Like many of us know. that a site must have a unique side of the content or template that he used. This is not simply – my eyes just for visitors. However, search engines such as MSN, Yahoo and Google also provides an obligation to each site is unique to them.

Potato contained one of the highest bleaching agent; so actually, potato naturally bleached your skin (when you apply it externally; I’m not sure if consuming potato would have the same bleaching effect — but, to be honest, I doubt that it would)

A very dark skin tone CANNOT be bleached to a totally fair skin tone; however, there will be a noticeable change.

[FYI, there are many other natural goodness out there that contain bleaching properties. But, I only put "products" that I have tried myself and have seen the effects/results on my blog --- and that is POTATO! ^^]

How to naturally bleach your skin with potato?

It’s actually pretty simple!

1. Soak raw potato slices in cold water for 10 minutes. Rub these slices over face, neck and hands;
2. Extract potato juice and make a paste out of it;
3. Grate your potatoes and use it as face mask;

OR…

if you are too lazy to do all those things…

There you go!

Just slice the potatoes and put it on your face right away! (remember to WASH it)

That’s what I do

I always do this in the morning, so I’m too lazy to do all those preparations.

[But, to tell you the truth, those other three ways listed above would actually give BETTER results - I haven't tried any, but I'm pretty sure it would, because it is a more proper way.]

Let it stay for long; but no longer that 2 hours.

(some people use it overnight, but I haven’t tried it)

Then, remember to wash your face as well just like after you used other face masks.

Easy, don’t you think?

Some precaution and notes:

I do NOT guarantee that this will suit ALL skin types

so it will be safer if you don’t put it on your face for too long if it is your first time.

The potato juice will slightly hurt your eyes if it gets inside, so it will be better to put a potato with not-too-much juices for the area around your eyes.

If you want to see BETTER results, follow this with a healthy diet

I personally see noticeable results in less that a week. (four or five days, if I’m not mistaken. But one thing for sure is that it is less than a week.)

As I left the grocery store, a red strobe came from every wall, sending all other shoppers into grand mal seizures. An auto tuned Morgan Freeman impersonator asked me to wait for an employee to assist me. A giant steel cage slammed down over me, separating me from my cart full of foodstuffs. I asked to be taken back to the security office so the ex-marine-looking gentleman eyeing my receipt could search for the stolen merchandise in my ass. But they wouldn’t do it. So I guess this Vizio LCD is mine.

What pisses me off about shoplifters is not that they violate social norms or contribute to the overhead that fuels price increases. It’s that they think they deserve some kind of dignity when they’re caught. You took a pack of Rolos, cock flap. You don’t get to walk to the back with a jacket over your hands and your head held high. You get to be tackled by seven cart-pushers and dragged, weeping, through the produce aisle, while they announce your legal name and address over the loudspeaker. You’re not taking a loaf of bread or a pair of baby shoes. You get no pity, queef whippit. Actually, even if you were, I’d still point and laugh because you’re fucking poor.

Even better: the fat bitch who tries to fight the security guys off. She’s always screaming something trashy, like “he’s trying to get down my panties!” or “Fuck you, man! I brought that chicken in with me!” or “Kick him in the nuts, Kenny!” She rolls around, pseudopods of corpulence stretching outward and covering onlookers with a yellow, pube-garnished paste before sliding back into the vicinity of her Tweety Bird tube top. This is not a How To so much as a how not to.  When you copy and paste drawings between MS Office applications, they travel with all their properties and editability.  Problem is, different applications behave in different ways.

Everyone knows about the time they spent 2 hours trying to make a lovely Powerpoint diagram look like not-garbage in the Word document that was already running late.

How To:

Always paste your Powerpoint diagrams etc into word as “Enhanced Metafiles”.

Edit > Paste Special… > Enhanced Metafile

This will mean they are not editable (who cares?) but are resizeable – including text.  They will look exactly the same as in the Powerpoint screen (yay!) but can be resized with no loss of definition and can be otherwise treated just like a static image.

Ingrediente:

• 150 g pasta (fusilli, dar sunt potrivite si penne sau spaghete)
• 1-2 graunti de usturoi
• 3 lg ulei de masline
• 1 cutie de ton fulgi/bucati in ulei
• 100 ml bulion (sa fie lichid, nu pasta)
• eventual, 1 lg ulei de floarea soarelui

Se pune la fiert, intr-o oala, 1,5 l de apa cu un praf de sare si 1 lg de ulei de floarea soarelui (daca pastele nu va inspira incredere ca nu se vor lipi).

Cand apa a fiert, adaugati pasta si fierbeti cf. instructiunilor. Daca o doriti “al dente”, va trebui sa o luati de pe foc cu un minut inainte.

Scurgeti pasta de apa in care a fiert.

Tocati marunt usturoiul si caliti-l, la foc mic, in uleiul de masline. Cand usturoiul s-a inmuiat, adaugati tonul scurs de ulei si, mestecand incontinuu, caliti tonul (tonul putin calit ii da un gust mult mai bun sosului) – cam 3 min.

Adaugati bulionul si mai fierbeti, la foc mic, 2-3 min.

Uniti 2/3 din sos cu pasta si pastati restul pentru ca fiecare sa isi mai adauge, dupa gust.

Since my last blog post, an overwhelming urge came over me to create art that perverted the cartoon rabbit. I don’t know where it came from. Like many kids from the 1980’s, I grew up watching Bugs Bunny and salivating during cereal commercials featuring Trix The Rabbit. Trix always had some scheme to get one over on those asshole kids, but the poor bastard always managed to slip up before he could get a mouthful of that colorful sugar crusted breakfast cereal.

“Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids,” sang a choir of children’s voices at the end of every commercial.

Anyway, the sudden inspiration behind these “Wabbit” paintings remains a mystery to me. I guess it doesn’t really matter. Who cares? Does every cool piece of art have to be explained?

The first of two “Wabbit” paintings is really crazy. I call it “WA’SUP DOC”.
The piece measures 24in” x 30in” on gallery profile canvas. As always I drew, painted and distressed the character on sketch paper and later collaged it onto the canvas. For me, the dark suit and TNT detonator spell fun with a capital F U N.

Next up is “THE SAVAGE SHE-WABBIT”. This work measures 24in” x 30in” on gallery profile canvas and was created using the same process as “WA’ SUP DOC”.
A rather curvy bombshell in a white rabbit suit is the key component in this composition. Yowza!
I think the irony in the piece is also fun. It’s a well know fact that rabbits are usually food for larger animals, but make no mistake, “THE SAVAGE SHE-WABBIT” is at the top of the food chain in this composition.

This is just a delicious snack or you can eat it with pasta. It’s a twist on typical garlic bread involving a bit of lime zest and juice.

I’m a little obsessed with Panera’s sourdough bread. I need to have a loaf in my kitchen at all times. Most times I’ll just eat a slice with some butter, but when I want a change I make this. It takes a little time but it’s totally worth it.

Take one clove of garlic and mince it. For this piece I chopped it in slices, but I think I prefer this bread when I mince it. To really get all of the juices out of the garlic, sprinkle about half a teaspoon of salt on top of the minced garlic and using the side of your knife to turn it into a paste. Press down with the side of your knife and drag it across the garlic.

Zest a piece of lime if you have a zester. If not, you can use a knife to scrape off the green outer part of the lime and then chop the pieces of zest finely. If you opt for this method, try only to get the outer green layer and not the white. The white part is bitter; the green holds the oils that will give you the lime flavor.

Take some butter and fold the garlic paste and the zest. Add some pepper and a little salt (if you’re using unsalted butter or if you didn’t use salt as an abrasive to paste the garlic). Spread it on a slice of sourdough bread about 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick.

Pop the bread into a toaster oven (if you don’t have one, use a broiler) and toast as you would a normal slice of bread. A vertical toaster will let all of the butter, garlic and lime zest fall off the bread and it’ll burn in the bottom of the toaster.

When it comes out of the toaster, give it a squirt of lime to add some of the acidity and enjoy!

She’s on par with Ingrid Michaelson, Jenny Lewis, and Mirah. A little rock, a little indie, a little piano-playing singer/songwrite. You are all set and ready to go!

This is by far my favourite time of the year. Everyone’s in the spirit for Christmas but I’m really just jonesin’ to start reading all the music mags top albums and tracks of the year. Usually this just gives me the chance to scratch my head at all the rando folk, somewhat electronic bands and awkward amount of animal-themed names that running through the lists, but I also get the chance to revel in the 4 to 5 bands that I do know and love that make the cut of the everyday music blogger that doesn’t hold a regular day job.

This year is quite a bit different since we not only have top albums of the year, but of the decade as well. Surprisingly, most of the major music mags have managed to release their big 00’s lists already. Apparently they’re unaware that there’s still 5 weeks left of potential list-toppers.

I’m really liking NME’s list best, too. Makes me wonder if the fact that Arctic Monkeys coming in at 4 voids their listing at the 5th best British band of all time?

Expect a less obscure list from yours truely sometime next week.

Until then, check out some of the big timers and scratch your head along with me in trying to figure out who 60% of their list is. Indie cred aside, if I have to hear how good Animal Collective or Grizzly Bear are again, I’m going to light my guitar on fire and feed it to a Queen St. hipster.

So you have broken out with a bad attack of acne, have you? Chances are that you are quite upset and have probably lost no time at all in looking for a remedy for your acne problem. But if you have thought of looking in the shops, why not stop and think about what you can find closer to home, right in your own kitchen, in fact!!

Acne solutions are closer than you think. Before you work yourself into a state of distress over your acne problem, remember that there is help at hand, no more than a stone throw away, in your own kitchen!! All too often, people with skin problems tend to look at products that are commercially available, quite forgetting that they can get so much more from natural sources such as fruits and vegetables, without spending a penny.

Some magic for your acne problems. So let us take a look at what we have got. You will be amazed once you really try to start looking for acne remedies in your kitchen. Here are a few examples:

Apply a paste of honey and cinnamon powder on your acne before you go to sleep at night. Wash it off the next morning, using warm water. Do this for two weeks and watch your acne vanish for good!

Apply toothpaste on your acne at bedtime and wash it off in the morning. You may have to do this a few times, but you will surely see the difference it makes to your skin.

Apply a pulp of ripe tomatoes on your acne, leave it on for one hour and wash it off. Do this a few times and watch the effect on your skin.

Cover painful acne swellings with strawberry leaves and watch the swellings subside.

Wash your face and then pat the acne affected areas with balls of cotton wool soaked in vinegar.

A paste of fenugreek leaves applied to your acne overnight and washed off the next day is very effective.

Lightly apply a small quantity of egg white on your pimples, leave it on for 20 minutes and wash off.

Grind sesame seeds to a paste with water and use it as a pack to heal skin that has been inflamed by rashes, allergies or acne.

Do the same thing with orange peel, use it as a facemask and remove it after half an hour. Watch your skin glow!

Another effective remedy for acne is a paste of sandalwood made with rose water and applied to the acne. Wash it away after half an hour.

Your best bet for acne problems. Well, those are just a few examples of acne remedies that could be available to you any time you want. Why go through the headache of coping with treatments and medications you know very little about and take the risk of dealing with unpleasant side effects, when you can get so much for so little right in your own home?

What could be better than treating your acne with natural products straight from your kitchen? Even acne treatment products that claim to contain natural ingredients can never be quite the same as the stuff that comes right out of your kitchen. You would surely agree with that!

Of course it is true that some of these treatments may have to be repeated several times before you can really see the difference. But then, you know that you are getting the very best of care from natural products. What more could you want?

So the next time you have an outbreak of acne, resist the urge to look for remedies in the shops and go instead to your very own kitchen, where you know you will find everything you need to treat your acne. Plenty of reason to keep smiling!!

This whimsical baby shower fondant Winnie The Pooh and Hey Diddle Diddle cake was created as a surprise for a couple who are adopting a baby girl.  The cake was spice with apple filling and a chocolate layer with a chocolate ganache filling.  All of the characters were molded out of a fondant/gum paste mixture.

Pentru acest meniu avem nevoie de urmatoarele ingrediente:

- Paste fainoase

- Piept de curcan

- Branza rasa sau taiata cubulete

Pastele si pieptul de curcan se fierb inainte de a se aseza in Vasul Roman.

Se amesteca ingredientele (pastele fainoase, pieptul de curcan, branza, ouale si ciupercile), si se aseaza in Vasul Roman.

Deasupra se presara cascaval ras si cateva felii de vinete.

Vasul Roman se introduce la cuptor 1,5 ore:

Ingrediente:
4-500 g rosii proaspete
2 catei de usturoi
4 fileuri de anchovy (optional, dar este mai bun cu ele, si nu se simte oricum gust de peste)
1 lingura capere
o jumatate legatura patrunjel, tocat marunt
masline negre sau maro (eu folosesc kalamatra) – 50-100 grame
1-2 linguri pasta de masline (optional, dar conteaza mult la gust)
boia iute sau ardei iute taiat marunt
ulei de masline (4-5 linguri)
4-500 g spagete
Timp de preparare: aprox 30 min
Mod de preparare:

Se incinge uleiul de masline, si se calesc putin usturoiul taiat si boia de ardei/ardeiul iute. Se adauga fileurile de anchovy si se sfarama cu o lingura de lemn, pana se dizolva in ulei.
Atentie mare sa nu se arda nici uleiul, nici fileurile, deoarece strica gustul. Eu dau tigaia la o parte de pe foc cand le adaug.
Se adauga rosiile si caperele, pasta de masline, maslinele si jumatate din cantitatea de patrunjel.
Se lasa la foc mediu vreo 10-15 minute, si cand sunt gata se sareaza daca mai e nevoie (depinde de anchovy si de pasta de masline/maslinele folosite) – de obicei sunt destul de sarate.

In paralel, pastele se fierb al dente, in multa sare (eu le fierb intr-un fel de saramura, ca sa ma asigur ca iau necesarul de sare.

Se amesteca pastele cu sosul si cu restul de patrunjel.
PS: daca se renunta la fileurile de ancovey, sunt vegetariene.
PS2: in poza nu am folosit si masline

Hey friends,

Recently I have had an explosion of activity in my studio. I have completed a whopping ten new works of art for my current series “WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY” Since my last blog post, I decided to create some smaller works in addition to the larger pieces on canvas. Each piece introduces a new crazy character and few different approaches to painting their backgrounds. Two of the pieces are on stretched gallery profile canvas and measure 30in” x 40in”. The other eight pieces created are on 100lbs. Bristol Vellum and measure 11in” x 14in”.
I create the compositions for the smaller works much the same way as I do for the larger pieces.
The characters are drawn, painted, and distressed, then later cut out and pasted onto painted backgrounds.
The canvas pieces are called “HOT BUTTERED IDOLATRY” and “ART SCHOOL DROPOUT”. “HOT BUTTERED IDOLATRY” A Mickey Mouse type character dominates the canvas. For me, this painting is both ominous and funny in a strange sort of way. The piece is more minimal than earlier works and has a little blue and red strategically placed throughout the piece.

“ART SCHOOL DROPOUT” is the other work on canvas. It features a very pissed off looking character sporting Mickey Mouse ears and Captain America shirt. The background painting is heavily layered with news print paper and very messy in an abstract expressionist sort of way. Blue and orange paint really jump and pop around the villianous character. I haven’t worked this messy in a while, but it was a lot of fun. I think I may create more work in this fashion.

The eight smaller works on bristol are great. They all feature the bust of a new character and a few consist of more simple, but effective painting techniques in the background. I won’t go into too much detail considering they’re are so many of these works. Here are a few of the titles to spark your curiousity: “LONE RANGER“, “BOY WONDER“, “FOILED AGAIN!“, AND “DOLLA BILL“. I spent this week playin with new approaches to depth, color. I like the idea of teetering back and forth on that edge between photography and illustration or painting. How much image is necessary? How much color is necessary? How much does a image simply fall apart as you approach it. It’s just a investigation.

Ingrediente:

100 g paste, o cutie ton, o cutie roşii decojite, usturoi, cimbru, sare, boia de ardei iute, ulei de masline

Mod de preparare:  Se pune apă la fiert cu sare şi uei de măsline, iar când clocoteşte se pun pastele şi se fierb aproximativ 10 minute.

Se taie ceapa mic şi se prăjeşte până devine aurie, după care se adaugă roşiile, usturoiul, cimbrul şi boiaua de ardei. După 5 minute se adaugă şi tonul şi se mai lasă încă 5 minute la foc mic.
