Fancy Chicken

In St Mary’s Church in Wimbotsham, Norfolk, that we visited yesterday there is a host of wonderful early Victorian craved wooden pew ends.

To start with, we have a fancy chicken, I thought it had some dragon in it because of the wings…..husband said no its a fancy chick because of its wings, chickens have wings…..but what about the web feet, no fancy chickens have feathers that cover their feet.   11 more words
