Just wanted to share this clip from Rick & Bubba at a Tea Party in Birmingham, Alabama, making an appearance on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox.  Rick & Bubba have been near and dear to my heart for easily the last fifteen years and they are truly good men – outstanding Christians, Southern, proud patriots who more often than not hit the proverbial nail square on its head.  This excerpt is no exception.

Patriot: You can’t argue that there should be no government from a Christian perspective because Jesus totally approved of Government “GIVE TO CAESAER WHAT IS CAESAR’S”. I’m not afraid to governing myself, I’m afraid of other people governing themselves and infringing on my rights.

Revolutionary: Rome was merely the military force that kept Israel in check nothing more. The Pharisees were the true political power and I do not need to go into how Jesus conflicted with them. Yes, I do know that the High Priests were the religious leaders, but at that time they were leading the people more so than any roman governor of that time. I do not disagree with your statement of giving what is Caesar’s to Caesar, but in essence that can be taken however you want. My own interpretation of that is how Jesus says to obey the laws of the land; of course we know we can accept laws up to a certain point until the conflict with our own views. The last part of your statement is something of a curious contradiction. By having a Christian perspective as I have said before means and means only, “Loving God and loving your neighbor” which translates to how we must see and hope for the good in people. So, by being afraid of how they may infringe on your rights is a conflicting statement.

Patriot: I m totally supposed to love my neighbor, but it is completely naïve to think that no crime would happen with no possibility of punishment. People commit crime and infringe on the rights of others with a government now. The church doesn’t even expect people to do only good. Look at confession. Would that be necessary if we didn’t make mistakes, if we were perfect like you expect people to be? Also Rome was a bit more involved than you think. The way they are ruled was that for the sake of peace, the area was allowed to “rule” itself. The conditions were that if the king got out of line or the Romans simply didn’t like him, they put in a new king. All other laws that applied to the rest of the Roman Empire still applied to the area and in fact the Romans particularly liked asserting their authority in striking don rebellions. Revolutionary: Yes, I never said Humanity was perfect, but again as I have said before we are striving after Christ’s example. Maybe not a replica since that is impossible, but the word strive, as definition means to try, hope to be. Who said there is no possibility of punishment? If there are no laws enforced people naturally take it into their own hands. I understand the negative connotations of this, but let us look at it from this angle, if a man comes onto your property armed and goes on to threaten your family and yourself, it is within your rights to kill him, is that not punishment for his crime against your family? We have lost the idea that crime is not only breaking a law, but a bad action as well. Concerning Rome that is all well and good, but Jesus did not deal with the Romans until his crucifixion, so that does not stand.

Patriot: Here I think is where we differ the greatest. In order for true justice to be achieved there must be a regulated, unbiased, and impartial judicial system. In so many primitive cultures capitial punishment was used for a huge variety of crimes. As we know as Catholics, the death penalty is so rarely needed nowadays that it is virtually never needed. Your example is a self defense situation. If your life or my life is in immediate danger we totally have the right to kill in defense. However, if the act has been committed and you catch him later, what should his punishment be? What if I think his punishment be? What if I think his punishment should be harsher? What if I think his punishment should be harsher? What if your neighbor thinks the punishment should be lighter? Who’s judgment is true justice? IF the punishment is imprisonment, who has the right to jail the convict? Do you want to lock him up in your house? Do you want to be in charge of feeding him? If you won’t then who will? Maybe some good Samaritan will build a prison to store criminals while they serve whatever sentence has been dealt. How is he going to pay for that? Donations…? I’m not going to argue that statement about Romans, not because I don’t have a response, but because I’d rather discuss this more.

Congratulations to the America people.  You have successfully elected the one person that can, and will, completely destroy the Constitution.  Thanks to electing Obama, we are losing all our freedoms one by one.  The government now controls our energy usage thanks to Cap and Trade.  The government now controls our thoughts and the expression of those thoughts thanks to the Hate Crimes legislation.  The government will soon control our choice of doctors, medical procedures, and general lifestyles thanks to the health reform bill.

 Is this the change that you wanted America?  For all the faults that George Bush had, he wasn’t intentionally trying to destroy the foundation of this nation.  Obama is doing this on purpose.  Having grown up surrounded by communists he was doomed to at least lean in that direction.  So it is no surprise that with every situation that comes up, he looks to his communistic philosophies for the answer.  In every case, he is wrong.  Communism does not work.  Just look at the fall of the Soviet Union and the horrible conditions in Cuba as examples of how bad communism can turn out.  Even China has started to implement more capitalistic solutions to problems because the old communistic approach doesn’t work.

 I read an article this past week about a “Constitutional Congress” meeting in Illinois.  This meeting had a lot of people with a large range of differing philosophies, but one major goal.  They want to preserve the original intent of our founding fathers.  They want to resurrect the Constitution.  They drafted a document that restricts the federal government from stealing our freedoms.  Especially our freedom of speech, religion, and gun ownership.  The document also calls the Patriot Act unconstitutional along with all these energy initiatives and the health care reform.  I agree with most of what they came up with but I don’t understand how it can make a difference.  Unless the American people start demanding that their representatives actually represent them in Washington, congress will just keep doing what they have been doing this past year.  How can we actually implement and ratify the document that was produced?

 The only solutions to our issues are voting out the current representatives or impeaching them.  I think we need to start impeachment proceedings.  Maybe if one or two get impeached, the rest will finally start to pay attention.  I would prefer to vote them out of office, but that would mean putting up with a lot of them for another couple of years. 

 The only other possibility is the Supreme Court.  If our current justices would actually do their job, none of these pieces of legislation would make it into law.  Since every single one of these bills undermines something in the constitution, the Supreme Court needs to strike them down and declare them unconstitutional.  But they have made it abundantly clear that they do not want to hear anymore cases related to our first amendment rights.  They recently chose not to hear a case concerning a valedictorian’s right to mention God in their commencement speech.  By refusing this case, they allowed a blatant violation of an individual’s right to free speech.  This is inexcusable.

 Our country is in a world of hurt right now and unless we act soon to take our country back from these communists, we will lose our country for good.  Come on people wake up and fight for this country and the constitution.

Welcome to Obama’s America, where there are only three truly evil acts: 1) being a conservative; 2) working for Fox News; 3) being a patriot who tries to keep America safe from its enemies.

These SEALs are at least guilty of number 3, and are most likely also guilty of 1 as well.  That’s more than enough for Obama.

Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges For Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist

Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.

The three SEALs will be arraigned separately on Dec. 7. Another three SEALs — two officers and an enlisted sailor — have been identified by investigators as witnesses but have not been charged.

FoxNews.com obtained the official handwritten statement from one of the three witnesses given on Sept. 3, hours after Abed was captured and still being held at the SEAL base at Camp Baharia. He was later taken to a cell in the U.S.-operated Green Zone in Baghdad.

The SEAL told investigators he had showered after the mission, gone to the kitchen and then decided to look in on the detainee.

“I gave the detainee a glance over and then left,” the SEAL wrote. “I did not notice anything wrong with the detainee and he appeared in good health.”

Lt. Col. Holly Silkman, spokeswoman for the special operations component of U.S. Central Command, confirmed Tuesday to FoxNews.com that three SEALs have been charged in connection with the capture of a detainee. She said their court martial is scheduled for January.

United States Central Command declined to discuss the detainee, but a legal source told FoxNews.com that the detainee was turned over to Iraqi authorities, to whom he made the abuse complaints. He was then returned to American custody. The SEAL leader reported the charge up the chain of command, and an investigation ensued.

The source said intelligence briefings provided to the SEALs stated that “Objective Amber” planned the 2004 Fallujah ambush, and “they had been tracking this guy for some time.”

The Fallujah atrocity came to symbolize the brutality of the enemy in Iraq and the degree to which a homegrown insurgency was extending its grip over Iraq.

The four Blackwater agents were transporting supplies for a catering company when they were ambushed and killed by gunfire and grenades. Insurgents burned the bodies and dragged them through the city. They hanged two of the bodies on a bridge over the Euphrates River for the world press to photograph.

Intelligence sources identified Abed as the ringleader, but he had evaded capture until September.

The military is sensitive to charges of detainee abuse highlighted in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. The Navy charged four SEALs with abuse in 2004 in connection with detainee treatment.

I’d first like to thank these SEALs for their service; second, I’d like to thank them for capturing Ahmed Hashim Abed; third, I would like to thank them for giving this slimebag a fat lip.

Let’s assess the record of this administration: repeatedly attempting to contact al-Qaeda — merits a promotion; giving a terrorist murderer a fat lip — merits a court martial.

This is what happens under the Obama worldview that requires providing Miranda rights to terrorists and according them all the rights and privileges of American citizens.

It is a cancer that resulted in the Obama administration declassifying vital intelligence secrets which kept this country safe in order to use it as a political weapon

It is a cancer that resulted in the Obama administration literally attempting to criminalize the role of our intelligence professionals at the CIA for their role in desperately striving to keep this country safe.  Now, surprise, surprise, the morale at the CIA is at a 30-year low (dating back to the last time a Democrat tried to destroy the Agency).

It is a cancer that resulted in a Muslim captain who’d had regular email contact with al-Qaeda as well as “soldier of Allah” on his business card getting promoted to major before murdering 14 human beings and wounding more than 30 more at a military base – as he screamed ‘Allahu akbar!’ – while our own SEALs get disciplined for capturing such murderous bags of slime.

It is a cancer that resulted in five confessed terrorists going from requesting the death sentence at a military tribunal to getting an opportunity to plead not guilty and use the civilian trial Obama gave them as a platform for their jihadist worldview while putting America (and George Bush) on trial.

It is a cancer that has resulted in a president dithering for nearly three full months while ignoring his own handpicked general’s request for more troops in Afghanistan.  While nearly twice as many American soldiers have died (so far!) than died under George Bush.

Today Obama came out and – while continuing to criticize Bush for not having the right “strategy” – said he intends to “finish the job” without bothering to have any kind of explanation as to what the “job” even is.   Which is to say, some fat load of good his three months of “policy reviews” has done.  Meanwhile, the morale of our troops is sinking, while the morale of the Taliban and the number of the American body count is rising.

And we have Barack Hussein to thank for inflicting us with this cancer.  The sooner he is gone, the sooner our healing from cancer can begin.

Note to fools: there is no CSI Kandahar, and there is no CSI Baghdad.  We cannot possibly ask our soldiers to gather evidence and turn battlefields into crime scenes.  We are worse than idiots for demanding that our warriors on foreign battlefields act like domestic police officers.  It is a blatant category fallacy.

The local police chief in Ozark, Arkansas is standing behind one of his officers who tasered a 10-year-old girl who was refusing to go to bed.

The bizarre story is laid out in a police incident report obtained by website The Smoking Gun.

Officer Dustin Bradshaw was called to the home by a woman complaining that her daughter was being unruly and refusing to go to sleep. Bradshaw wrote that when he arrived at the home, he found Kiara Medlock “balled up in (sic) the floor crying and screaming.”

After watching her mother attempt to get Kiara into the bathtub with little success, Bradshaw took the girl into the living room and threatened her with jail. That didn’t settle things down. At some point, Bradshaw claims Kiara’s mother told him to “taser her if I needed to.”

Bradshaw then tried to handcuff Kiara. But he couldn’t manage that either.

To hear Bradshaw tell it, he was now in the midst of a full-on brawl on the living-room floor with Kiara, a Grade 5 student. The 65-pounder was “verbally combative … struck me with her legs and feet in the groin,” Bradshaw wrote.

That’s when he reached for his holster and delivered a “very very (sic) brief drive stun to her back with my taser.”

Unsurprisingly, Kiara’s struggling stopped immediately. Bradshaw then cuffed her and carried her to his squad car, since she could no longer walk.

The incident hit the news when Kiara’s father, Anthony Medlock, took exception. Medlock does not live with Kiara’s mother.

“I want to know how the heck in God’s green earth can they get away with this … If you can’t pick the kid up and take her to your car, handcuff her, then I don’t think you need to be an officer,” Medlock told local Ozark 40/29 news. He said his daughter has shown signs of emotional issues, but she “doesn’t deserve to be treated like a dog.”

The local police chief stood behind Bradshaw and his decision.

“He had no other choice. He had to get the child under control,” said Ozark police Chief Jim Noggle.

No disciplinary action is pending against Bradshaw. However, the Associated Press has reported that the FBI has dispatched agents to Arkansas to investigate.

Medlock said he will attempt to gain sole custody of his daughter.

I watched a great film the other night, “Ghandi”. I mention this only because we have a reached a point in history which far surpasses what Ghandi saw when he began his quest. But, we to are at a point where non-compliance may be our only avenue in order to regain control over our rogue government. We might as well face it, it is not going to get any easier.

Pastor David Manning of the ATLAH Church in Harlem, New York was visited recently by the CIA and NYPD detectives and questioned about his programs, attacking as Rev. Manning likes to refer to him as, “The Long Legged Mack Daddy Barack Hussein Obama”. The reverend has spoken out about the birther issue and stated that white people have had enough and are going to rise up, and that he would join them. The concern lies with the allegations that Rev. Manning might be trying to incite violence.

This man is doing one thing and one thing only, exercising his first amendment right to free speech. That is the real issue with the CIA’s visit. And since Manning is a small fish in a big pond of talk show hosts who speak out against Obama, and the whole system in Washington, he is an easy target. So to arrest him and imprison him could be the biggest mistake these Gestapo goons could make.

It is apparent that these guys didn’t really do their homework. This man has a large following who will stir up a ruckus if he is arrested. And then there is the other side of the coin. As Rev. Manning explained on the Alex Jones show on Thursday, this will bring the whole birther issue to the table once again. But, instead of just the issue over the existence of a piece of paper, a human being will be the defendant. This could be a lot harder for the courts to sweep under the rug.

If the film “Ghandi” is historically correct, then we all will have our own battles as we quest for the restoration of our beloved republic. It may be a confrontation with one person, or a crowd, or a smart aleck cop who’s having a bad day. How we react to “them” will dictate their reaction to us. I’m not suggesting anyone get themselves arrested or beaten, or both. But, exercise your right to free speech and your rights as a sovereign individual.

Private School Students Learn About Martial Law

Shortly before 8:00 Tuesday morning, a concerned parent visited the elementary school at West-Mont Christian Academy in North Coventry, Pennsylvania. After checking in at the desk, the teacher was escorted to the lobby to wait for his child’s kindergarten teacher.

At some point, the parent made the “mistake” of walking upstairs to look at some of the student-produced artwork. Eventually the teacher arrived and had a “fruitful” discussion with the parent, who left.

Unfortunately, the teacher who had been the parent’s original escort panicked when the visitor couldn’t be found. The administration was notified, and at around 8:30 a.m. the children were herded into the gym, and lockdown protocols went into effect.

“Police called in the Chesmont Emergency Response Team [ERT], who were training Tuesday in the township, to assist in clearing the building,” reported the Chester County, PA Daily Local. It’s not clear whether the ERT — a paramilitary police unit equipped with Pentagon-issued toys — arrived in their nifty “Peacekeeper” armored vehicle.

CHARLESTON — Republicans in Charleston County censured their own U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, saying he puts bipartisanship before the party on issues like climate change.

“U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in the name of bipartisanship continues to weaken the Republican brand and tarnish the ideals of freedom, rule of law and fiscal conservatism,” according to a resolution passed Monday.

Graham has often reached across the aisle on various issues. The resolution notes Graham supported the bank bailout and “has shown a condescending attitude toward his constituents” opposing his stance on amnesty for illegal aliens.

I mourn with David at the recent loss of his mother, Vivian Hall, a lady who knew and loved the Lord and her family well. Vivian raised them to walk in His footsteps and do great things and touch many in His service. I celebrate with David the blessing of her life and treasure moments with the entire Hall family through the years.

Several mails I had received during the week requested what this week’s editorial should be about. Agreed. The visit of Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra to Cambodia has more than any other recent event received wide international attention – at the same time it resulted in bringing a range of different and opposing issues to the surface, beyond the straightforward political tensions.

The disparities start with the wording, how the visitor is called in national and international media: the possibilities extend from the fond description of Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra as an “eternal friend” by Prime Minister Hun Sen, to the more neutral description when referring to the “former Thai prime minister ousted by a military coup,” to the references – and this not only in part of the Thai press – to the “convicted fugitive, because of corruption, and who finally violated the bail requirements and fled the country to avoid going to prison.”

This is the first controversy.

The Cambodian government did not only refuse to live up to the Cambodian-Thai extradition agreement, “considering the prosecution and legal process against Thaksin Shinawatra as a politically motivated proceeding,” and therefore even handed back the Thai documents submitted to seek Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra’s extradition. On the other hand, the Thai government and part of the Thai media felt that already that extending an invitation and offering the function to be an adviser to the Cambodian government were an insult to the legal system of Thailand.

As a public reaction in Thailand, the popularity of the Thai Prime Minister, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, almost tripled, with appruval rates of 24% in September to 69% recently, according to a poll.

The interpretation of Prime Minister Hun Sen, that the present Cambodian-Thai dispute is basically a personal dispute between the two prime ministers, was not shared in the international press. More fundamental problems were touched upon: What does it mean for the international standing of a country when a search warrant by Interpol can be dismissed, after the fugitive, who is being sought under a “red alert” warrant, after a bail violation, and after a criminal conviction for corruption in dealing with the sale of valuable public property to a family member, up to the grotesque $60,000 event of the mysteriously mistaken box of chocolate.

How would such events be dealt with under a Cambodian anti-corruption law, due to be adopted by the National Assembly since a decade ago? If actions of corruption are committed in combination with political ones, are they then no longer subject to criminal prosecution?

There were several rumors and denials – that Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra would fly together with the Cambodian Prime Minister to the APEC meetings in Singapore.

Surprising also, that the Cambodian Prime Minister compared him to Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar. In an interview with Times Online, Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra said: “There are some similarities there, but not really everything. The similarity is we won elections, we rule the countries. We’ve been ousted by the coup d’etat and we come from the people. We are democratically elected leaders and we come from the majority of the people – a big majority, not just a small majority. She’s under house arrest, I’ve been kicked out of the country.”

The Cambodian government has never found such strong critical words against the ruling military in Myanmar. Will the Cambodian government also accept such advice and change its position? The statement “I’ve been kicked out of the country” contrasts with the fact that the self imposed exile abroad started with breaking bail arrangements with the Thai law enforcement authorities, traveling abroad without the promised return.

But the invitation to Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra as economic adviser may lead to a second kind of controversies.

Press reports in Cambodia were not enthusiastic about his speech in front of 300 selected economists. The Cambodian Daily said that his address “primarily dealt in generalities and contained little that Cambodian economists will not already know.” Not only that: Some of his advice runs contrary to some of the traditional approaches of Cambodian economic practice.

Thakshin Sinawatra became the favorite politician among a majority of the rural population in Thailand because of his new policy of favoring them directly, with debt relief and village loan funds administered by the local communities themselves. The revenue of the public and the private sector should, first of all, be directed towards the poorest sector of society, is his advice. Large scale land leasings to big companies in favorable relation with the government, leading to considerable groups of the rural population losing their land, coming to demonstrate in Phnom Penh, asking for justice, as happens so frequently in Cambodia, are not compatible which the vision of Thaksin Shinawatra’s economic policies.

Surprising is also his emphasis on the need of reconciliation and good neighborliness between Cambodia and Thailand, in order to foster Cambodia’s economic development, including the promotion of Thailand and Cambodia together for international tourism, presenting themselves as a “joint destination.” This runs against many recent antagonistic trends: the Thai government had proposed to submit Preah Vihear together with the Cambodian government to the World Heritage Committee, which was flatly rejected by the Cambodian side. During the last year there were even plans discussed in Cambodia to create an international airport 500 meters below the mountain range where Preah Vihear is situated, which is conveniently accessible from the north, from Thailand. This plan, to exclude the natural access to Preah Vihear – and therefore tourism via Thailand, was soon given up again as economically completely unreal. The public outcry some years ago, when Bangkok Airways had named one of its airplanes Angkor Wat – while other planes are named according to other international destinations, promoting tourism to these places – has no place in this context. The Cambodian Daily reported his emphasis on the need for cooperation between Thailand and Cambodia, as the two countries’ economic fortunes are inextricably linked – adding: “Of course, not all my compatriots see it that way right now.” Those who see it differently in Thailand are assumed to suffer from being shortsighted, driven by false patriotism.

One may ask whether the anti-Thai actions of 2003, when the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh was ransacked because of a baseless rumor, resulting in further arson so that the hardware damage alone of that night was estimated at US$56 million, and the tensions before and after the designation of Preah Vihear as a World Heritage Site, would also fall under a similar verdict by Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, that a false patriotism is in the way also in some of the Cambodian attitudes and actions.

It is surprising to consider how future suggestions of the new economic adviser of the Cambodian government will be handled, while land conflicts in rural areas continue, further large scale leasings of land are under consideration inviting countries from the Middle East to start agro-business ventures, and Japanese companies are considering to create new large tree planting schemes in Cambodia.

Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra’s suggestions may not only be unwelcome in his own country. They run counter to major trends of present day Cambodian big business.

Today I watched KING CORN, a documentary by Aaron Woolf, which was a book that I had on my booklist.  This movie was a visual representation of the first 4 chapters of Omnivore’s Dilemma.  The author, Michael Pollan was actually in this documentary as a cameo appearance – or a couple of them.  Aaron Woolf and his friend basically pull up stakes in Boston, and move to Iowa to plant an acre of corn.  Then they followed the corn, the Agribusiness laws that changed the industry, where their corn might go; and how the corn industry was affecting other industries like the CAFO’s (animal feed lots).

Interestingly enough I watched a documentary last night directed (and from a book written by) Naomi Wolfe, called END OF AMERICA.  This documentary was about the road to turning an open nation into a closed EMPIRE like that that was created by Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Gayoom etc.  Wolfe lays out 10 steps to tyranny – including completely annihilating the Constitution of the US which our leaders have sworn to uphold.

It is true! The government made swine flu to knock all of us off so they can rule the world without a bunch of blithering douche sacks getting in the way! According to many people, the government wants to reduce the population of the whole world by up to 90% and they have begun by attacking us with these horrid diseases and who knows what they may do next. If you are thinking about getting the new H1N1 vaccine, think again! The vaccine is poison and it will kill you within a few years. It also has micro chips in it so it can track your every move on this planet!

The best way to survive the swine flu is to lock yourself in your home and wear a gas mask. This will keep you safe and once the swine flu has killed everyone off, you will have the chance to come out of your safe place and get all sorts of cool products at the store cause they will all be free! So as you can see, there is a positive side to this nasty pig flu!

Wrap your home in plastic wrap so the swine flu germs won’t be able to get in and then camp out in your place until the all clear whistle is blown. This may take several years so stock up on food and water so you won’t be found dead from starvation.

My Camera Editorial Advisory Board comment published on May 23, 2009, in response to the Camera’s question: In honor of Memorial Day, which will be observed on Monday, we ask what it means to be an American patriot?

Patriotism is the tender feeling of love and devotion for country, the realization that our homeland is what it is because of the sacrifices of others. It’s a deep appreciation for that inherited gift. Patriotism is the tear in our eye as we attend a war memorial and the commitment we make to remember the fallen. It’s making time and taking the effort to learn and instill in the next generation American history and the stories of its heroes.

Patriotism is national pride swelling in our hearts as we listen to great and small concerts filled with “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Semper Fidelis,” and other patriotic music. It’s the stillness, even reverence, we feel as we watch a flyover, hear “Taps” and see the American flag flying in the breeze.

Patriotism is a way of life filled with courage. We go about the business of maintaining and strengthening America. We stand up for what is right. We vote. We build, and we serve our country.
