DO YOU HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST?

“And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?” Mark 8:27

I used to worship a Jesus, my personal savior, whom did not exist. Yes, my Jesus was a figment of my imagination, sin, my hope to continue in my sin and still gain salvation. My Jesus would forgive me simply because I asked him to, simply because I confessed my sins.

No where in the Gospel do we hear or read that JESUS will forgive the sins of those who confess their sins and ask HIM into their lives simply based upon their actions of asking and confessing.

NO, the scriptures teach us that we must, ” From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

BUT more so we know JESUS prayed, 39″And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” and prayed again, 42″He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.” Matthew 26:39, 42

The JESUS who would be sent by the FATHER and given for the sins of the world, whom must die as the penalty for sin is the only JESUS who is worthy, who is able to save us from sin. Has your JESUS paid the penalty for your sin, has HE said “It is finished”?

“Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.  But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.” John 7:28-29

“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: e pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 19-21

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. Acts 20:28-31

Who is following Rome? Who is following Billy Graham? Tonight 26 July 2008 I listened to Bob Coy give communion at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. Bob Coy mentioned how by eating the bread and drinking the juice we would be eating and drinking of the grace and mercy of Jesus. He said this would be coursing through our bodies only moments after eating and that we would have Jesus in us. A bit confusing from a Roman Catholic perspective as to what the Gospel of Jesus is. Reminded me of the Billy Graham Gospel (BGG).

While flipping channels I stopped to watch Billy Graham preaching in Sacramento, California 1983 during his crusade. Not with any shock, though still chagrined, I heard Billy Graham state that Mother Teresa and Ghandi did not deserve to go to hell like other people who are wicked and evil.

First of all, who made Billy a judge, there is One Judge even God. Secondly, what other people is Billy talking about. Does Billy mean the other liars, thieves, adulterers and blasphemers in the world. The Bible says, there is none good but God. So then we can conclude that neither Ms. Teresa nor Ghandi deserve to go any where else but straight to hell like the rest of us. We all need a Savior, praise God! And we have a Savior in Christ Jesus, praise God!

This brings about a very serious question. Jesus says a little leaven leavens the whole loaf. So why does Pastor Bob Coy, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Oprah and many other pastors of mega churches support the Grahamster? Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale had a larger than life picture of Billy in a hall of the church for years. Are these pastors also supports and components of the Roman Catholic Church?

Graham went on to say in his 1983 crusade, how some of us have hell in our hearts, how hell is here and now in our hearts and in this world and will if we do not confess our sins, continue throughout eternity. Many Roman Catholics simply confess their sin every week, and then trust in a magic potion of grape juice and loaf bread to both cleanse them and heal them of their sin. Please read Hebrews chapter 10 and repent of this blasphemy.

Do you trust Billy G, Bobby C and all his other cronies who slide up under him at the Cove in NC?

Are you a vessel unto His Glory. Are you fit for Honor?

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.’ 2 Timothy 2:19-21

Recently I visited China for a month. Worked in Guangzhou for 25 days and then visited a missionary family in Kunming for 5 days. Psalm 18 was a scripture I had been given before this trip and again this scripture came to me while visiting Kunming.

Psalm 18:43-44 applies to the people of China. Wow! I had a driver take me out in the countryside about two hours out of Guangzhou. I shared with this young man what the Bible speaks about spiritual Life and Death. How that all are worthy of and will receive spiritual death based on our merits, the Ten Commandments. On the way back, I looked over at “Jack” and he was crying, trying to hide it, but crying. I asked what was wrong, he stated emphatically, “I don’t want to be spirit dead!” I said, “Me either.” and again shared the Gospel of the Grace of God by the Gift of Life through the death of His Son and How Jesus paid our penalty on the cross. Jesus said, “It is finished!” I repeated to him.

Psalm 18:43-44, “Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

“Not my will but yours be done.” We have been given a will, we should make our will to be the same as the will of the Lord Jesus, just as Jesus made His will to be the same as the Father’s will. If we have the Love of Christ we will obey His commandments. What is your will?

What is the ‘Will’ of God for your life? How about simply asking, What is the ‘Will’ of God? I know what is NOT the ‘Will’ of God. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

What is your ‘Will’, is your ‘Will’ in line with, is it the same as the ‘Will’ of God? Ask HIM! “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

What ‘Will’ you do with what God has ‘Willingly’ given you? You have the knowledge of the Saving Grace of God through Christ Jesus the living only begotten SON of GOD who is GOD. There was a man who was given 10 talents another 5 talents and yet another 1 talent. Do not bury that which God has Freely Given. HE is Risen!

What kind of Lump will you be? Do not blame God for your own ineptitude, if you need faith, ask for more faith. HE gives liberally of the Holy Spirit, Good Gifts, ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find.

Merely by happenstance, I attended CCFL Boca for Good Friday service. My original intent was to be involved in a Bible Study that occasionally takes place there on Friday evenings. Much to my chagrin I hear the all too familiar voice of Bob Coy as I approach the building. Remember, this is the same man who first asked me not to street preach because ‘It isn’t our style’. Guess I should have worn my shirt tail out. This same Bob Coy also came to FAU campus, where my friends and I had been witnessing every Wednesday, but Bob came to give a presentation. At FAU Bob and CCFL handed out tracts that asked the question “Did Jesus Really Have Sex”; blasphemous to even suggest by way of question.

This same Bob Coy ended the Good Friday service with a call to “Just Admit Your Sin”. Just admit your sin? If you just admit your crime to the judge, the judge will just put you in prison. Catholics just admit their sin in confession to the priest and to their eucharistic christ. Just admitting your sin does not have a broken nor contrite heart condition before God. Bob said, “Just admit your sin and the Holy Spirit will come to you.” No, just admit your sin and that is all you have done, admit you guilt before God.

Jesus commanded us to repent, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15

and has called all men to repentance every where, Acts 17:30, 2 Peter 3:9.

We cannot allow the call to repentance to diminish. Keep the purity of Christ’s call to repentance and holiness, sharing the Gospel in Spirit and in Truth.

You Therefore Endure Hardness as a Good Soldier of Jesus Christ!

Are you experiencing a real persecution from the world around you? Are you daily being persecuted for your love of one another? Are the world and those around you attacking, plotting against you for your life? Are you hated by those around you?

Praise the Son of the Living God, Jesus, for eternal life through His death, burial and resurrection! What more does Christ promise us? “These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.” John 15:17-21.

The Bible warns us to separate ourselves from the world. More than once, the world sought to kill Jesus, by stoning, by throwing Him from a cliff, and finally by crucifixion on the cross. John the Baptist was beheaded. The temple priests beat Peter and John and again cast Peter in prison. Paul spent a great deal of his ministry in prison and was finally beheaded.

How are you living your life in witness to the testimony of Christ? If those of the world around you are not offended by the Testimony of Christ in you, then how can the prophecy that Jesus spoke of you be True? The world will HATE YOU. Have you experienced the hate of the world? Have you been hacked with a machete, your car burnt, church burnt, dog shot, have you been screamed at, spit on… has anyone thrown a rock at you today? Have you been put in prison, threatened, beaten, or fired from your job because you proclaimed the name of Jesus?

If you have been persecuted for the name of Christ, praise God, “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12

But do not forget Christ’s warning to us, if we be found loved of the world.

Matthew 5:13 “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”

The sole survivor of a radical Muslim attack on four Christian high school girls has successfully undergone medical treatment. When Noviana Malewa and her three friends were walking home from school on October 29, 2005, they were assaulted by a group of jihadists wielding machetes. Three of the girls were decapitated by the assailants, yet Noviana survived a severe slash to her head and neck in an unsuccessful beheading attempt. Today, Noviana still deals with emotional and physical torment from the brutal attack.

Are you being persecuted, are you living a life that witnesses the Testimony of Christ?

Have you ever seen those guys standing on the street corners, yelling out and telling everybody, “You need to repent and submit your life before Jesus, the Bible says if you do not you will die and go to hell.” Wow, the nerve of those guys, right?!

Why would a Loving God condemn anyone to hell? Why not simply tell everyone “Jesus Loves You!”? Jesus loves everyone, right? Why does anyone need a Savior? What are they being saved from? How will their sins hurt them? Why did Jesus have to die? Isn’t the Lake of fire considered the second death? Is this a Spiritual death? Is God Spirit? Did God come in the flesh as the only begotten Son of God? Is His name Immanuel, being interpreted, God with us? So is Yeshua, Jesus, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit? Did Jesus give His Life on the cross? Who did Jesus die for? Do you deserve death? Do you deserve spiritual death? Have you done things against God? Have you broken God’s Law, the Ten Commandments? Did God set the penalty for breaking His Law as death? Did Jesus die for you? Are you worthy of death? If you were worthy of death before coming to Christ, have you suddenly become no longer worthy of death? So do you still deserve spiritual death? Do you still have a Savior? Would you need a Savior if you were not worthy of death?

Is it hateful to quote scripture to someone? Is it hateful to warn someone of a horrible place called hell? Is it hateful to point out that someone has misquoted scripture? Is it hateful to tell that the Bible warns that God will Judge all and if anyone is found guilty of breaking any of God’s commandments then they will be condemned eternally to the Lake of Fire?

Is it hate or judgment to explain the Bible says those who do not believe are condemned already because they have not believed in the One in whom God sent.

Why would the owner of such a worldly media empire want to publish the Bible? Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” Matthew 12:25-26.

Is Rick Warren promoting Rupert Murdoch’s porn? As we all well know, everything Rick Warren does is on purpose. What is Rick’s purpose in associating himself with Murdoch?

Does the church you attend support Zondervan? Do you support through purchases, Zondervan?

Who do you know who has never heard the Gospel of Christ. Come on, think real hard and see if you can name a few. Well, have you got your list together; then shame on you. Call them immediately and share the most important thing for all eternity the saving Grace of Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God. Of how they need a Savior because God WILL put them in Hell (spiritual death) for all of eternity because they HAVE disobeyed His commandments and He is a Righteous and Holy God and in His loving goodness He will not let them go unpunished simply because they say they are sorry and then repent. NO, tell them how this God of Love will Judge Justly and condemn to spiritual death in Hell all disobedient. Then and ONLY then tell them the Good News that Jesus laid His Life down in their deserving stead. There is no need for Grace without Judgment and Condemnation. Let them know this is not something they can balance out. Let them know their dying need for The Savior, for His Grace!

Generally we think of people in another country as those who have never heard the Gospel. Our thoughts first jump to China or Africa or some other remote region of the Globe. We are living in the U.S. and this is a Christian country right? Praise God, over the past week I had opportunity to witness to two individuals who said they had never heard the Gospel. True, right here in Broward County, in the heart of down town Fort Lauderdale. These were not foreigners either, no these were true red blooded Americans. Wow, what a blessing to hear the both of them exclaim, “Thank you, I’ve never heard that before.” I did not ask to lead them in a sinners repentant prayer, this is the role of the Holy Spirit. However, I did give them an analogy of them and someone who had just saved their life, and asked them how they would feel toward that person.

So again I challenge you, who do you know who has never heard the Gospel of Christ.

Their blood is upon your head!

No longer do I attend Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. Bob Coy, Jim Kay and the leadership at that church warned that I should not preach the Gospel on the sidewalk from a box. “Sharing One-2-One is ok.” Jim Kay reassured me in a conversation he said was based on counsel given to him by ‘Pastor Bob’.

Where were these guys when Jonah went through the streets? Wow, what if Peter and John at the warning of the Temple leaders had decided never to preach the gospel anymore, anywhere but from their homes. I suppose Paul would not have heard Stephen preach and then again Stephen would have never been stoned.

How much more backward can we as Christians get? Jesus said that Right would be taken as Wrong and Wrong would be taken as Right. Thank God for Peter’s response to the false teachers in the Temple, “Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.” Acts 4:19

YOU want excitement in your life? Preach the Gospel. Look at Paul’s life, never a dull moment. Praise God, I get to preach the Gospel two to three times each week! Wonderful to hear someone say, “Thanks, I’ve never heard that before.” Also wonderful to hear someone say, “What gives you the right to judge me”. We do not have to judge, there is One Judge and His Judgment is Just. We are only responsible for preaching the Gospel and to give a good answer to anyone who would ask.

A good friend of mine, JC, from Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale said, “You did that in your flesh.”; meaning I had witnessed to someone and was not led by the Holy Spirit to do so. Paul determined to go into Asia but the Spirit prevented him. YES I did do that in my flesh. I am flesh filled with SPIRIT, I will do all things in my flesh for it is certain that the dead cannot please God. Do something in your flesh, do what we are commanded to do, do what the Love of God in you should compel you to do every moment of every day, Glorify God, share His glorious Truth, the Gospel of Christ.

DO PREACH NOW, before the friend you’ve been trying to have an evangelistic relationship with for the past two years dies and never hears the Grace of God.

What is keeping you from preaching the Gospel?

Recently I went night fishing with a friend. Wow, under the beautiful full moon he began to pull them in one after the other. After his third fish I prayed. “Lord, please, I want to catch a fish too, please, nothing major just a fish.” Then I began to think about how the Lord would maybe let me catch a big fish or even a shark or something really cool. As I continued to daydream about the type and size of fish the Lord was going to let me catch,… it happened. Wow! What excitement! This creature was really putting up quite the fight. As i reeled the monstrous beast closer to shore my mind began to create all sorts of expectations. Could this be indicative of how the Lord wanted to bless me in my business, could the Lord be showing me what great things He would do with my life, could the size and beauty of this fish be in direct proportion to the precious wife the Lord would give me?

Finally pulling the creature to shore, my friend and I stared under the full moon at one of the ugliest, toad looking fish that you ever did see. Man the thing looked like a devil. I referred to it as the ugly toad devil fish. I immediately knew why I was not catching any fish, I knew why I had caught this toad fish. Sin. Yes, sin in my life. I fell, no dove into looking at something inappropriate for a grown, much less a grown Christian man to be looking at.

Do you want to be used by the Lord. We must keep ourselves clean. “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16

Do you want to catch Fish? Matthew 4:19 “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”

Christ exhorts us to follow Him another time in Matthew 16:24 “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Further Jesus warns us, “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”

What does Christ mean by exhorting us to “deny yourself” & “take up your cross”? Simply repent and submit yourself before God. Deny your flesh. Sin is pleasurable for a season and then destruction. Galatians 6:8.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:7-8

Literally pick up your cross and follow Christ, denying your flesh and walking in the Spirit. “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.” Hebrews 12:4

The time is short, are you catching Fish? What are you doing with your talents, have you buried them? Do not let your lamps run out of oil, trim your wicks, do not miss the wedding banquet. Do not be a tree that does not bear fruit and is good for nothing but to be cast into the fire. Do not be luke warm, Be “ON FIRE” for Christ and His Glorious Gospel.

If you do not share the Gospel, will you still go to heaven?

Interesting how we define the word “Find”. The dictionary definition does not include seeking something out. No, rather this is when we happen upon something, discover something in our pathway. If you are in the Path-Way, seeking the Lord, then you may happen to come upon, or discover your wife or husband to be, while in the Path-Way.

How much is our responsibility and how much is the Lord’s when it comes to that special someone, dating, marriage? Abraham sent a servant to find a wife for his son Isaac. Isaac was 40 years of age and he was comforted for his mother’s death. Isaac had to do nothing other than trust the Lord. Joseph, even though sold into slavery, did nothing other than trust the Lord in all of the circumstances he was brought through during his walk in the Path-Way seeking the Lord. Joseph was given his wife. Adam and David likewise did nothing to deserve their wives. The Bible tells us in 2 Samuel 12:8 that all of David’s wives were given to him by the Lord’s own hand.

In all of these circumstances we see man’s responsibility as Solomon points out in Ecclesiastes 12:13, respect the Lord and keep His commandments. Obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22. Are you obeying the Lord? Do you from time to time stray from the Heavenly Father’s Guidance and seek out temptation? Obey the Lord, do not grow weary and faint, for in “due season” we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9, Luke 18.

“Due Season”, when is this? If we trust the Lord, then we know that He is Good and “Due Season” will come. ” I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 Why am I saved? What am I saved from? What did I do to be saved? How can I explain my salvation to my friends? Should I be reading the Bible, praying, going to church? Do I have to quit cussing? Do I have to quit drinking beer? Do I have to quit sleeping with my girlfriend?

A denomination cannot save, as neither can the roman catholic church nor knowledge of the Holy Scriptures.

John 6:63 Jesus says that, “It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Jesus is speaking of Spiritually taking part in the benefit of His, God’s sacrifice, of His Flesh. Only the act of Christ saving us can save us. Further in vs. 65 Jesus tells us that we cannot come to Him except it were given to them by His Father, meaning God. Earthly robed fathers, priests cannot call us to take part in the sacrifice of Christ.

Jesus earlier in John 3 had spoken of Spiritually being born again. John 4, Jesus tells us to drink of water He offers that will spring up to everlasting Life. In John 5, Jesus exhorts us to “hear my word, and believe on him that sent me” and we will have everlasting life, without condemnation, passing from death to life.

Finally John 6, Jesus continues to explain to those who ate the physical bread He had miraculously made, that they must receive something Spiritual from Him, they must take part in a Spiritual transformation from death to Life. John 6:33, read the whole verse. The bread Jesus is speaking of is Him giving His Life so that we can have Life. Faith in Him, what He has done.

Scripture is complete. The Jewish scriptures do not contain the apocrypha. These greek texts were added 400 years later. After John’s Revelation. The Jewish scriptures today, still do not contain the apocrypha. The Holy Scriptures Are Testimony of Who They Are. Rev 22:18-19

Ephesians 2:8-9 definitely speaks of why we are saved. Argument begins with the definition of Grace through faith. Many today have contorted Grace to being, ‘Just as I am’; Billy Graham, a heretic said this, not the Bible. John the Baptist did not say, ‘Scribes, Pharisees, come on down this is the Price is Right’. No he said, “Bring forth fruit meet for repentance“.

How should we go before the Lord and what is acceptable before Him? A broken and contrite heart.

How do we know we Love the Lord? How do we know we are saved? Faith.

So What’s On at the Billy Graham Training Center? The Cove is a pretty fancy looking hotel to be holding a seminar for Christ’s followers. Didn’t Jesus say the foxes have holes, man the Cove is some more hole, it even has a camp for the kiddies. I’d say an almost high-fa-Looting hole for a very big Fox. But then that would mean it is all about the money wouldn’t it.

Billy Graham a Fox? Worse, would you believe a heretic. Oh wait, only call one an heretic after the 1st and 2nd admonition. What about after the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, …70th x 7. Is Billy a bigot too? Chock one up for Franklin & Osteen.

So why is Bob Coy teaching again at the Cove? Does Bob Coy agree with Billy Graham’s heresies for the past 50 years or is Bob simply ignorant of such. I wrote Bob Coy and other Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Pastors a letter and email with the same evidence contained herein. The response is that Bob is teaching at the Cove again.

Bob sure does appreciate the Rolling Stones. Bob’s sermon at the Cove is titled “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction (Ecclesiastes)”. We’ve already heard this one, its where Bob wants to slap Solomon, God’s anointed. Guess Billy likes a good laugh, Pastor Bob sure is funny. And apparently Bob endorses Billy Graham’s heresy as evidenced by the larger than life effigy of Billy in the East hall of CCFL and his participation at the Cove.

Should church leadership and Pastors separate themselves from heretics? Should Christians, Pastors, Deacons and Church leaders speak out against such and expose them as heretics? What does the Bible say?

Relevant to man, or Glorifying to God? Nakedness.

God has always commanded us to cover our nakedness. “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21

NP said he would be a new kind of nakedness, “A nakedness that wasn’t embarrassing; a nakedness that God would say is cool.” That is NP’s opinion, the Bible says something different.

“None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 18:6

NP further states, “The more transparent (naked) we get, the more God can do amazing things through us.” Hitler was fairly transparent, so is Osama BL, but these even in their complete transparency do not have amazingly good things accomplished with their actions.

We do not need to be naked before God, He knows our hearts and if our hearts condemn us God is greater than our hearts. We do according to the Bible need to trust in the Lord. Why was Abraham circumcised, not to become naked before God, no. Rather in faith Abraham knew that his covering would be the Lamb God would prepare of Himself for Himself. ” And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.” Genesis 22:8

Repent of this lewdness and avoid all appearance of evil, be relevant toward God, not man. For God alone has the power to convict and convert the heart of man. For there is no other name under heaven by which men can be saved, but the name of Jesus.

” For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8

Earlier today while on the circular treadmill at Bally’s the TVs above were on as always and the music blaring out some R& R sound that make your feet want to move to the beat. I began to read the script of the sitcom on the Tele. Actually enjoying myself and the moment, I caught myself even laughing along at the sitcom. Now as I think back on what was only a few hours ago, for the life of me, I cannot remember which sitcom was on or what it was about, only that I enjoyed the moment.

But what I do clearly remember is the conversation that took place right next to me while I was jogging along in place. the man on the circular tread next to me was chatting with a buddy of his who was standing next to him. The conversation went something like this…

Treader – “I don’t believe gays and homosexuals go to purgatory simply because they have a different sexual preference.”

Buddy – “The Catholic Church says all gays and homosexuals will have to go to purgatory”

After hearing their bantor for a few minutes I politely asked, “Why couldn’t homosexuals go straight to heaven?” Treader & Buddy responded in stereo, “Because they’re homosexuals.” This began our discussion of what God requires for each in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. These men knew that homosexuality is wrong and a sin according to the Bible, but they did not know that homosexuals could go straight to heaven if they would only repent and trust in the blood of the Holy Lamb of God, Jesus.

A great conversation ensued over the next 15 minutes in which I was able to ask these men whether or not they thought they would themselves go to heaven. Praise God I was able to share the Grace that God offers each of us through repentance and faith. At the end of our conversation they both thanked me and asked when I usually came in to work out insisting that we must continue this conversation on another day.

I will not take credit for this opportunity to share the Gospel of Christ, but thanks to some other young man named Chris, whom Treader and Buddy reported was Greek, had only moments before our encounter shared how evolution was not biblical. This apparently erupted into a debate between Treader and Buddy as to who and how someone would go to heaven. Had Chris not opened the floor with creation according to the Bible I would have had an otherwise awkward approach in speaking to these men.

We must always be ready to give a defense of the Gospel and if creation versus evolution or abortion versus right to life will afford us an opportunity to, then play the part of an evangelist and by all means entertain the conversation and share the Good News, Jesus Lives!

One late afternoon in June of this year, while working in the back of the shop with the bay door opened I was approached by three young children selling candy bars as fund raising for their annual school trip. Of course being busy and trying to meet customer’s demands and deadlines, the last thing I wanted to do was drop my tools and give my undivided attention to these children.

These three youngsters made a hopeful plea for their cause that brought about a conviction of being sorrowful that I might be the only reason for them not making a school trip this year. First one child would encourage how wonderful the trip would be if I would just buy a chocolate bar for a dollar and then the next child would protest how my not spending a dollar on a chocolate bar would be the end of their summer without a trip.

Praise God for opportunities! Yes I bought the 3 chocolates and afforded myself an opportunity to share the Gospel of Christ with these three children, two of which mentioned they had never heard this message. Giving each a Gospel Tract and sending them on their way, I prayed. “God forgive me for not recognizing immediately this opportunity to share your Gift of Goodness by the sacrifice of Jesus our Lord.”

School Fund Raisers, Boy & Girl Scout Cookies or simply Children selling lemonade; these are opportunities to share the Gospel of Christ.

Children are what we must be in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, children of God. “Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:12-14

The Bible teaches of using what God has given us to further the Gospel in the parable of the unjust steward, “And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.” Luke 16:8-9

Be wise as a serpent but gentle as a dove, buy chocolate bars for a dollar and the opportunity to share the Gospel.

In Luke 16 Jesus speaks of a certain rich man who had a steward who had wasted his master’s goods. And the rich man called the steward and asked him to give account. The unjust steward went and shrewdly dealt with all those who owed his master. “And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.”

Will you go to heaven because you hand out water? Can you win souls by handing out water? Do people receiving free water understand that Jesus loves them? Can a free car wash clean someone’s soul?

The Bible is clear “There is no one Good but God.” Mark 10:18. So why hand out free water, why give a free car wash? Jesus goes on to remark in Luke 16 “Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.” Yes, give free water and free car washes as affording an opportunity to also give along with these the message of the freedom one can have through Christ from the condemnation of the law which brings about spiritual death in hell.

What are you doing with what God has put into your care?
