Here is Bilith! He thinks he is a God…that is…hilarious!

Steffy and Liam spend Monday in bed then Tuesday buying baby stuff. They head back home on Wednesday and check on Katie. Katie eventually wishes the new couple well. Then, Steffy runs into Hope in her (Steffy’s) office of all places. Hope knows Steffy is back. Steffy extends her hand in friendship to Hope but is rebuffed. Hope, who was thinking about the gondola incident earlier, declares Steffy unworthy of her forgiveness.

Caroline comes up with a fundraiser for her foundation in order to one-up Maya. Rick and Maya seem impressed by Caroline’s results, but Rick isn’t happy to be blindsided with the obligation of modeling bedroom wear. Oliver, Rick, Marcus, Carter and Thomas all take to the runway. Carter and Thomas seem way too much in their element. Rick asks Maya to dinner.

My take – I am sick of Brooke blaming Katie. The reality is Brooke and Bill have been lusting after each other for months looking for an excuse to cross that line. Now Brooke acts like she just thought of it when Katie took off? That’s like saying if she saw a random couple seem to break up in front of her, she’d go home with the husband if he was good looking. Brooke has lied claiming she didn’t see Bill in that manner. Katie reacted the way she did in my mind because of Brooke and Bill’s attraction and their refusal to keep their distance. How can Brooke be that dense not to see the cause and effect here? The fact is I don’t think she is. I think she wanted to force Katie to give Bill up to her, so she could have him while people like Donna gave her a pat on the shoulder. It didn’t happen, so Brooke is biding her time once again. Calling Bill aside wasn’t her letting go. She wants to wait for more problems to arise in that relationship. That’s why she’s continuing to nose around in that marriage in my opinion. I bet she’d be shocked to see how quickly Bill is reengaging with Katie. As long as a woman is attractive, willing to sleep with him and readily compliments him, it apparently doesn’t matter who she is. Of course, Bill won’t have to deal with any social flack if he stays with Katie.

I know Donna is in a no-win situation, but to feel sorry for Brooke at the end because she might be going through menopause? Yeah, I’ll admit that I was fooled by the menopause red herring. Yet, in my defense, I’ve never heard of hot flashes and dry skin as pregnancy symptoms. So, how is Brooke going to proceed? Will she use this to get Bill? Will she find a decoy like Whip to play daddy to the new baby? I don’t see her leaving the country for nine months. I wonder if Eric would be dumb enough to play as Whip in this scenario. He might decide it’s the only way to save Brooke and Katie from Taylor’s vendetta. Is even he that stupid?

One of the first things I thought of in regards to Brooke’s pregnancy was how Hope will react. On the one hand, Hope will be down about the affair. However, I doubt she’ll accuse Brooke of trying to trap Bill like she’s accusing Steffy of using the baby in order to trap Liam. Not Brooke who cries at the drop of a hat. And really how fair is that? Steffy’s extension of her hand in friendship was a lot like Hope’s last year, only I think more sincere. Though Steffy did feel badly for Hope, it didn’t seem like an apology to me, especially not for the gondola incident. I’m pretty sure Steffy has expressed regret about that one already. And let’s face it Hope seemed to be willing to let that one go until now. The only reason in my mind that everything seems to be an extension of Liam marrying Steffy is that it bothers Hope that Liam married Steffy. And it makes sense to me why it would. It should bother Hope. Last year, Liam gave Hope another opportunity to be with him, but he wasn’t willing to undo his marriage for her. That should have told Hope everything she needed to know, but Hope was determined to hang onto Liam. So, she went through all of these weddings as if that could erase the wedding that came before. And yet each attempt is ruined because Liam just won’t stop gravitating towards Steffy. The club incident was more about that in my mind than him kissing Steffy. After all, if Liam couldn’t remember the tattoo and the hair dye maybe he didn’t remember kissing her. And given Hope’s opinion of Steffy it shouldn’t be hard for her to assume that Steffy came on to him. Yet, Hope didn’t give Liam that benefit because it was too much of a reminder that he had married Steffy last year and still had feelings for her.

Even given all that, letting Steffy win isn’t something Hope seems to be able to stand. Then, she found out about the lies and she was able to convince herself once again that Liam was an unwilling pawn. So, she tried again to marry Liam but was blindsided by the pregnancy. Still, if Hope wasn’t caught up in what happened in Aspen over a year ago, she could have stopped Steffy from getting pregnant by taking Liam back or by giving him future hope at that point. She doesn’t want him under these circumstances, and can only see her way to taking him back when she can delude herself into believing the first Liam and Steffy marriage never happened. In the end, Hope was only willing to let the gondola incident go when she thought she could start over with Liam like it never happened. Now that she can’t, it’s the root of all of the stress she has had this past year in her failed attempts to reconcile with Liam. Like I said, Steffy already expressed regret about it. And it would be absurd to assume that Steffy would apologize to Hope for getting pregnant. Steffy doesn’t owe Hope anything as Liam is not Hope’s husband.

If Hope can’t forgive Steffy, that’s her issue. Certainly I can get why she doesn’t want to be Steffy’s friend. Still, it bothers me Hope doesn’t see that she needs to be forgiven as well, who doesn’t? Yet in the case of Steffy in particular, everything Hope has done to Steffy is justified in her mind given the gondola incident. But can’t Hope at least apologize for shoving Steffy? Hope didn’t know Steffy was pregnant, but she does now. She could have cause Steffy to miscarry. But clearly Steffy is beneath Hope in Hope’s mind and not worthy of any consideration. Hope can look past her mother’s sometimes obscene behavior, but is unwilling to see Steffy as anything other than scum. It’s almost as though all of Hope’s anger about everything that has gone wrong in her life is focused on Steffy. All I know is Hope is imperfect just like everyone else, and I’ll like her a whole lot more when she recognizes that. But given the way things change on this show, I am not about to say that Hope won’t rebalance herself and move on. I hope that she does. There seems to reason for hope in the spoilers.

I thought Caroline’s show was boring. The only choreography was when she held Thomas’s robe and waved herself as though she thought Thomas was hot. The other routine of Thomas’s and the one of Carter’s were obnoxious to me. What happened to Caroline being funny crazy? She was either trying to be sympathetic or catty in these scenes except in that one section with Thomas. I would have loved it if she had ripped off Brooke’s Bedroom sequence with Thomas, Carter, Marcus and Oliver as the random models and Rick filling in for Brooke. Now that would have been hilarious. Can you imagine the look on Rick’s face when they brought him out on that prop bed? I think Maya is feeling deflated. Rick seems impressed by Caroline’s philanthropy, but honestly he seemed really put off by her volunteering him to strip half-naked in front of a crowd. And he asked Maya to dinner on Caroline’s big night not Caroline.

I managed to outsmart my forever one step ahead of me bf! Just when he tot that his birthday surprise is next week, I actually planned two surprises for him instead!

So… Today is only part one!!!

Planning started maybe two weeks ago? And his friends got in-touch with me on the planning!!! It wasn’t difficult but to make it more real? Totally needs his pals to help! Haha

Katie and Bill are at “lunch” together. Katie is glad Bill took the “day” off. Bill thinks he should have done this before. Katie is grateful. Bill is smiling. A waiter wants their “drink” selection. Bill asks for “water”. Katie doesn’t feel that’s necessary. She ends up asking for “wine”. Bill asks for “scotch”. Bill wonders is she’s “going to” give him a hard time afterward. Katie denies it. Katie is determined to treat Bill differently. Katie accepts him. Bill is uncomfortable that she is so glowing with her praise of him. Katie apologizes for her prior uncharacteristic behavior. Bill notes she has had a rough time. Katie credits him with not giving up on her. Bill looks guilty. Katie is looking forward to “making it up to” him. Katie and Bill joke about Will being a lady’s man. Bill is glad to be married with a child. Bill admits he didn’t “do” right by her. He is determined to treat her well. He desires to keep her in his life. She reassures him. They kiss. He touches her face with his hand.

Two women arrive for the fundraiser. Danielle arrives and is impressed. Caroline takes her to her seat. Pam is talking to Brooke and Donna. She approves of Caroline’s shtick. Pam desired to see Bill half-dressed. Marcus and Carter are grousing about the show. Dayzee points out that they wear the same amount at “the Sky Lounge”. Dayzee is wearing a purple striped halter dress. They think this is different. Caroline comes up and asks about Rick. Brooke spies her “doctor” at the fundraiser. They talk about it a little.

Rick is with Maya. Maya approves of Caroline’s plan. Rick explains Caroline’s history with the foundation. He quips about “heels”. Maya is at a loss. He offers to explain that when he invites her to “dinner”. Maya accepts. Caroline comes up and kisses Rick. Caroline gushes. She thinks she will have plans with Rick later. Maya just looks at her. Maya expresses her enthusiasm about Caroline’s idea. Caroline tries to steer Maya towards Carter. Rick doesn’t appreciate it. Caroline notes she will be “enemies” with Maya later. Caroline wants Rick to encourage her. He does. She alludes to showing him a good time later. She kisses his cheek. Rick turns back toward Maya. She shrugs.

Caroline takes the stage. She starts a speech. Caroline expresses her gratitude. Rick seems moved. Caroline quips. Then, she becomes serious. She talks about Stephanie then Caroline. It gets confusing whether she’s talking about Stephanie or Caroline at some points. Caroline gets teary. They play the video. I think that is the same video from last year. I wonder how Brooke felt hearing how much Ridge “loved” Caroline. Rick seems impressed. Later backstage, Maya gives Caroline her approval. Caroline tries to get Maya to leave. Maya wants to stay. Caroline sighs.

Caroline struts onto the stage. She introduces the guys. First is Rick, who strips off his rope. Rick looks at Maya. Next, is Carter. He has this whole newspaper act going on. Eventually, he takes off his shirt. He makes notes of different women including Maya. Oliver is next. He is rather awkward but makes the best of it. Marcus is next pretending to smoke a cigar. Dayzee wants him to call attention to his ring. He does. Finally, is Thomas. Caroline helps him off with his shirt. She acts like he’s hot. All the guys come back without shirts to the song “Feelin’ Good (Ooh la la)” by The DNC. Caroline comes onstage and calls attention to Rick. She kisses him. She tries to get his approval again. She kisses him once more. Maya isn’t happy.

Brooke’s doctor pulls her aside after the show. She lets Brooke know she’s… “pregnant”! Brooke is stunned. She sits down. Her doctor looks at her almost disapprovingly. Brooke panics.

Bill is on his way to Eric’s office but gets sidelined by a picture of Brooke in her skivvies. He reflects on the conversation he had with her on Wednesday. He breathes. Caroline comes up to him. She is wearing a black sleeveless dress with a blue and green floral pattern at the bottom. She hugs him. Bill approves of Caroline’s idea. Bill won’t be there. Caroline understands about his spending time with Katie instead. Bill will contribute. Caroline smiles and laughs. She asks about Katie. Bill smiles. Caroline admits she isn’t a medical professional when she says Katie had a “heart attack” incorrectly. She grows concerned about Bill’s demeanor. Bill notes it was serious. Oliver, Carter, Marcus, Thomas, and Rick enter. Carter approves of Caroline’s efforts. Caroline wants Rick to feel the same way. Bill excuses himself. Caroline hugs him. She appreciates the visit. She is encouraging about Katie. Marcus seems a bit wary of Caroline’s plan. Marcus looks offended when Caroline notes this is going to be a larger deal than Dayzee’s. Thomas grouses about being pushed into this. Caroline starts to explain the concept. Oliver assumes it’s a “Hope For The Future” event. Caroline corrects him. Thomas thinks this has to do with “Brooke’s line”. Caroline finally tells them what the deal is. Rick seems surprised he’ll be “modeling”. The guys are taken aback. None of them enjoy being blindsided. Caroline pretends she meant to let them know. Oliver doesn’t seem to buy it. Maya walks in wearing a bright pink sleeveless dress. Caroline doesn’t appreciate her presence. Oliver notes Caroline called Maya by a different name. Maya approves of the idea. Carter explains some of it. Caroline desires for it to be hot. She emphasizes the impact it will have. Caroline grabs Rick. He breathes out deeply under her viselike grip.

Only Marcus seems confident with “modeling”. Yet, even he doesn’t desire to be half-naked. Caroline talks up how attractive they are. Apparently, the concept was a hit. Maya is impressed. Caroline is cocky. Caroline thinks she’s good at this. She attempts to get the men on board. Rick is upset she publicized this prior to speaking to him. Caroline assumed he would agree to it. Rick asks the men. Thomas likes Caroline’s foundation. Oliver is willing to find out how it’s done. Caroline will choreograph. She assigns Maya to assist Carter. Caroline begs for Rick’s assistance. Rick reluctantly agrees. Caroline is ecstatic. She hugs him. Maya doesn’t like what she’s seeing. Caroline glares at Maya with satisfaction. Later, Caroline is on the phone with the press. She talks up her idea. Maya approves of Caroline’s plan. Caroline wants praise from Rick. Rick is lukewarm, but she doesn’t notice. Caroline hugs him and glares at Maya again. Her plan seems to be affecting Maya but alienating Rick.

Katie and Alison discover an important memo on Bill’s computer. Alison is wearing a red v-neck top with dark pants. Bill walks in. Katie laughs when he surprises her. Katie offers “to deal with” the issue. Katie discusses all that she has “learned” from Bill. She wants to support him. She hugs him. Bill looks guilty. Bwa ha ha. Katie insists she will take care of things. Bill calls Alison into the office. Katie informs her that they will run the office that “day”. Alison is surprised. Bill then tells her that Katie is going to be eating lunch with her. Alison seems pleased. He wants to hang out with Katie today. Katie hugs him; Bill looks worried. Bill touches her face. He wants to be alone with Katie “more” often. He wants to recapture their lives. Katie talks about how badly she behaved. Bill notes he is flawed. Katie teases him. Bill approves. Katie believes in him. She hugs him. They kiss. Then, Katie hugs him again. Bill places his arm around Katie. He is staring into space. They place Brooke’s face next to the hugging couple.

Steffy need to take “off” for business reasons. She wishes Katie well. Katie is appreciative. She then calls after Steffy. Katie hopes for “the best for” the new “family”. She admits to having mixed feeling about attending the ceremony. Steffy is appreciative. Liam grins. Katie smiles. Steffy has left. Liam is glad about what Katie told Steffy. Katie was sincere. Katie notes he “made” a “decision”. Katie is sure Liam’s feelings for Hope remain. Liam is taken aback. Katie wasn’t intending to make the conversation awkward. Katie notes that his “feelings for Hope” are no longer important. Liam disagrees. Hope gets where he’s coming from. He talks about his contentment and excitement over Steffy and the baby. Katie nods. Liam wants to focus on the present. Katie gets it. She talks about her condition. She advises him to focus on Steffy and the baby. Liam nods. He seems a bit vulnerable.

Taylor, Hope, Brooke and Donna are assisting Caroline with her preparations. Brooke and Hope seem less than pleased by Taylor’s presence. Brooke is wearing a white top with a blue and black vertical stripe down the middle with black pants. Her hair is up; her hair looks nice. Hope is wearing a black sleep dress with a bright green floral overlay down the center. Taylor is wearing a brown jacket over a green dress. Donna is wearing a bright blue sleeveless dress. Taylor notes that Thomas is going to live at “the beach house”. She then worries she insulted Donna. She apologizes. Donna requests Taylor assist them again “later”. Taylor is game. She thinks Steffy might be as well. Brooke and Hope realize Steffy has returned. Taylor confirms it. Brooke believes the “traveling” probably took the energy out of Steffy. Donna regrets it when she mentions the baby. Hope grouses in the corner as Taylor discusses how Liam and Steffy went to see Katie. Taylor notes how important it is for people to support Katie. Brooke looks annoyed. She looks at Hope who forces a smile. Hope excuses herself. Brooke believes that Hope can bow out of the plans if need be. Hope leaves. Brooke confronts Taylor about the dig towards her. Taylor tells Brooke that she is Katie’s doctor. Taylor cautions Brooke over what could happen. Brooke is insulted and starts to leave. Right before she exits, she says she wants Taylor to do her own work. Donna is angry with Taylor for interfering with Katie and Brooke.

Taylor is taken back by Donna’s remarks. Donna thinks Taylor isn’t acting objective. Taylor talks about Brooke’s pattern of behavior. Donna is convinced nothing occurred. She continues to fault Katie for putting the idea in Brooke and Bill’s heads. Taylor is in disbelief. Still, Taylor gets where Donna is coming from. Donna isn’t convinced Taylor is right. Taylor is sure this is a pattern of Brooke’s. Donna gets defensive. Taylor desires to prevent bad things from occurring. Taylor advises Donna to look out for Katie. Taylor leaves.

In an office, Brooke daydreams about sleeping with Bill. Bill comes around looking for Caroline. He is about to leave when she calls out to him. Brooke claims to be merely interested in Katie. Bill reassures her. She is more interested apparently about Katie and Bill’s relationship. It is going well. Bill is too busy with Katie to assist Caroline. Brooke is taken aback. He wonders why. She is preoccupied with her fling with Bill. Brooke knows she needs to forget. Bill admits it is on his mind. Bill doesn’t want to discuss it. Still, he touches her face. She can’t forget. He hugs her. Donna walks in as Brooke is crying. After quite awhile, Brooke pulls away and looks up at him. Donna clears her throat to make herself known. Brooke pretends Katie was the subject of their little interlude. Bill leaves. Donna brings up Taylor and what she (Donna) told Taylor. Donna tries to be reassured by Brooke. Brooke turns away. Donna keeps at it. She mentions that she would be able to tell if Brooke betrayed Katie. Donna says her name. Brooke turns a guilt-ridden face towards Donna. Donna realizes the truth. Brooke looks down.

Hope is in Steffy’s office. A woman comes in with papers. She leaves them on Steffy’s “desk” and takes off. Her phone vibrates. Hope picks it up. Then, she looks at pictures of Steffy and Liam and grimaces. Steffy is surprised to find Hope in her “office”. Steffy makes a joke about it. Hope explains the materials that were left. Steffy is okay with it. Hope asks about the pregnancy then the honeymoon. Steffy is positive about both. Hope tells Steffy she viewed pictures Liam had “posted” online. Steffy is surprised. Steffy then offers compassion for Hope’s situation. Hope looks off to the side. Then, Hope excuses herself. Steffy notes Hope is a member of both the Forrester “family” and “company”. Hope is surprised by Steffy’s stance. Steffy desires to have a “better” relationship with Hope. Steffy remarks that someone “was going to” lose Liam. She can relate to Hope’s emotions. She gives Hope her “friendship”. Hope is in disbelief. Steffy confirms it. She desires to avoid the feud between Brooke and Taylor occurring to them. Hope says that unlike how she feels about the infant, she feels Steffy is guilty. Hope claims that Liam should have been hers. Steffy stole Hope’s “life” in her mind. Steffy isn’t worthy of Hope’s “forgiveness” according to Hope. Steffy is taken aback.

High above the ground stands a stationary spider. The long legged spider is made from pipe and car parts. The body is an Isetta, an Italian post World War II microcar manufactured first by Iso Autoveicoli, which has been painted a brilliant yellow color with black spots. The tiny body of the car has the spider looking like an ol’ Texas bathtub favorite of squealing little girls throughout the area, the Grandaddy Longleg. I know these humongous spiders that still haunt my dreams all too well, and yes, they are like most other things born and raised in Texas, bigger. I know from personal experience that these spiders living up north do not grow as big as they do here. Anyway, back to the sculpture. I can only guess that this spider must also be a Johnny Anders‘ creation, as the body parts being constructed of cars and other vehicles are a dead give away.

While photographing the sculpture in front of the old sewing factory that I frequented while my aunt stitched together different cloths and laces to make delicate lingerie, I glanced across the street and noticed a cross and what looked to be pickup truck beds jutting out from the earth across the scarcely traveled road. I crossed the path and photographed the following pictures:

This sculpture, also located in Stamford, Texas, is made of high dollar matching rims, steel beams, and pickup truck beds from Fords, Chevrolets, and a Dodge. The truck rims are fixed to the front of two cross beams welded together at by a steel plate at the cross member section, the base of which is buried deep within the red caliche covered ground. Also buried within the earth are multiple pickup truck beds circling the cross. This monument was also erected by Johnny Anders, who also happens to be the mayor of the small tight-knit town of my school rivals, cousins, and some of my closest friends. I am assuming that visitors to the monument are allowed to graffiti the monument, as with Cadillac Ranch. The colorful beds and towering cross are a nice offset to the otherwise harsh terrain.

Once I grabbed the shots of the monument, I took the opportunity to photograph my closest friend, my husband, DJ. I used a flash for the photo, as the overbearing sun provided many harsh shadows around his face. If you look closely, you will see that I, along with my flash, are reflected in the left lens of his shades. The flash helped the photo to be more crisp and clear than I have done in the past. I love the detail in his beard. I know, ‘No patting yourself on the back, Pam.’ However, I do believe that this self-taught novice is getting a hang of this photography thing.

DJ and I crossed the road back toward his truck and continued our trip back south to Abilene. We talked about different things and memories from my childhood, and I longed to provide him with the opportunity to share his. Maybe, someday, we will return to his hometown.

Madeleine Levins has sent in a photo of herself titled “Crossing Fingers!”. It was taken the morning of a meeting with a Top Casting Director in Los Angeles.

Madeleine is being seen and learning from top industry professionals here in LA as apart of the Professional Actors Masterclass run by AIPA. She has described the start of the program as “…really intense. We were definitely thrown in the deep end but I’m feeling so empowered and inspired! I don’t know what opportunity I might be thrown into as a result of all this information and exposure…and that excites me!”

She also commented that the course has cemented further her decision to pursue a career in acting and has given her the tools to create success for herself!

“There’s just no other option right now that could satisfy me the way performing does. I am living my best life through acting, so how could I not drive myself to succeed!”

More updates to come on PAM, she will be studying with The Second City over these next few days to improve her improvisation skills. The Second City has started the careers of some of Hollywoods best comedic actors. Madeleine can’t wait to improve her comic timing and spontaneity in scenes.

Steffy thinks Liam is jumping the gun by readying the kid for baseball. Liam suddenly fears he’s going to be too demanding. Steffy reassures him. Liam talks about how Bill, Sr. messed with Bill’s mind. Steffy and Liam talk about the kind of stability they want to provide the “baby”. They hug. Later, a surprise has arrived in the mail for Steffy. Liam gives it to her. It is a picture frame with two pictures from the wedding of each of them and a spot reserved for the baby. Steffy is moved. They reflect on the wedding. Steffy is thrilled her baby will have a better life. She is also grateful that Liam wants their “marriage”, too. They sit close together and look at the frame. Liam rubs her arm with his hand. Steffy touches his face with her hand. He kisses the side of her face. Later, Steffy recalls paragliding with Liam. They are heading home tomorrow. They make plans to return for special events. Steffy mentions “Christmas”. She then brings up paragliding. Liam refuses. He also wants her to stay off her “motorcycle” before she gives birth. Steffy is taken aback. Liam tries to sound stern by crumbles soon after. She agrees anyway. Steffy gushes about their marriage and the “baby”. Liam kisses her forehead. They express their “love” and hug. They seem content.

Eric is sketching. Taylor walks in. She is wearing a dark purple top with dark pants. She reflects on what Brooke said to her. She notes Eric left before she “got up”. Eric had to work. Taylor didn’t have an easy sleep. Eric expresses regret about that. They talk about how he stuck “up for Brooke”. Taylor is upset about what happened. Eric desires “peace”. Taylor claims to be doing this for Katie. Eric apparently thinks it’s better for Taylor to stay out of it. Taylor is convinced Brooke is hiding something. Eric seems offended that Taylor won’t let it go. He wonders what more Taylor told Brooke when he wasn’t there. She sighs. She admits Brooke did the talking. Taylor tells Eric that Brooke questioned her motives. Eric thinks Taylor gave Brooke a hard time. Taylor thinks she is objective. Eric believes Taylor has it in for Brooke. Taylor brings up his “past” in regards to Brooke. Taylor tells Eric about Brooke’s assertion that she can reclaim him. She wonders about Eric’s take on it. Eric looks a little uncomfortable. Taylor explains the conversation. Eric seems interested to hear about it. Eric remarks that Brooke isn’t interested in him. Taylor wants to know where he stands. He warbles on about being “committed” and such. They kiss. He touches her face. I would have liked to hear that he loved Taylor and didn’t want Brooke if it was me. Still, Taylor seems happy.

Brooke is under the weather. Brooke is wearing a medium gray sweater over a white top and a dark skirt. Her doctor tries to get Brooke to confide in her. Brooke is vague about her concerns. Suddenly, Brooke is “hot”. She removes her sweater and stands. The doctor asks her questions about her health. Brooke is stunned by the questions. The doctor notes it’s possible. Brooke feels it’s too early for “menopause”. The doctor tries to reassure her. Brooke sighs. Brooke can’t handle it on top of “everything” else. The doctor thinks at best it is soon to occur. She suggests “tests”.

Later, Brooke looks through shots of her from the Brooke’s Bedroom relaunch in Eric’s office. Eric enters. He is sorry about what Taylor said to her. Brooke agrees Taylor was out of line. Eric notes the tight bond between Katie and Brooke. Brooke alludes to stuff she mistakenly mentioned. Eric thinks it’s understandable under the circumstances. Brooke is grateful. Suddenly, Eric sets Brooke straight about his “feelings for” Taylor. He doesn’t want Brooke to tell Taylor those sort of things again. Brooke seems surprised by Eric’s position. Eric cares for both women and seems to want them to get along. When he mentions the word “change”, Brooke turns away and gets down again. Eric seems worried. Brooke eventually discloses her news. He wipes away a tear and hugs her. Brooke is feeling older. Eric talks about the beauty of Brooke’s photographs. Brooke is having second thoughts about being the focal point of her line. Eric believes “no one” could do it justice “more” than Brooke. Still, Eric is sympathetic. Brooke notes this is a big deal for a “woman”. Eric believes Brooke is spectacular as always. Brooke grins. Eric hugs her.

I don’t want to minimize menopause. Some people have a lot of difficulty with it. Still, given that people were assuming Brooke was terribly ill or pregnant with Bill’s baby when they read the spoilers, it doesn’t seem too catastrophic. On the other hand, if Brooke still had Bill she probably wouldn’t even be down about it – at least not for long. He’d talk her up again, and she’d be secure faster than she could say ‘Stallion’. I wonder if this is going to start Brooke gravitating towards Bill again – as if she ever really stopped. Still, I am glad they noted that a person doesn’t become less of who they are just because they’re older.

After enjoying a weekend that was spent playing field hockey with some fellow Ninjas and other Harrow Cup participants, I can honestly say that no workout can get you in playing shape. . . .boy am I sore!  My calf muscles have been in a constant cramp since Sunday afternoon. My hip flexors have never felt so tight and my hands even hurt from holding my stick. I feel like I just finished the first few days of August pre-season. . . .Ok, maybe I don’t feel THAT bad.

From now on I think I will do all my running workouts with a stick and ball.  If you are ever in Athens, Ohio and you see a girl wearing a Ninja headband while running on the sidewalk with her purple and black Harrow stick and a ball, you know who it is. . .
