What a beautiful warm day we are having in New York today.  This look is perfect for hanging out with friends, going out to brunch and walking around the city letting the day and the streets lead us.

I love pairing purples with blues; the contrast of these two colors makes the whole look more attractive and fun.  I also love wearing vests and the statement they bring to any outfit.  Vests are very versatile when it comes to pairing outfits and you can find them in many different colors to bring that special touch to your looks.  I decided to tuck the scarf inside the vest so I didn’t cover its purpose.  I wore leather braided bracelets to give the whole look an edgy vibe.

Tip:  Make sure you incorporate vests to your wardrobe, they can bring elegance to any outfit… or when paired with jeans; they can give you an edgy look.

Dan and I are leaving for Dallas tomorrow morning to visit a friend and I am SO excited! I have never been to Dallas, but am looking forward to checking out what it has to offer. What’s better is that we will be there for Cinco de Mayo, and I hear it’s great to celebrate down there!

Atlantic-Pacific totally nails the whole “matchy-matchy” look here.  The stripes on her shoes match her top and the brown leather straps go perfectly with her leather jacket.  That said, she doesn’t look like she’s wearing a uniform or went out of her way to perfectly match her shoes to her outfit.  She looks effortlessly chic, which should always be one’s main goal. Also, I’m just plain obsessed with these shoes, they are strappy and patterned but also seem like they’d go with anything.  Definitely looking to get myself a pair!
