασινο αντιπροσωπευει  την Παναθα, τοτε μπαϊ ωλ μηνς!!!!!!  Και για τον αγαπητωτατο μου <a href="http://panathinaeos.wordpress.com/">Παναθηναιο </a>που ειμαι σιγουρη οτι η στυλιστικη του προταση θα ψηφιζοταν παραυτα απο το 120 τοις εκατο του ανδρκου πληθυσμου ενα εχω να πω!  Που στα Βαλκανια ησασταν καλε μου οταν προκυρηχτηκε ο διαγωνισμος;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Το πρασινο της Σηλιας Κριθαριωτη μου φαινεται  εντονο. Ο συνδιασμος ειναι ωραιος με το μπλε της αλλα καθε τι που χτυπα στο ματι τον επομενο χρονο μπορει αισθητικα να ειναι πασέ.   Οι γραβατες της κλασσικες ριγε αλλα πολυ συντηρητικες. Τα γυναικεια αξεσουαρ της τα πιο ωραια.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Η τριτη ομαδα π σκουεαρ ειλικρινα δε μου δινει την εντυπωση σχεδιου μοδας αλλα εξαρση γραφικης τεχνης .  Οι ποδιες δε μου αρεσαν καθολου και το ολο στυλ φερνει μιλιταιρ.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Καταληγω λοιπον να ψηφισω την ομαδα ΑΚΤΟ κυριως για τον χρωματικο συνδιασμο.  Το μπλε τους ειναι πιο γλυκο και η αποχρωση του πρασινου επισης πολυ ωραια.  Οπως διαβασα σε ενα σχολιο, η ποδια πραγματικα ειναι υπεροχη.  Οι γραβατες επισης πρωτοτυπες και κατι σε συνδιασμο μοντερνου και κλασσικου.  Οι βαλιτσουλες τρολλεϋ υπεροχες στο πρασινακι.  Μου αρεσε οτι εδω το πρασινο δε χρησιμοποιειται εντονα αλλα συμπληρωνει την εικονα και την προυποθεση διακριτικα.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">ΑΚΤΟ λοιπον απο μενα αν και πιστευω οτι θα επικρατησει η προταση της κυριας Κριθαριωτη και πιστευω οτι η αναγνωρισιμοτητα θα παιξει καποιο ρολο.  Και συγχαρητηρια στους φιλους της γλυκειας <a href="http://roadartist.blogspot.com/">Roadartist in Athens</a> που εδωσαν τον καλυτερο τους εαυτο.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Συνεχιζω με το σχολιο της <a href="http://dollitsa.blogspot.com/">Κατριν ντε λα φασον</a>, που γνωρισε τις ιπταμενες συνοδους και μας τις περιγραφει διμετρες κουκλαρες.  Ελπιζω να μην ηταν μονο αυτα τα κριτηρια της εταιρειας. Ηδη πολλα χρονια τωρα τα κριτηρια εχουν αλλαξε.  Αλλα δεν παυει να θεωρειται καλη εικονα για μια εταιρεια να εχει στο πληρωμα της ομορφα πλασματα.  Παλιοτερα πολλες εταιρειες ειχαν προβληματα γιατι απελυσαν συνοδους που δεν πληρουσαν πλεον τις προδιαγραφες τους. Ειναι λεπτο το θεμα, και οι προδιαγραφες αυτες δε θα πρεπει να αναφερονται μονο στην εμφανιση αλλα και στις συμπεριφορες.  Αυτο το τελευταιο παραβλεπεται περισσοτερο ομως. Ο επιβατης θελει να εξυπηρετηθει απο μια ομορφη καλοντυμενη κοπελλα αλλα περισσοτερο απο ολα θελει να εξυπηρετηθει απο μια χαμογελαστη και προσχαρη υπαρξη (ασχετως φυλου)  που δε θα τον κανει να αισθανεται μειονεκτικα ουτε με την εμφανιση ουτε με την συμπεριφορα.  Εν τω μεταξυ ξερω πολυ καλα οτι μπορουν να διαλεξουν ατομα που πραγματικα να ειναι καταλληλα για συνοδοι και να βελτιωσουν τα οποια αρνητικα αισθητικα τους προβληματα.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Στο σχολειο  ειχα μια συμμαθητρια  οχι ιδιεταιρα ομορφη αλλα ξυπνια και χαμογελαστη.  Ηταν πεταχτουλα λεπτη, την λεγανε Ροζα και την φωναζαμε το παπι!  Χαριτωμενη φατσουλα.  Η Ροζα το παπι, οταν τελειωσαμε το γυμνασιο προσεληφθη απο την Ολυμπιακη Αεροπορια τοτε και την μεταμορφωσαν σε συνοδο για VIP  πτησεις.  Οι κακες σχολικες γλωσσες ειπαν οτι ειχε μεσον!  Δε ξερω, παντως οταν ξαναειδα την Ροζα το παπι, εμεινα με το σαγονι να κρεμεται.  Ηταν σε ενα παρτυ κοινης φιλης. Εγω φοιτητρια τοτε στο Πολυτεχνειο με το μαλλι σεσκουλο και το κοτλε στενο καφε δευτερο πετσι μου, και η Ροζα αγνωριστη,  την ειχαν κουρεψει, βαψει αποψιλωσει, καλα λεμε ειχε περασει απο πανω της σιφουνας.  Το αποτελεσμα εκπληκτικο αλλα η Ροζα δεν ηταν πλεον το παπι.  Ηταν αλλο πλασμα.  Αφου τοτε αισθητικες παρεμβασεις εκαναν τετοια θαυματα γιατι οχι και σημερα.  Το κακο με μας τις γυναικες παντως ειναι οτι οταν βελτιωνομαστε εμφανισιακα,  αποκταμε και υφακι!  Πφφφφφ!!!</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Μου εχουν τυχει λοιπον σουηδεζες κουκλαρες τοσο παγωμενες που φοβομουνα να ρωτησω κατι.  Νευριασμενες και κουρασμενες συνοδοι που μονο δε με εβρισαν οταν ζητησα ΚΑΙ κρασι ΚΑΙ νερο. Αλλα εχω συναντησει και μερικα στρουμπουλα πλασματα με το χαμογελο στα χειλη και την εξυπηρετηση πρωτο μελημα.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Τον πιλοτο μου ομως τον θελω καρακουκλαρο!!  Με φουστανελα η θρη πης σουτ, με αφηνει αδιαφορη!  Για να εξηγουμαστε!</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Η Ολυμπιακες αερογραμμες εβγαλαν σε δημοψηφισμα τρεις εναλλακτικες προτασεις για στολες πληρωματος.  Η πρωτη προταση ειναι απο την Σηλια Κριθαριωτη, η δευτερη απο την ομαδα ΑΚΤΟ team  και η τριτη απο την ομαδα π2.  Διαβαζω οτι προϋποθεση στο σχεδιασμο ηταν να χρησιμοποιηθει το μπλε και το πρασινο χρωμα.  Δειτε τις <a href="http://www.oafashion.gr/">στολες </a>και ψηφιστε αν θελετε. Τι θελετε να φορανε οι εθνικες μας αεροσυνοδοι και οι εθνικοι μας πιλοτοι;  Πως σας φαινεται ο συνδιασμος μπλε και πρασινου; Πητε μας!   Εγω ψηφισα αλλα θα σας αποκαλυψω αυριο τι!</p>
