We continue to see more frequent examples these days of our leadership in this country and in other countries gravitating closer and closer to global government.  The reasons for global governance continue to be brought forth to us on a more regular basis in what appears to be a greater degree of seeking for justification of it to the American people who are generally resistant to it.  It will take something extreme and of grave danger to us, or the thought of the possibility of it, to make us agree to such a departure of our independence.  That is exactly what is known by those leaders who continue to salivate over the possibilities of increasing their power and control over others.  Therefore, to achieve the end goal of global governance they must get everyone to the point of acceptance of it somewhere along the time line ahead.

One of the more obvious examples of this is the “global warming” debate which is being debunked by more and more scientists now and is not believed by the majority of the American public.  We have this skepticism justifiably because of findings such as is reported this week on WorldNetDaily in which some hacked email reveal strong suggestions of fraud to support the need for a global accounting system to tax everyone for their carbon emissions.  The Dutch government is going to be taxing drivers by the kilometer starting in 2012 and will use global positioning devices to track their citizens for the purpose of sending them a bill for their usage.  The international community has been moving closer to adopting a global system of currency to be justified by the recent problems with the dollar, debt, and unstable economies all over the world.  Undeniably, the cause of combating terrorism worldwide has brought us closer and closer to global control.

Further examples could be given, but it is easy to see the general trend now.  The founding fathers of America understood a principle that is being lost today.  It’s a phrase that has been for many years and it hasn’t lost its truth:  “Absolute power absolutely corrupts.”  The citizens of this country do not need to seek to give over the independence that we have left out of fear or for any other perceived need.  If we do, we will most assuredly not continue to lead in the world, but will be a group of followers.  Who we will be following won’t be God.

To explain “New Moon” the film, you not only must compare it to the books but to the style and praise of the previous film.

Disclaimer: I am not a critic, nor a genius, nor have I ever written a review. These are just my thoughts on the film. Just me talking about the pros and the cons. If for any reason you feel this doesn’t meet your standards then stop. I am just a fan of the books sense they’ve come out. I have read the books instantly as they came out after discovery the first novel Twilight from a friend. I read it before anyone had gone Vampire crazy, and before New Moon came out. So I have liked the novels a long time. Don’t get me wrong though, as much as I am satisfied with the plot line of the most of the novels I find the author disappointing.

The Author: Stephenie Meyer came and went like J.K Rowling. The author wrote a great story idea but the writing itself was nothing special. There are writing mistakes an experienced author would not make. Stephenie Meyer’s works aren’t master pieces by any standard of literary work. She got this far as J.K. has because she gave the public a nice plot line that made readers drool over pure romance. The same way that Romeo & Juliet are still read in modern times though not modern whatsoever. Yet, the author of Twilight progressively got worst. Lacking in keeping up with the true story she had started with and progressively developing into an almost different story by her fourth book. Change occurred as money in her wallet developed. The later books came solely for the money. After all she did say it herself that she only meant to write two novels and she ended up with four. Most of all I lost my respect entirely of her. Due to the fact that she  personally wrote a letter on her website telling fans of her distaste at the manuscript of Midnight Sun being released online by one of her people and basically telling the readers punishments will happen for it by her not finishing the novel and releasing the draft on her website for all eyes. This action of so outwardly blaming her loyal fans of which some refused to read it even though they could. Shows the fact of how power-hungry she has become to lose track that these people  are devoted to supporting any action taken by her then to just be kicked in the gut for having done absolutely nothing. Plus, it was clearly her fault for the release for trusting the wrong people.

Twilight: My review of twilight the novel. I give it five stars. The characters felt real, relate-able, and consistent. The writing was neither completely poor nor amazing. It was very average like when a friend ask you to read something they wrote. It was properly written and is definitely for a young person that could not acknowledge mistakes. It was written rather childishly, like an adolescent wrote it, which makes it in essence easier to relate to Bella. Although Stephenie Meyer says it was written for  older crowd like individuals like herself, Twilight would not cut it. Most adults would not totally dismiss it, yet it would not have had as great a turn out as it had with the young adult readers. Overall, it is by far the best novel of the Twilight Saga. This is very bad for the rest of the books because they cannot meet up to the standards of the first novel.

New Moon: This novel is clearly the worst of the four novels to some and to others its just seems like a small stepping stone. This novel feels like it was a filler episode in the series.  It filled in some gaps and brought in some ideas for the future books but over all I feel it was a waste of time expect for a few expectations. If the novel had just contained the first bit with Edward and summarized Jacob’s developing character and had the final chapters of the novel it would be better. Basically keep the beginning, the end, and shorten the middle  a lot then this novel might just be ok. Reading this I just felt like get on with the point of the story already, I get it shes depressed move on already, and Jacob is ok but his no Edward. The thing is Edward made Twilight big no matter how you see it and New Moon containing very little Edward is well boring.

Eclipse: This book should have been the last one. It solves the resolution that had started in the first novel almost completely. Though something would need to be added to make this the end and make it amazing instead it wasn’t the last one. The novel seemed to drag on in the middle like New Moon yet it contained some more interesting facts. The end was thrilling, the beginning is forgetful because I literally can’t recall the beginning. Eclipse was nothing special, it was better than the second but still could not compare to the first. Most readers that I spoke to feel that the Bella everyone had fallen in love with in Twilight and people could relate to had become someone utterly different. I get that characters in novel can grow up and change to but this was a radical attitude change in the series. It just felt like a different person with the same name.

Breaking Dawn: By far the worst of the books in the series to most. This novel has the same character ideals of same names, vampires, werewolves, and fight for good. However this novel seems almost unrelated to the rest to the series. The main characters seem almost like strangers to fans of the series. The actions and plot line of the story are just out-of-place with the rest of the series that most people are disgusted to call Breaking Dawn the end of the Twilight series. This book is entirely like a filler episode to the climax. Then as the reader reaches the climax disappointment is waiting. Some of the ideas or passages of the novel are what the fans of Twilight had been waiting to see, yet with the personality change of characters, mainly Bella, made those passage unbearable to enjoy fully. The beginning plays with the exact answers to  that of the readers questions of  “what would happen if this happened.” The middle didn’t really make sense and seemed to be implemented for a shock effect. The end was a the biggest fail and disappointment for readers looking for a little more action.

Twilight the film: Disappointment. Comprehension that the novel can’t literally be brought to life but it was painful to watch almost. The acting by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson was horrible. Neither of them can properly act. This is no surprise sense Catherine Hardwicke tends to favor actors and not properly look for actors that can act. The effects in the film were unimpressive and lacked realism. A lot of the details that made the novel famous were left out. Scenes were added that just wasted time in the movie and were pointless. The camera work was done poorly and overall failed in properly symbolizing what the novel was all about. Twilight basically had been butchered to shreds for fans of the novel.

New Moon the film: In comparison to Twilight, the film, New Moon was amazing. The effects were much smoother, there were more of them, the camera angles were nice, and it properly symbolized what the Twilight Saga is about. The actors of the first film were kept and brought down the movie. Due to the fact the worst actors in the film are the lead actors. However one lead actor stands out from the rest. Taylor Lautner was amazing. His acting skills carried the film and made the character Jacob look outstanding. Compared to the novel in which fans didn’t like not having as much of Edward in the film I feel better not having Robert Pattinson on-screen. His acting was literally a joke and Kristen Stewart is so emotionless and seems more like versions of  Keanu Reeves. The film kept very close to the novel, but the film brought the novel to life were the novel had failed. The fail was much more entertaining and accomplished in the areas that novel lacked. It had a much more concrete ideas of romance between Edward and Bella. It brought out the feelings of the novel while still being able to introduce the added plot-line of the werewolves and the Volturi. In the end it was a great film. It was better than Twilight the film and New Moon the novel.

Eclipse/Breaking Dawn the films: As the Twilight Saga rages through the media, I hope success on the future films, and wish for certain actors to get some talent, while the rest of the cast stays gifted in their roles. Much appreciation to the actors that play….

White House to Begin Push on Immigration Overhaul in 2010

The Obama administration will insist on measures to give legal status to an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants as it pushes early next year for legislation to overhaul the immigration system, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said on Friday.

In an address at the Center for American Progress, a liberal policy group in Washington, Ms. Napolitano sought to dispel any notion that the administration — with health care, energy and other major issues crowding its agenda — might postpone the most contentious piece of an immigration overhaul until after midterm elections next November.

Laying out the administration’s bottom line, she said it will argue for a “three-legged stool” that includes enacting tougher enforcement laws against illegal immigrants and the people who hire them, and streamlining the system for legal immigration, but also what she called a “tough and fair pathway to earned legal status.”

A tough and fair pathway? Here’s an idea: DEPORT THOSE ILLEGAL SACKS OF SHIT and make them go through the LEGAL FUCKING PROCESS of becoming a LEGITIMATE, TAX PAYING CITIZEN. Or, we could take the DangerB approach to handling the massive illegal alien problem we’re facing:

With unemployment surging over 10 percent and Congress wrestling with health care, advocates on all sides of the immigration debate had started to doubt that President Obama would keep to his pledge to take on the divisive issue of illegal immigration in the first months of 2010.

Iberia, the Spanish airline, today approved its merger with British Airways (BA).

At a board meeting, the Spanish airline agreed the new airline will have its financial headquarters in London, according to reports in El Pais, the Spanish daily.

The merged BA-Iberia carrier will be chaired by Antonio Vazquez, the current chairman of Iberia. It is also expected that Willie Walsh, BA’s chief executive, will retain his role at the merged group. It is not clear what position Martin Broughton, BA’s chairman since 2004, will hold within the merged operation if the UK airline board approves the combination.

BA’s board is also meeting to discuss the merger. Earlier today, the company said: “Further to recent market speculation, British Airways confirms that the British Airways and Iberia Boards are holding separate meetings today, 12 November, to consider a potential transaction. However, no decisions have been taken and, at this time, there can be no guarantee that a transaction will be forthcoming. A further announcement will be made in due course, if appropriate.”

Setelah hingar bingar drama penangkapan Ketua KPK non aktif Bibit – Chandra. Diikuti dengan fenomena dukungan luar biasa dari sejumlah tokoh , Facebook dandilanjutkan dengan drama pemutaran rekaman penyadapan Anggodo di Mahkamah Konstitusional.

Benar – benar merupakan salah satu nikmatnya hidup di Indonesia, realityshow nya mantap – mantap, dan hiburan heboh drama manusia, tersedia gratis setiap saat.

Sore hari selepas jam 6 sore – WIB, sesampai lagi di kantor saya menyalakan TV dan meyaksikan drama berikutnya di TV One, Si Anggodo sang bintang hari itu hadir memberikan counter – kali ini saya cukup terkejut, karena punya nyali juga orang ini.
Adegan berikutnya munculah sang pengacara dari KPK , dan tiba – tiba saja entah kenapa simpati saya terhadap Bibit dan Chandra menjadi berkurang karena arogansi yang dipertontonkan oleh pengacaranya.
Posisi di atas angin sore itu dalam sekejap telah merubah perilaku pengacara KPK – Chandra M Hamzah menjadi mulai terlihat seperti para Jaksa dan aparat Kepolisian yang dituduhnya arogan dan sewenang – wenang, dengan senyum yang terlihat meremehkan dan berbicara tanpa mau memberikan kesempatan pada orang lain.
Entah kenapa tiba – tiba saya merasa begitu cepat sebuah arogansi baru dipertontonkan.

Pagi ini, semua berita , posting di Facebook, BLOGsphare dan Twitter, masih meneriakan kemenangan yang sama atas penangguhan penahanan Bibit dan Chandra, dan masih memaki Polri, Kejaksaan dan tentunya si Anggodo yang sedang berada pada titik nadirnya.

Saya berpikir, apakah saya yang aneh, apakah hanya saya yang merasakan keangkuhan sekejap para Pengacara Bibit – Chandra, dan apakah memang benar Bibit – Chandra tersebut 100% orang bersih ?

Betapa cepatnya reaksi sesaat orang – orang di sekitar saya.

Saya hanya berpikir, Polri , Kejaksaan dan KPK adalah satu kesatuan yang seharusnya memiliki tujuan sama.
Apajadinya bila setelah ini KPK lupa diri dan bermain gila dengan kekuasaannya?
Menyadap siapapun yang dianggap ancaman, lalu menggunakan rekaman penyadapan tersebut sebagai alat atau senjata demi kepentingan pribadi.
Apa jaminannya itu tidak akan terjadi ?

Alih – alih membuat sebuah mekanisme untuk mencegah inbalance antara ke 3 institusi ini terjadi, masyarakat, media , sebagian besar terhanyut menjadi penggembira, meneriakan yel – yel bagi para pemenang dan mencaci pihak yang dianggap zalim dalam DRAMA SESAAT BIBIT – CHANDRA .

I read this and feel that I can not express in my own words what the author has conveyed. So Here is the entire article, very insightful:

Did you think that another “czar” would be talking about restricting talk radio? That there would be plans afloat to subsidize newspapers — that is, to create a situation where some newspapers’ survival would depend on the government liking what they publish?

Did you imagine that anyone would even be talking about having a panel of so-called “experts” deciding who could and could not get life-saving medical treatments?

Scary as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the standpoint of freedom. If you have a mother who needs a heart operation or a child with some dire medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out against an administration that has the power to make life and death decisions about your loved ones?

Does any of this sound like America?

How about a federal agency giving school children material to enlist them on the side of the president? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is apparently not enough.

How much of America would be left if the federal government continued on this path? President Obama has already floated the idea of a national police force, something we have done without for more than two centuries.

We already have local police forces all across the country and military forces for national defense, as well as the FBI for federal crimes and the National Guard for local emergencies. What would be the role of a national police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him? It would seem more like the brown shirts of dictators than like anything American.

How far the President will go depends of course on how much resistance he meets. But the direction in which he is trying to go tells us more than all his rhetoric or media spin.

Barack Obama has not only said that he is out to “change the United States of America,” the people he has been associated with for years have expressed in words and deeds their hostility to the values, the principles, and the people of this country.

Jeremiah Wright said it with words: “God d— America!” Bill Ayers said it with bombs that he planted. Community activist goons have said it with their contempt for the rights of other people.

Among the people appointed as czars by President Obama have been people who have praised enemy dictators like Mao, who have seen the public schools as places to promote sexual practices contrary to the values of most Americans, to a captive audience of children.

Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those people more thoroughly before appointing them are missing the point completely. Why should we assume that Barack Obama didn’t know what such people were like, when he has been associating with precisely these kinds of people for decades before he reached the White House?

Nothing is more consistent with his lifelong patterns than putting such people in government — people who reject American values, resent Americans in general and successful Americans in particular, as well as resenting America’s influence in the world.

Any miscalculation on his part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are. Fox News is now high on the administration’s enemies list.

Nothing so epitomizes President Obama’s own contempt for American values and traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year — each bill more than a thousand pages long — too fast for either of them to be read, much less discussed. That he succeeded only the first time says that some people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question — and the biggest question for this generation.

I wonder if PM Najib was a fan of the Police? As I was listening to some of the Police classics tonight suddenly I remembered the song One World (from the album Ghost In The Machine) and I can’t help thinking if Najib got the idea of 1Malaysia after listening to this song?

This tune has a political message with strong reggae beat just like any other ska bands in the 80s. I remembered memorising the dance steps Sting had for this song and probably the only time I tried emulating it in my room during my school days. The song certainly has one of the best drumming by Stewart Copeland, probably the most under-rated drummer in the rock world.

so, really – what IS a Zook??

well, it’s actually a real thing, yes, it is. originating in about 1625-35 – here’s more from the GetZooks website:

Merlin67 left a comment on our blog, Poor Richard’s Almanac, yesterday that our friend Ben and Silence Dogood have been discussing ever since. Thanks, Merlin, for giving us food for thought! We’re still not sure what we think of it. Merlin said: “An antipathy, however mild, to foreignness is indispensable to the creed of localism, which seeks to make our economic worlds more intelligible by shrinking them.”

This is deep stuff, folks, and it had us first nodding, then shaking, then scratching our heads. I guess at the end of the day, our thought is, “Say it ain’t so!”

Our friend Ben and Silence are big fans of supporting our local communities. If we don’t support the small businesses and farms and craftspeople around us, the very local color that created this unique place where we’ve chosen to live will die, replaced by faceless condos and Wal-Marts and McDonald’s that look the same anywhere, everywhere. We don’t want to live anywhere. We want to live here, where we’re surrounded not by generic townhouses and strip malls but by family farms and country inns and incredible folk festivals. But here will only be here if we support the people who make here possible.

So yes, we’d rather support our local organic CSA and our many local farmers’ markets and the grocery stores that carry local produce than the ones who encase out-of-season fruits and veggies in plastic after they’ve been shipped thousands of miles. If we need new coffee mugs, we’d rather buy handmade mugs from local craftspeople—preferably made from local clays—than head to a department store for something generic. We’d rather buy our books from the used book store and our DVDs and CDs from the used music store in the nearest small town than buy them new from a big chain, and buy our clothes, furniture, and collectibles from local flea markets and antiques stores and thrift shops and consignment stores than buy new (and usually ugly and/or cheaply made and always generic) from a chain, however discounted their prices. We like one-of-a-kind, vintage stuff, and we also like supporting our neighbors who, like us, are trying to make a living where we are.

But it wouldn’t occur to us that this makes us anti-foreign. We use imported spices to cook our locally-grown food, and cookbooks from far-off places to create great dishes. We buy incense and ornaments from India and Austria, jewelry and fabrics from Guatemala and Turkey, ceramics from Morocco and Mexico, music from Scotland and Tibet. What we love about the products of other lands is exactly what we love about those produced here: That they be handmade, not mass-produced; that they appeal to our aesthetic sense; that we see a story, and a history, when we look at them. We believe that, by supporting the artists and artisans and craftspeople, the small-scale producers, of every nation, we can “make our economic worlds more intelligible by shrinking them” without having to shrink our global outreach.

In today’s global community, it is foolhardy indeed to assume that every dollar we spend doesn’t have a global impact. It is up to us to consider where we’re spending our money, and why. But to turn our backs on our own communities is madness. Our friend Ben and Silence are convinced that our first obligation is to support the people who are trying, through the work of their hands and hearts, to keep individuality in community alive and thriving, to love our neighbors as ourselves. And then, we need to do the same for those who are trying, through their artistry and commitment, to do the same throughout the world. They, too, are our neighbors, and deserve our loving support.

Whether we’re buying an Amish quilt or an Indian coverlet, handmade fudge from a family farm in Ohio or homemade bread and jam from a Mennonite farmstand just down the road, a sandpainting from the Southwest or a handcrafted soap from Botswana, we want to feel that every choice we make has made a real difference to real people. In a way, it’s the opposite of anti-foreignness: We’d like to do everything in our power to keep rich, diverse cultures alive, rather than see them go down to generic crops and stores and homes and fast-food joints and factories. We’re all in this together, and for our money, diversity and community, small-scale production with global distribution, are the things we’d like to support.

Way back on March 25th, I posted an article entitled Obama Makes Big Push for One World Language.  The story was about how President Obama was going to replace English with Esperanto as our official language as part of his New World Order.   After several Esperanti (The Esperanto speaking Illuminati) visited my blog, I followed that article with another one entitled Blogger Threatened after Exposing Obama’s Plan.

While those two posts received a lot of attention, most of it was to tell me I was full of it.   For the next 6 months, they sat in some dark corner of cyberspace waiting to be uncovered by the people who could best help propagate them.  A week ago, I signed on twitter to be attacked by somebody who had read my article.   He asked me if I did any research before blogging.  I told him that I watched Fox News very extensively, but evidently that wasn’t good enough.   This Twit actually had the nerve to accuse me of destroying conservatism’s intellect with my posting.  I tried to assure him that it wasn’t possible, but he would hear none of it.  After our conversation, I was still wondering one thing–why is he tweeting me now?

It turns out that my story on Esperanto had made it’s way to certain conservative circles on twitter.  Later I would see it on popular blogs on the right like Sodahead where the story has earned 74 comments and 8 raves from the regulars.   Over the last two days, I’ve noticed a large number of Facebook users linking to my Esperanto story.   This whole incident has reaffirmed my faith that we conservatives are the best people on the planet.   Liberals would have wanted proof or at least logic, but my fellow conservatives knew my heart was in the right place and took me on faith alone.   Sure, my blog has evidence for my accusations.  After all, innuendo and supposition are a type of evidence.  However, this hasn’t stopped God fearing people from sea to shining sea from being outraged.

The struggle to replace a duly elected President so that we can return this country to it’s constitutional roots is a long and uphill climb.   However, I am confident that with people like the ones who have flocked to my blog supporting us, we cannot fail.   It may be too late to save English unfortunately, but I have it on very reliable authority that Obama will be calling out the National Guard if necessary to make sure that we convert to the Metric System.
