I recently watched the 1996 movie One Fine Day starring Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney. It was an entertaining romantic comedy and wasn’t quite as predictable as more recent rom-coms. This movie somewhat kept you guessing because the characters were against each other the whole way through until the end.

The two main characters, Melanie and Jack, are divorced with children. They are very career-driven and meet accidently one day because they are both late getting their children to school. Everything else that day seems to go wrong for Melanie and Jack, including loosing their children, an unscheduled visit to the doctor, broken projects for the boss, switched cell phones, etc. Viewers will most likely recognize the children as Mae Whitman and Alex Linz, both child stars who are still acting.

Overall the movie was pretty good. It was a cute, quick-watch but didn’t have much depth (not surprisingly).

it’s friday morning. i woke up at 745.  thank God for the day.  i felt like taking a walk along Corniche Road.   there was no one there to bring along with me. 2 of my roommates are on vacation. and the other one is still sleeping.  so i guess there’s just gonna be me.  i don’t mind walking alone.  i’m not alone anyway. i travelled to this country with Jesus by my side. we used to do alot of talks together. but lately i seemed to be pre-occupied with other things for my future that i started missing all those conversations that we had before. yes, i’m ashamed to admit it but, i barely talk to him anymore.  i’ve been so pre-occupied with myself, with what i want to do, with what will i do, with what will happen and all other what wills….  things that are all about myself that are not happening yet. i have nothing when i arrived here but my faith in him.  then he blessed me… continued to bless me. then i fell off his grip.  i focused on the blessings and not the giver. one day, i felt so alone.  so alone that no one or nothing can fill the gap. i spoke to him once again and asked him to bring me back to the his path. i want to continue my life’s journey with him by my side, again.

i went for a walk this morning with Jesus by my side.  it was refreshing.  it feels good. all my worries are washed away by his great love.

we had a bbq in the park.  the weather is cool and crisp. it’s a birthday.  it’s her 2nd birthday. mai’s 2nd birthday. and she looks big her age. she looks soo pretty with her curly hair falling over her face. her mom splendidly tied her hair with a ribbon from one of the gifts. she’s the daughter  of my colleague.  and guess what? she has a son too. very good looking at the age of 3.  they’re both so healthy and having all the fun they can get.  i enjoyed mai’s birthday alot.  seeing these children happy and brought up so well by their parents is a refreshing sight.

i hope all children gets the attention and love they need too. if they do, i guess our world will be a better place to live and our future is something to look forward to.

Ne yayınlasam, nereden başlasam diye düşünürken aslında düşünmekten hiç bıkmadığım tek şey hakkında yazmalıyım dedim kendi kendime. Şaşırtıcı olmamalı aslında Gong Yoo çook uzun zamandır hakkında düşünmekten, konuşmaktan bıkmadığım tek şey. Nasıl oldu, ne ara oldu bilmiyorum bu sımsıcak gülümseyen şeker adam kalbimi çalıverdi

Kimdir ki bu Gong Yoo diyen var ise eğer her ne kadar burun kıvırmak istesemde kendilerine kısaca bahsetmeyi görev bilirim kendime.

İşte yukarıda arzı endam eden bu yakışıklı genç adamın adı Gong Yoo’dur. Daha detaylı bilgilerine gelirsek 10 Temmuz 1979 doğumlu aktörün gerçek adı Gong Ji Cheol (Kong Ji Chul diye okunuyor). Güney Kore doğumlu aktör Kyung Hee Üniversitesi’nden mezun olmuş. Annesi, babası ve bir de kendisinden büyük bir kız kardeşi olan aktör gençlik yıllarının başından itibaren birçok yapımda yer alarak aktör olarak başarı basamaklarını yavaş ama emin adımlarla tırmandı. Amatör olarak şarkıda söyleyen yakışıklı aktör bu yeteneğini Coffee Prince dizisinde de gösterme imkanı buldu. (Bkn:Norul Saranghae – Gong Yoo..Coffee Prince Harika bir ses tonuna sahip olan genç aktör profosyonel olarak kendisine birçok teklif gelmesine rağmen kariyerini aktörlük çizgisinde devam ettirme kararı almış. Kariyerinde birçok yapımda yer almasına rağmen TV sektörü hızlı ve hareketli olan Güney Kore’de adını duyurabilmesi 2005 yılında rol aldığı She’s on Duty filmi ve arkasından aynı yıl çevrilen Hello My Teacher dizisi sayesinde oldu. Daha öncesinde yan rollerde ve bazı küçük rollerde yer alan Yoo 2005 yılında yapımcıların ilgisini çekmeyi başardı. Artık Güney Kore’de gözde oyuncular arasında yer alan Gong Yoo 2007 yılına geldiğimizde kariyerinde zirve yaptığı ve adını dünyaya duyuran yapım olan Coffee Prince dizisinde rol almaya karar verdi. Sadece ülkesinin değil kendi kariyerininde sınırlarını aştığı bu yapımla birçok ödül kazanan ünlü aktör artık kendi hayranları, fanları olan bir yıldız haline geldi. Coffee Prince dizisinde diğer bir ünlü aktrist olan Yoon Eun Hye ile rol alan Yoo adeta yaşayarak can verdiği Choi Han Kyul karakterini başarıyla canlandırdı. Güney Kore’de 2007 yılında En İyi Çift ödüllerini toplayan bu ikili için Coffe Prince dizisi adeta kariyerleri için bir sıçrama tahtası oldu.

Bu kadar tanıtımdan sonra bir süre önce arkadaşlarımın bloglarında Gong Yoo hakkında yazığım kendi yazımı buraya koyayım aynen.

Dünyalar yakışıklısı içimizi taaa Kore’den ısıtan, izleyeni göreni önce bir şaşırtan sonra hayran bırakan, etkisi gelip geçici değil kalıcı olan, öyle ki 2 yıl şafak saydıran. (Sizi bilmem ben şafak sayıyorum. şu gün itibari ile 35 gün kalmış) ayıltan, bayıltan, izlerken gülümseten, gülümsetirken özleten, sımsıcak gülen, içten bakan yaradanın belkide yarattığı en güzel insanlardan biri olan Gong Yoo…

Haksız mıyım? Hiç sanmıyorum. O kadar şey yazdım-yazdık ama insanda hep eksik tasvir etmiş hissi yaratıyor bu iç gıcıklayıcı adam. Öyle hayran olmuşuz ki sevgimizi anlatırken kullandığımız engin Türkçe dağarcığımız yetmiyor gibi geliyor insana. Hep bir eksiklik hissi bırakıyor insanın üstünde.

Dizilerinde, filmlerinde her rolü adeta yaşayarak oynayan bu adam askerde bulunduğu süre boyunca hayranlarına radyo programı ile sesini duyuruyor. Lafea’nın da dediği gibi Korece bilmek sanırım burada bir ayrıcalık oluyor. Ayrıca özel yaşamına ait kesitler için kamera arkası fotoları, fotoğraf çekimleri için stütyoda bulunduğu sürede çekilen videolar, askere giderken yerlere kapanarak hayranlarına veda etmesi, radyo programındaki mütavazi konuşmaları, imza günlerinde yüzlerce imza dağıtırken önüne gelen her hayranına adını ututturan bir gülümsemeyle bakması sanırım özelde Gong Yoo ya dair bir şeyler anlatıyor. Bu güzel gülümseyen adamın ayrıca çok ta ÖZEL bir insan olduğu anlaşılıyor.

Evet askerde olan yakışıklı Yoo’muz 8 Aralık 2009′da askerliğini bitirerek sivil hayata tekrar merhaba diyecek. Gözümüz yolda dört gözle belkiyoruz. Ama elimiz boş değil Türkiye’de ki fanları arasında fikir annesi olduğum bir mektup projesi başlattık. İnşallah mektubu önümüzdeki hafta göndereceğiz. Bu konu ile ilgili daha detaylı bir güncelleme yapacağım. Çünkü yeterince uzun olduğunu düşündüğüm ilk güncellemede sizleri sıkmamalıyım diye düşündüm. Sözlerin kifayetsiz kaldığı -Allah’ım Boş Zamanında Yaratmış- dediğim bu güzel insanın iki adet resmini yükleyerek bu güncellememin sonuna geliyorum.

After recent attack on G.H.Q by Taliban, seems like Army has lost grip on defending, was it easy for Taliban to reach out till G.H.Q ? Still wondering in history of pakistan, India never been able to fly over it, thou Jammu Kashmir is near, if G.H.Q was their target than why yesterday Islamic University was targeted ? killing innocent students from various countries, at present Pakistan is State of Emergency, where word democracy doesn’t fit, Martial Law should be implemented to control the up rising failure and suicide attacks, Present Government has failed to satisfy anything uptill now, Still the Case Of Benazir Bhutto hasn’t started, throwing onto Talibans doesn’t make sense unless evidence and trial starts up. 20th October all universities, schools and institutions will remain close till sunday, due to security measurements? what exactly Government is onto? when innocent students are being targeted and capital is under siege of attacks.

Pakistan Army Should stand alone stop this non sense of pro american forces and continuation of dictatorship which former president did. Taliban are not against students nor innocent people but America, Pakistan must stop begging donation when it is sucking blood of common man citizen of Pakistan giving nothing in return taking more than 36 percent tax almost on everything. already all departments are too corrupt that one cannot seek for any sort of justice from any where, where Pakistan’s Government is flooding its forces and attacking its own people , Waziristan and other areas? Issue is getting more critical, which may put Entire Pakistan into danger, since no one is safe anywhere in pakistan ( When G.H.Q ) can be attacked than forget your area home or town, Capital Islamabad seems like battle ground. initiate should be taken further with no delay,

- Stop following Pro American Policy
- Stop Attacking It’s own Land, for the favor of Unite States
- Sustain law and order situation, which seems out of hands these days
- Take major step toward peace in Balochistan and Frontier,
- Government must and should follow, what people of Pakistan Want not what External forces wants.
- If Government is too corrupt, than Pakistan Army better and should take over for least 3-5 years
- Let Supreme Court decisions to be taken accordingly and initiated as decided, ( Sugar Crisis etc.. )
- Shortage of Electricity and unemployment is getting worst than ever before, loans for small business and import and export from and in pakistan should be passive so ordinary business man can gain and lift up the conditions
- Electricity, instead of privatizing it, government and local body council should go through it and make proper arrangements as needed.
- stop changing parameters of policies following other rather than making and sticking onto it.

Pakistan has suffered alot since 1988 uptill now in almost all democratic governments and dictatorship, United states wants to step in Pakistan No doubt for them Pakistan is the most Important Land, Since their Rivals are here and there so they want to step in, where Flag of Pakistan but rules will be followed by united states of Terrorism, at present Pakistan is The State Of Emergency but no one is declaring it, when we are able to see the failure of Government and Law enforcement agencies, It is effecting each and every Pakistan not only in Pakistan but Over seas too, when they are hearing suicide attacks, seems like Civil War, why Army is baring all these and waiting what for when they are aware of each and everything.

The Voice of Ordinary Pakistan has lost the strength to rise up, to save , aware and justify just because we all as Pakistani’s watching out rage which is being done by government, just to show off Talibans are every where, 700,000 Army is not able to fight with 40,000 Talibans ? It shows Pakistani Government is openly giving chance to Black Water World Wide and US Marines to Step in, Pakistani’s are dying on daily basis every time there’s a breaking news, none shows progress but loss of innocents like us? who is responsible if not government?

Frankly speaking I have never seen such drama before as this government is playing to show people, The People of Pakistan are not in favor or terrorism but peace, they do not want to follow United states and be pro american policy. which contains bills and notifications further step victim of it are you and me. by filling up those who in government and their families are never been targeted nor have mercy in their hearts, It is my suggestion and advise to government, if the conditions are out of your hands than let Ordinary Pakistan take initate against we can do better for our country, none of us is greedy nor in favor of terror, wonder when Pakistani’s will see the ONE FINE DAY.

Yesterday was the first Sunday of the bar exams. There are some or most examinees who would spend this day thinking of their unsure answers yesterday. That’s a big NO! NO! You have to forget entirely what happened yesterday. So what if you thought you failed the bar exams in political law and labor law? You are not the examiner ok. Your score depends on the appreciation of the examiners of the answers you gave them.

This morning you go out. You go to the mall or to church. Spend the half day watching comedies or any movies. Some would even have sex with their partners. May room mate ako na ganun yung ginawa. Haha. That’s what she told me. So “secretive” of her no?

When it was my time then, the afternoon after the bar exams, I went home (province) because i wanted to be comforted by my family. Seeing my family took away the insecurities I had then. An acquaintance of my room mate would travel all the way to Manaoag! Yes, you got it right. Manaoag. The afternoon after each bar exams. After that, she would go back to Manila every Monday.

The afternoon of Monday, start studying for the next Sunday exams. You may alot 3 days for the morning exams and 2 days for the afternoon exams. That’s up to you.

On July 6, 2009, I woke up early so that I would be at the PAO Central Office for my promotion.  After eight months of waiting and hardwork, I finally got what I deseve. Thanks a lot!

Hi. This is the first time that I will post about politics because I just can’t help it. When I was conceiving this blog, I said that I would stay away from politics. This has to be the exception to my rule.

Pres. GMA is rumored to run for congresswoman in one of the districts in Pampanga. Maybe this is the rason why her GMA caravan frequents the towns of Sasmuan, Sta. Rita, Lubao, and others of the same district where her son is a congressman. I am not sure why because I am not close to her and she does not even know me.

Recently, news came that Prof. randy david will be running against GMA. That’s like  breathing fresh air. We all need it. Otherwise, we will all die of lung cancer. Prof. David’s family is well respected in Pampanga. His father was a former justice of peace ( I read that somewhere.)His brother is the Eminent Auxiliary Bishop Ambo David.

I’ll be asking my cousins who live in that district to vote for him.
