It is rather unnerving when your seven year old daughter asks you, “Mama, What is a hypocrite???”

I always say to myself, when I hear those kind of questions, “Just focus on your perineum and breath into the pain… there is no where to hide… you have to move through the ring of fire… and look at yourself…”

Then she says, “Don’t worry… I’m not taking about you… I just want to know what it means…”

I tell her that the best way that I can explain it is to say that a hypocrite is someone who says one thing and then does another…

basically someone who isn’t being true to themselves…

“Oh,” she says, as she keeps drawing in her sketch book, “That’s what I thought…

I just wanted to be sure…”

The other day, during a massage, I was expanding into an energetic contraction while I pictured my pelvic floor as a solid, smooth surface… something like the ice in Maple Leaf Gardens…

Playful ice with show lights swirling all over it…

a score of retired hockey players skating around in unison sporting satin shirts…

and Raise a Little Hell blasting out of the Automaton…

Recognizing hypocrisy, and naming it, is a source of power…

Just like we confuse sensitivity with passivity, we confuse leadership with position…

Leadership is not who we say we are…

And it isn’t static…

It is temporary and dynamic…

and above all it happens most effectively when one is in an altered state of being…

But that’s only my opinion…

What a bummer that opinions don’t count as research…

The other morning I felt agitated and unsettled… I couldn’t give a name to the seed of my inner-discomfort…

But I knew that time would tell…

I was on my way to crashing a session at a major mental health conference… the session I wanted to see was on resiliency and the residential school legacy…

While I waited at the bus stop with a neighbour, on this bright sunny morning, a man sat down and cracked open a Guinness… he started to talk about how his old lady was down at the courthouse… he mentioned a lady judge, his lady lawyer… his lady dentist, lady doctor, the Liberals, Gordon Campbell, the NDP,

and Carole James…

Then he asked what I do for a living…

I said, “I’m just kind of hanging out right now… doing what I love…”

“You can’t be making much money doing that…” he said… followed up by, “Have you ever worked???”

Have I ever worked??? 

Why don’t you ask me if I’ve ever had an addiction…

I thanked him for nailing my anxiety… and then I got on the bus…

What happened next is beyond the scope of this post…

When I got to the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel I discovered that the intended session had been postponed until the afternoon…

So I went elsewhere… 

The presenter talked about his belief that we are all on a path to One Mind…

He asked the question, “How will we know when we’re there???”

He reminded us of the Hopi prophecy that said,

Our people are going into the time of midnight and daylight will come when the eagle lands on the moon…

And then he said, “Remember when the first men went to the moon and the first words heard back were 

The EAGLE has landed…”

I also believe that we are on a path to One Mind, but I wonder how we are going to get there when we are still gripping on so tight to positions of normalcy…

and reason…

My way or the highway…

As I take my own baby steps toward One Mind I focus on putting my own integrity and self-respect first…

I ask hard questions of those in authority…

I dissolve my fears…

and I make a commitment to service…

Philippine Weather, Outer Space and renaming PAGASA

  

The Philippines has a long way to go in weather forecasting. For a long time, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or popularly known as PAGASA has been waiting for its order of at least ten S-band Doppler Radars. The first delivery being half of the lot. This has not happened. More about this post here.

I used to be part of the DOST scientific network myself, but I saw how much room there is in the department and its network for expansion and growth. True, on many occasions it used to be the only place in the bureaucracy where talent is clearly rewarded (I used to get as many as eight to ten cheques on certain paydays because of my work in various projects in our division alone), still the accomplishments of the department leave so much to be desired.

There is a lot of talk about a One World Government at the moment . The ‘ powers that be ‘ do seem to be heading that way and it has long been a wish of various organisations , such as freemasonry , who see it as a panacea to the world’s problems . Other people vehemently oppose it seeing it as a dilution of democracy and installation of a facist regime run by an elite , only concerned for themselves . In truth , it doesn’t matter as long as we see the world as we do .

There are , in fact , two worlds not just one . The world we live in is the one run by guilt , fear , hate and all the other emotions . The other world is seen through the eyes of innocence and love . We have chosen the first route and this is the world we see . But the other world still lives in ‘our Mind ‘ obscured by the heavy clouds of guilt . The question we are being asked at the moment is which one do we want ? It is a choice , but once we let go of the guilt from our psyche , we will be able to see this other world of innocence . This world runs parallel to ours and has always existed and is always there for us . Trying to change our world is a waste of time , as the outer form may seem to change , but essentially remains the same . The answer is in our Mind and the question is which world do we choose ?

Thanks to the good folks at Syracuse Cultural Workers I have discovered the beautiful address of thanks inspired by the Onondaga Nation.  This translation of the Mohawk version of the Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address was developed by John Stokes and Kanawahienton (David Benedict, Turtle Clan/Mohawk).  This address has obvious similarities to the traditions referenced in my post earlier this year dealing with the ceremony of invoking  the Four Directions; but makes a specific effort to call participants into being of one mind.  Today these words are still spoken at the opening and closing of all ceremonial and governmental gatherings held by the Six Nations of the Onondaga so their concentrated attention might help them rediscover their balance, respect, and oneness with Nature…an important lesson for all of us.

Greetings to the Natural World

The People – Today we have gathered and we see that the cycles of life continue. We have been given the duty to live in balance and harmony with each other and all living things. So now, we bring our minds together as one as we give greetings and thanks to each other as People.

Now our minds are one.

The Earth Mother - We are all thankful to our Mother, the Earth, for she gives us all that we need for life. She supports our feet as we walk about upon her. It gives us joy that she continues to care for us as she has from the beginning of time. To our Mother, we send greetings and thanks.

Now our minds are one.

The Waters - We give thanks to all the Waters of the world for quenching our thirst and providing us with strength. Water is life. We know its power in many forms—waterfalls and rain, mists and streams, rivers and oceans. With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to the spirit of Water. 

Now our minds are one. 

The Fish – We turn our minds to all the Fish life in the water. They were instructed to cleanse and purify the water. They also give themselves to us as food. We are grateful that we can still find pure water.  So, we turn now to the Fish and send our greetings and thanks. 

Now our minds are one.

The Plants - Now we turn toward the vast fields of Plant life. As far as the eye can see, the Plants grow, working many wonders. They sustain many life forms. With our minds gathered together, we give thanks and look forward to seeing Plant life for many generations to come. 

Now our minds are one. 

The Food Plants - With one mind, we turn to honor and thank all the Food Plants we harvest from the garden. Since the beginning of time, the grains, vegetables, beans and berries have helped the people survive.  Many other living things draw strength from them too. We gather all the Plant Foods together as one and send them a greeting and thanks.

Now our minds are one.

The Medicine Herbs - Now we turn to all the Medicine Herbs of the world. From the beginning, they were instructed to take away sickness. They are always waiting and ready to heal us. We are happy there are still among us those special few who remember how to use these plants for healing. With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to the Medicines and to the keepers of the Medicines. 

Now our minds are one. 

The Animals - We gather our minds together to send greetings and thanks to all the Animal life in the world. They have many things to teach us as people. We see them near our homes and in the deep forests. We are glad they are still here and we hope that it will always be so. 

Now our minds are one. 

The Trees – We now turn our thoughts to the Trees. The Earth has many families of Trees who have their own instructions and uses. Some provide us with shelter and shade, others with fruit, beauty, and other useful things. Many peoples of the world use a Tree as a symbol of peace and strength. With one mind, we greet and thank the Tree life.

Now our minds are one. 

The Birds - We put our minds together as one and thank all the Birds who move and fly about over our heads. The Creator gave them beautiful songs. Each day they remind us to enjoy and appreciate life. The Eagle was chosen to be their leader. To all the Birds—from the smallest to the largest— we send our joyful greetings and thanks.

Now our minds are one. 

The Four Winds - We are all thankful to the powers we know as the Four Winds. We hear their voices in the moving air as they refresh us and purify the air we breathe. They help to bring the change of seasons. From the four directions they come, bringing us messages and giving us strength. With one mind, we send our greetings and thanks to the Four Winds. 

Now our minds are one. 

The Thunderers - Now we turn to the west where our Grandfathers, the Thunder Beings, live. With lightening and thundering voices, they bring with them the water that renews life. We bring our minds together as one to send greetings and thanks to our Grandfathers, the Thunderers. 

Now our minds are one.

The Sun - We now send greetings and thanks to our eldest Brother, the Sun. Each day without fail he travels the sky from east to west, bringing the light of a new day. He is the source of all the fires of life. With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to our Brother, the Sun. 

Now our minds are one. 

Grandmother Moon - We put our minds together and give thanks to our oldest Grandmother, the Moon, who lights the nighttime sky. She is the leader of women all over the world, and she governs the movement of the ocean tides. By her changing face we measure time, and it is the Moon who watches over the arrival of children here on Earth. With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to our Grandmother, the Moon. 

Now our minds are one. 

The Stars - We give thanks to the Stars who are spread across the sky like jewelry. We see them in the night, helping the Moon to light the darkness and bringing dew to the gardens and growing things.  When we travel at night, they guide us home. With our minds gathered together as one, we send greetings and thanks to all the Stars.

Now our minds are one. 

The Enlightened Teachers – We gather our minds to greet and thank the enlightened Teachers who have come to help throughout the ages. When we forget how to live in harmony, they remind us of the way we were instructed to live as people. With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to these caring Teachers.

Now our minds are one.

The Creator - Now we turn our thoughts to the Creator, or Great Spirit, and send greetings and thanks for all the gifts of Creation. Everything we need to live a good life is here on this Mother Earth. For all the love that is still around us, we gather our minds together as one and send our choicest words of greetings and thanks to the Creator. 

Now our minds are one. 

Closing Words - We have now arrived at the place where we end our words. Of all the things we have named, it was not our intention to leave anything out. If something was forgotten, we leave it to each individual to send such greetings and thanks in their own way. 

The Onondaga Nation is a member of the Haudenosaunee (“People of the Long House”), an alliance of native nations united for hundreds of years by traditions, beliefs and cultural values. My child, breathe in and out. Let us spend some time together. Breathe in and out. You need not look outside yourself for the answers. The answers you seek are within. We share one mind in this space. You ask if you are unhappy, and in this moment, my child, that we share, that is impossible. Continue to breathe in and out, my precious child. Seek not for answers without, but within. We are one. It is not possible for you to be unhappy in this shared space.

Be not worried. Be not afraid. Be here now. In love, with love. You task is simple, my child. To love. To love, accept and to hold others in the space of love and acceptance. Hold yourself in that space. Love, my child. Simply love.

Let the future take care of itself. Be here now with me. In this space, it doesn’t matter where you are on the planet. As long as you are present and with me. Be here now.

We are equals. There are only equals. It is simple. No hierarchy. No rules, no differences. All one and the same.

Commentary:
It would be interesting to know how many denominations there are in all of Chriatianity. Of all the makor denominations within Chriatianity there are off shoots of those groups. I think it would be impossible to have an accurate survey done.

The point to that is inside of the world of Chriatianity there are countless denominations. Why is that so? Not everyone agrees doctrinally with everyone else.

The one thing that all Christians have in common is their belief in Jesus Christ. And I think that’s where it ends. So many denominations get hung up on the Holy Trinity doctrine or being Saved by grace regardless of good works or Sabboth Day observance. At least in the history of this blog and reader comments it seems those are some of the biggest issues that pit one denomination against another.

In my opinion based on the teachings of the chief Apostle Peter in 1 Peter 3:8-9. All the Christian denominations that contend with each other in regards to accusing one another of not being Christian are in error.

Who has the God given authority to determine who is Christian or not Christian?

Some Christian religions belive that to be saved all one has to do is to say “I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour” and from then on they are saved. So why can’t someone or some religious groups claim to be Christian without having other denominations attack them claiming they are not Christian?

Getting back to 1 Peter 3:8-9 it says we (Christians) should be of one mind having compassion on one another. We are taught to love each other as brethren and to bepitiful and courteous toward one another.

We are not to rail against each other or render evil for evil but just the opposite. We should bless one another. How can we do all that if were fighting over doctrine?

The Apostle Peter teaches us to eschew evil, do good and seek for peace. How can Christian have peace in the middle of fighting over doctrine.

One thing all Christian have in common is a belief and faith in the Messiah, even Jesus Christ.

Their are numerous Christians who take issue with the doctrines of The Roman Catholic Church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Those two Christian Churches have very different doctrines between the themselves.

However these two Christian Churches are a terrific example of Christianity doing good. They both individually have a tremendous track record of caring for the poor and coming to the aid in relief of victims of natural disasters. They both are doing great humanitarian aid in Africa and South America as well as other parts of the globe, where allowed,  to improve the situation of the sick and poor.

There have been numerous times where they have joined together and combined resources and areas of expertise in helping where help is needed.

Is that not what Jesus Christ did? Teach peace and help the sick and the hungry?

If all of the rest of Christianity could take their energy that is used to contend with each other and put it to use in serving their communities and helping the sick and the hungry, the tired and poor it would make a profound difference. Indeed all of Christianity would be doing what their name implies, being disciples of Jesus Christ.

Can we as Christians expect to achieve any degree of peace in our neighborshoods much less world wide peace if we are not at peace with each other? Let us respect each others differences and celebrate what binds us together, our belief in our Redeemer.

I have had the pleasure of becoming briefly acquainted with the most mysterious, captivating man, only interested in women over 47.…hmmm wonder why?

Is it because we are more mature, more confident, more in touch with our inner being and muse? Perhaps….He is an accomplished musician and an author of the most romantic prose …. thoughts that mil in his mind in the most romantic and delightful ways… His photo doesn’t exactly portray a man with such a deep, emotional and romantic heart, he appears focused, determined, rugged, almost a “bad boy” with his beautiful green, so I am told, eyes shielded so they are difficult to see….the windows to his soul, beneath a NY ball cap.  Yet his thoughts seem to transcend the airwaves from Florida to Dallas….Why is it the most endearing of men are found at a distance?

He has already within a very short time captivated my interest with his words and with his music too…..I have to wonder exactly what he might see within me if I see so much in him through his writing? I hope what he sees is all he wants it to be and yet more….so if and when our pathways cross in reality, he will be assured that none of us can or should” judge a book by it’s cover“, for in  that preciousness we each have as loving, creative human beings comes from within….Will I know if he’s the one to hold the key to my heart?  Guess time and communication will eventually tell….

He’s not the least bit brash, or crass and doesn’t seem to be insecure within himself yet not arrogant or cocky, a braggart or abusively rude….he seems to have an energizing tender spirit with a deep and loving respect for women.  “The greatest gift a man can receive is to win a woman’s loving heart”....a simple enough statement that most men are not likely to make, he did.

So ladies out there in cyber space, trust your gut but look for the gem inside the men you meet and perhaps you too will be meeting someone who lights the passionate fire within your heart. Take your time and gaze into the flames together, as one mind, one soul. It may not go anywhere fast or at first, but it is our ultimate dream to be romanced isn’t it?

I am certainly enjoying the flight to a world unknown to me one I have never travelled with a man….I am blessed I was on a site at the right time, the right day and how this has all begun I am not completely certain….what I do know is in the uncertainty of who he is and who I am is the most blissful experience I have had in a very long time…..And perhaps as time unfolds, and more words written to and fro, then when we meet I will really know….until then the Prince of Flutes is providing myself  and others in the world the beauty of musical melodies and melodious words,  what more can a single gal hope for huh?

One day….I will know and he may too…until then, today I am happy to be a seasoned single, who is open to trusting my heart once again, how bout you?

The journey toward self-empowerment is never easy. It is a journey that demands you work on yourself rather than expecting others to change.
When I walked out of a hospital where I had spent six weeks in recovering from what was medically termed ‘ a nervous breakdown’, however this was nothing short of the begining of my metamorphosis.   Nothing in my world around me had changed. Nothing changed except ME.

Changing from within is part of the self-empowerment journey. Your thought patterns have a tremendous impact on your life, especially negative thoughts.
It is the negative though patterns that we cling to that create our outer experiences. though we may not intentionally draw unfavourable conditions into our lives, we do so through our negative thoughts.

but in order to appreciate this fully we need to understand the functions of the conscious and subconscious minds. Although I refer to the conscious and subconscious mind, recognize that you do not have two minds. There are two phases or dimensions of ONE mind.

We use our conscious mind when we learn to play an instrument, drive a car, pick up the phone and dial a number. Your conscious mind deliberately chooses what you will eat, judge, do for a living, which movie you will see, etc. When you use your conscious mind you CHOOSE the thoughts you want to think.

Your subconscious mind is the creative phase of the mind. It takes what your conscious mind gives it and turns your thoughts into reality. Our subconscious mind works to call your aspirations, whether positive or negative, into existence. The subconscious mind has no power of choice nor does it reason. It simply accepts what your conscious mind present it.

Whatever you entertain in your conscious mind long enough or vividly enough eventually passes into the subconscious mind where it begins to achieve substance. The subconscious mind keeps your heart beating, keeps you beating and digests your food without effort from the conscious mind. A conscious experience you have today and forget nevertheless passes into your subconscious mind. Every experience in your life is stored in your subconscious even though you may never consciously recall it.

So how do we change this? reverse it so to speak? How do we control the negative thoughts? And what of the thoughts that pass us so quickly that we are not consciously aware of?

1. You can teach yourself to not give utterance to anything negative. Begin by watching what you say. Be an observer if you can and notice what you talk about. Eliminate negative speech. So often we are draw into discussion about hard economic times, tragic weather, disastrous world occurrences, another person’s misadventures or misfortune. In so doing, we lay foundations for similar negative experiences in our life. Discourage these conversations by refusing to be involved.

2. Feed your subconscious mind with positive statement or affirmations. when you get up in the morning, sit quietly alone and affirm only the best for yourself and the day ahead.  Find opportunities throughout the day to repeat your affirmations even silently to yourself- even for just a minute or two. If you tell your subconscious ten times a day for several weeks that “every day things are getting better and better for me now” you will soon begin to see it manifest in your life.

HISTÓRIA:

Filho de uma prostituta, e rapidamente transformado em delinqüente juvenil, Charles Manson nasceu no dia 12 de novembro de 1934. Passou por vários reformatórios durante a adolescência, respondendo por crimes como roubo e falsificação. Em 1954, após cumprir uma pena de 10 anos, Manson funda uma comunidade hippie que se intitularia “A Família”. Mais do que líder da família, Manson era uma espécie de guru espiritual para seus seguidores. Sua comunidade hippie vivia perambulando pela periferia das cidades, roubando, vendendo drogas, praticando sexo grupal e realizando rituais propostos por seu líder.

Charles Manson logo se tornaria fã dos Beatles e passaria a acreditar que o grupo compunha suas musicas especialmente para ele. Por isso Manson passava horas ouvindo as canções, em busca de mensagens ocultas que ele acreditava serem deixadas pelos Beatles para ele.. Quando o grupo lançou o disco “Álbum Branco”, ele gastou muito dinheiro fazendo ligações para Londres, tentando falar com John Lennonn e Paul Mcartney para dizer que já havia decifrado as mensagens.

No dia 9 de Agosto de 1969, “A Família” invadiu a mansão do cineasta Roman Polanski, em Hollywood. Eles assassinaram brutalmente a esposa do cineasta e dois casais de convidados que se encontravam na casa, fazendo um total de cinco vítimas naquele dia. Sharon Tate, 26 anos e esposa de Roman Polanski, estava grávida de oito meses. Seu corpo foi perfurado 16 vezes por uma lâmina de baioneta e depois fora enforcada. Estudos posteriores da perícia mostraram que o bebê sobreviveu por muito tempo após a morte de sua mãe. O verdadeiro objetivo de Manson era se vingar de Terry Melcher, antigo morador da casa e produtor dos “Beach Boys”. Manson acreditava que Terry havia roubado uma de suas músicas, mas no auge de sua loucura não percebeu que Terry não morava mais ali.

Na noite seguinte o grupo fez mais vítimas: Leno e Rosemary La Bianca, proprietários de uma rede de supermercados. O casal também teve sua casa invadida e foi brutalmente assassinado pelos seguidores de Charles Manson. Eles foram mortos com dezenas de golpes de garfos e facas, e na parede foi deixado escrito em sangue: “Death to Piggies”(morte aos porcos). Esse assassinato é atribuído à musica “Piggies” dos Beatles.

O objetivo dos assassinatos planejados por Charles Manson era começar uma guerra que, segundo ele, seria a maior já travada na terra, denominada de “Helter Skelter”. O nome corresponde ao título de uma música dos Beatles onde, de acordo com Manson, havia uma maior quantidade de mensagens subliminares. Uma guerra entre negros e brancos, em que os brancos seriam exterminados. Ele acreditava que algum negro logo seria acusado pelos assassinatos, o que faria com que os confrontos explodissem logo. Como ele e sua “família” eram brancos, planejavam esconder-se em um poço, denominado por Manson como poço sem fundo, em algum lugar no deserto californiano, assim que a suposta guerra começasse.

Linda Kasabian, uma das integrantes da comunidade e testemunha ocular das mortes em Cielo Drive, resolveu fugir e denunciar Charles e os outros integrantes à polícia, além de depor em seu julgamento em troca de imunidade. Ela não concordava com os assassinatos, apesar de ter presenciado alguns.

JULGAMENTO E PRISÃO

Charles Manson e seus seguidores foram presos e acusados pelos assassinatos.
Finalmente Manson deixou de lado sua figura de pacifista inocente e afirmou seu profundo ódio pela humanidade, acusando-a de rejeitar a ele e aos seus seguidores. Posteriormente foram revelados seus verdadeiros motivos: Manson era um grande racista, que planejava cometer seus crimes brutais contra ricos brancos para que estes fossem atribuídos a negros e se iniciasse uma onda de perseguições contra os negros de todo o país. Atualmente muitos artistas da música têm idolatrado Charles Mason de forma pregando sua libertação.
Seu julgamento foi o maior, o mais caro e o mais midiático julgamento nos EUA até então.
Contudo, ainda em 1972 a pena de morte foi abolida no estado da Califórnia… As penas foram transformadas em prisão perpétua, com possibilidade de condicional.
Na época, Charles virou uma espécie de celebridade, com muita gente o defendendo. Virou, depois, objeto de filmes, livros, músicas e até ópera.
Segundo o promotor, Bugliosi, “hoje, quase todo grupo minoritário e rejeitado da América, dos satanistas aos neonazistas, encampou Manson e os venenos de sua virulenta filosofia. Ele se tornou o ícone espiritual deles.”.
Em 1971, seis membros da Família tentaram roubar 140 armas de uma loja, e foram presos. O objetivo era tentar resgatar Manson.
Manson, hoje com mais de 70 anos, ainda é o prisioneiro que mais recebe cartas nos EUA. Neste período, já teve algumas punições dentro da prisão (especialmente a “solitária”), inclusive por tramar o assassinato de um presidente dos EUA (Gerald Ford), tentado por uma de suas garotas (que pegou perpétua). Já foi penalizado também por vender drogas lá dentro. Muitas vezes teve problemas com outros internos, e já foi, supostamente, envenenado, espancado e até mesmo tentaram colocar fogo nele. Também relata abuso sexual. Em 1974, foi diagnosticada uma psicse aguda.
Seu “x” na testa foi transformado em uma suástica nazista. Em uma entrevista mais recente, disse: “Eu não sinto culpa. Eu não fiz nada pelo que deva me envergonhar.” Sua condicional foi negada inúmeras vezes. Nem sempre ele comparece à audiência – uma vez, mandou apenas um cartão do jogo Banco Imobiliário: aquele que diz “Saída livre da prisão”…

O grupo se reuniu em torno de Manson tentando protegê-lo. Manson não estava presente em nenhuma das chacinas de seu grupo, mas a promotoria conseguiu provar que ele fora o mandante dos crimes. No julgamento, três de suas seguidoras tentaram assumir sozinhas a autoria dos assassinatos para inocentar seu líder, mas seus depoimentos não foram aceitos e Charles Manson e todos os seus seguidores foram condenados à prisão perpétua, exceto Linda Kasabian, uma das integrantes do grupo que garantiu sua imunidade proporcionando evidências contra Mason e os outros membros da família.

ENTREVISTA DADA POR CHARLES MANSON A UMA REDE DE TELEVISÃO NO ANO DE 1981:

É interessante a discrepância entre o comportamento, hoje, de Charles e do restante da Família. Nenhum dos outros nega que tenha participado dos fatos, e todos falam em arrependimento. Manson, ao contrário, nega qualquer participação nos eventos.
Em uma entrevista concedida a um programa de TV em 1981 (de conteúdo semelhante a todas as outras concedidas antes ou depois desta data, por sinal), ele fala bastante:
* sobre a liderança que exercia: “Não sou a droga de líder de ninguém e não sou seguidor de ninguém.” “Eu disse: façam o que vocês quiserem.”
* sobre “Helter Skelter”: “Era uma música que algumas pessoas cantavam!”
* sobre a dor que causou: “Eu costumava ter que me deitar e tinha minha bunda invadida até eu não poder andar. Me fale sobre o que é dor… A dor não é ruim, é boa. Ela ensina coisas a você.”
* sobre seu psiquismo: “Eu nunca pensei que fosse normal. Nunca tentei ser normal. Eu não sei nada sobre o que é ser normal. Passei a minha vida inteira na cadeia, cara.” “Eu não gosto de receber atenção. A maioria das pessoas inseguras precisa de atenção. Eu não.”
* sobre os crimes: “Eu não violei a lei. O juiz sabia disso. Mas as pessoas não queriam ouvir isso. O juiz lavou as mãos.” “Só porque você foi condenado em um julgamento, isto não quer dizer que você é culpado de alguma coisa.” Fica irritado com o entrevistador, por ele acreditar em tudo o que leu, e diz que ele parece um “advogadozinho”.
* sobre o assassinato do professor de música: “Eu apenas cortei a orelha dele.”; afirma que teve motivos para isso, mas os explica de maneira bem vaga
* sobre seu envolvimento no caso LaBianca: “Nada é ‘sim’ou ‘não’.” Enrola bastante e não responde, começa a falar sobre preservação de baleias…
* sobre o plano de matar outros artistas: “Se eu quisesse feri-los (harass) então eu deveria simplesmente não assistir a seus shows.”
* sobre sua vida atual: “A prisão está na sua mente, cara, como você bem sabe.” “Se me perguntam ‘Você está preso?’, eu digo ‘Não, eu simplesmente estou aqui’.”
Após a entrevista, o repórter falou da impressão que teve de Charles: “Eu acho que ele tem tanto medo de nós quanto nós temos dele.”.

ÁLBUM ONE MIND :

O álbum, chamado One Mind, foi lançado em 7 de abril de 2005, mas sem publicidade. Porém em 2007, foi apresentado novamente de forma gratuita pela Internet.

O disco está disponível na rede através do selo fonográfico Family Jams, propriedade de Manson, e com a licença Creative Commons, que permite que qualquer pessoa possa reproduzi-lo ou copiá-lo contanto que não seja para fins comerciais.

Esta iniciativa já foi usada por grupos como Radiohead e Nine Inch Nails.

Opinião pessoal: Eu já escutei e tenho esse álbum e realmente não recomendo o download do mesmo, digamos que como cantor Charles Manson é um ótimo serial Killer.

My only function here is to be happy.  Is that difficult?  At times, yes!  I cannot be happy if you are not.  I have to extend my light, my joy into your mind, because you are me!  I have recently taken up massage to offer my love and healing energy to everyone.  I find myself so happy after I have done this, that I cannot imagine what took my so long to do it.

I have been in the healing arts for a long time and have trained my mind and have been miraculously healed of every disease, including depression and anxiety.  I only know that I asked for help all along the way and the answers kept coming in.  All forms of lack, littleness and fear are being removed from my mind.  I came to offer this healing light energy to the world.  I don’t have any other function.

I love A Course in Miracles.  It is what healed me entirely of my dream of death.  I know that I am eternal and therefore so are you.  I cannot continue to pretend that this is not true.  Human minds are really pathetic in that they always misuse their mind.  It is time to really become aware that surrender is the key. A relinquishment of my ideas is how I give myself to the totality of the experience of oneness, of love, of divinity.

Thank God there is a loving God who knows not of death, sickness, suffering or fear.  He knows not of it.  He has already healed your mind of this idea.  Your job is just to accept it.  Can you accept that you are perfect, whole and complete.  A perfect reflection of His Love?

Wayne Dyer has been teaching this on PBS recently and I am always amazed at the simplicity of the message.  It is great.  It is time.  I love knowing that the message of divine love is the one thing the human consciousness is finally embracing.  It is the Answer to all the conceivable problems of human existence.

My suffering and depression led me to A Course in Miracles.  It is really amazing how it occurred.  It is a simple story.  Basically, Jesus woke me up out of my dream of death, fear and anxiety.  I had had enough pain.  I asked for help and I was given A Course in Miracles.  This is demonstrated beautifully in the movie: A Course in Miracles Unleashed.

Love came and got me and showed me that all this was an illusion and that I didn’t belong in an illusion.  It was dramatic and ecstatic and I left this world.  This is really only one experience of a continuing reunion I have with God and all my brothers.  I connect into the ONE MIND all the time. I feel more and more in love every moment.  I cannot believe this has happened and I am so grateful.

I can only give of myself right now totally and feel this love flowing through me.  Can you feel it?  I am here.  There are many awakened brothers on the planet now bringing in a lot of light.  I hope you find your connection to this light and write to me.  I am so grateful that you have found this light and are learning that it is all you want.  IT IS EVERYTHING.

Jesus led me into this light along with the Master Teacher and many awakened minds who are with me. Let me know if you need any help.  I can only give, because God only gives.  Giving is the only way to experience abundance, pure, full abundant love that is what you are.  Give, give and give more than you feel comfortable giving.  It is the key to happiness.

You can only give to yourself, there is only ONE MIND… so give totally and you will know who you are.  Keep giving to everyone and everything.  Don’t worry about the future, or how you will survive.  You will be given all the support you need if you only give.  You will discover yourself and your loved ones all around you are only waiting for you to give yourself to them!

What have you got to lose?  You cannot lose if you always give.  You receive as you give.  You are ONE MIND.  There is no loss because God is love and you are that love.  I know it seems simple. IT IS! Because God is total simplicity.  There are no complications in love.  You complicate it.  You put demands on it.  Just let it be what it is and you will be free.  Just be yourself and give and you will know who you are.

Again the ministry is not about individual goals, but the purpose is helping others. As a group of saints at a local church, we should be likeminded, and of one mind. Both of these words are used in one verse, it seems like Paul is trying to make a point. Even though everyone is different, from different backgrounds, different status, we are the same in Christ. So the thing that gives Paul joy was for the saints to have a mind that was like the other persons pertaining to the gospel. We are to have the same love, considering the other person before you, and to be of one spirit concerning each other and the ministry. ONEMIND is the goal and purpose of the book of Philippians, to think the same, to speak the same and act the same, concerning ministry. How? Because we all have the same mind, which is the mind of Christ, which comes from Christ being the head of the body, in which we are all members.

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

We are going to take a look the next few days at what seems to be one of the themes of the book of Philippians. These were a group of saints that understood their position in the body of Christ and Christ being the head, but not acting that way all of the time. There were many types of people, from upper-class to the down and outers and everything in between. They were to think of each other the same way because God sees them the same and is no respecter of persons. As Paul is talking to them in the first chapter, he tells them that their lifestyle should be one that shows the gospel of Christ, and the love of Christ should shine through. Paul lets them know that whether he is with them or not, he wants to hear that they are standing in unity in the spirit and in mind. Working together for the purpose of the gospel, so that others may be saved; The goal of ministry is not the ambitions of one person, but a group of saints having ONE MIND to see people saved and come to understanding the truth.

Pues sí, pese a todo, Charles Manson sacó su disco de psycho -folk, al que intituló One Mind.

Manson, líder de la secta que asesinó brutalmente en 1969 a una embarazada Sharon Tate, la mujer del director Roman Polanski, entre otras personas, presentó un disco que distribuirá de forma gratuita por internet, a pesar de seguir como recluso en la Prisión Estatal de California (EE.UU.),

No es la primera vez que Manson presenta un disco para financiar su defensa: El 6 de marzo de 1970 editó el Lie: The Love and The Terror Cult (Mentira: El amor y el culto de terror)l. Una de las canciones de ese álbum ya era conocida, porque uno de los que militaron en “La Familia” (y se retiro a tiempo) fue Dennis Wilson de los Beach Boys, y la grabó en algún momento.

Toda la plata que recaudo por la venta del disco, no sabemos si fue mucha o poca, no fue suficiente ya que fue sentenciado por conspiración el 25 de enero de 1971, y el 29 de marzo de ese mismo año fue condenado a la pena de muerte. Esta sentencia fue más tarde cambiada a cadena perpetua después de que la Corte Suprema aboliera la pena de muerte en California y otros estados americanos. Al día de hoy, Manson sigue preso y todas sus solicitudes de libertad provisional han sido rechazadas.

El asesino, que es parte ya del argot popular gracias a Marilyn Manson y el cover que Axel Rose cantara para el disco “The Spaghetti incident” de Look At Your Game, Girl; como bonus track.

El álbum One Mind se lanzó previamente el 7 de abril de 2005, pero sin publicidad. Ahora, fue presentado nuevamente de manera gratuita por Internet.

En 1970, Manson publicó el álbum “Lie: The Love & Terror Cult” para financiarse el juicio por el asesinato de Tate.

El infame asesino seguirá en la cresta de la ola en los próximos meses, ya que la actriz Lindsay Lohan fue confirmada en marzo como protagonista de “Manson Girls”, donde la joven encarnará a uno de los miembros más leales de la secta de Manson.

Lohan, de 21 años, interpretará a Nancy Pitman, una mujer que creció en una zona rica de Malibu (California) y a los 16 años conoció al asesino a través de un amigo común, cayó en su embrujo, se mudó con él y se convirtió en una de sus más fervientes seguidoras.
