We have released a new feature today, available for Corporate and above accounts: Rating Scale questions.

With a rating scale question it is possible today to rate/evaluate and calculate scores in your survey. A rating scale question in the most general way, looks just like a single choice matrix question that has labels on both left and right sides. However, this can be changed to only have row labels on the left. In the header, rating values can be displayed. The scale values can be any numbers, so you can rate from 0 to 10 for example or from 5 to 1, etc.

The question editor looks like this:

The question in the live survey looks like this:

The report with a rating scale question looks like this:

We have created a sample survey that has 2 rating scale questions (questions 1 and 3): Employee evaluation of the company and supervisor.
The report for this survey can be accessed here: report.

An analysis of the feedback received by CBSE about CCE in 2010 via an online survey resulted in a few insights. It helped affirm the CBSE chairman’s concerns about the myths that surround CCE.

A quarter of the respondents feel that CCE does not benefit students in any manner.

30% of the respondents feel that CCE will take away emphasis from academics and give more importance to co-curricular activities.

Almost half the respondents feel that there are problems in the way the CCE system is being implemented at the school level.

Almost a quarter of the respondents think that Formative Assessment (Assessing FOR Learning rather than Assessing OF Learning) is overloading students and parents. This should not be the case ideally, as formative assessment is a method to aid in the learning process.

IF the CCE system is the right way to go, there seems to be an issue in terms of its understanding & implementation. The later part of the report lists a few common myths associated to CCE & attempts to correct them. Similarly, CCE encourages Formative Assessment, which has been a successful method used in schools all across the world, but has gathered negative feedback in terms of work pressure on students and parents.

If you haven’t read the other one, you can check it out here. Well, there are lots of ways to make money online and the most easiest way of it is certainly just taking up online surveys, right? Yes, taking up surveys–but how?

Just a month ago, our IT Instructor in my college told us about how to make money online. He told us about that stuff because he wanted us to become more productive individuals, and I don’t know what that means. For me, that sounds a little bit too serious, LOL:)

Well, here I am right now posting this article. But, the purpose of this is that I just want to share this to everybody the things that we have learned from our Instructor. We can actually earn money taking up surveys in GlobalTestMarket.com. If you don’t know about that yet, then you better check it out if you’re one of those people like me who wanted to earn money in the internet.

GlobalTestMarket.com is legitimately established online market research site. By sharing opinions for taking up online surveys in GlobalTestMarket, a member will be rewarded of what they call MarketPoints as well as sweepstakes entries. If a member will earn a total of 1000 MarketPoints, that MarketPoints can be redeemed into cash for $50 U.S. dollars. And yes you’re right again, it’s $50 U.S. dollars! Why? I don’t know. They just feel like it.

In GlobalTestMarket.com, it is totally free to sign-up and receive online surveys about stuff like movies, restaurants, automobiles, products, events, and other several topics that will interest you. The key success in this kind of money-making online is to be honest of who you really are. You must complete your profile and fill it out honestly.

Now, let’s talk about the payment method. Well, there’s only one way of claiming your money. It is only through check. So, it is really important to fill out your profile with complete honesty. You must provide proper and valid email address of yours, your complete name, and your mailing address.

Currently, I have earned 200 plus MarketPoints in GlobalTestMarket and still counting. 800 MarketPoints to go. $50 U.S. dollars here I come! Haha:)

Wow, we can’t believe how quickly 2012 has flown by!

As we approach 2013, now is the time to revisit your previous year’s marketing strategy and begin preparing for the New Year. Take a few minutes to reflect on the current year. How did your business change or grow? Did you introduce any new products or services? Did customer sentiment improve?

Most likely, your business experienced changes in 2012 that will require modifications to your existing marketing strategy. At Upbeat Marketing, we specialize in marketing strategy and follow a strategic planning process with our clients that is outlined in detail below:

1. Market Research – Market research is a great way to solicit feedback from your advisors, past, current and prospective customers, and to learn from the people who matter most. Here are a few simple ideas that are easy to execute:

Host a Focus Group – These can be formal or informal. We recommend groups no larger than 6 people so that everyone’s voice can be heard. Develop a list of 10 questions, and set a time limit for each question to help you stay on task. If you expect sensative feedback from customers, it may be better for the business owner(s) or key decision makers to leave the room (or perhaps not even attend) so that participants feel comfortable enough to provide candid feedback.

Schedule Interviews – One-on-one settings provide an intimate atmosphere for digging into the details. Schedule three interviews with valued customers, unhappy customers or business advisors and ask them the pointed questions that will lead to business growth. Listen to their feedback and try not to be defensive — constructive criticism will only help you improve!

Send an Online Survey – During the busy holiday season, face-time with customers and advisors may be difficult to manage. Consider sending an online survey instead (surveys can also be the perfect compliment to your Focus Groups and Interviews). Don’t be afraid to ask the tough questions that you REALLY want to ask — and be sure to include detailed answer choices as well as an open field for ”please explain.” Take advantage of online free survey tools like SurveyMonkey.com to easily review and track survey responses.

2. Marketing Strategy - Don’t wait to put together an action plan for 2013. Your Marketing Strategy will guide your decisions throughout the year, and it is essential to any business. Schedule a planning session and think through these key elements:

Goals & Objectives – What are you hoping to accomplish this year? Do you have a specific sales goal or perhaps a desired position in the market? Set clear goals for 2013 and put check points in place to measure your progress along the way (metrics are gold).

Target Audience – Do you have a clear picture of your ideal client? Did your target audience change or remain the same in 2012? It is important to understand customer sentiment surrounding your products/services and to learn the purchase behaviors of your target audience. If you are unsure of your target audience, take a look back at your purchase data and social media metrics for customer demographic information. You can also include demographic-related questions within your online survey.

Lead Generation – How does your ideal client find products or services like yours? Once they find you, do you have a sales team in place to qualify leads and ultimately make the sale? Familiarize yourself with the Inbound Marketing Process and create a plan for attracting and servicing your target audience.

Marketing Challenges – What challenges did you face this year? Did your competitors beat you to the punch? Spend time addressing each challenge as a team and brainstorm creative ideas. Consider how you might overcome these challenges in the year ahead.

Marketing Budget – As you begin to draft your action plan, consider the expected financial and time resources you’ll need to set aside. Rather than making a “game-time” decision every time a marketing opportunity arises, outline your budget ahead of time and execute your marketing campaign with confidence.

3. Messaging Platform – Messaging rounds out a marketing strategy by ensuring that you’re saying the right things to the right people. We recommend drafting a formal Messaging Platform that outlines your most important company messages. This platform will serve as an internal working document throughout the year and will inform all future messages, including Social Media, Email Marketing, Radio Ads and more.

If you already have a messaging platform in place, now is a great time to revisit those messages and assess how well they represent your business (in light of all the positive growth you experienced in 2012, right!). Here are the primary components to consider:

Mission Statement

Vision Statement

Positioning Statement (click here for a sample)

Tagline

Primary & Secondary Messages

Proof Points or Supporting Statements

We thrive on strategy and thoroughly enjoy the process of getting to know your business and planning for your success - let Upbeat Marketing take the lead on your 2013 Strategic Marketing! Contact Upbeat Marketing at 512-222-7141 or info@upbeatmarketingaustin.com.

Happy Holidays!

When it comes to moustaches, Indians are second only to the Mexicans!

This is the finding of an online survey by Hotels.com, an online accommodation bookings firm.

The global survey was conducted to mark ‘Movember’— a moustache-growing annual charity event for raising funds and awareness about men’s health, which starts today.

According to the survey, the moustaches of Indians and Germans jointly shared the second place, bagging 12 per cent of the online votes, while the first slot went to the Mexicans with a massive 41 per cent of the votes.

Kazakhstan was at the fourth place, with 10 per cent votes.

The Britons bagged the fifth position with 6 per cent votes, followed by Austrians and Russians with 5 per cent each, and the French getting 3 per cent of the global votes, says the survey.

An online survey software program makes market research simple. One does not have to create from scratch the questionnaires and templates which are required for this exercise. It is also very easy to analyze the survey results since the software would automatically produce the graphs and charts which would give the analyst all the information needed.

But while choosing the ideal survey software, it would help if the buyer kept certain things in mind. First of all, the researcher needs to be clear on the purpose of the survey. The type of questions being asked in the survey and the type of responses that the researcher wants would determine the questionnaires being prepared and the templates that would be used. The software is ideally used in two forms. One is market research and the other is scientific research. Most consumers are familiar with market research which involves questions on age, product preferences and favorite brands. The opinions and the answers, which the public gives, directly affect the marketing strategies of the businesses. Scientific research on the other hand is a more specialized form of research.

Based on what the purpose of the survey is, the researcher can shop around in the market for a suitable and affordable solution. By reading through a few survey software reviews, one would be able to understand the pros and cons of the software that is currently available in the market. The researcher can then purchase the software that he finds suitable and affordable.

Dear US Census Bureau, I know you guys have to do your job and it’s important to know who the

Dear US Census Bureau,

I know you guys have to do your job and it’s important to know who the “American people” are and where our money should go, but please do me a favor: digitize your questions and make it an online survey.

You sent me this huge packet with an important survey, the American Community Survey, and I spent literally 2 hours filling it out with all these personal information about my family. I then get inundated with belligerent calls from a Census worker confirming all my marks and asking me a ton of more questions.

It’s ironic because the time I was filling the form out and talking with the Census worker, I had lost wages that I couldn’t report on the form. I can see why the NY Times thinks you’re going to end soon.

In small print, you wrote: “The Census Bureau estimates that, for the average household, this form will take 38 minutes to complete, including the time for reviewing the instructions and answers.” Someone lied to you, because it definitely does not take 38 minutes.

You should also include in small fine print somewhere that you’ll be calling me on my cell phone non-stop at my work hours, at night during dinner time, on Saturdays early in the morning to ask me more questions because your form wasn’t long enough already. Literally spent 25 minutes on the phone with a complete stranger. I don’t even think I talk 25 minutes an entire week with my best friend! You think I have 25 minutes to talk to someone random?!

Why digitize and make it an online survey? It’ll cost you and me a lot less in the long run.

1. It’s cheaper. Have you heard? The US Postal Service is going bankrupt, defaulting on their payments last month. Your huge packet meant you had to have a service worker carry extra weight both ways. Then you send extra copies of the huge packet just in case I didn’t get the first one. I don’t think paying the US Postal Service your US Census money makes sense. I don’t know about you, but taking money from my left pocket and pulling it in my right pocket doesn’t pay the cashier for my groceries.

2. It’s faster. 2 hours. TWO HOURS! I wasn’t even paid to do it. I LOST money doing it. Put it online so I can just click all the check boxes and type everything out faster. My Auto-Form filler on Google Chrome could have answered half those questions alone! Not to mention you don’t have to have someone call me because my 6 looks like a 0. Wouldn’t be a problem with online typing! I’m sure you have to enter all the results on a computer anyways, just skip the middle man who has to type it all up and save money!

3. It’s cheaper, still! That’s not even counting the Census worker who kept blowing up my phone. I talked to her for 25 minutes and the answer to almost every question was “No.” And it was a Saturday! How much are you paying this lady to stalk me on my phone and ask me private questions? I know she needs a job, but I’d rather you just email me a form and I’ll fill it out when I have time, you know, when I’m not working, or eating, or SLEEPING. I feel bad for her because at minute 2 of the conversation, you can tell she was tired of asking these questions and having people being annoyed at her. At minute 10, I really needed to go pee and I just wanted off the phone. At minute 15, I had decided she wasn’t going off the phone so I went to the bathroom with her. By the end of the 25 minute conversation, we had shared an intimate, private moment of me relieving myself as she learned about my family’s finances.

This was just a suggestion. Please don’t hunt after and torture me with more questions. I don’t mean to hurt your feelings, but I just don’t have the time nor energy to keep doing this with you. I have a feeling it’s happened before with other people, and it’s going to happen again if you don’t change your ways.

With kind regards,

OompaLoompa

The phone is ringing again. I think it’s her… oh no, not again…

written by Nurati “Ati” Sinaga

On a Sunday afternoon, I overheard an intriguing conversation when passing by a luxury brand store in Orchard Road, an ultimate shopping heaven in Singapore. A teenage girl said “Oh, this is the correct spelling for brand MM that my mum bought a couple months ago.” From her accent, I knew this girl was a foreigner and I reckoned she was talking about counterfeit products. Out of curiosity, I slowed down and heard she said again, “my mum bought it with a very cheap price for grade xx of this brand.” Interesting… there are grades within counterfeit products and wonder if the buyers could differentiate them?

As a market researcher, I started wondering about the implications of the counterfeit products to survey data. No doubt they will affect the data quality of brands being studied, potentially increasing awareness and usage data and/or even non-sense brand perception. How do researchers validate the figures? In face-to-face interviews, on the spot checking of product used (pantry check) sounds like a good idea… but how well could the interviewers identify the original? On an online survey, are providing images good enough?

Digging further, the top ten product categories most often counterfeited (by value) are drugs, electronics, software, foods, auto parts, toys, movie piracy, music piracy, clothing and shoes. About half of the products listed are regularly the subject of surveys.

From a country perspective, US, Mexico, Japan and China are the top four countries losing money due to counterfeit products. If a survey is conducted in developing countries, people may not even be aware the products they have bought are counterfeits and potentially their answers could be ‘innocently’ false. Whilst in more developed countries where people are expected to be more knowledgeable, they would answer the survey with ‘original brands’ in their minds ……or would they?

To be consistent with the 2012 Presidential Election and the campaigning we will all see over the next month, the Research Bunker introduces: Decision 2012 featuring the Telephone Survey Versus Online Survey.

The two candidates have long been combatants in the market research realm and we have decided to place them head-to-head in a methodology debate in an attempt to settle on one choice for your business needs (because the suspense was killing us). Many have said the telephone survey methodology is on the way out, while Internet or online surveys – including those done through mobile devices is the wave of the future. But which is the better choice from a client perspective? Below is the Decision 2012 transcript from the Telephone Survey and Online Survey debate.

Moderator: Thank you all for coming today to be part of the telephone survey versus online survey debate. I will be your moderator for this evening’s events. I will simply make sure both parties stay on track. Please do not confuse me with a focus group moderator. This is much more boring than focus group moderating. I am stuck moderating a debate between two theoretical objects/services and how it relates to market research. But hey, it could be worse. Let’s get back on track. Telephone survey, do you have an opening statement?

Telephone survey: First off, I was invented by Alexander Graham Bell, ever heard of him? Yeah, he was one of the most influential figures in American history. Whereas the Internet and my debate partner, the online survey, has several different contributors/developers and doesn’t even know who their inventor was. I’ve been around since the mid-1870s and I plan on being around in market research for a long time. In fact, over the generations I’ve been able to improve myself and spawn off distant family members like cell phones and smart phones, which are used in market research today to field calls as many respondents list them as their primary phone number.

Moderator: And your opening statement online survey?

Online survey: Well, simply put, I am the wave of the future. Market research respondents like me because they can complete a survey at their convenience, not when my debate partner calls them at dinner time. I provide multiple avenues to complete surveys as well – desktop computer, laptop, netbook, tablet, smart phone, even some dumb phones. Market research teams can send out an invite for a survey and virtually have the majority of their fieldwork completed in a day or so. Also, because I am not using staff to complete any work (e.g., telesurveyors on the phone for 5-10 minute clips over the course of 400 completes or more), I tend to be less expensive. Face it grandpa, people like me. Get used to it.

Telephone survey: Whatever the online survey thinks they gain in turnaround time and cost, I make up for it with better communication. When respondents are filling out your online survey and they type an answer to an open-ended question and click next, the market research team has no opportunity to probe deeper on what they mean. For instance, if the survey question is: “What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of the ABC Store?” If the survey respondent answers “busy” and clicks next, you won’t know if that is “busy”-good or “busy”-bad. It could be good because the store seems lively and energetic, but also could be bad because there may be long lines or little access to customer service. I can probe on that and give the client more accurate results. You can’t. I am also more personable. Survey respondents are doing market researchers a favor by participating in studies, so it allows my telesurveyors to personalize the call and make the experience more enjoyable than clicking a mouse. People hate your happy face slider scales.

Online survey: People love my happy face slider scales. Research shows they smile as they slide them. Scientific fact (I think). I would also argue the data quality for my online surveys is better than your telephone surveys. With respondents being able to complete the surveys at their convenience they are likely to be in a better mind frame when doing the survey and not be distracted, like at the time you call – when they are with the children, at work, etc. They also have all the time in the world to respond to my open-ended questions and not face the chance of being accelerated through a survey to meet quotas or stay within a budgeted timeframe of length.

Telephone survey: I would argue the data quality for my surveys is much better because we have professional staff administering the survey and proofing the data before they submit each telephone survey case. It doesn’t really matter, the end-all point is I am more representative of a given target audience than you are, online survey. I can dial through samples randomly to create a margin of error for my surveys. I also eliminate any bias that your surveys might encounter because not everyone is comfortable with a computer, has the Internet, or a smart phone. Usage of panels causes some major concerns with how representative the surveyed audience is. It may take longer and cost more but I can guarantee that my survey results will be more representative than a panel and most online surveys.

Online survey: But you can’t guarantee it. Not everyone owns a phone, and it’s very difficult, if not impossible to geographically target a cell phone sample. Couple that with the erosion of landlines and your methodology is on the ropes. Like the rotary dial in the 1980s.

Moderator: Okay, we are out of time, any closing statements?

Telephone survey: I think it’s time you stop capitalizing the “I” in internet. You’re not that important anymore.

Online survey: Enjoy your bridge game tonight while you eat your Grape Nuts.

I have had a macrophilia fantasy ever since I was a child and I recently decided to create a survey

I have had a macrophilia fantasy ever since I was a child and I recently decided to create a survey related to it. The macrophilia fetish involves sexual fantasies often of a giant woman or of one shrunk to be small compared to a normal sized woman. Some fantasies involve a gentle and loving giantess while other involve acts of violence by the giantess.

I wanted to understand the origins of this fantasy. Why do some of us fantasize of being small and of a woman who is powerful enough to be able to squish us as if we were bugs? Are there things that might be common and unique to people who have this fetish? Have others felt at one time weird and lonely with their fantasy, thinking that no one else shares the same thoughts? How often do such thoughts come to mind? Do many giantess fans feel, as I sometimes do, that there are negative aspects of their fantasy?

At the time of writing, the Giantess Fans Survey has received 189 responses. The survey, as it was written, was limited to respondents falling under one of the two groups:

The respondent fantasizes of being little compared to a giant/giantess/giant couple.

The respondent fantasizes of being a giantess and interacts with a small man/woman/couple.

For this reason, and it may be quite unfortunate, respondents responding that they fantasize of being a giant/giantess/giant couple while interacting with another giantess/giant/giant couple were unable to complete the survey. 7 responded that they have no interest in giantess fantasies. Of the 182 remaining responses, 30 were forced to skip most of the survey questions as the non colored cells in the following table show. This study takes into account only respondents from the yellow colored cells.

* Among the 14 responding that in their fantasies they are a giant woman fantasizing of a giantess, 12 are male respondents.

I posted the survey in various forums having to do with the subject of this survey. Of the 189 responses, following are where most responses originated:

Giantess City – 134 responses

Giantess Shrine – 28 responses

Google – 1 response

Unknown – 6 responses

One might argue, as pointed out by one member of Giantess City that the survey may be somewhat biased: ”Participating in this survey was a considerable time commitment, (given how long most people are on these websites). This may have weeded out several causal fans only interested in masturbation material. Hence the more gentle/romantic nature of the responses, which are more story driven, as opposed to the usual crush/vore and foot flavor that sometimes seems to dominate this fantasy.”

General Statistics

8.6% (15 of 182) of respondents were women.

Average respondents’ age is 27

Average height: Men 5’11”; Women: 5’8”

For male respondents above 40 (15 responses), 46.7% have a wife and 20% have a girlfriend. It would be interesting to compare with the general public.

In the fantasies the giantess/little man/little couple is most commonly a girlfriend (18.4%), a stranger (17.7%), a friend (16.9%).

Most commonly (36.4%) the little person is about the height of the giantess’ ankle.

10 is the average age for when the fantasy first started.

Most common interactions within fantasies: conversation (11.1%) , kisses (10.8%), hand held (10.8%), feet (10.4%), crush (9.6%), Licks (8.9%), Insertion (8.8%), Hugs (8.5%), Demolition (7.3%), Vore (6.2%).

37.1% prefer a gentle and loving giantess while 6.3% prefer a very aggressive giantess. Most of the remaining respondents (42%) chose ‘at times gentle and other times aggressive’.

Among female respondents interacting with a little man/little woman/little couple, 4 (50%) prefer to be gentle and loving, 3 (37.5%) prefer to be ‘at times gentle and other times aggressive’ and 1 (12.5%) prefer to be very aggressive.

For respondents having a spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend, 62.7% know that their partner is aware of their fantasy

Among those having partners who are aware of the fantasy 43.2% play along with the fantasy, 37.8% sometimes play along and 18.9% do not play along.

12.5% are open to sharing their fantasy with family. Among these, moms for 20.8% are aware and 6.3% of the dads. 40.8% are open to sharing their fantasy with close friends.

Respondents are most commonly attracted to breasts (25.8%) and feet (21.2%). Among female respondents the order is Face (46.2%), Belly (23.1%), Mouth (15.4%).

Favorite physical trait in a real life partner: being tall (16.6%).

Favorite character traits in a real life partner: having a good heart (15.9%), smart (13.5%) and gentle (12.8%).

11.8% would not like a real life partner similar to their fantasy partner.

For the average respondent, a thought about this fantasy comes to mind from several times a day to every few hours.

The average respondent spends 5 days viewing related content on the internet for an average time of 2 hours.

29.1% think there was a specific experience that may have triggered their fantasy.

13.9% think the fantasy originated as a result of a certain (non-sexual) need.

48.3% think there may be negative aspects of having giantess fantasies.

3.9% think that the fetish negatively affects their life.

61.8% once thought that they were just about the only person to have giantess fantasies.

Analysis of ‘free text’ questions

Some questions within the survey included space to write free text. I will try to categorize the more common answers for some of these questions. Note that while some free text questions received more responses, others received few.

Several respondents described an experience that may have first triggered their giantess fantasies. These experiences mostly fall under these categories:

Watching a movie / TV (22 responses)

Growing up around taller siblings/cousins/friends (5 responses)

Reading a book (4 responses)

Seeing or experiencing crushing a bug or squishing clay with feet (3 responses)

Meeting a taller girl (3 responses)

Babysitter (2 responses)

To the question whether the respondent thinks the giantess fantasies may have originated as a result of a non-sexual need, most responded with No/’I am not sure’. 5 responses relate the origins of their fantasy with the need to feel protected and looked after and 2 associate the fantasy with the need to feel loved.

There were various different answers among respondents who think there may be something in common between people who fantasize of giant women. The most common answer (6 respondents) think that the need for control/lack of control or being submissive/sexually submissive may be common traits for individuals within the giantess community.

Nearly one half of the respondents think there may be negativity associated with the fantasy:

19 respondents find that the negative aspect of the fantasy is that it cannot (or cannot easily) be realized. Some also wrote that since it cannot be a reality, it may be difficult to find sexual gratification or negatively affect a relationship.

16 respondents find the negativity is that the fantasy is uncommon or embarrassing or looked down upon.

6 respondents feel that their fantasy interferes with the realistic perception of women. For some this causes women to seem unobtainable.

5 respondents feel that the fantasy may be an unhealthy obsession. Some feel that they spend too much time, money and energy on the fantasy.

2 respondents feel that the fantasy is bundled with being over submissive and relying on a partner.

2 respondents wrote that the negativity lies in that their fantasy involves violence or them ending up dying.

How do giantess fans think the fantasy affects their lives?

5 respondents think that the fantasy positively affects their lives because it engages them socially and helps with creativity.

2 respondents wrote that their lives are not affected because they separate the fantasy from other aspects of life.

3 respondents wrote that their lives may be negatively affected because they seek only tall women.

2 respondents wrote that their life is negatively affected by spending too much time thinking of the fantasy.

2 respondents felt that their life is negatively affected by their inability to realize their fantasy.

2 respondents feel that insecurity and not knowing what others would think negatively affects their life.

Over 60% of the respondents once thought they were the only ones with this fantasy. Here are the responses to how they felt:

Alone (10 responses)

Weird (7 responses)

Like a freak (6 responses)

Not bothered (3 responses)

Unique (3 responses)

Crazy (2 responses)

No one to share the fantasy with (1 response)

Disappointed that others did not appreciate a gigantic woman (1 response)

Ashamed because of religious background (1 response)

Reinforced feeling of not fitting very well in society (1 response)

Other descriptions of the way respondents felt (1 response for each): depressed, horrible, strange, appalling, like a monster, odd, lost, like something’s wrong with me, insecure, embarrassed, like a pervert, an outsider.

Female respondents

15 respondents were female. Of them:

7 fantasizes of being a giantess interacting with a little man.

3 fantasizes of being a little woman interacting with a giantess.

2 fantasize of being a giant woman interacting with a giantess (as stated above, these are not included in this study).

1 fantasizes of being a giant woman interacting with a little couple.

1 fantasizes of being a little woman interacting with a giant couple.

1 fantasizes of being a little woman interacting with a giant man.

Of the eight who fantasize of being a giantess with a little man/little couple, one wrote that she may also fantasize of a giant man and another wrote that she may fantasize of shrinking and interacting with a giant woman. Of the eight, 4 are gentle with the little man/couple, 3 are at times gentle and at times aggressive, 1 is very aggressive.

Contingency charts

I would like to display some of the interesting results found from the contingency charts generated by the survey application. These charts try to find dependencies between any two questions in the survey.

According to the following chart, the more time one spends viewing giantess content, the more likely he/she is to think that there may be negative aspects of the fantasy. This pattern changes for respondents who spend every day (7 days a week) viewing giantess content.

Respondents spending each week:

Up to two days viewing giantess content over the internet – 32% wrote that there are negative aspects of having the fantasy while 52% wrote that there are no negative aspects.

three to four days – 39.1% wrote that there are negative aspects while 17.4% wrote there are no negative aspects. The rest (43.5%) were unsure.

five to six days – 65.6% wrote there are negative aspects while 15.6% wrote there are no negative aspects.

Interestingly, this pattern changes among those viewing every day – 50% wrote there are negative aspects and 42.9% wrote there no negative aspects.

The relationship between the frequency of viewing giantess related content and claiming the fantasy may have negative aspects

The following chart shows that while most respondents do not share their fantasy with close friends, it seems that the more frequently the fantasy comes to mind, the more likely he/she is to be open to sharing the fantasy with a close friend.

The relationship between how frequently a giantess thought comes to mind and the tendency to share the fantasy with friends

Among respondents claiming that their first giantess experience was at or before the age of 5 (there are 26 such respondents), 84% are 5’10” or below. This seems irregular considering that 5’10” is the median height for all respondents. This may suggest that being short or small compared to others at a young age can be a cause or a trigger for the giantess fantasy. This can also be seen by answers to the free text questions as stated above.

The relationship between height and when the giantess fantasy first began

Among those having giantess related thoughts from every minute of the day to every few hours, 21.9% think that the fantasy originated from some non sexual need. Among those having less frequent thoughts, only 6.4% think that their fantasy originated from a non sexual need.

The relationship between how frequently a giantess thought comes to mind and whether the respondent thinks that the giantess fantasies may have originated as a result of a certain non-sexual need.

For respondents above 30 years of age, fantasies where no one gets hurt are almost twice as common as respondents 30 and younger.

The relationship between age and the violent / non-violent nature of the fantasy

By Sherylle Tan and Claudia Raigoza, Claremont McKenna College

The number of women entrepreneurs has been on the rise for the past two decades (Jome, Donahue, & Siegel, 2006). According to the US Census Bureau (2007), women owned 7.8 million nonfarm U.S. businesses, an increase of 20.1 percent from 2002. This accounted for 28.7 percent of businesses in the United States. A relatively new trend in entrepreneurship is the idea of the “mompreneur,” defined by Entrepreneur.com as “a female business owner who is actively balancing the role of the mom and the entrepreneur.” However, at the same time that women are venturing into entrepreneurship, the media is claiming that many professional women are opting out of the workforce to take care of their children at home[i]. In 2003, Lisa Belkin first drew substantial attention to the “Opt-Out Revolution” in her appropriately titled article published in the New York Times Magazine.

Subsequent research on women leaving the workforce has suggested that women experience many pushes and pulls that result in some women exiting the workforce[ii]. A primary pull factor for many women has to do with family responsibilities, whereas push factors often have to do with workplace challenges that women experience which include hitting the “glass ceiling,” slow career advancement, and lack of work schedule flexibility.[iii] Interestingly, many of those same family pulls and workplace pushes are the same reasons that women enter into entrepreneurship[iv].

While the reasons that women enter in entrepreneurship are similar to the reasons that women choose to leave the workforce, it appears that the relationship is not so linear. There appear to be more complex reasons that account for why women make the career transitions that they do. The career decisions and transitions that women make during the course of their lives vary and are influenced by women’s life-stages. With the increasing number of women becoming entrepreneurs and seeking leadership through non-traditional career paths, it is important to identify and understand the important influence of life-stages in the career and leadership decisions that women make.

Here’s a riddle: At least one out of two people in the U.S. do this every day. Answer: Hang out on

Here’s a riddle: At least one out of two people in the U.S. do this every day.

Answer: Hang out on Facebook for about a half an hour.

As a business, you’ve got an open door to make an impact on a potential customer within this critical half-hour window. Consider Facebook promotions for your Facebook business page. You’ll not only build brand interest and strength, but you’ll be able to peruse and ponder dozens of analytics about who is engaging with you on Facebook.

Once you’ve got a company Facebook page, you must keep posting fresh, original content, incorporating links to your site, engaging in conversations with people who use your site and encouraging people to interact with you and your business because it will be valuable and meaningful.

One way is to use Facebook promotions, and the options can be creative, fun and effective. Even better: promos drive people to your Facebook presence when they might typically focus their time on their other 600 Facebook friends. Note: Facebook promos are required to be administered through an app, and you can’t count things like the number of Likes you receive as entries. Legal Zoom provides some guidance in a recent article.

What types of Facebook promos are available?
- Coupons: Make sure you’re encouraging people to go to your website in the coupon process, where they’ll be exposed to other offers as well – such as more discounts for signing up for your enewsletter or a whitepaper.
- Freebies: This is a solid method for building a buzz around your organization, fast.
- Contests: Encourage your Facebook audience to recommend your page to 10 of their friends.
- Surveys: Keep them short and simple, and don’t be afraid to post some positive or thought-provoking answers as topics of conversation.

What must I know about Facebook promotions?
-Before you launch your next great promo, know that you’re the responsible party for how the promo is handled, such as the rules and guidelines and conditions.
- You need to use Apps on Facebook to carry out your promotion administration.
- Everyone who gets involved with your promotion needs a Facebook release, and must be notified that your promotion isn’t at all connected with Facebook.
- Asking someone to Like your page or cast a vote by liking your page isn’t enough to officially count as making them registered for your promotion.
- Tell the lucky winner in a method other than Facebook, such as an email from your organization.

Facebook promotions can be an effective part of an overall content creation strategy that utilizes social media alongside other tools, such as emarketing, whitepapers, blog campaigns and great web content. Consider spending your next daily Facebook half-hour exploring some fun promo ideas that you can make all your own.

In yesterday’s post I shared the third lesson in successful Phone-to-Web recruitment, Perfecting the Hand-Off. Today’s lesson focuses on the importance of the right reward.

Lesson Number 4: Design the Right Reward

Unlike traditional consumer studies, Phone-To-Web Recruiting generally involves the promise of an incentive since respondents are required to self-motivate and engage in additional activity after the recruitment call to complete the research effort. It’s important to provide a reward commensurate with task. Incentives, provided upon completion, provide the necessary nudge to ensure participation in the online portion of the study and recognize the time-value of getting online and participating in your research.

Phone to web recruiting can be a valuable addition to any researcher’s toolbox. Although phone recruits can be daunting, done correctly phone recruits can bring the advantages of web research to hard to reach populations. By knowing your audience, measuring what you treasure, perfecting the hand-off and incentivizing appropriately you will ensure the success of your project.

Luckily, SSI has developed technology and project management solutions to make it easy for you. By following a few basic principles, a well-executed phone recruit can turn an impossible research problem into a triumphant success.

written by Aren Sorenson In yesterday’s post I shared the second lesson in Successful Phone-to-Web r

written by Aren Sorenson

In yesterday’s post I shared the second lesson in Successful Phone-to-Web recruitment: Measure What Your Treasure. Today’s lesson focuses on a critical point in the project: the Hand-Off

Lesson Number 3: Perfect the Hand-Off

The most important moment in a Phone-To-Web Recruit is the hand-off. Unlike a traditional telephone study, recruiting to the web means that there will be a moment of disconnect between when the respondent agrees to participate and when the survey is actually completed. It is crucial to minimize this gap, because the greater the amount of time that elapses between the recruit and completion, the greater the likelihood the respondent will not complete the web survey. We rely on three proven techniques to reduce the disconnect:

Instant Email Delivery

An email containing instructions to completing the survey (including the survey link) should be delivered while the respondent is on the phone with the interviewer. The smaller the delay from commitment to participation, the more likely the respondent is to follow-through. The respondent’s email address should be recorded and confirmed letter by letter.

Live Agent Support

Agents should encourage the respondent to open their email, confirm receipt of the instructions and open the survey link. This can significantly reduce issues in the instruction delivery process. Having the live agent on the line can help the respondent check spam filters, typos in the email address and facilitates a re-send if any issues do exist. Making sure the respondent has the materials necessary to complete the survey when you end the recruit call significantly improves the Conversion Rate.

Reminders Calls

You are competing for the attention of the respondent in a world of distractions. The respondent will often forget about their decision to participate or misplace the instructions. A gentle reminder call should be made for those who have not completed within 24 hours, followed by a second call at 48 hours. During this call the agent can re-send the survey instructions and re-confirm the respondent’s willingness to participate. After 48 hours, the likelihood of completion drops sharply.

Check back tomorrow for the fourth and final lesson in successful Phone-to-Web Recruitment

We often get asked why mobile surveys are better than the paper, scissor, stone (age!) systems to capture feedback from a group of people.

To be honest there is not one quick answer to that question, there are a list of them! Mobile surveys are:

Faster, cheaper and more environmentally friendly than paper-and-pen surveys;

More convenient and portable than web-based email surveys and suit the growing mobile world;

More scalable, flexible, quicker, and cheaper than for example a mystery shopper program and

Real-time, allowing you to make changes to surveys or questions that are instantly available when the next respondent answers your survey.

You also need to recognise that there is a difference between an online survey that is ‘web enabled’ (which is only as good as your internet connection as it loads individual website pages as you move through the survey, sized to your device) and ‘native’ (set to your device size, it downloads the survey in full so if you lose your connection you can still complete the survey).

Mobile surveys also give you secure and structured feedback that is more reliable than more recent review websites.

SurveyMe is a native survey app on IOS and Android platforms and has some unique functions that you do not get with most mobile surveys:

Allow you to conveniently offer incentives to respondents with rewards that automatically appear on their mobile screen after they’ve sent feedback;

Allows you to use intelligent QR codes to make accessing your surveys easier and fun;

Requires no hardware investment and

Gives free automatic software updates with no annoying PC installations.

Have you used mobile surveys? What do you think of them vs other methods? How many of you are looking for a mobile feedback solution for your business?

Try the SurveyMe app for free. It’s the fun and easy way to get ‘Point of Experience’ feedback.

What system will you use to make a decent income on the internet

From the statement above, you will automatically notice that I have not enclose or speak of a particular method, which you will tap to, in order to generate at least an average salary online for yourself. At this beautiful moment, I will tell you exactly which method I will teach, and lecture to you about on this paragraph. The system which you will be learning, and be educated in, is answering online surveys for many well respected companies across the globe. That is the secret weapon you will manipulate to attract mini success toward your domain.

To be more specific about this incredible opportunity

At this blissful moment, I am going to exert my energy in explaining to you readers about this golden system in more details in how all of this procedures operate step by step. If you have reach this far, then you should by now, know which type of technique you will be using to make more decent legal cash online for yourself. Okay, now how this whole entire process works. The first foremost important thing is to sign up for a free e-mail account either at Yahoo, Hotmail, Google, AOL or any other center that you are mesmerize by. You will use this e-mail specifically for all your online paid surveys. If you already have an existed active email account, then I strongly recommend that you don’t use that one, and create another seperate e-mail account, which is strictly for surveys usage only. By following this great advice, this will help keep your personal affairs from mixing or tangling with your online survey business. Once you have obtain one, now you will shift your attention on hunting for a legimate, and genuine online survey companies for you to participate in. I have some good news for you, that will strike a smile across your oval face. I have done all the dirty work for you already, by searching, and gathering all these online survey companies, and paste it on this magnificent website. So you don’t need to invest any amount of your energy or lift up a single finger in looking for one on the net. I posted these sites at the very bottom of this virtual page. Begin scrolling down this main page, and once you have reach to that destination, you will definitely see it with your own two eyes sitting there still, freezing like a statue. Once you have easily locate it, then move your mouse to that link, and double click on it. Wait a second or minute ( depending on the speed of your computer modem ), for the webpage to finish loading. Once the page is done loading, you should visiblely see the homepage of that survey institution. Take a quick tour around that site, introspecting it very closely, and read all the information about them that is neatly published on their territory or homepage, so that you can get a vibe or a idea who the heck they are. And make sure you totally understand all their rules, regulations, terms, compensation rewards, tax returns, payment options, and how you will receive your money. When you are finish glancing through their context with your razor sharp observation, and if you actually enjoy what you witness from their site, base from observing their content earlier on, then begin applying, and filling out their digital online application. To be more specific about the online application, you will fill out a brief personal profile or information about yourself. The reason for this is, so that they may know exactly which surveys would be the most appropriate to send to your email inbox in the near bright future. After you have inserted all your private personal information on their board, next, they will send you an email confirmation ( which you are require to click on in order to activate you members account with them ), along with your username, and password. You will use this secret key to log into your members account, to check out your payment balance, and what date they will ship or mail your paycheck to your doorstep. Save this information in a secure place on your computer or write it down in a notebook or in any other physical object that seems feasible. In a short period of time, you should start receiving invitations to take the online surveys, and soon, begin earning some handsome and rewarding paycheck. To recap everything to it’s simplest form, first, you will sign up for an active email account either with Yahoo, Google, MSN, AOL or any other service that you lust for. Secondly, your next mission is to begin registering to every each of the online survey companies that are sitting at the very bottom of this page. Once you have taken care of that obligation, then wait for a couple of days for the survey firm to send you your first survey assignment. When your survey has finally arrive to your inbox, then begin answering their questions. After long exhausted minutes of replying to their questions, and you finally have completed their questionaire sheet, then hit the done button, and it will automatically forward it back to the survey institution. In a few days or weeks, you will receive your paycheck in the mail or other methods, which both parties agreed upon. That’s simple.

You are always hire immediately

I would like to interject something to your awareness, that will definitely nourish your soul, and put a happy expression on your face. When you begin applying to these online survey companies, and after you have totally fill out their tedious application, you are immediately hired or accepted by the recruiters. You will never get rejected or softly get turn down by these wonderful survey institution, once you register to their database. I just want to throw that in, and inform you about this delighted situation.

Sample of a survey question

Within this segment, I am going to discuss in depth, and display an image of one of the survey questions from a company, so that you can get a clear vision how it looks like in reality. These questions are usually short in length, but not to overwhelming or long. Beneath the question, there are four sets of answers ( sometimes even more than that ) that is lined up vertically, and stacking on top of each other. Beside, and to the left side of the four or more answers, there consist of four or more tiny white empty boxes. Those white empty boxes is where you click on, to mark your answers. Understand! Note that, sometimes they don’t always follow the old traditional way of lining the questions vertically, but some companies prefer, and arrange it horizontally. Analyze, and observe the picture I have posted below this sentence to fully understand what I am trying to convey to your analytical mind.

I do not own the copyright of these two pictures. The first photo that is located at the very top, I took that from a website name, www.starshot.com. The second photo, I took it from a lesser known website name, www.infotool-online.com.

Honesty is the best policy

When you start to answer some of their questions about some particular product or situation, it is extremely crucial that you are totally honest with them up front. Don’t tell any lies or be deceitful, when you are busy taking their short or long survey. But if you don’t tell them or mark their answer square box truthfully about their gadgets or whatever they might ask you about, and fabricate or make up false stories, at the end, you can actually hurt them terriblely, by making them broke or lose a whole bunch of their precious money. So please, be righteous, and truthful, when navigating through their questions.

How much money can you make from this incredible opportunity

On this section, I am going to talk about earnings, and payments. I have a gut feeling, and intuitively feel that many majority of you viewers are just wondering inside the hemisphere of your bulky brain, how much can a single random person earn from this incredible opportunity working from your house? My word of wisdom is, if you have a strong desire to make tons of money or want to maximize your profit greatly, then be involve, and register to many legimate online survey companies on the internet. For instance, if you join only five or less survey companies, then you can bitterly expect to make less amount of money. But on the other end of the spectrum, if you sign a contract with at least eleven or more online survey institution, then you will bring in loads of cash beyond your imagination, and make a monster income that will sweep you off your feet. To simplify this, the more companies you register to, the more money pours into your pocket or purse. Also, I would like to add that this opportunity won’t make you extremely wealthy. This incredible opportunity can only make you partial or some extra cash at the side. If you want to make some serious money ( like bringing in at least or over one thousand to a million bucks a year ), then I highly advise that you check out this link, at http://paydotcom.net/r/11436/Arieajiol38/27078460/. In that official website, it will effectively show you how to make some big money that can lead you to retire early in your adulthood life.

Do not quit your full-time job just yet

I want to alert some important warning to you faithful readers at this minute. When you begin working through this program, don’t immediately abandon or quit your hourly job so quickly of the bat. I cannot guarantee you that, once you begin meddling with this golden opportunity, you will make a six figure income or at least a decent salary that can permit you to survive without having to work again. And if you do actually unwittingly leave or quit your job so fast, once you begin your exciting journey through this material, there is a possiblelity that down the stretch, you may face some serious consequences that can cause you many grief, and sorrow. Allow me to paint a clear vivid portrait how this can negative effect, and strain you internally. Let’s assume that you got started with this survey program, and the upcoming week, you immediately, arrogantly, and stupidly quited your hourly job just like that without taking the time to rationalize or dissect about this condition first. How about if one dark day, you came to a realization or discover that you are not generating or making sufficient income from this program, to support your fetish lifestyle or even pay off your utility bills? Now you are in danger zone. Eventually, you would attempt to try to call former boss, pleading, and asking him or her if you can come back to work for them. Sadly, they will politely refuse, and turn you down, by responding that they have enough staff already. And now you are in some nasty situation. Most likely, you will begin to worry about the security or the outcome of your future, fear having your electricity disconnected, and your home is in the edge of becoming foreclose. While frighten by the fact that you are in the verge or have potential of losing your own personal possessions or house, you will begin to reflect ack at the horrible decision you have made in the past for quitting your job so quickly, and severely regret it, wishing that you haven’t made that stupid choice of just leaving your stable job so fast for this incredible opportunity. This particular event I just described seconds ago can actually happen to anyone if you just leave immediately. Now do you fully understand why it is necessary to keep or cling tightly onto your full-time job without abandoning it, base from the written passage that is hoovering above this sentence? Here is my inspiring insight in what you should definitely do when you are in the middle of handling this operation at your nice kingdom. Do not quit your hourly job, but continue to work there regularly, while you answer online survey questions at your kitchen as your second job, doing it part-time. Do you understand that phrase? If you can overcome stubborness, and wisely follow my helpful advice, you can be assure to avoid unwanted trouble from occuring on your path, and be on safe ground. So listen to these caution, and take my words extremely serious to heart.

The procedure

Now that I am through with introducing you to this model, and explaining to you how all this component operates, I will now concentrate on guiding, and helping you get started on the right track. Be sure to follow the instructions that is engraved beneath this paragraph exactly the order it has been fashioned, if you want to succeed. There are approximately five stages that you must undergo or get completed on your behalf. Every each of these steps will highlight a specific agenda that you must fully fulfill with all your strength. Also, it is not that difficult to deal with, and shockingly, quite simple. During your registration, if you got stuck or confuse with certain element in their website, don’t try to seek me for assistance, but try to contact them, for they are more highly knowledgeable in this field than I am. They should provide a valid phone number or an email address for you to get in touch with one of the representative who are employed there, if you have any questions concerning about their property or website. Remember, if you are really serious about making lots of money, then I strongly recommend that you join all sixteen of these survey websites, which I have posted below this passage. The last thing I would like to mention to you is that, all these online survey sites are absolutely free to join. Also, I would like to make an important speech to you. You see the highlighted links below. You will not be able to click on it. What you need to do is to copy the link, and paste it on your web browser. Do you understand that statement? So let’s get started shall we!
