We visited St Mary Magdalene Church in Gedney, Lincolnshire on Sunday, to take some photos of the flower festival. The church and flowers were beautiful and I will do a post, but I just loved the altar with the wonderful large window of clear glass that lets the light stream into the church.
This Sunday’s pulpit comes from one of the many medieval churches in Norwich, St George Tombland. We had a lovely guided tour of the church yesterday and I will do a post later. 112 more words
On Saturday we visited Tattershall Castle in Lincolnshire, next to the castle there is an amazing church, it is recognised as one of the finest examples of English Perpendicular Architecture in the country, not only that, but it has one of the highest pulpits I have ever seen. 40 more words
