Still, some things are much closer to mandatory than others. For instance, always vote your conscience and inform your choice; don’t be swayed by irate volume. Exercise. Also, cultivate a preference for the tasteful and refined over the loud and garish. Appreciate family, friends, and food. Read good books.

A step further from necessary, but still likely good ideas: watch The Godfather. Go to museums. Develop at least a passing knowledge of the mechanics of guns. Spend time outdoors.

And if there’s still time: know the difference between a sport coat and a blazer. Pick up squash. Reconsider how often wearing socks is really necessary. Wear clothes that fit. Don’t wear square-toed shoes; you’re not a ninja. Don’t wear athletic shoes with pants, and invest in some good stationary.   

Though not essential, some of these things are close, and all are worthwhile.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a national holiday tradition, and has been so for the past 83 years, and this year the tradition continued.

This year, the parade route returns to its roots with it ending at 34th street right in front of the Macy’s store. This is different than it has been in recent years.

 There is a list of performers that include Katharine McPhee, Jane Krakowski, and we have Spiderman, Kermit and Spongebob floating down the parade route. Ziggy Marley, the son of the legendary Reggae singer Bob Marley, performed a song with his daughter on a float decorated as a pirate ship.

 Ziggy performed his new song ”It’s Family Time” while holding his daughter in his arms so she could reach the mike…very cute.

Katharine McPhee, sporting her new sassy blonde ‘do, performed her new single “Had It All.” Jane Krakowski performed a Christmas tune. She may play a ditzy spoiled celeb on “30 Rock,” but in real-life Krakowski is quite the songbird.

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus made an exuberant appearance waving to her throngs of excited fans that lined the parade route waiting patiently for the international superstar. She looked great, in light of the bush crash tragedy that killed her long time tour bus driver this past friday. Today was much happier times for her.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade aired on CBS and NBC at noon ET/9 am PT.

it’s Thanksgiving today and even though I don’t celebrate it I have lots of things to be thankful for. So here’s my top ten list:

1. I am thankful I live in Germany and Chris Hansen can’t do anything about my perverted thoughts on you.

3. I am thankful Big Daddy Dan and Mama Deborah got it on almost 18 years ago and created the beauty that is you.

I just noticed today that I had surpassed 100 posts.

That’s a lot of words.  It would appear that I have a lot to talk about.. Or more likely I’m just longwinded ..a bit of a babbler..

Regardless, I was taking a look at the original reasons that I started this blog… and thought I’d see how much I’d “progressed”.. if at all….

So, to revisit.. Here are what amounts to my New Year’s resolutions.. and thoughts on the same…

one of my many recent adventures.. this was Oktoberfest.. good times!!

• Get a job. Preferably one I love and can utilize my skills – mocking others and my insane knowledge of useless trivial information. I am thinking “game show host”.

I, unfortunately, have not become a game show host. I KNOW! What a waste!  However, I have discovered that my ultimate goal is to be a writer.. well, I’m already a writer… but I mean write and get paid for it… like, huge money.. . You know, be on Oprah and stuff.. … Now, as far as the job dealio is concerned, I haven’t secured a traditional 9-5 thing.. which is great.. because I’m really not a 9-5 type of chick.. One thing I’ve discovered is that I like working from home.. or wherever I happen to be.. and also like to work at weird hours (that’s the bohemian creative thingy there methinks..)  So, I’m doing some consulting work.. which is very, very cool. I like it.

• Move. I love the house I bought. LOVE IT. That’s the biggest bitch about this whole deal. However, I want to live closer to Waterloo where I can see my kids more regularly and be near my friends and people that I love. Do they have any game shows in Waterloo?

I DID move.. to St. Catharines.. to live with my BFF Jodi.  Which is awesome because she rocks.  However, ultimately want to be back in the K-Dub.  I love Kitchener-Waterloo. A LOT.  Big fan.  I am saying aloud that I plan on being back by February.. putting it out into the Universe, so to speak.. gonna make it happen!

• Find me a boyfriend. I like boys. A lot. However, I seem to be somewhat smarter than many of them and this seems to scare them off. Or it’s my insane good looks. Or my lack of ego. Or the fact that I have spent the last month in my rec room and actually don’t meet humans. I am also removing myself from any internet dating crap (more on that another time). Time to put on my big girl pants and meet aforementioned humans.

This is a tricky one. You see.. I haven’t been ENTIRELY truthful when it comes to the “love” section of the blog.. well, I did take myself off all the internet dating stuff.. mind you, I had a relapse and went back on for a bit.. Chatted with a few guys.. but.. really didn’t have any interest in meeting most.. met a couple.. and.. yeah, not so much. And, removed myself again.

So, to be truthful about this.. hmmm… well, I’ve had some “dates”..  and they were fun and all.. a couple of boys that I liked.. but.. y’know.. nothing came of it.. didn’t work out for various reasons.. so there ya go.

And I’ve rethought this actually.. I guess I don’t so much want a “boyfriend” as just a social life.. which I actually have!! I’ve had a lot of fun lately.. meeting new people and doing fun stuff with some great friends. And really.. fun is the operative word.. I mean, I could “have a boyfriend” if I REALLY wanted one.. I get asked out and stuff. . but.. I want the “right” guy.. ..smart and funny.. Should I be cruising the Perimeter Institute? Comedy clubs?

I know there’s a guy out there for me.. the Universe will send him my way when it’s the right time..   So I’m in no rush.. and not worried about it. Obviously whoever he is is just not ready for me yet.  After all, I AM a lot to handle….  I’ll just have fun in the meantime!

• Adopt a healthier lifestyle. i.e. more veggies, less crap, less liquor (unless it’s a special occasion, like, Tuesday..) more exercise. This will be my greatest challenge as you actually have to get off the couch….

This one.. I’ve been.. pretty good with.. I have been eating less crap.. and have been getting more exercise (really should do more crunches though..) I walk dogs for about 60-90 minutes a day (about 5-6K) and all my pants are too big.. so that’s going pretty well. Less liquor?  Well.. ..  let’s put it this way.. if I DIDN’T do all the walking, I’d likely weigh about 300lbs…

So I actually think I’ve done pretty well with them… I’m happy with my progress. But… still working on it and it’s getting better every day…

M named my shoes today – 1, 2 buckle my shoe! I love it. I also love that this blog is inspiring me to try new things. I would have never worn the plaid shirt with the striped sweater before and I love how it turned out. I love how it has been giving me fresh eyes to the pieces in my closet that I already have. I hate that we had to work half a day today and am excited to get on the road tomorrow morning. I am not sure if there will be an outfit post or not. We will see. Dear Taylor-Fans,

so this is the last post on letterstotaytay but not for the reason you may think. I’ve had  lots of time to think about it and basically came to the conclusion that I am not going to delete the blog yet. The e-mail to ask UC and Moon for their approval is already sent and I am still waiting for the answer. So until they tell me to stop I won’t.

I know I made a mistake by promoting my blog on LTT/LTR without their author’s permission and I already apologized for that. But I truely don’t see why people accused me of stealing UC and Moon’s idea. The first post I made said that Quote: “So this is a blog about Taylor Lautner. and I have links to them all over my blog. It’s not like I acted as if I made up the whole concept up or even took credit for it. There are lots of other pages, that write letters to somebody (letterstotaylor did already exist!) and I think that there’s nothing wrong with that. No one should have to justify themselves for what they feel like doing. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think UC and Moon made this whole concept up just so that people aren’t allowed to do sth like them. They SHARE it with the world.

Another important aspect in my opinion is that I’m an individual and so are UC and Moon. And therefore lettetotaylor just can’t be the same as LTT or LTR! Even if I tried really hard I could never be nearly as brilliant as they are.

The reason I started this in the first place was to give Taylor the attention he deserves (and because some girls on the comment section of LTT/LTR gave me this idea) and not to insult UC or Moon by taking over their concept. I hope people can understand this and won’t jump on the barricades.

November 24, 2009 A GROUP of transsexual sex workers in Chow Kit are using pornographic films to distract clients before robbing them, reported Harian Metro.

Members of the group would seduce the victim while another sex worker would try to steal belongings like wallets and handphones.

In a recent incident, a client known as Ping said he was asked to lie on the bed before choosing a free DVD pornographic movie to watch as a “warm-up”.

“The sex worker told me to take off my pants. It was then placed on a chair nearby,” said the 33-year-old chef.

Ping declined to elaborate on what happened next, but said he reached for his pants only to find that his handphone was missing from the pocket when he heard loud noises that sounded like a fight outside the room.

“I was even more surprised to find that my wallet, which was originally in my pocket, was moved to the top of the television set. Some RM400 was also gone,” he said.

After Ping repeatedly demanded the sex worker to return his valuables, she finally agreed to give them back, claiming that her friend had stolen them.

Today I am very happy to show you a few season fitting items of Miamai.
First i will start with the Abigail Shirt.

This shirt is an amazing multi usable piece of clothing. You can wear it as a casual top to a stylish jeans or you can addit to a classy skirt. Nice great made folds give the top a fresh look. If you take a look at the back you can see a nice detail of this shirt. The folds are going round from the front to the back and make the upper part of the back. The you have a sweet free space so that you can see the amazing back of a lady . The gloves, who are also included are repeating the filds on the seam! This shirt with the gloves give all outfits a precious touch!

Up next we have the Cydonia Pants.

This pants are something special. On the first view you see only pants. If you take a closer look your eyes be catched by the amazing leg parts. 4 attachment points are needed for this awsome designed leg parts. Ruffles and little lines with ribbons give this pants the special look. The pants layer it self has a great made texture and the belt with the same great texture matches perfect. This pants are a must have for this season!

Now lets get some color in the grey and dark days with the Mary Shirt of Miamai.

This pullover is a real highlight and perfect for the days getting colder more and more. What I liked so much was, that you don’t have a plain textured pullover only broken through folds. This pullover shows up with a nice basic color broken through shadows and light parts. The texture is made with an eye for the detail and with love for something special as we know it for all Miamai designs.

Take a look at the attachments. On each hand you have a sleeve that leads amazing from the end of the top shirt layer to the end of the pullover. My interst was taken mostly by the neckpart. The big roll collar is my personal favourite part on this pullover. It reminds me of cozy feelings when I hide my chin and neck  while I was standing at the window and looked out while I watched the first snowflakes falling down.
